Training with a new team mate (Open/Invite)

'Curse that Zeak' Amarante inwardly scolded her comrade, hands still in the snake hand sign. She was hoping that the now still movement at least would not alert the Hyuuga more then it had possibly already, the idea being that not moving would lull the boy into a false sense of security.

Zeak had begun to ask the Hyuuga his name and what the two were currently talking of. "We were talking about the different types of jutsu we had at our disposal" she began, not turning to address the boy personally. "Why don't you tell him of yours?"

On the bright side of things... Now she would also be able to test out Zeak as well as this Kenji kid. She had high expectations of these two, especially the kid.

'Crap' inwardly screamed Amarante, trying to not let the emotion show on her face. She had been watching Zeak and Kenji out the corner of her eyes and managed to catch Kenji activating his Byakugan. Obviously she wasn't being a sly as she would have hoped. An annoying trait (her overestimating herself) but oh well.

She took a moment to reconsider her choice to 'test' out her team mates... Meh. She decided to continue with it. Although her first 'test' would definitely be for the kid now, she was not underestimating him again, she was past that now.

Amarante took a second to flow through her current position. Right now she was kneeling down by the river with the snake hand seal building up chakra. 'Good the water is probably to my advantage although the kids Raiton jutsu may be a problem but then again I also have Raiton jutsu so I should be able to work around that.' Zeak was sitting on the ground to her left, Kenji was standing a bit further away but still in range for some of her jutsu though not all.

Possible problems. Kenji knows that I'm preparing a jutsu thanks to that byakugan of his. An option she had not considered but then again she had no idea that Zeak would drop in out of no where. 'All things considered it still stands on an early favorable position for me though' she smiled. 'All I have to do is keep that position. Well that and one other thing... I need a good entry point.'

It was true, the whole thing would look so much better if she had a good line to go in on. 'Curse my need for thing to be awesome!'



(OOC: Yeah I haven't actually decided on which jutsu I would use at this exact moment which is sort of a problem really but still I don't know how the next couple of posts are going to go you know so yeah. At the moment though it's going to probably be Pressure Jet but don't count on it being a guaranteed thing. Also I was waiting for Zeak to post so I didn't screw up the post order but I got impatient)

"I thought we were supposed to be team mates" the boy said to her after he released a wave of chakra from his hands, directed at her. Evading by jumping back and standing on the water (she had been expecting a counter attack after her assault), Amarante answered the young Hyuuga. "Well you did ask what jutsu I liked best didn't you?" she teased.

Slowly forming a hand sign in front of her she continued. "Well this seems like a perfect way for me to 'show' you just what jutsu they are." Flipping through her hand sign sign now she would attempt to create two water clones to fight her 'team mates.' She really wasn't going to underestimate these guys, at least one of them seemed to know what they were doing so to do so was just to ask for trouble.

Smirking as her clones began to materialize beside her, Amarante would gage her opponents reactions.

(OOC: Zeak said something a few days ago about his Internet messing up on him (although he did say it was OK now). Maybe it screwed itself again? I don't know.)

Amarante smirked. Her clones were able to be successfully created and now she would be able to do some damage and she quickly began to plan out her next move. Kenji wasn't about to just let her have her own way however. He quickly formed his own handseals and sent a wave of electricity into the ground in front of him. 'Damn I was hoping he would try Taijutsu!' she internally groaned.

Following the jutsu's movement, Amarante noted that it was directed toward her rear. Cursing under her breath, she tried to jump out of the way to her right, as did her clones. This would prove fruitless however.

She was to close for her to be able to evade most of the blows and unfortunately she and her clones were struck. Her clones were both hit in the ankle and collapsed away at the impact while she was hit three times in the feet and ankles herself (one in the left foot and two in the right foot and ankle) and once by a missile shooting upward and hitting an area in a very close proximity to a.. selective, part of her body. 'I am not going to like how that bruises' she mentally noted and he feet were slung from underneath her.

Still midair from her jump Amarante tried to regain her footing, while forming some hand signs. 'So you like playing with electricity little boy, well here's a jutsu for ya!' she inwardly screamed. A ball of electricity began to build in her hands which she would intend to throw but not at the boy, not directly anyway but at an angle she hoped would make him need to dodge the blow, said blow would not be a direct hit though if he did not evade.

The ball would actually be aimed at the puddle of water left by her pressure jet technique which he had dodged, water being able to conduct electricity. She had originally learnt this technique as a way to increase her water style jutsu's potential but if it could also improve her lightning jutsu then so be it. The game plan was that Kenji would dodge into the puddle of water and be hit by the lightning jutsu and it was flowing through the water.

It was risky however, movement even while in midair was almost if not completely restricted by the just. She would have no time for a follow up technique if this should fail in stunning the boy, instead, all of the time would be occupied by getting her footing and possibly getting into a defensive stance though the latter may not be possible. She was very vulnerable if this failed, Kenji's lightning ninjutsu adding to her stress.

In her opinion one of three things would happen: One, he would dodge left and be trapped in his jutsu, giving her time to regroup (a good outcome for her). He would dodge slightly to the right and cast a jutsu (not the best outcome but preferred to three) or three, dodge the blow and come directly at her and use some Taijutsu (an outcome which she did not want at the moment, she wasn't even sure she could stand).

As the ball left her hands something clicked in Amarante's head. The boy was a Hyuuga so if he did choose to confront her in a Taijutsu battle, he would be able to strike her with greater skill then she would be able to handle. Focusing completely on getting on her feet now, Amarante kept her eye on the Hyuuga boy.

(OOC: Sorry about not stating how far I was but yes five meter sounds about right Also you didn't say which way you dodged my pressure jet so I'm going to assume it was right considering that you attacked with your right hand also the jutsu was not meant to be aimed directly at you when I was to cast it in a previous post (actually so I could employ this exact strategy) but you sorta jumped the gun on me yeah.

The hyuuga kid suddenly disappeared in a small cloud of smoke. "A teleporting jutsu! Crap how'd I forget about that! Arg!" Amarante cried, the ball of lightning taking its proper root and crashing into the puddle of water which was originally left though that hardly mattered now.

The problem at hand was that Kenji had litterally just vansihed and was now looking to launch an attack on her. 'Where is he..?' she inwardly questioned, looking around the battle field and momentarily forgetting about landing comfortably, a young voice would suddenly answer her unvoiced question though and reveal the Hyuugas location.

"HAKKE KUUSHOU!" said young voice would shout. Turning to look behind her, Amarante managed to get a very close look at the boy who was now only a meter or so behind her before instantly getting pushed back by a burst of chakra from the boys left hand.

Amarante would skid across the top of the water from the hit on her way towards the shore line. 'I can't let this kid knock me down!' Amarante inwardly told herself. She attempted to roll onto her feet from the impact of the wind palm and, using the force of Kenji's blow to at least aid her in this last attempt of keeping some pride. 'Roll! Roll god damn it!' she ordered her body to comply.

Managing to get right ways up at least, though on her knees, Amarante skidded a couple of meters, forcing her muscles to stay contracted, before coming to a slow halt. Luckily her roll had positioned her facing the Hyuuga so she was able to speak to him. "Alright that's about enough" Amarante called to him.

Her legs were now very sore to move (not to mention another area) so continuing would be a silly move. She had of course meant this to only be a friendly sparring match, though she wasn't exactly sure if Kenji knew this or not. He seemed a little upset when she had attempted to soak him with the pressure jet, maybe it wasn't exactly a good way to go attacking him randomly like that? She considered it a moment and then dismissed it. 'Nah, he's a ninja. Fighting is our way of sporting friendship' she rationalised.
