”N-n-n-nani? How did I end up here?! What is this I’m wearing?!” – Ikki Ko
Ikki Ko found herself in a classroom of all places, sitting in a wooden desk, with a teacher in glasses pacing some seats up at a green chalkboard, behind a wooden desk of course. There were other students in the classroom and everyone was dressed in blue, including her, and it was clear that these were the school uniforms. The boys wore blue suits, a white button up shirt underneath, with black dress shoes and black socks. She and the other girls wore pleated skirts, along with little yellow scarves at the collars, long white socks and brown shoes. Just what the heck was going on here? She remembered being in Hitofuki and then suddenly…school? Some unknown school in a place she didn’t recognize in a city made of concrete, judging from what she could see outside of the window.
Suddenly there was an explosion outside, a bright light filling the window, followed by a roar. A metal monstrosity was striding through the city, firing missiles at an enormous red monster, which had two heads and was breathing fire. Two girls flew through the air near the window shortly after, their skirts blowing up in the breeze, both clad in the barest of cloth and holding what looked like scepters. Down in the courtyard, there were a number of guys in the same school uniform, but they were all fighting using martial arts. Hovering around then were what seemed to be ghouls, or maybe they were ghosts or demons, but they were definitely not supposed to be here. Was any of this supposed to be here? Shaking, she turned to look at her desk instead of anything else, and found that Nameless was resting up against it, even the sheath glowing black and draining a bit of light from around her. What was the meaning of this world? Just why the heck is this normal for everybody!?
