By Naota Okuda watched it all happen in slow motion, almost as if he were an outside spectator watching the fiasco that had occurred. He forgot to account for the water as it came into the room, slipping on the water the young red haired samurai flew through the air a flew for a brief time. Flew being objective, he for a brief moment did not touch the ground beneath his feet. The young man slowly, at least to how he himself felt it happening, flipped forward. Twice in this mission now he had somehow managed to have his shunshin botched. Though he didn’t have long to think on it, he soon hit the stone flooring, the water not doing much to ablate the damage he would receive. He would not die from the impact but he would have something almost as bad happen to him. When he hit, a large gash in his forehead would be opened up, a good amount of blood seeping out from the wound. He tried to stand up, with what little consciousness he had left to him, the edges of his vision soon darkened and his strength suddenly left him. He fell back into the water with a slight splash, unconscious. He would live, but he wouldn’t be useful for the rest of the fight unless someone was able to wake him up which was something the guards were unlikely to do especially whilst Raika continued to fight them. The fall itself wasn’t what caused the young redhead to fall unconscious it was everything: the pain in his groin and the wound in his chest that he had been able to ignore for the whole of the fight somehow, the blow to the head suddenly forcing him to remember that pain. That combined with his sudden head wound was what caused it. He didn’t know if Raika would be able to survive, escape or what but he was no longer able to effectively fight for the time being even if he woke up right then and there… ((OOC: I am effectively saying its all up to you Raika, if you can win wake Okuda up till then he is out like a goddamn light, so skip me unless I am needed))

Raika heard the loud splash coming from somewhere in the room, but he didn't let it distract him. It was either an explosion of some sort or Okuda, and regardless Raika would have no way of doing anything about it. Not only that, but taking away his focus now could cause him to miss the ninjutsu user, and if he didn't take him out now, Raika was highly unlikely to survive this encounter. If somehow the loud splash were to affect him in any way, then it wouldn't matter, this was an all or nothing attack--if it didn't succeed, Raika was as good as dead anyways, so he could not worry about a splash far away. Thus, with gravity on his side, Tatsu struck down Noe, forcing the blade deep into the ninjutsu-user's flesh, basically ending his involvement in any further fighting. Raika could sense that Noe wasn't completely dead, but since he was completely incapacitated, Tatsu wasted no time in finishing the job; his own survival was more important, and Noe was merely a hired guard, not the target.

The moment his legs landed on the water surrounding Noe, Raika used chakra to stay above it with his knees bent, and he looked up, only to the see the frightening countenance of Cannel coming towards him. With no time to make hand signs, Tatsu decided to hold onto the sword. As Cannel got into range, Tatsu could think of only one thing to do. With the strength he could muster, including the force from pushing up with his legs, Tatsu used his arms--with the sword hilt being held between the body and his right palm and the sharp side of the blade still slightly within Noe--to throw up Noe's body between himself and the taijutsu user, tossing it up slightly so as to give him enough time to let go and pull out the blade completely. This move would sure surprise Cannel, and even if it didn't, it would keep him from being able to attack Raika head on, as well as keep Raika from seeing the incoming Hakki. It would also blind Cannel to Raika's actions, allowing him at least one action without scrutiny.

Using some of his momentum from the upwards toss, Raika jumped back about a meter and a half. His right arm would would move towards his own body, bringing the blade back before he swung his sword while in the air, using Moving Dragon Strike, a variation of the Dragon Strike, to send a force of air pressure the width of this blade flying towards Cannel, bypassing the body of Noe before continuing on its path. Even if Cannel evaded this attack, the guards that were behind him would not be so lucky.

Landing, Tatsu would get into a ready stance his sword to the right of his body, held by two hands ready to be swung as he began focusing chakra into his lungs and breathed in deeply, getting ready for Cannel's next move. Taking out the taijutsu user was his priority for now, Okuda--whatever he was doing--would have to wait, and hopefully survive on his known. Unbeknownst to Raika, his teammate was in more trouble than he thought.

As soon as Nera saw the guard begin turning around, she slithered forward, right behind the closest guard. Hoping that she would not be seen by the farthest guard, she kept right behind the closest guard's right leg. Her slithering would be really quiet and drowned out by the footsteps and the commotion below, but she followed along slowly.

When first learned the technique's strength is the force of a bat. When the user learns the "A" Rank, the air pressure is as strong as the blade of the sword. When the user learns the "S" rank" the air pressure is strong enough to cut through Overview objects.. Depending on the user's class level depends on the strength of the technique.

  Effect: A technique is similar to Gosei Ryuu: Ryusen (Dragon Strike) however the force of the attack bypasses, or redirects around the first object hit smashing into the target behind.
  Special: ---
  Drawback: Distance is half to what Gosei Ryuu: Ryusen (Dragon Strike) is capable.
  Description: A technique developed for hostage situations. A user performs Gosei Ryuu: Ryusen (Dragon Strike). When Gosei Ryuu: Ryusen (Dragon Strike) is struck the wave of force misses the first person or object while it redirects, smacking into a target directly behind. This can be used at conjunctions for buildings and other objects as well. Depending on the user's knowledge of Gosei Ryuu: Ryusen (Dragon Strike) depends on the strength of they are able to perform in this technique. Depending on the user's Class depends on the distance of Gosei Ryuu: Ryusen (Dragon Strike) divided by two for Gosei Ryuu: Itenryusen (Moving Dragon Strike) distance.

The spearmen stopped upon seeing blood flow into the water from Okuda's injuries. Since he was unconscious, the need to kill him was no longer a priority.

Instead, Yu turned him onto his back do that he wouldn't drown.

Ay placed the tip of his spear at Okuda's throat, in case the shinobi moved.

The first chakra gate, Mūlādhāra, had still not been closed in Cannel's body. For this entire time, it continued to push power through his body. His speed and potential movements were his greatest advantages.

Noe did die, once Raika decided to finish the job. However, doing so meant wasting time.

When Raika finished Noe off, Cannel would be upon the shinobi.

Extracting the blade from Noe's wound would likely delay any sword techniques that would allow retaliation, so Cannel went for an attack instead of a Sakki opening.

It was easy to see Raika's intention to throw Noe forward. The action was immediately read by Cannel heightened perception, and with the dexterous footwork of boxers, Cannel stepped diagonally towards his right, immediately advancing past the thrown body and into melee range.

The moment Raika wasted another motion to jump and abandoned the ground, Cannel attacked. Though, if Raika didn't jump, it still left plenty of time for Cannel's movements to overwhelm his opponent, so he would have attacked anyway. However, if Raika didn't jump and cut off the ability of high paced movement, then Cannel would have focused on the shinobi's legs in anticipation of an escape attempt.

Even if Raika was fast enough to launch his sword, Cannel could predict it's slashing motion and avoid it. Plus, the attack itself didn't harm the first target, so a blotched dodge still wouldn't be a big hindrance.

Cannel twisted his body to amplify the force of his punch, a haymaker with devastating power, which was further augmented by the active chakra gate. The taijutsu user's right fist shot towards Raika's chest, with the intention to completely crush the area.

Effect: By analyzing and keeping an eye on the opponent's shoulder and foot work the user is able to predict movements and grab a feel of when attacks are going to come by making the Boxer a more proficient fighter.

Drawback: The user is only capable of predicting movements’ one rank below then what they have learned. The user is only capable of predicting movements that are TaiJutsu Based. Any other type of movements cannot be predicted.
Description: The way this technique works is that the user observes certain points of areas of the opponent's body such as the shoulders, thighs, and hips. Since attacks are focused on these points they are capable of making educational guesses towards points of contact that may occur within these certain points. This type of technique is a study where the user is capable of watching an opponent's movements for a brief moment of time predicting TaiJutsu techniques. When the user first learns this technique they are capable of predicting techniques of "D" Rank capability. When the user learns the "B" Rank version of this technique they are only capable of predicting techniques of "C" Rank capability. When the user learns the "A" Rank version of this technique they are only capable of predicting techniques of "B" Rank capability. When the user learns the "S" Rank version of this technique they are only capable of predicting techniques of "A" Rank capability.

Boxers Mentality
Rank: "D", "C", "B", "A", "S"
Skill: Supplementary
Effect: By fighting on and on, a boxer becomes more proficient when an attack may come by. This happens usually when the boxer becomes unable to see the attack. However by being in combat for so much they can feel when an attack is coming making them less able to be flanked.
Special: ---
Drawback: The user may only learn this technique by the class that they are. This means that in order to learn the "C" Rank version they must be "C" Class, if they wish to learn the "B" Rank version they must be "B" Class.
Description: A technique where the subconscious mind, where the subconscious body reacts just as they are attacked while flanked or while their back is turn. The body reacts in such a way to where they are capable of withstanding so much. This technique makes it where the Boxer is incapable of being surprised attacked, a sudden second sense kicks in as their body screams out to them yelling at them telling them to move, duck, dodge or anything else within that manner. This works on whenever they are being attacked. This technique however has a major flaw. The user is capable of dodging only whenever the opponent's class is equal or lower to that of the rank of the technique they know. This means that a "D" Class user that knows this technique cannot use this against an opponent that is "C" Class or higher.

Footwork
Rank: "D"
Skill: TaiJutsu
Effect: A simple technique in which is needed to know in order to keep the boxer moving keeping them light on their toes against opponents.
Special: ---
Drawback: Get caught flat-footed and you will be vulnerable to counterpunches.
Description: Keep your weight balanced on both feet. Stay on the balls of your feet so you can attack, spin or retreat quickly to safety. Practice moving side to side or in a circular motion around your opponent. Shift and shuffle your feet quickly, but keep them close to the ground so you have a solid base under you. Switch stances often when training. This means you'll change which foot is in front. Work your calf muscles by jumping rope, biking and doing bag drills while moving constantly. Good footwork requires training with an integrated approach to movement, strategy, punches thrown and balance. It all has to work together, so you should always be thinking about your footwork.
Limit: Must learn in a gym that teaches Bokushingu (Boxing), Must know Upright Stance or Semi-Crouch

Haymaker
Rank: "A"
Skill: TaiJutsu
Effect: A punch in which the arm is whipped sideways from the shoulder joint with minimal elbow bend. The Haymaker is a technique in which the user hits with all they got for a knock out.
Special: ---
Drawback: Wild like punch, should be used in a combo. 1 Punch per movement regardless of Outside Fighter ability.
Description: The name is derived from the motion, which mimics the action of manually cutting hay by swinging a scythe. Since a haymaker's power is derived from weight transfer and momentum instead of muscle contraction, a long windup is required to generate sufficient force. The technique is an "A" Rank technique but has the destructive power of an "A" Rank technique because of all of the prerequisites. This means that if a Boxer Punched into a defense that is capable of holding up an "A" Rank technique the Haymaker is capable of pushing through the barrier. This technique is capable of being learned multiple times. Each time this technique is learned the Haymaker gains an extra rank of damage, turning an "A" to an "S", and an "S" into an "S"+"D".
Limit: Must learn in a gym that teaches Bokushingu (Boxing), Must know the Four Punching Basics, Must have Mastered Bokushingu (Boxing).

Tornado Jolt
Rank: "B"
Skill: TaiJutsu
Effect: A variation of the Jolt Blow.
Special: ---
Drawback: 1 Punch per movement regardless of Outside Fighter ability.
Description: Picture Refined version of Jolt Blow. By twisting the body to its limits, the speed of a hook increases dramatically, giving a big amount of additional power. With this technique a user doesn't even have to take a running start, the user can simply perform the Tornado Jump. Basically it’s haymaker to utilize complete destruction if connected. When added with the original Haymaker it adds 2 extra ranks to the Haymaker technique.
Limit: Must learn in a gym that teaches Bokushingu (Boxing), Must know the Four Punching Basics, Must know Jolt Blow.

Raika decided not to make his jump the moment he noticed Cannel move quickly to the right and basically ignore Noe's body. Jumping would put Tatsu in a terrible position, and his plans were basically dashed. This meant a quick change of tactics. The problem was Cannel's speed. Tatsu stepped back instead of jumping, as Cannel began to twist his body. Knowing that Cannel was a puncher, and knowing some of the basics of boxing due to his own serpent's training, Raika realized a powerful punch was coming his way. It also meant Cannel would be putting a lot of momentum into his punch.

The moment Cannel's punch shot forward, Tatsu shunshined back in an arc around the central pillar the Noe was next to, using some chakra to stay above water. However, Raika left an afterimage behind, with a two-fold reason. Even if Cannel had been focused on Raika's legs to begin with, he'd have to take that focus off to direct his punch towards Raika's chest, meaning he no longer was watching his legs and would not be able to predict the shunshin. Second, the afterimage would further prevent Cannel's immediate recognition of what had happened. The moment he reached his destination, Tatsu placed the blade in his mouth and began a string of handsigns, attempting to use the Thunderstorm Raven technique once again, creating 20 ravens of lightning. If successful, Tatsu would appear from behind the pillar and send 5 of the ravens right to Cannel, basically in a wall-like pattern. The other 15 would stay behind for now, flying in formation around Raika with no way to the shinobi's body without going through the birds.

Raiton – Raiu Karasu (Thunderstorm Raven)
Rank: "C", "B" (Learned 4 times)
Skill: NinJutsu
Effect: User creates birds out of Lightning to shoot at opponents.
Special: "Handseals" - Holds "Bird Handseal"
Drawback: Must learn multiple times. Birds disappear after moving further than 40 meters away from the user.
Description: User forms needed handseals and hold the Bird Handseal. User creates an amount of birds (User's Choice, Mostly Ravens) and shoots them at the opponent. Each bird is created from pure electricity, discharge into a shock of electricity when striking an object while having a 2 foot wingspan. Each individual bird has a "D" Rank equivalent amount of power when hitting. Depending on the Rank the user knows depends on the amount of birds the user is able to create, how many times they must learn the same rank before going into the next rank, how much power it takes to create the birds, and how well each bird can fly.

"C" Rank - When first learned the user is able to create 5 birds each time the technique is performed. User is able to learn this rank 10 times. Each time learned user is able to create 5 additional birds each time technique is performed, creating a maximum of 50 birds if learned 10 times. Every 10 birds uses the amount of energy equal to 1 "C" Rank Technique. Each bird has the flight capability of Poor: The creature flies as well as a very large bird.

"B" Rank - After learning the "C" Rank 10 times, user must then learn the "B" Rank version. Each time learned the user is able to create 5 additional birds on top of the 50. User is able to learn this rank 10 times giving a maximum of 100 birds created each time the technique is performed. Every 10 birds uses the amount of energy equal to 1 "C" Rank Technique. Each bird has the flight capability of Average: The creature can fly as adroitly as a small bird.
Limit: Must have Lightning Release.

Shunshin no Jutsu - Zanzō (Body Flicker Technique - Remaining Image)
Rank: "C"
Skill: NinJutsu/TaiJutsu
Effect: Affects the enemy's mind and will power by making after images.
Special: ---
Drawback: Takes away the number of usages Shunshin no Jutsu - Oshi (Body Flicker Technique - Push). Same distance applications apply. Same drawbacks apply when over using.
Description: A Jutsu to move so swiftly that an image of the technique's user is left behind while moving within 10 meters. Most often it is used to dodge an incoming attack and get behind the opponent to perform a counter-attack. When first learned user is able to perform 1 after image within 10 meters. Each time learned user is able to create an extra after image within 10 meters. May learn to perform up to 5 after images within a single Jutsu. Supplement of Shunshin no Jutsu (Body Flicker Technique - Push) while using same schematics. May be used with other Shunshin no Jutsu - Oshi (Body Flicker Technique).

The strike to the neck would be enough to take him out of the fight for the forseeable future, even as per your own post, and I mentioned that due to that, Tatsu would take no time in dealing a death blow to Noe. Thus, Cannel wouldn't be right on Raika at the point you mentioned. However, since it doesn't necessarily change the sequence of events, I will let your words supersede my own. The same goes for dislodging my sword from Noe, which in my post didn't happen until Noe's body was thrown. Just for reference to make sure everything is read correctly.]]

Hm, I read it differently, but admittedly it was a bit vague.

The previous attack was meant to kill Noe, and you mentioned in a sentence that you intended to 'finish the job', which I'm positive indicates you wanted to complete the action of killing him. You even mentioned your own survival being more important, which leaving one of your two main enemies alive seems not to support. Plus following that, you mention him being a hired guard, not the target, another reason not to keep him alive.

Lines in question:

Raika could sense that Noe wasn't completely dead, but since he was completely incapacitated, Tatsu wasted no time in finishing the job; his own survival was more important, and Noe was merely a hired guard, not the target.

But yeah, I realized it was a bit vague, so I just matched Cannel's actions to some of your later movements instead of interrupting earlier, just to be sure.

There was no need to take eyes off the legs to punch the chest. An arm didn't block a person's entire vision, and in a punching melee range, it was quite easy to see both the chest and legs of a target, just not quite their head. There also wasn't a need to focus directly on the chest in order to punch it, Cannel only needed to keep it in his peripheral vision.

There wasn't a need to watch the legs anyway, though.

They weren't quite as obvious as footprints in the snow, but when Raika suddenly stopped moving, and a trail of ripples instantly occurred on the water around the pillar, it was pretty clear that an after image instantaneous movement had been used. After all, they were walking on water, not floating above it. Both their steps still left traces.

Following the arc that was laid out by the ripples, Cannel immediately matched the shunshin with his own, arriving back in melee range of Raika.

During the movement where Raika attempted to place the sword into his mouth, Cannel twisted his body and launched his tornado jolt. The right fist was once again aimed at Raika's chest, while Cannel's eyes were focused on Raika's lower body for any other attempts to escape.

Shunshin no Jutsu - Kaunta (Body Flicker Technique - Counter)

Skill: NinJutsu/TaiJutsu
Effect: Attacks your opponent. Can't simply use "Kaunta" however way you want. It is a skill that allows you to read an opponent's Shunshin and change its movement to neutralize the opponent.

Description: A shunshin designed as a counter, reading the shunshin of an opponent in order to alter its course and render it ineffective by predicting and following the same technique with a Shunshin no Jutsu (Body Flicker Technique) Variant of your own. Supplement of Shunshin no Jutsu - Oshi (Body Flicker Technique - Push) while using same schematics.

The serpent continued, and the guards were once again back at their previous pace. So far, no one noticed the creature in movement.

Damnit....he followed so easily....stupid, stupid, stupid....Let's see him follow this!

Raika's thoughts raced, and as Cannel's fist shot forward, Tatsu could think of only one other direction to go: up. Tatsu used Inkaten to shunshin up along the pillar, stopping just in time to where his back was just a few centimeters from the roof, his body now horizontal as his feet planted themselves onto the pillar using chakra. Tatsu was now several meters above Cannel, blade now in his mouth. Tatsu figured Cannel would likely finish the punch and obliterate the pillar, so he jump forward along the roof and used his chakra to plant his feet on the roof once more, bending back forward to be in a squatted position on the roof.  This would likely allow him to escape Cannel's immediate notice even if the taijutsu master followed the direction Raika took since he'd be going towards Cannel's back.

Tatsu made some handsigns. During this entire time, he had not stopped the Arashi no Keiro technique, and with lightning chakra still encompassing both hands, he made a funnel around his mouth, shooting lightning out in a long cone towards Cannel. Should he dodge, Tatsu would follow as he moved from behind the pillar to give him a clear sight of the other guards. Should he hit Cannel right away, he'd sustain the attack for 4 seconds on the taijutsu fighter, dealing C-rank worth of damage per second. Otherwise, he'd follow Cannel in an attempt to hit him. Should Raika find his mark at any time within the next 6 seconds, he'd keep it on the fighter. If he could not hit Cannel within 4 seconds, he'd direct his attack against the guards close to Okuda, likely hitting them all as he made sure to miss his teammate. The water itself would not be too likely to conduct the current due to it having been created by Noe, but should there have been enough salt-like dust on the ground--something just as unlikely--it was a possibility, something that could work both in Raika's favor and against him.

Inkaten - Flash Point

Effect: A powerful variation that allows the user to Shunshin no Jutsu up into the air, or down back to the ground.

Description: An advanced Shunshin no Jutsu technique that allows the user to Shunshin up, or down to the ground. A blur is created being pushed upwards or downwards indicating that the user has either gone up or down. User may only perform once in mid air before having to touch something solid.
Limit: Must be taught by a master of Buredono Kenseijin. Must know The 5 Shunshin no Jutsu (Body Flicker Technique).

Kokyuu no Ryu (Breath of the Dragon)
Rank: "C"
Skill: Ninjutsu
Effect: The user uses what is kept in his hands and expels them outward.
Special: Handseals
Drawback: Wastes chakra for the amount spent firing.
Description: The user does the handseals while having chakra in their hands. Afterward funneling their hands near their mouth and blowing out the respective element handled in their fists. This technique takes a C rank to activate, and D rank amount of chakra to perform and sustain for up to 6 seconds each second delivering a C ranks worth of damage. The distance it goes depends on the Stage of Ryuugan the user has.
Chibi Ryuugan: 15 Meters Maximum in a cone like shape.
O-Ryuugan: 25 Meters Maximum in a cone like shape.
O-Dai Ryuugan: 35 Meters Maximum in a cone like shape.
Limit: Must have Ryuugan and Arashi no Kiero (Channeling of the Tempest)

Cannel watched as the enemy once again disappeared from view. There was no trail of ripples this time, which left only upwards and downwards being the possible directions.

Since the water below was mostly undisturbed, that only left one possibility.

Cannel looked up, and saw Raika right before he would have had time to attach onto anything.

His attack continued, but without a solid body to hit, it didn't collide with anything. Cannel didn't stretch out with the intent to strike much further beyond the chest, so the pillar was untouched.

He considered his options. Yes, he could follow up the pillar with a dash, then use the sharp turning capability of the dash to fix himself onto the rooftop. However, this chase was becoming excessive.

The wiser option was to secure the prison, so that the facility couldn't be escaped from in the first place.

Instead of following this time, Cannel used a dash shunshin to dash past the pillar, then turn into the hallway with the stairs he used.

By the time Raika got to performing handseals for the first offensive technique, Cannel would have been out of sight.

The Taijutsu Master disabled his first chakra gate after his dash, then dashed with another shunshin towards the staircase to return to the upper floor.

If the entire staircase were to be blocked by a collapse, the underground portion of the prison would practically be a tomb. That was the plan.

If Raika followed, he'd likely see Cannel enter the door frame of the staircase. Since only shunshins were used for the travel period, it wasn't likely that any handseal sets could be completed in time to launch an attack.

Okuda wasn't visible from the ceiling, Raika only knew which doorway his teammate's voice came from, which had a few unarmed guards blocking the way.

Should any electric attack hit the water, it would conduct fairly well. The dust and grime of the prison had mixed into the water Noe created, making it a dangerous territory for shocks if a person didn't have a method to walk on water.

As Raika was about to begin his handseals, Cannel disappeared from sight, and one quick glance assured Raika that he hadn't followed, meaning he went somewhere else. The water Cannel dashed upon gave Tatsu part of the answer. Raika changed his intended technique as he began his hanseals, realizing that the jutsu he had planned was now useless, no matter where the large fighter had gone. As he did so, Tatsu jumped quickly in the direction of the side of the pillar to give him sight of the hallway Cannel had come from, just in time to see the taijutsu user entering the staircase he came from. This wasn't good, as he had no idea why the hulking man was retreating. Was he calling for backup? Or something worse? Regardless, with only 6 hand signs to make, Tatsu's jutsu was ready in almost an instant, before Tatsu reached the water on the ground. He pointed at the staircase and shot a small bolt of lightning into the entrance, at an angle that would make the bolt hit about 1 meter or 2 up the staircase, at the point right where the stairs spiraled up. The moment it hit either Cannel--an unlikely scenario--or the stairs, the bolt would explode into a paralyzing explosion up the spiral staircase. Because of the angle it hit, most of the paralyzing force would be directed on the upper part of the first turn of the staircase. Tatsu hoped to hit Cannel with at least some of the electricity to paralyze his legs, but his hopes weren't high. Even if some of the electricity managed to hit the water, it would barely be enough to cause those in the water some numbness, due to the large area.

The momentum of the jump at an angle allowed Raika to twist in the air and land on his feet upon the water, chakra keeping him above it. He began running towards the staircase, hoping to reach the larger man before he could do anything, but unless he had paralyzed Cannel, that would be unlikely, especially without the use of shunshin. He grabbed the sword in hand in case he was indeed able to catch up.

Nera finally felt she was close enough to try and get to that metal door. She lifted up her body partly and slithered forward only just, then swung her head in front of and around both of the guard's legs, pulling back in a constricting-like fashion so as to cause the first guard to trip on both legs and fall forward. As he did, Nera slithered forward and struck forward, biting at the first guard's face as he landed, shooting a paralyzing venom into the man if successful. Nera continued forward quickly, no doubt having caught the attention of the guard at the door.

Once within a meter of her quarry, the serpent lifted her body quickly and struck forward, shooting a cone of venom at the eyes of the guard, no doubt blinding him if hit. If successful up to this point, the third guard would likely be coming to help. This would give Nera several seconds to escape into the doorway. If there was a space of about 2-3 centimeters between the bottom of the metal door and the ground like with many doors, Nera would simply slither under the doorway, getting her whole body through before the third guard could reach her. If not, she'd quickly use her acute senses of smell using her tongue to find the keys of the guards, should any of them have it, and snatch them using her mouth. Thanks to Raika, Nera knew at least the rudimentary basics of opening a door, a skill she had perfected when trying to escape when first captured by her present master.

Description: Lunging forth with incredible speed, the snake will attempt to sink its fangs into an enemy, injecting them with venom. Snakes can strike for up to one-half of their total body length.
Limit: Any snake or similar animal.

Deadly Spit

Effect: A technique where the snake may launch its venom mixed with its spit in order to smack into those that are around.

Drawback: Depending on the size of the snake depends on how far and how much it’s able to spit out.
Description: Some snakes have a deadly poison. With this technique they are able to spit out so much of its poison out towards those that are around them in a cone matter. Depending on the size of the creature however depends on how large this cone can be thrown out. With the help of the snake, this could be used in a flammable way as well. Depending on the actual length of the creature depends on how far it’s able to spit out. The spit, or the venom shot is able to be shout out at least three fourths of the actual snake's length size. So if the snake is perhaps four meters in length, it’s able to spit out enough poison to be shot out in three meters cone distance. This gives a variety and a feel for how far and how well the venom is shot out as well.

Unfortunately for Raika, the attack wasn't fast enough to reach. The movements for the taijutsu master allowed more than enough speed to get away with the addition of the shunshin dashes used. The electricity flew through the air exploded at the opening of the stairway, but made no lasting damage. If Raika didn't follow, Cannel would be on his way up the stairs.

The serpent was able to successfully incapacitate the two guards in the hallway. The third guard noticed, and immediately began to advance.

Luckily for the snake, the space under the metal door was just wide enough for it to slither through.

Inside, an old man was closely examining a metal blade.

The equipment of the cloud shinobi were hung on the wall behind the man.

[Need I say it again? skip me until Raika gets off his lazy butt and wakes me up! lulz kidding about the lazy part]

[Raika Tatsu]

Raika began running after Cannel, but not having heard any signs of the large man getting paralyzed, such as him falling, from within the stairs, Tatsu was ready for the worst. He stopped using the Arashi no Keiro to save chakra as he reached the stairs. There was almost no way he'd reach the larger man, who was no doubt close to the top. Whatever he had planned, Tatsu would not be able to stop him now. He could only hope that with Okuda's help they could get through it. That brought him to his next objective.

Okuda had been silent for a while, and the guards had stopped moving. This meant that Okuda was either incapacitated or dead--a worst case scenario Tatsu was hoping against. He turned quickly and began charging at the guards, and once within range, manipulated all of his remaining Sakurai petals towards the guards, all aimed at their torsos and heads. Without the ability to walk on water, these guards would have basically no chance of dodging the petals, which would shock and numb them throughout their bodies. At the same time, Tatsu swung his sword twice as he ran forward, each time sending a slice of air pressure towards the closest group of guards and those at the entrance of Okuda's cell block. These attacks were aimed at the midwaist of the guards, and they were timed to reach right after the petals. With that, if everything was successful, the guards would likely be either incapacitated or nearly so.

After sending out his Dragon Strikes, should Tatsu notice any guards not going down, he'd breathe in deeply, concentrating chakra into his lungs and mouth. The closest guard to Okuda not having gone down by now would be targeted as Raika blew out a long wind arrow aimed at their chest. Tatsu would figure out how to deal with any other should there be a need. If all the guards went down. Tatsu would reach Okuda, examine him quickly to make sure he was alive, and then attempt to wake him up, shaking his teammate, slapping his face, and calling out his name.

Nera spared no time as he entered the room and saw the man. She slithered forward quite fast and went to trip the man in the same fashion as the first guard outside. If successful, Nera would slither forward and strike the man in the neck, injecting her paralyzing venom, before attempting to wrap herself around the man's neck in order to suffocate him. The venom would get in the way of too much resistance by the target and would speed up the suffocation as Nera constricted a bit. Not being a constrictor by nature, the serpent didn't have the power to break the man's neck or collapse the neck tubes, but she could prevent breathing and constrict blood flow to the head.

Drawback: Only one may be created at a time.
Description: The user molds chakra and breathes in. He or she then blows out and an arrow made of wind is shot from the user’s mouth. This arrow may be blocked as it is just a large consumption of wind, however it can not be deflected away. This means that the object must be large in size enough to defend from one against the wind. The size of the arrow is the size of the opponent's mouth with the length of three feet as it can travel up to the distance of twenty meters. This technique is used for short range to steer an opponent away from the user.

Okuda remained unconscious. Tatsu could tell his teammate had just sustained a few small shocks from Raika's own attacks earlier. Before trying to wake Okuda up again, Tatsu ripped one of his sleeves off to create a makeshift turnicate and wrapped it around Okuda's forehead, stopping any bleeding. Tatsu then tried once more to resuscitate his comrade.

With the man inside the room down, Nera backed up towards the door. The third guard would likely bust in momentarily, and Nera wanted to be ready. Thankfully, Nera had found all of her master's things, as well as his friends, in case Nera found them. Keeping these items safe was now a priority.

Just as Okuda's eyes open up, there was an explosive sound coming from above ground. Large stones began to tumble down the staircase, though the staircase was currently out of sight for the cloud shinobi.

While Nera was watching over the equipment, it felt a quake through the ground, and heard a boom that seemed to be a few dozen meters away. The noise came from the opposite direction of the hallway, so somewhere behind the back wall of the equipment storage.

By Naota Groaning slightly as he began to come to, the young man with the blood colored hair blinked his eyes open slowly. Before he could really open his eyes the sudden memory and recollection that hew as in danger flooded his mind and his body quickly and the young man’s muscle memory and pure and instinctive senses kicked into overdrive suddenly to protect his life. Rolling away from his teammate the young man was suddenly up on his feet, his body down low to the ground his eyes scanning the area around him and his hands in a defensive posture. It took him a moment, long enough for his mind to fully come back to where he was and what was going on. He then slowly stood back to his full height, though it wasn’t that tall since he was short compared to most men and some females his age. Okuda then looked at Raika, noticing the Katana he had near or on his person. The young swordsman then spoke, his voice somewhat horse. “Is that my sword?” The words would come low and a bit dry sounding. The young man then began to look around when the terrible sound of rock smashing on rock or some other comparable substance could be heard echoing throughout the entire area. Taking a leap back, his body moving instinctively as if a large rock or boulder would crush him if he didn’t, the young man then began to look around the small cell, wondering what was going on now… ((OOC; sorry for the shortness guys! lol))
