Doton Soushi no Jutsu (Rock Creation Technique)
Rank: "D" "C" "B" "A" "S"
Skill: NinJutsu
Effect: A technique where the user takes the time to formulate, or create Rock in order to use other types of techniques for great usages.
Special: "Handseals"
Drawback: Must be learned more and more in order to be capable of performing better, and capable of producing more Rock like formations for other types of techniques. Cannot be used on Sand
Description: What occurs is that the user takes the time to push down into the ground their own chakra. As the user does this the user takes the earth like materials found within the ground which is the components of soil as they begin to formulate and harden them all around in order to create harden rock like materials. The user may slam their hands against the ground in order to use this technique or just by pushing their chakra down to the ground. A user can gain the capability of grabbing onto the very ground and molding a piece of earth into a hardened like rock. The more the user learns and the higher the Difficulty class the user becomes the more they are capable of mastering this type of technique. When first learned the user is only capable of formulating rock into the size of their hand. When the user learns the "C" Rank, version this type increases to five meters in radius. Each time learned after that, the distance increases by ten feet giving a total distance of thirty-five meters in a radius distance. For each Difficulty class the User is the larger number this distance becomes. Each Difficulty class after C The distance increases by Ten meters. This means that if a user becomes S Rank in Difficulty Class and learns the S Rank Version of this technique the user is capable of formulating Rock within a Seventy-Five meters Radius.

So they had finally gotten off of the boat and arrived in the land of tea. He stood there in the middle of a small park in town. He wasnt to familiar with this island or its inhabitants but none the less he figured a playground was a playground. And he could have some fun. Even though his idea of fun was training. And not playing on the playground like most children would want to. Saigoto knelt down bringing his knees to his chest.

The jutsu he was going to work on learning today was a earth jutsu to making rock. This jutsu Saigoto was told was to be the basics of all earth jutsu. That it would be the deciding factor in how strong his earth jutsu would and could be. So Saigoto decided to take this as seriously as he could. He did not want to screw this up. The basics were something he needed to work on.

Saigoto reached down and grabbed a handful of soil. Soil was just a mixture of many different minerals combined together in the earth. So in theory if Saigoto were to use his chakra and grab those minerals and begin placing them together again and again until the minerals were starting to actually form a rock he would get a rock. It was so simple.

He had a decent hand full of soil in his hand however it hit him shortly afterwards. "I still have to do the handseals first" A sigh would escape afterwards as he dropped the soil and then formed a few handseals that would be need to make the rock. After he finished the handseals he gathered a decent amount of earth chakra in his right hand. The chakra swirled around then as he reached down and picked up a new clump of soil.

Bringing the soil up to about eye level Saigoto began to let his chakra do its thing. He would have the chakra begin to grab minerals that were in the soil and start bringing them together almost fusing them together to make sure they would be lose and shifty but solid like a rock. He would also put pressure on the soil by wrapping his fingers around the soil and attempting to make a fist. He hoped this would help compress the soil together.

Saigoto after a few moments of fusing the minerals together and squeezing with his hand began to slowly open his hand to see the results of his work. Unfortunately when he opened his hand much soil still fell over the side of his hands and now smeared his skin making his hand rather dirty. However there was a very small rock in his hand now. About a inch in diameter all the way around. A slight grin on Saigotos face. At least he was not a total failure. He figured one more try at this and he would have it learned.

Standing up to stretch his legs for a quick second he quickly knelt back down to the same postion he was in before. People were starting to look at him wierd in the park. But it was kind of to be expected. Here was this 11 year old kid who noone was watching and the kid was just playing in the dirt. No one said anything but everyone was thinking it. But Saigoto did not care. He was on a mission and he was determined to learn this jutsu.

Placing his hands together he began to throw about a flurry of hand seals. The seals came quickly as to be expected. Saigoto finished up the last seal and once again placed his hand onto the ground picking up another large clump of soil. The earth chakra in his hand immediately began to release and started fusing together the minerals in the soil to make a rock.

His hand tightened around the clump of soil to help compress it in his own way. He didn't think there be much to this jutsu but it wasn't proving to be difficult just time consuming. He focused as the chakra worked in ways that Saigoto didnt even know it could and then smiled as he could feel that his hand was feeling quite a bit of pressure while he was squeezeing it was almost as if he has a decent sized rock in his hand.

He stopped pouring chakra into his hand and slowly opened his hand to see soil still fall over the side of his hand but alot less this time. As he opened his hand more he could see the makings of at least a two inch in diameter rock. He was proud of his work so far however he still wanted to atleast make a rock the size of his hand.

But Saigoto was pretty sure he had it down now for what he needed to do for this jutsu. He sighed as he let the two inch rock down on the ground next to the one inch one. He placed his hands together and formed the handseals he needed once more. He placed his hand on the ground grabbed a large chunk of soil and let his chakra go to work.

Soon after he had grabbed the large chunk of soil a rock easily the size of Saigotos hand was sitting within the palm of his hand. Proud of his work Saigoto stood up shaking his hands off. He had done quite a good job.

Effect: A simple technique used as a distraction in which the user uses a few hand seals concentrating along the chakra towards the ground. Doing so, the user takes the chakra and the rocks as they use the simple knowledge of the Doton Soushi no Jutsu (Rock Creation Technique) to push forth sending multiple small grape sized like pebbles towards the opponent.
Special: "Handseals"
Drawback: Depending of the rank the user knows of Doton Soushi no Jutsu (Rock Creation Technique) depends on how much pebbles the user is capable of pushing forth.
Description: Small like stones is created along the ground in pebble like form as they are pushed up along the ground and sent flying towards the very enemy or enemies depending on the type of distance the enemy or where the enemy is standing. This type of attack is somewhat of a basic like attack and is to be considered more of an annoyance when first learned by the basic form of Doton Soushi no Jutsu (Rock Creation Technique). When the user gains rank as well as Difficulty class of Doton Soushi no Jutsu (Rock Creation Technique) the technique of Doton: Tamaishi Danmaku (Earth Element: Pebble Barrage) becomes even more dangerous with more pebbles within the distance.
Limit: Needs the Earth Release, must have knowledge of Doton Soushi no Jutsu (Rock Creation Technique)

So Saigoto was still in the park and now in front of him where he was still kneeling he had three tiny pebble looking things sitting in front of him. One of one inch in diameter and one of 2 inch in diameter a third the size of his hand. Saigoto thought what if he could attack an opponent with something like these pebbles. At first the idea sounded simply crazy and weak at first. But saigoto figured with enough training he could easily do this.

He looked at the pebbles lying on the ground and began with the hand seals. Forming them slowly but surely to make sure he would get them right. He wasn't even sure what he was going to do with this technique. Just hurling small rocks at the opponent is what he thought. As he finished the handseals he let his chakra flow threw his feet and then into the ground. He began to make a few tiny pebbles along the ground. In a few seconds time he could see atleast 6 tiny pebbles about an inch in diamater sitting on the ground infront of him.

Now for the next part. To use the chakra to hurl the pebble at one of the kids playing on the playground. Saigoto looked around. And found a kid hanging on the monkey bars. The kid was maybe 7 or 8 years old had a runny nose and a popsicle hanging from his mouth. Saigoto just did not like the look of this kid. Saigoto used his chakra and gave the closest pebble to the boy a good shove with his chakra.

The pebble didnt move at all. Well to say it didnt move at all would be a lie. It kind of rolled like half way on its side one way. Saigoto sighed. He really wanted to take his built up frustration out on the kid. Throwing a few rocks at him would do just fine. However at the same time Saigoto was worried about what the adults might do. However that was quickly thwarted as Saigoto remembered he didn't care.

He looked down to the pebble's that lay on the ground forming the hand seals once more. He really wanted nothing more then to pelt this child square in the face with a pebble. Saigoto finished the last hand seal. This time he let his chakra into the ground. However this time he didn't make pebbles because he all ready had many pebbles there.

Using his chakra Saigoto focused once more on the spot he wish to throw the rock at. He focused as hard as he could his eyes squinting focused solely on the spot just between the kids eyes and a little up towards his forehead. Saigoto Pushed hard with the chakra watching the pebble soar threw the air missing the kid by several feet. The kid saw the pebble and looked to see who threw it.

The boy however seemed to think Saigoto was just throwing stuff. That there was no way that Saigoto would be throwing something like a pebble at a boy. Saigoto decided to try again. Maybe his aim would be better this time. He formed his hand seals and focused once more at the boy. He didn't make the pebbles again because He still had a few. This time Saigoto was going to try and launch at least three pebbles.

All three would be directed towards the boy. With a grin on his face he would focus the chakra underneath the rocks he had made and prepare himself. Each one was at a different angle from the boy so he would have to do quite the calculations to shot them directly at the boy. But for saigoto this calculation was child's play.

Saigoto focused and then "1.2.3." Saigoto said as he fired each one off at the boy. The pebbles would fly through the air with deadly accuracy and a speed that was like that of someone throwing a small rock. The Three pebbles would land on the boy one in his temple one on his cheek and the other on his shin. It was wierd Saigoto thought he would have the technqiue down by now.

The third stone was suppose to his the boy in the chest. But saigoto looked he saw the popsicle lying on the ground where the boy was under the monkey bars and a crying boy running behind a rather large and angry looking woman. "Hes the boy that threw rocks at me mama" the little boy cried. Saigoto was not one who liked to be interupted during his training.

Forming the handseals to his new jutsu he would release a rather large amount of chakra threw his feet onto the ground. The chakra would gather and begin forming about ten small pebbles. The pebbles would form on the surface and the chakra would then begin to circulate back into the ground prepareing to throw the rocks at the approaching woman.

"Just a little bit further." Saigoto mubbled lowly with his head down. He was in a foreign country now noone here would care what he did. The kage might but if what saigoto was doing here bothered the kage and Kysuugi didnt then Saigoto would lose all hope for the kage.

"Are you the little bastard throwing rocks at my kid." The large lady would yell as she approached Saigoto. Saigotos head would snap up a crazy look on his face. "Why yes I am that bastard" as the small flurry of pebbles would begin to bombard the woman who tried to swat them away as she was being hit with them. After the pebbles stopped hitting her She looked down to See saigoto gone.

Saigoto was now hiding in a nearby tree ready to see what he should do next.

Saigoto was sitting in the tree looking down at the woman who was looking for Saigoto. When she had vanished Saigoto hoped down. He needed to learn how to shoot the rocks at multiple opponents now in multiple directions and at varying distances. Shouldn't be to hard for Saigoto. Considering he was a genius when it came to calculations and variables and all that. Or at least he liked to think he was a genius.

As soon as his feet hit the ground he began to form the hand seals for the jutsu once more. His hands flew in a fury and as soon as he finished he released a large amount of chakra into the ground. The chakra swarmed into the ground making many pebbles appear on the surface. The pebbles would shake and rumble as Saigoto prepared to launch at two diffrent targets. One on his left and one directly infront of him. He was sure he could do it.

He took aim prepareing his chakra to throw the rocks in both directions with a sudden surge of chakra. He would prepare himself and say "Now" as his chakra would throw all the rocks in the one direction in front of him. Great He didnt throw them in two diffrent directions he would have to try again.

He looked to his right. There was the angry mother now with bruises covering her forarms she was so pissed as Saigoto. He had better throw more rocks at her. As well as at the people on his left that he had originally planned on throwing rocks at. He formed the handseals as he let his mind clear. He would need to focus 100% on the two targets at hand. He Looked to his left and to his right one last time.

He released the chakra into the ground forming about 15 small pebbles on the surface of it. His chakra would circulate around and start to gather at designated spots under the rocks. Saigoto would close his eyes as he would then thrust them open releaseing the chakra again throwing the rocks both to his left and to his right. The screems of children to his left and the sound of the angry mother to his right showed that he had hit both his targets. With a grin and a wave Saigoto jumped back into the tree but this time began running until he met the city again landing on a roof.

Saigoto would land on the roof to realize he wasnt to far away from the edge of town. After a short travel to the edge of town he would reach a quiet rather open area just outside. It was towards the beach. The beach was about a good 50 feet away in one direction and where Saigoto was now was a open area leading to the beach with plenty of dirt. in the other direction was a small group of trees Saigoto would be able to mess around with later for training. For now all Saigoto wanted to do was to work on earth jutsu.

The newest thing he wanted to work on was learn how to make much larger rocks and possiably give them shapes. As of right now he could make small pebbles but he still needed to learn how to make much larger rocks and do much more with them. Such as giving them a general shape and movement also learning just how much chakra he would need to use to make a rock of that size. An essential jutsu for a earth type user.

Saigoto would look around. After making sure he was in absolute solotude he would sigh. He enjoyed being by himself alot more then being with others. It was nice maybe that was why his clan had moved about like that. He would sigh as he began to form handseals a smile on his face. What an amazing feeling. But now it was time to be serious. The chakra would flow into his hands as he formed the handseals.

Saigoto would take a deep breath as he knelt down and placed his hands firmly on the ground releaseing the chakra and letting it flow throughout the earth gathering up minerals and soil to be used to make a rock for Saigoto. He was aiming for a rock rather big. Preferably about the size of his head. He didnt know how well it would work though.

The chakra moved around sifting through the ground as he gathered the materials. As his hands began to lift from the ground a small rock was slowly rising with them. Right now only about a good three and a half inches in diameter. However it was coming along quite nicely. However as soon as he had revealed half the rock the rock stopped rising with his hands and the rock crumbled to pieces completly.

That was great. A waste of chakra that was. Saigoto didnt like failure and so he figured he would try again. Maybe he would have to focus on a few harder materials to be used in making his rock. After performing the handseals once more while takeing a few side steps to be in a new spot he placed his hands onto the ground once more and released the chakra. Letting it flow naturally from his body.

The chakra would effortlessly merge with the soil beneath his hands and feet and begin gathering minerals to be used. A sweat drop rolled down Saigotos head as he worked. The rock would gome along nicely. Three and a half inches in diamater and counting. The rock was rising from the ground. When Saigoto had lifted his hands compeltly the rock was as round as his head. However as soon as he took his hands off the rock distater happened.

The rock shattered and fell to the ground once more returning to the soil state that it was before Saigoto had interfered. He didnt understand what was wrong. Maybe the Chakra wasnt holding the minerals together right and couldnt support the weight. It would definnaly be something Saigoto would have to work on but Right now he was wanting to work more on size and now quality.

After moving once more to a diffrent spot Saigoto breathed in. He had a feeling this was going to take quite awhile he had so many things to learn specifically about this. It would be such a pain to. He would probly be out here all day. But that wasnt going to stop him. The hand seals flowed quickly as he prepared himself once more to try again.

Kneeling down he slammed his hands on the ground. He was going for a five inch in diameter rock this time. He didnt think it would hold together all that well but who knows he was going to atleast try. As he began to lift his hands off the ground lifting the rock above the surface that he was making. The rock was allready cracking and not looking all that sturdy.

Saigoto sighed. Another failed attempt as he lifted the rock even slightly higher from the ground the rock was allready breaking apart just under his hands small pieces shattering and falling to the ground. How was he suppose to get to something as big as him at this rate. His anger rising Saigoto began to pump more chakra into the jutsu lifting harder as he did so hoping to pull a fully completed rock from the ground. It wasnt looking to promising but he had to atleast try.

As he pulled the rock up a full five inch in diamater rock came with his hand. Ripping it out of the ground Saigoto fell backwards landing with a thud on his head. he wasnt all that happy. But Oh well it wasnt all that bad. His head didnt hurt he just felt kinda dumb for falling so easily.

Saigoto stood back up. Determined now to do this. His head stung a little but nothing he couldn't handle. He continued to work. thinking of ways to work on and improve the jutsu he was working at. So far it seemed like he was making steady progress if only he could make the rocks stick together. This time he figured he would try for something much larger then he had ever done before. A rock that was a foot in diameter. He should be able to do it.

He took a deep breath and holding it for a second he performed the hand seals kneeling down and placed his hands on the ground releasing his held breath. As he released his breath he let the chakra flow smoothly from his body. Or at least he liked to think it was smoothly. In all honesty it was probably way to much chakra for what he was trying to do but he figured he could always work on chakra control for the jutsu later.

His chakra flowed around in the earth. This time in a much larger area then he ever had before. He would need alot more raw material and a lot more chakra to cover such a large area and to make such a large rock. he doubted he would even be able to make a rock of this size but he would sure as hell try. His fingers dug into the earth as he could begin to feel his chakra doing is work and forming the rock. However he could also tell from the feel of it that the rock was softer then any natural found rock but he would continue to do his best.

As he began to lift the rock from the ground he could see a major problem all ready. There was a giant hole int he middle of the rock forming as he lifted it. The rocks size was fine however in the middle going completely through the rock was about a inch in diameter hole. He would have to work on that too. But right now his biggest concern was just finishing this rock. A grunt would escape from Saigoto as he lifted the rock completely out of the ground.

he could tell from the way it felt that even the slightest flick would probably make it fall apart and crumble it was not held together very firmly at all. Saigoto sighed and released the rock watching as it fell to the ground. It shattered but not as badly as he thought it would. There were many decent sized rocks around where it had made impact which showed saigoto was making an improvement. however he didn't know just how much. His goal was to make a rock at least 15 feet in diameter. However at this rate it seemed damn near impossible.

He kicked his feet at the small rocks kicking them away from him so that Saigoto would have a clean area to work. He was sick of moving around so much. He sighed as he began forming the hand seals and then it his him. He should try to just make shapes of things with the rock first. At smaller sizes. Then work at making them bigger and Bigger. That way he could get the chakra control he needed and the hardness he desired.

A smile on his face Saigoto placed his hands on the ground releasing the chakra. The first thing he would attempt to make was something simple. A foot long kunai Knife. Should be easy enough. His chakra flowed into the ground. Gathering the materials he needed. Then As he began to lift his hands from the ground was looked to be the handle of a kunai rose with it. Saigoto continued pushing with his chakra forming what he wanted. Soon after he had the full handle of what looked to be a regular kunai knife just much larger. All he would need to do now is keep it going and make it bigger to form the blade. He wasn't actually trying to make a weapon he knew there would be actually jutsu for that but this was just a way of training for him.

It was coming along nicely soon after Saigoto had lifted his hand a total of one foot into the air. The Kunai was complete and began to fall to one side. Saigotos mind raced. Please do not break he thought as the kunai slammed into the ground with a thud and alas the kunai didn't break. Just to test its durability Saigoto lifted his foot and slammed it down onto the rock as hard as he could. The rock didn't break and he was now proud of his work.

However his training was far from over. This time he would attempt to do something a little larger and a little more trickier then a kunai. He planned on making a statue that was about half his size. He didn't plan on making it in full detail such as facial features and what not. Just wanted to make a mannequin type thing made of rock. It sounded nice and he shouldn't have to much of a problem making it. However he was going to try and make the rock rise out of the ground without him having to lift it physically himself this time.

As he began the hand seals he built the image in his head of what this rock would look like. It would be approximately two and a half feet tall and would resemble a heroic pose. Saigoto laughed at the thought. He could just see Kysuugi taking the pose in his head after he took down something about as deadly as a squirrel. That made Saigoto laugh. He placed his hands on the ground and began to release a steady flow of chakra. The chakra would flow around gathering a huge amount of resources it would be vital in making something of this size. But Saigoto was okay with that it should work out just fine.

As the chakra did what it was suppose to and began forming a rock Saigoto began to give it a shape as it rose from the ground. The head was the first thing to appear and seemed to come out just fine. No serious dents or damage to it that one could see but hopefully it wouldn't fall apart to easily. The Statues Shoulders soon arose and still no apparent damage or weakness showing at all. Saigoto wondered if he was starting to become really good at this.

As the Statue rose it was about at the waist now. Now would come the tricky part. He would have to make the legs. They would have to support everything of the statue that he had made so far and hopefully it wouldn't fall. Saigoto decided to slow down considerably at this point taking his time. He had hoped for the best however he didn't know just how well that would be. The jutsu would hopefully work nicely and the legs wouldnt shatter or break just as he was about to finish.

As the statue reached its peak Saigoto stood up. Taking a step back to view the heroic pose the statue in front of him now had. He still had to work on making something much larger if he wanted to get better at this. He sighed as he decided to take a quick breather this had taken alot out of him.

As he sat there trying to take a small break from training he thought about what he has done so far and what he has accomplished. So far it seems to him like its been a whole lot of nothing. He had trained himself from time to time but still seems to have nothing in the way on ninjutsu. he has the starters for a bunch of his releases but nothing solid as of yet. Soon he would need to begin to focus on actually learning techniques that would be of great use to him and not just the basics of said techniques. however he would need to finish this technique. With little effort he rose to his feet wiping the dust from his knees he looked at the statue. He was surprised it was still standing in all honesty. He was moving along quite proficiently and with a decent speed.

Saigoto was ready now taking in a deep breath he smiled. He began forming hand seals as he thought back to his previous training. this time he was going to go for a statue that was just his size. This time however he wasn't going for anything in specific along the lines of looks he just wanted to see if he could make a general human shaped stone about the size of a human. After finishing the small chain of hand seals he knelt down once more placing his hands on the ground. Smiling as he released a large amount of chakra from his body. The chakra would flow around doing what it did best in aiding him in doing what he wanted. After a short time of waiting for the chakra to gather up what minerals it could Saigoto looked up and then looked back down. this might be a little more challenging then he had thought.

The Rock had all ready began to emerge from the ground slowly but surely you could see a small round shape emerging about the size of saigotos head. He was glad it looked like he was at least getting the proportions right. It wouldn't be to much longer till he had to get the torso coming up. As the narrow neck of the statue began to rise up from the ground behind the head of the statue Saigoto began to expand the rock outwards attempting to widen the stone to make for the shoulders. As the shoulders rose above the ground Saigoto took a deep breath. "So much chakra and there's still so much to go." He could tell this was taking a toll on his body he had been training for a very long time now. All day it had seemed and night was still far from being here.

As a minute or two passed by Saigoto was about at the belly botton part of his statue. It was coming along just fine the stone working its way up just like Saigoto had wanted it to. He enjoyed watching his work come together. In fact he was liking the idea of creating something from his mind and molding it. If he wanted he could modify the statue however he wanted adding or taking away anything he wanted. As his mind drifted off he was rewarded with a loud crack as the statue suddenly fell over smashing onto the ground right before Saigotos feet. He jumped back a little shocked by what had just happened. It seemed that letting his attention wander from the task at hand was not the right thing to be doing now as failure full heartedly walked in and slapped him in the face.

Saigoto sighed. He was quite upset with this recent failure and after he had been doing so well. Seemed like nothing could be done about it now. He simple moved to a new spot and began forming the hand seals once more. He thought for sure he had the hang of it though and this time was going to try for speed. As long as he kept his full attention on the statue he should be able to produce it quickly and make it just right at the right strength and size. He began by performing the hand seals and looking down at the ground. Determination in his eyes as he knelt again placing his hands ever so softly on the ground. As the chakra flowed from his hands into the ground. Saigoto grinned. He was going to do this now.

The chakra swirled around in the earth quickly. Within a matter of seconds the chakra had gathered what materials he needed and began forming the rock the statue rising from the ground quickly and forcefully. In a matter of seconds for what before took him only to complete the head he was all ready at the waist of this statue. A grin on His face he knew the hardest part was to come as the statue continued to grow at a steady pace. The legs were coming though and he knew it would be harder then all the rest finding just the right spot for the them to be spread the right thickness and strong enough to support it all.

The two pillars rose from the ground that would be the legs lifting the head of the statue above the now kneeling Saigoto. He smiled as the statue reached its full height. Saigoto sighed as the statue stood tally and firmly. There wasn't really a whole lot for him to do now. He was worn out exhausted and for a lack of better words dead ass tired. Laying down on the ground where he was he looked up at the sun in the sky turning his back to it he closed his eyes. Almost instantly falling asleep.

Day 1 of search for the Death Scythe Dojo

Saigoto awoke to what he thought was the next morning of a man making some grunting noises. As Saigoto rolled over his eyes adjusted and he began to rub them. There was a man standing with a Scythe and he was swinging it in quite a skilled manor. Saigoto began to stand. As he did the man stopped and looked at Saigoto. Then continued on with what Saigoto was expecting to be his morning exercises. Saigoto stretched as he stood and continued to watch the man. He was really well skilled with a sycthe and Saigoto wondered if maybe there was a dojo or something around here. Saigoto began to walk towards the man. The closer he got a little more anxious he got. As he got about 10 feet from the man the man turned swirling the scythe around in the air and stopping putting the blade behind saigotos head. Saigoto froze.

"Speak" the man said in a cold voice.

"Well I just noticed that you were skilled with a scythe and was curious as to if you could teach me or if you knew someone that could." Saigoto spoke quickly because the longer he spoke the more he could feel the metal of the blade on his neck.

"You wanna learn" the man said looking Saigoto over and removing the scythe from his neck. "You don't have what it takes. Come back when your older."

This bothered Saigoto. Saigoto instantly reached for the scythe on his back. He may not be the best at wielding a scythe but damn it all he was not going to take this sitting down.

The man eyed Saigoto. "You know what if you really want to learn find my dojo. I will even give you a hint kid. You will need to swim to the deepest part of the center of the ocean around here. You will need to swim to the bottom holding a cup of tea in your mouth. Once you release the Tea at the bottom if you are at the right spot a door will appear for you. If not better hope you dont drown." The man said. Going back to his exercises. Saigoto Didnt like the sound of that but was ready to do it. He had always wanted to learn how to wield his scythe and this looked like his best chance at doing so.

Saigoto ran into town a look of determination on his face and the money in his pocket suddenly burning a hole to buy some Tea. It his him as he ran to town. He had no idea where the center part of the ocean was around here. Half tempted to go back and ask the man. However Saigoto thought he probably wouldn't tell him.

As Saigoto reached the first tea shop he could fine he quickly ordered a cup of hot tea. While he was waiting for it to be made he found that the store also sold ingrediants to make your own. So Saigoto wouldnt have to run back and forth once he found the spot. He could keep trying and just heat up his own tea.

As he waited and bought the tea ingrediants he looked at the man. "ummmm you wouldnt happen to know where the center part of the ocean is around here would you?" Saigoto asked afraid to find the question.

"No but you should ask around the piers im sure they could tell you." The man said handing Saigoto his tea.

"Thank you sir" Saigoto said as he turned around and began heading for the docks. A cup of tea in his hand and ingrediants to make more in his pockets.

Upon arrival at the docks Saigoto immediatly began asking around for if someone could point him to the center of the ocean around here and about how far out it was. One of the dock hands said he could take Saigoto for 500 Ryo. But Saigoto didnt want to ride. When he got his directions he planned to set out walking accross the water in the direction he was pointed to. He was told that when he could only barely see this island and the mainland he would be about there.

The day was getting late though. As for now saigoto decided to wait and try tomorrow.

Day 2 of Search.

As Saigoto woke he immediately began headed towards the piers. He wanted to waste no time today considering today would probably be an all day event. As he began his journey across the surface of the water the sailors looked at him with disbelief. Like they couldn't believe he was walking across water.

Saigoto walked and walked for quite some time. Still not able to see the mainland. He wondered if he was headed in the right direction. Maybe the sailor had lied to him sense he turned down the boat ride. He certainly hoped not.

After a short while more of walking about a few hours worth Saigoto finally could see the main land. Turning behind him he could see the island behind him to just barely. He pulled out the cup from yesterday and the ingredients to make more tea. He was kind of mad that he wasted his money yesterday to get fresh tea and then he decided not to use it. But at least he had the ingredients and a means to make them. Hopefully when the ingredients got soggy with sea water they wouldn't taste to bad. He didn't plan on actually drinking it but he could still imagine it tasting terrible. Plus he would have to warm them up with salt water anyways.

As he heated up the tea useing his fire flower of evolution jutsu as a fire for it. He prepared himself. Taking in a deep breath he downed as much tea into his mouth as he could and quickly released his water walking jutsu. As soon as he did he imediatly dived and began to swim downwards. He swam quickly and with a speed he never knew he had. It wasnt long until he could feel himself wanting to gasp for air. He didnt like this feeling. He quickly began to feel the affects of it. However just as he felt like he would have to turn around and head for the surface he found he had hit the bottom.

Quickly spitting out the Tea he waited for two seconds. Nothing happened. He placed his feet on the ground and shoved as hard as he could swiming as fast as he could hoping to reach the surface. His lungs hurt and he could feel himself starting to swallow a little water. He could see the light of the surface and in a matter of seconds he was pulling himself ontop of the water with his water walking jutsu gasping for breath rolling over on his back. That sucked. It took alot out of him. He would have to give himself atleast a few minutes before trying again. After what felt like forever Saigoto finally felt ready to try again.

Pulling the cup and the ingredients out from his bag he began to create some more tea. This time he would secure all the ingredients and the cup to his side. Once that was done he would quickly take a deep breath drink the tea and dive. As he swam however something felt different. He swam quicker and quicker almost panicking. He didnt take a deep enough breath. Just a little further he thought as he thought he was close to the bottom. And just then is when it happened. He gasped for breath losing the tea once he opened his mouth and his body twisted and turned as he tried to keep it in. The ingredients and cub swung off his body as he did this. He quickly began swimming towards the top. Now tomorrow he would have to try again. He thought as he swam. Reaching the top gasping for air like he had never breathed in his life. he would pull himself up and slowly start walking back towards the island.

Day 3 of search.

Day Three and Saigoto had still yet to find the dojo that the man spoke of that wielded the scythe. come to think of it Saigoto forgot to even get the mans name. Saigoto fretted over this as he walked through town. he wondered if maybe the man lied to Saigoto and was just trying to get him killed. however Saigoto didnt want to think of it that way. Saigoto stopped by at the store and bought a new cup and some more ingredients to make tea. he hoped he wouldnt lose it this time. He headed back out accross the ocean. He would reach his destination in no time the spot where he could see both land masses at the same time and looked down.

Preparing his cup of tea just like he had the day before. He took his breath in and immediately dove down into the water. He swam quickly but not in so much of a hurry to lose concentration he decided to use as much effort as possible without over exerting himself to the point that he would lose his breath. It wasnt long after swiming that he reached the bottom of the water. He immediatly released his held mouth of tea. Hoping. The tea swirled around in the water until finnaly he saw it. A door appeared. Freaking he quickly grabbed the handle and flung himself inside the door. The door closed behind him and immediately behind him the door disappeared and a huge pile of bones appeared. Saigoto jumped at first. He had never seen remains of a human before.

He then turned to see another large metal door infront of him with six skulls. saigoto walked forward attempting to push on the door to open it however it didnt open. Seriously. Saigoto thought. I get all the way down here and now theres another trick I have to do to get the door open. Saigoto didnt seem to think he had the physical or the ninjutsu power to tear the door open. He sat there thinking for a little bit.
"I wish permission to enter" he said out loud. With no response he continued to bang on the door yelling. "Hello anyone in there im here for training" No response still. Saigoto sat down and began to think. Wondering what he would have to do to get inside.

After some time of thinking and trying a few more times to knock with no answer Saigoto decided to call it a day. After exiting through the first door he came threw on the other side of the pile of bones he decided to try and find the man that had told him of the dojo and see if he could tell him how to get inside from there.

Day 4 of search.

Saigoto awoke early in the morning headed out to the training spot he was useing a few days ago in an attempt to find the man who had told him of the dojo once more. Maybe he could get a few answers out of him. Saigoto sat in a tree waiting for the man to hopefully appear. In his spare time Saigoto would contemplate a few things over in his head while sharpening a kunai that he had pulled out of his bag.

After about an hour of waiting the man appeared. He was wearing no shirt and he wielded his scythe once more. Saigoto put his kunai away and reached for the scythe on his back. Saigoto prepared himself and then jumped. Leaping high in the air towards the man. His scythe drawn. As he was about to come down he prepared to swing with his scythe. The mans scythe twirled and the but end of the scythe came rearing up towards saigoto landing square in his gut knocking the wind out of him.

Saigoto landed on the ground with a thud dropping his scythe also. The man walked over and placed the plade directly over Saigotos neck.

"your the kid from the other day" he said drawing his scythe back. "Did you think attacking me would make me tell you the location of the dojo." Saigoto stood up. Coughing as he did.

"No" he said taking in a deep breath. "I found your dojo I just need to know how to get in threw the door with the 6 skulls." A smirk on his face. "After a while i thought you were just trying to get me killed but I found your dojo now tell me how to get in" Saigoto said a clinched fist trembling at his side. There would be no way he would be able to kill this man or even fight with him. He was just to fast.

The man would grin. "You need in threw that door huh. Well theres only one way to get in threw there. The only way I will tell you is if you punch me square in the face right here and right now. Saigoto didnt need anything more then that. His fist drew back and he punched the man square in the jaw as hard as he could. The man grinned. "Reaper" was all he said as he twirled his scythe around slamming the butt end directly into the side of Saigotos head.

Day 5 of search

Saigoto would wake up the next day under a tree. The man must have hit him pretty damn hard if he had slept for the entire day. That or he had a concusion. Either way Saigoto stood up and headed towards the pier ready to go back to the dojo. "Reaper" Saigoto Said not sure what he meant. "A password maybe." he said to himself. After a quick stop in town to buy some tea he was out across the ocean. Once he had reached the spot he was at before he did the same thing as always placeing the tea in his mouth and swam down. He reached the bottom a lot faster then he expected releasing the tea the door appeared. Once inside he was faced with the same metal door.

"So all I have to do is say the password I guess" Saigoto said walking up to the door placing a hand on it. "reaper" he said then pushing with his hand. Nothing happened the door didn't even budge. He looked at the door with the six skulls pondering over what it could mean. He thought about it for a few seconds. Looking the door over thats when it his him. "reaper is a six letter word and there are six skulls." With the sudden realization he turned around. The pile of bones made sense now. Grabbing a giant handfull of bones he placed them in his arms and walked to the door begining to spell the word out infront of the skulls.

Not to long after he completed spelling the word out the doors opened. And there stood the man from the field with his scythe.

Kamashi Basic Stance

Effect: Allows the user to perform the basic techniques of the Kamashi Style, without it, the user could hurt himself.

Description: The Kamashi Stance is a balanced stance, with equal strength in offense and defense. The user of the style places his scythe with one end on the ground at a 30 degree angle across his body, directly in front of himself, blade facing the target. With the sickles, the user face the sickles in an "x" form in front of them in a 30 degree angle making it a good defense style and offense protection.
Limit: Must learn from a master of the Kamashi Fighting Style.

"So i see you figured it out" The man said drawing his scythe and putting it between him and Saigoto. "Are you ready to learn because I'm not about to take it easy on you. i don't get many pupils because I scare them all away. Hopefully your different."

Saigoto nodded he knew he was different and that there was no way he would run away now.

"Then do as I do and dont screw it up" He said as they walked threw the doors into what looked to be a large sparing area. Saigoto was amazed that all this was underwater. It must have been some sort of undergroud cave or something. Saigoto had no idea how something like this could be underground.

The man suddenly took up a stance. Saigoto looked the man over and tried to mimic him. "Your doing it all wrong" The man said as he walked over and kicked saigotos feet. Saigoto hadnt even gotten to draw his scythe yet and here the man was allready kicking him to the ground. "Next time I kick higher" he said as Saigoto drew his scythe and tried to put his feet in a better postion. Stareing the man down. He was going to do this no matter how mean and cruel this man seemed to be. Saigoto wasnt sure exactly what he was doing wrong but the man came over and kicked him higher up on the leg. "I warned you" the man said. "Get it right".

Saigoto sighed. Why was this so hard. This was nothing he should be able to get this down no problem absolutely no problems. But then again he had never had any kind of martial arts training. So how was he suppose to know how good he was. He mauled the idea over in his head and watched the man as he assumed the stance once more. Saigoto placed his feet about shoulder width apart. He should be able to do this. He hoped he could. The man moved but he didn't come any closer to Saigoto. The man smilled. "there you go now place the stythe like this dont place it to high or to low. Put it to far in either direction and I will strike you." He said.

Saigoto watched. He didnt really want to be struck with the scythe but at the same time he would try to dodge this time if he did strike him. Saigoto looked he was holding the scythe at an angle. Saigoto placed the butt end of his scythe on the ground and placed it at about an angle he thought was parallel to the mans. "Wrong" he yelled which surprised Saigoto and the butt end of the staff slammed into his shoulder. Saigoto grunted and stumbled a little bit to the side. He wasnt going to give up no matter what this man did to him.

Saigoto Spread his feet apart again to about shoulder width. He still wasn't sure if this was exactly right but judging by the fact that he had not been struck yet by him then Saigoto thought he was just find. He would have to keep trying though. He placed the Scythe at an angle. Before the man could move Saigoto adjusted himself. This seemed to be about right in saigotos book but he wasnt sure. The man looked at Saigoto. A hint of satisfaction in his eye. "Good now let me explain to you about this stance a little."

"First of all this stance will be your basic stance. From here you will learn a few basic techniques. You will train here until I am satisfied or until I have no more to teach you. Whichever comes first." The man said this as he circled Saigoto. The stance was kinda uncomfortable and it didn't help he had a man circling him that was known for striking him. Saigoto flinched when he heard the man stop. "This stance is good for offensive and defensive maneuvers. It will serve you well in most situations. looking at you i can tell you don't have much combat experience. So for now this Technique will be all you learn until you learn to use it perfectly."

The mans foot came out and connected with the back of Saigotos knee which made him kneel to the ground. The man then walked infront of him. "Oh and by the way you will call me master kojiki" Saigoto grimiced. He didnt like the idea of calling anyone master but he knew he would have to if he wanted to go through learning these techniques.

"I understand Master Kojiki" Saigoto said as the man looked down at Saigoto. Saigoto stared back holding his postion. He didnt want to be hit again for moving out of his stance. This guy seemed like just the sort of person to do something like that. Saigoto sighed as the man moved beside Saigoto assuming the same exact stance. He looked over at Saigoto. "So the first technique you will learn is called Reaper" Saigoto watched as the man began to go through the basic movements of the technique.

The man took a step forward swinging the scythe high into the air. As the blade came down he would pull it back at the same time making a slicing motion with the blade. Had someone been standing there they defiantly would have lost a limb if not their head. Then Kojiki assumed the stance once more. Looking at Saigoto he would perform it once more. However he would do it much slower. That way Saigoto could watch and catch onto everything.

The man would take a step forward. Positioning his hands about three feet away from each other. One about half way up the staff of his scythe the other towards the bottom. As the man then slowly began his swing. The blade would rise high above his head his shoulders ever moving forward with the rest of his body pivoting on his feet. The blade would then begin its decent. As the blade moved downwards he would pull back with the hand furthest away from the blade. The blade would then begin to move towards Kojiki. His forward most hand gripped the handle of the Scythe harder this time. As to prevent it from cutting himself. Saigoto sat there in amazement.

The master took up his stance and then once more performed the technique at a lightning fast pace. Saigoto was shocked he couldn't imagine himself useing a scythe at such speed. The man grinned and looked at Saigoto. "This is only one of our weakest techniques I want you to try it now" Saigoto was shocked. One of the weakest techniques. He couldnt imagine what some of the stronger ones looked like. Saigoto moved for the first time sense he had placed himself in this stance. Shifting his weight to move the scythe to the starting postion of the technique. He wasnt sure if he was doing it right. He couldnt imagine there being to many ways to hold a scythe for just a simple downward slash.

He positioned his hands in hopefully just the same postion as the master had. Ugh he still hated thinking like that. But he really had no other choice. Once he thought his hands were in the right placement he would begin stepping forward. He tried to adjust his step to his size considering he was much smaller then the master was. He hoped he would be able to do this and if not he might be getting hit. As soon as he took a step forward something slammed into his back knocking him over. "Your hands are to far apart and that step god are you a toddler that step was so tiny"

Saigoto sighed. He was really getting annoyed with the whole being hit thing every time he screwed up. He glared at the master who glared back. "Dont expect me to go easy on you just because your a kid. You came here on your own free will." He was right Saigoto wanted to learn this. He had to to become a better asset to the village. He took up his basic stance once more. His feet shoulder length apart. The but end of his scythe resting on the ground at an angle diagonal to his body. He Suddenly spread his grip out along the handle of the scythe and took a step forward this time taking a bigger step then before. Apparently he didnt get his so he thought he was doing good so far. The master didnt say or do anything except continue to watch.

Saigoto wasnt expecting that. He took up his basic stance again. Now that he had the step and the spreading of the hands down all he should have to do now is go through with the strike right. He Spread his hands and took his step forward begining the swing. Just as the blade reached its zenith point he felt a rod slam into his chest. The master had struck him again. "First of all pay attention second of all your swing is way to far to the side are you just trying to give your opponent an opening." Saigoto grunted as the pain set in.

Taking a few steps back he coughed. That one really hurt. This guy had to be hella strong for something like that to hurt that much. Saigoto couldn't believe he actually thought to fight someone like him. Saigoto shook the idea from his head. He needed to stop worrying about other things and focus on the task at hand. He would stand up straight spread his feet and takeing his stance he would go through with the new technique. He spread his arms to the right distance took his step forward and started his swing. He pulled the blade in a little this time as it reached its zenith point but not to far. He would make another opening if he did that. When the blade came down it continued goings and slammed right into the wooden floor cutting into it.

Saigoto looked up knowing he was going to be hit. So before he could he tried to rip his scythe out of the ground until a foot connected with his back sending Saigoto flying and sliding across the ground. "What the hell do you think your doing fucking up my floor like that huh" He said as he ripped saigotos scythe from the ground. Saigoto prepared himself to do some hand seals. If this man was going to try to kill him he would defend himself. This guy may think him some worthless punk but Saigoto knew better. The man held out Saigotos scythe waiting for him to grab it from him. Saigoto stood up slowly never taking his eyes of the master walked over and grabbed the scythe firmly.

"Keep a tight grip on the handle and dont forget to pull back with your back hand to give the blade a tug against the extremity of the person your fighting. With enough force you will tear it clear off." He practically yelled this but he seemed to be getting excited. Especially over the part about ripping peoples body parts off. This somewhat scared Saigoto. But what could be expected from a master of a style called the death scythe. Saigoto couldn't help but fear for his life at least a little now. "This will be your last time get the technique right now or else im seriously going to hurt you."

Saigoto grimiced he was afraid if those hits from before were just minor hits what would something serious be. Saigoto took up his stance quickly and firmly. Ready to perform the technique. This would be the last time he would try it and like the master said this time he would get it right. Spreading his feet he hoped for the best. His right hand slid down the base of the staff and he swirled the blade around high into the air as he took his step forward. Just as the blade was half way through its decent his back hand ripped backwards ripping the blade towards him with its downward decent.

Tightening the main hand that was on the scythe handle. He managed to stop the scythes movements about four inches away from taking away his hand with the blade. The master looked pleased with his progress. However Saigoto thought there was a sign of something more in his eyes like he wasnt happy with something or like he had more for Saigoto to learn Right now.

"Allright runt time to learn how to follow up a failed attack". He said with the same look on his face when Saigoto learned the last technique. The look was that of amusement. He looked at saigoto ready to share his knowledge. Saigoto just hoped that he wouldn't be struck again. He was standing there in his stance waiting for his master to continue. "I am going to attack you slowly I want you to dodge or block it I dont care which one you do." Saigoto prepared himself. He didnt like the idea of this guy attacking him with any amount of strength. honestly he looks like the kind of person to never hold back. Saigoto didnt like that. Saigoto took his stance preparing to dodge. As he did his master seemed to take on a more advanced stance. there seemed to be little to no openings on his body. Saigoto didnt like that he planned on attacking back as his masters attack missed.

His master suddenly twitched his arm his attack coming from above. Saigoto side stepped to the right and watched as the blade nearly struck into the ground. However as Saigoto moved his scythe preparing to attack back suddenly he watched as the blade disappeared and suddenly a sharp pain was felt in his stomach. The but end of the scythe had been flipped around his masters arm striking Saigotos in the stomach. Saigoto was taken aback by this. He wasnt expecting to be hit at all. Especially sense he had dodged. Falling to the ground on his knees his master laughed. "I saw you trying to attack me. Like I said this is a move to follow up a failed strike. AS your attack misses or blocked you will push down with your back hand hard and release with your forward hand effectively swinging the Scythe around your arm allowing for the back end to rear up slamming into your opponent. This is most effective with a double bladed scythe but your nowhere near ready for those yet." His master laughed. Saigoto stood up. Strugling a little as he did.

"Now you try" he said moving out of the way. Saigoto assumed his stance prepareing to use the only technique he knew. As he came down he stopped the scythe part way down and released his forward hand. Pushing down with his back hand however he just pushed the scythe into the ground. The scythe clattered as it jumbled around. Saigoto looked down at the ground he knew what this meant. A swift kick to his gut sent him knocked to the ground gasping for breath again. His master with a stern voice loomed down at Saigoto. "Don't you ever drop your scythe." He said as Saigoto looked up at him still trying to recover from the last kick. Slowly making his way back to his feet the master spoke again. "Now try again." Saigoto wasn't one for constructive criticism but at the same time he wasnt one for being kicked every time he screwed up either.

As Saigoto finally made it back to his feet the master glared at him holding out Saigotos scythe. He was upset that Saigoto had dropped it. Saigoto reached out grabbed the scythe firmly and looked at his master. "Now" he yelled as Saigoto took up his stance. He prepared himself. This time he wasn't going to drop the scythe. He started with his normal swing coming down from above and stopping just as he finished his swing. He released with his forward hand sliding his arm out to give the scythe a balancing point to rotate on. Pushing down with his back hand slowly the butt end would slowly fall down and rise back up to about chest level. "Thats the right motion however your going to slow. Try again but thrust a little more when moving your back hand down" Saigoto straitened up and did as he was told he would try the technique one more time. Hoping this time he would get it right for fear of being kicked.

Saigoto took up his stance placing his feet shoulder length apart. He started his attack like any other time and prepared himself. This time he would get the technique just right he would get it done perfectly. He would start with the basic reaper technique that he had all ready learned as the Scythe blade fell down he would wait just as he came to the right spot he would release his grip sliding his hand out using his arm as a pivot point for the scythe. As he did this he would push down very forcefully with his scythe. The back end of the scythe would glide threw the air scrapping against the ground and making a loud sound as it did that. The back end however would rise up and come to about chest level. Saigoto cursed himself. He knew he would probly be kicked again.

Instead of a kick a loud thud noise could be heard as Saigoto felt pain in his back. The masters hand slapping hard into his back. Saigoto flinched it stung. "Not bad. Not bad." The master said. "Next time dont drag the butt end across the floor and you will have this technique down. I want you to try it one more time" Saigoto sighed. He knew he screwed up dragging it against the floor like that but still it wasn't THAT bad was it. However, at least the most his master did this time was slap him in the back and not kick him in the back. Or worse kick him in the face. Saigoto couldnt think of how much that would hurt. Saigoto mulled over the technique in his head. He had it down he just had to position his arm high enough and make sure to swing the back end with enough force. He could manage that he knew he would but it would prove difficult but at the same time he knew the technique would prove beneficial.

Saigoto hoped this would be the last time he would have to try. If not he didnt know if he would get this technique down or if he could handle being struck again. It would drive him nuts to be hit again and again. Yet here he was. He took up his stance and prepared for the technique. With the blade rising high in the air and then falling as he continued on with the swing he stoped. He rose his forward most hand about three inches releaseing the handle and sliding his hand out. From there his back hand would push hard swinging the scythe around his arm. Saigoto waited for the sound of the metal scraping against the wooden floor. However it never happened and Saigoto had instead watched as the scythe rotated around his arm twice then fell to the floor. Saigoto flinched waiting for what he knew would come.

Instead of being hit and hearing the noise of a loud thud from him hiting the floor Saigoto instead heard the sound of a clap. Saigoto looked at his master slowly afraid that this was just a way of getting Saigoto to drop his guard. Saigoto was wary he knew this wasnt going to end well. "Any other time you used that technique it would have struck the opponent."As he said this saigoto could tell there was hesitation in his voice. "However I did also tell you not to drop your scythe Sooooooooo"

Saigoto would watch as his masters foot would rise swiftly extending outwards landing directly into the chest of Saigoto. This kick easily knocked the wind out of him sending Saigoto to the floor wishing he had never dropped his scythe. That kick really hurt and he felt like he would never breath again. Struggling to get up his master laughed at him. "I want you to drop your scythe one more time and i mean t I really want you to" Saigoto sighed. This was going to become irritating. Saigoto could not wait for the time where he would be able to strike his master back. He hoped it would be soon cause he didnt know how much more of being hit he could take. He stood up slowly preparing himself for whatever came next. His master looked at him sternly.

"Well your a ninja right so i want you to attack me with some sort of jutsu" Saigoto looked amazed that the man wanted him to. Even more so that he expected Saigoto to be able to perform jutsus. "well don't just sit there attack me with anything you want kunai jutsu shuriken whatever you want." Saigoto hesitated but none the less he prepared himself. He began performing a flurry of hand seals to perform the only offensive jutsu he knew. Kneeling down he slammed his hands on the ground. Many tiny pebbles began to form on the ground launching at the master. Saigoto watched as a few pebbles were going to strike him in the head. To late now though he asked Saigoto to attack him. The master didn't even flinch he held out his scythe in a weird manner that he had never seen before. Suddenly as he did it the scythe began to twirl throughout the air. Saigoto watched as it picked up speed creating almost a barrier between the two of them stopping the pebbles dead in their tracks.

However if he thought that was all Saigoto had he was strongly mistaken. Saigoto reached into his pouch pulling out several kunai three to be exact. He would throw all three of them at his master. He would throw all three at different angles with curves on them as to collide inward in a triangle formation. As Saigoto watched the kunai fly threw the air he watched as again his master held his hands out in a weird formation holding the scythe awkwardly and then suddenly the scythe broke out into a strong twirl. Swirling threw out the air and striking each of the kunai out of the air.

Saigoto Stood their stunned. His only chance to attack his master and his master blocked all of them. Saigoto sighed. He would never get to get payback on this guy at this rate. That bugged the Hell out of Saigoto and he wanted nothing more then to slug this guy. "Pay attention" His master yelled ripping saigoto back to the real world out of his thoughts. "Watch and learn how to perform this technique. It might one day save your life you understand." Saigoto nodded and watched as his master out stretched his hands scythe in between both of them. His hands were close together. Both hands would be doing a twisting motion constantly twisting. As one hand let go the other hand would grab and twist in the same direction while the hand that just let go would twist in the reverse direction to grab the scythe handle once more. Repeating the process all over again. The scythe would gradually pick up speed using the heavier weight at one end to gain momentum and then the masters hands would guide it making sure it wouldnt fall to the ground or out of place.

The over all process was quite cool to watch and Saigoto watched as the master slowed it down removing the scythe to show him the exact process of what to do. "Basically spread your feet about shoulder width apart to get the best footing for this technique." The master demonstrated by spreading his feet to the approximate length that was required for him to show Saigoto. Saigoto watched and did the same thing. Placing his feet just a little wider then shoulder length. "Next your going to hold the scythe out only with one hand. The back of your free hand is going to rest against the handle of your scythe." Saigoto held his hands out in much the same way. However his hands must have been wrong because his masters face twitched like he was irritated. Saigoto looked closer and saw that one had was slightly to the left of the other. Saigoto quickly corrected himself.

The master continued on with his explanation rotating his wrist. Saigoto watched in awe as the masters hands continually flipped in a almost perfect formation. One hand flipping back just as the other one flipped forward. Saigoto listened as his master talked. "Imagine you have two wrist watches on both hands. You are basically continuously flipping your hands around to check the other watch but you must first hide the other watch by flipping your wrist back. I want you to try this now" Saigoto nodded and began flipping his hands around. At first it felt awkward and he didn't quite have the feeling that this was the right way to be doing it. A grunting noise from his master had let Saigoto know he was doing it wrong.

Saigoto continued flipping his wrist around until his wrist started to get sore. Looking at his master who was staring off into space without a care in the world. Saigoto was glad he wasnt striking him for not getting this motion right away. Saigoto sighed. It was quite annoying. After a few more tries he felt like he had the motion down perfectly. He looked up at his master and said something simple. "Like this master" Saigoto asked as he continued on with the motion. The master came back to reality stareing at Saigotos hands as he twisted each one in the motion he was suppose to for the technique. "Thats good" His master said in a stern voice grabbing Saigotos scythe and putting it into his hand. "Now do it with the scythe."

Saigoto gripped the scythe tightly. He didn't think he would be able to do it with the scythe. The scythe weighted quite a bit and would probably slow down the motion of his hands twisting restraining him to do it as fast. However the master was all ready ahead of him. "Dont worry about twisting it yourself. After the first few rotations the weight of the scythe will pick up and give you all the momentum you need. At that point you will be struggling just to keep your hands moving with the scythe." His face suddenly got very stern. "DO NOT DROP IT THOUGH" he said in a very demanding voice almost as if he was telling Saigoto that if he dropped it Saigoto would lose his life. Saigoto gripped the scythe firmly unwilling to even think about dropping it.

Saigoto started the basic motions. Preparing himself for this. He did not wish to drop the scythe but if it happened he would have to deal with the consequences. Even if that meant fighting the Master. As much as he didnt want to. Saigoto held his arms out placing his feet apart. The scythe clinched tight almost to the point where Saigoto felt he would damage the metal the staff was made out of if he squeezed any harder. His hand began the motions. He was right rotating his hands in this way was alot more difficult with the scythe in hand. The scythe began its first decent. As it reached the bottom of creating a circle in front of him saigotos other hand grabbed the handle and kept it moving with greater ease due to its momentum it now had. As the scythe reached the top of the circle his other hand would grab it again continuing the circle.

After about four full circles the scythe was spinning very fast now. Saigoto had the feel like he could do this all day. His hands were twisting as fast as he can. This technique didn't seem all that hard. However he would probably have to put some kind of decent amount of force behind it if he wanted to block something serious. "Not bad" the master said as he picked up his scythe staring at Saigoto. "Want to test its worthiness yet?" Saigoto thought for a moment about this. Where as he felt he had the technique down he wasnt quite sure if he wanted to test it out especially against the master just yet. Saigoto shook his head to the left and then to the right. Losing his concentration for a second the circle slowed down and he stumbled forward to keep a good hold on the scythe. He sighed that was a very close call. He was sure he had seen his miserable life flash before his eyes there for a second.

The master would grin a devilish smile gripping his scythe tighter holding it in front of him at a weird angle and taking a stance Saigoto had never seen before. "Well thats just to bad better get ready to see if you can block something because here I come" the master said this as he ran at Saigoto in a dead sprint. "Reaper" The master yelled out as his scythe would begin its decent towards Saigotos head. Saigoto would tilt his wrist slightly leaning the circle upwards towards the down falling blade. The circular rotaion of the scythe would stop the attack dead in its tracks making it bounce backwards. The master would continue as Saigoto's defense slowed down. "Heart Rip" he would say. Saigoto hadnt seen this one yet but watched the blade and followed its movements.

As the blade went towards Saigotos heart he quickly started up the rotation of his scythe. As soon as the attack colided with his defense Saigoto stoped the rotation gripping the scythe with both ahnds and flung the butt end of the scythe around the back of his arm sending it hurling upwards striking the master in the chin launching him into the air. "Bone finger" Saigoto said as the attack knocked his master back a few steps. The master was pissed but saigoto was so excited. He not only stopped an attack he also struck the master. That was a good lesson for Saigoto.

"Allright runt you got lucky that time i will let you have that victory" He said as he walked up beside Saigoto. Saigoto was standing ready for a kick or punch or for the masters scythe to come twirling threw the air and strike Saigoto. However it never came. The master just took up the stance that Saigoto knew. "the next move your going to learn is one much like the one you last learned except this one is used to attack" The master took his stance and held the scythe to his right with both hands. He would then begin rotating the staff around and round to start giving it momentum much like with the defensive jutsu he had just taught him however Saigoto could tell this one would be different simply due to the fact that it was to the left or right side. Plus it was an offensive technique. The masters scythe began to pick up a great deal of speed twirling threw the air. The master began to move his arms around the air. Bout hands always stay the same distance apart to keep the staff moving.

His arms moved the scythe from the right side of his body all the way to the left and back again. Saigoto was amazed to watch him handle the scythe with such control and moving it at such a fast pace. At the same time he had not hit himself with it. Saigoto was quite afraid of hitting himself with the scythe and hoped that he would not be doing that. But if it happened it would be a good learning experience if anything. Saigoto watched then as his master began walking with the scythe still twirling throughout the air. It was cool to watch but also could be quite dangerous. The master walked over to one of the poles in the dojo that had many layers of rope wrapped around it. With the scythe still twirling he made a cut across the pole the incision could be seen from where Saigoto stood in the rope. It was amazing to think one could control something as large as a scythe with such ease. Saigoto was glad he had found this place and even more glad he was going to learn as much about this style as he could.

The boy began to take his stance. Holding his scythe to his right side he moved his other arm to take grasp of the scythe weapon. Saigoto was a little nervous. If he did this wrong he could very easily lose a limb or his life. He was going to take this technique slow regardless of what the master said to him about it. He didn't want to lose either of those especially here in a place like this. He began by giving the scythe one full rotation from the top the scythe traveled downward swooped around and came back to the top. As it came to the top Saigoto though that it wouldn't be to hard so he decided to go again. He swooped the scythe down Keeping the blade moving as he began to pick up speed and force. As the blade twirled threw the air Saigoto dared moving his arms. This is where the discipline would come in. He would have to keep his hands an equal distance apart regardless of what happened.

The blade would continue to spin as Saigoto slowly rotated the blade in front of him. His hands were a little shaky but his blade continued to spin. The boy was nervous and the master could tell. "Just keep your concentration kid." the master knew that this was one of the first few techniques of the style where if the student wasn't prepared he would lose something like a limb. Saigotos hands steadied out a little as he heard the words of encouragement. He could do this he just had to focus. Keeping the blade a constant distance away from himself. He hoped he would be able to keep this up. The scythe was now directly in front of him. That was good he was comfortable with it here. But he would have to now move it to his left side. The Scythe would slowly move towards the boys left side. He was scared about this even more so. He was right hand dominant and knew it would be harder to try and maintain the spinning with his left hand as the main hand.

As the Blade reached his left side Saigoto had a sudden urge to start walking. For some reason it just felt right. Like he was meant for this. He began to lift his foot. "Kid what do you think your doing stop your nowhere near ready for this" the masters voice getting louder as he started yelling at the end. His ranting continued but Saigoto just tuned him out. Saigoto began to move his foot forward ever so slowly. He would have to be able to do this. Things wouldn't turn out too nicely if he didn't. AS his first foot step came down the masters voice was back. "I SAID STOP" Saigoto gripped his scythe with both hands stopping the scythes rotation and looking at the master. "why" the pupil asked confused "I seem to be doing so good yet you want me to stop." The masters face was stern and harsh. "I don't want your blood screwing up my floors now I said stop stand still and continue the swinging but don't you dare try to walk you are not ready for it yet."

"I am ready" Saigoto said with a calm and collected voice. He could do this he just knew he could. The master crossed his arms and stared the boy down. "Fine but if you get hurt it's your own damn fault and your cleaning up your own blood." Saigoto grinned. He looked at the pole the master had attacked earlier with this attack. Saigoto wanted to attack it to. He had set himself up a good 3 steps away from the pole. Preparing himself to use the technique. He took his stance held the scythe to one side and began the swirling motion of the scythe. The scythe quickly built momentum unlike before where it took a few rotations. Saigoto knew he could do this lifting his foot up and slowly placing it forward he began moving the scythe from his right side to the left. He could do this he just knew he could. His second step came even quicker with the scythe on his left side his third step followed directly after his second step quickly switching the scythe from the left side to the right. The boy grabbed the handle of the scythe with both hands keeping the momentum going he slashed into the pole as hard as he could.

The master had a look of shock on his face. He could not believe what Saigoto has just done. Something that took some students months to learn and master Saigoto had done that and so much more in a matter of one day. "Kid you have got some skill but your crazy also I have seen plenty of kids screw that technique up and lose a limb or their life. Your just plain crazy." Saigoto smirked and laughed at that last remark he wasn't crazy he just knew his physical limitations. Or at least he thought he did. "What can I say" As he said this he moved his scythe to his side. The master looked at him with a grin on his face now. "Yeah yeah all except one thing." The boy didnt like the sound of that. "That is" Saigoto said dragging out the word is.

If you dont keep the scythe spinning after the attack you lose much of its momentum." Saigoto sighed. Of course now looking back at it the master did keep his scythe spinning after he finished his attack. Saigoto felt so stupid now for feeling like he had accomplished so much.
