Objective: Capture the escaped dogs and return them to their owners
Description: A dog daycare has had a little bit of an accident and Sunagakure Shinobi have been called to aid the business and to recapture the dogs so that they can be returned to their owners. While taking a group of dogs for a walk, the attendant lost them when a cat crossed their path. He swears that the cat did it with malicious intent, but his boss has calmly stated that he is an idiot. Regardless of whether or not there are evil cats in the village, these dogs cannot be allowed to roam the city freely, and must be returned. There are five dogs, and each of them is a little more clever than the attendant who had been walking them.
Sarge: is a handsome German Sheppard with a loud bark and practically no bite. He is a friendly enough dog, but he loves to play, and with his size and weight, he plays rough. At three feet from paw to shoulder, and weighing in at 134 Lbs, he is not a light dog.
Tess: is a beautiful and gentle little beagle who is so intrigued by powerful smells, and will follow that smell until she finds the source. At one foot in height and 43 Lbs, so is fairly easy to handle.
Monkey: is a Tibetan Mastiff, and the largest of the dogs on the list. Weighing in at 199 Lbs, he is not a small dog, standing just half a foot taller than Sarge. Friendly and dumb, he is likely the easiest dog to find on the list.
King: is a bouncing boxer who loves to play and run around in circles like a mad man. When approached, he will take off like a bullet and try to play, often coming in to tackle whomever he believes he is playing with. Weighing almost 100 Lbs, and reaching 3 feet in height, his tackles are hard to ignore.
Lemon: is a sweet little dog, but he is not smart. Barely even a foot tall, this bushy little grey shitzu is the least intelligent dog on the list, and will probably be found eating grass somewhere in a park.
In order to get the list from the attendant, he can be found at the Obelisk of Tears, looking for the dogs and wearing a dog eared hat with a green apron with the words: Dog Daycare on the front,

The mission report was simple enough. Capture 5 lost dogs in the village, no permanent damage. They even had helpful little profiles that she could use to try and manipulate them into doing what she needed them to. Titania was still determined to perform to the best of her ability, despite how mundane the task was. To that end she wore her padded cold-weather gear - a jacket, a long-sleeved undershirt, pants, boots, and gloves - and her field pack given by Shiki. While the Assault Pack was comically oversized on her, held down by various straps across her chest, shoulders, and thighs to sit stable over her knees but under her ribs to minimize how much it would hinder her movement, it carried an array of useful things in it.

A skin of water, a pair of binoculars, a set of goggles - which she promptly donned to protect her eyes during the mission - a walkie-talkie, a gas mask (which hopefully wouldn't be needed), a multi-tool, a piece of flint, a standard sized flashlight, a compass, an amazing quality map of the continent, a field cauterizer, a rebar splint, a pair of gravitic pressure bandages, a little under sixty zipties, a bit over a dozen caltrops, four kunai combat spades, just under ten smoke pellets, and a pair of textbooks she still needed to study. Now wasn't the time for that though.

She also had her rifle slung behind her shoulder, the thing being nearly as tall as herself. Taller, if the knife blade bayonet attached under the barrel counted. It was already loaded, the ammo clip containing nine steel bolts. None of the sharp bits would be valid to use here, but she could always use the stock as a bludgeoning tool, or smack unruly hounds with the flat of one of her kunai.

It didn't take long to spot the one called Monkey. More like gorilla. The briefing really didn't do the beast justice. He was huge, and apparently rather stupid, but getting him back to the dog daycare was going to be a challenge. Titania doubted if most people would be able to subdue the thing with brute force, and immediately discounted the approach for herself. Small and weak, even a solid clubbing with the butt of her rifle would probably be about as effective as a mosquito bite.

He was supposed to be friendly though, so she approached openly and plastered a smile to her face. He didn't resist, standing around wagging his tail. She pet him up a bit, crinkling her nose at his powerful odor. She wasn't really an animal person. With some urging, he followed her easily enough. The dog walker probably just got distracted by the other dogs and let this one wander off unattended, since he was decently obedient. After she got him back to the daycare, she started looking for the others.

Lemon, the dumb one. Funny...that name seemed kind of familiar. Frankly it really pissed Titania off for some reason. Still he was exactly where the briefing suggested, the park near the Obelisk of Tears. Eating grass. Like an idiot. She was tempted to level her rifle and put it out of her misery, but resisted the urge.

Letting the flow of magic bring her strength up to par, she walked over and simply picked up the tiny canine. It licked her face happily even though she was basically abducting it. Disgusting. She made the delivery of this hound quickly, in part because it offered so little resistance. Exactly how incompetent was this dog walker to have lost not one but two of the most placid and potentially braindead animals in the city?

To lure out Tess, who had a powerful sense of smell and was interested in strong scents, a little ingenuity was required. And by that, all Titania really did was find a decently strong fan and cook up an MRE in front of it. The smell attracted numerous other animals as well, all of which were mercilessly clubbed with her rifle while she enjoyed the short break the meal provided.

When, inevitably, Tess arrived, Titania used what still remained as bait, slowly walking further and further away while the intrepid canine followed all the way back to the day care. Grudgingly, she allowed the dog to finish the meal, though she did so while resisting the urge to kick it.

According to the briefing, King was likely the original troublemaker, a playful pup with far more energy than it knew what to do with. Titania just had to follow the path of greatest chaos to eventually find the problem puppy. Or rather, it found her. Violently.

A charging tackle from somewhere she hadn't seen bowled the blonde over with relative ease. She barely managed to throw herself out of the way of a second pass while trying to get up. Thinking fast, her hands flicked through numerous somatic configurations, activating the Blur spell, which improved her evasion by making her outline indistinct and constantly shifting so that gauging her exact position and aiming at her would be more difficult. That bought her one miss, enough time to get up properly.

From there she just had to sidestep slightly with the Blur active a few times as the pup wore itself out. Eventually it had played so hard that it collapsed panting. She bent over to heft it up over the opposite shoulder to her rifle, where it nuzzled in happily and tried to eat stray wisps of her hair. Rolling her eyes, she gave it a small pat on the back as she carried it back to the day care.

The last one was Sarge, the second biggest. Smart, friendly, not too aggressive. Big though. She'd have to get it to cooperate with her on its own, as forcibly moving it was out of the question.

Like King, Sarge liked to play, but being much bulkier playing for him was incomparable to King. Someone like Titania could get legitimately hurt. At least he wasn't reported to be as insanely enthusiastic about it.

Finding him took some time, but there were no other challenges involved in that. The challenge would be in directing the brute.

...It was actually not that hard. All she had to do was throw a stick in the desired direction and walk casually. He would run ahead, grab it, and bring it back. Since she was walking, forward progress was made, and eventually they made it back to the day care. Almost none of her gear was used, which was almost disappointing because it was heavy and hot and she'd been lugging it all around for the entire day. She was more exhausted by the end than she expected going into it, but she could take a measure of pride in a mission completed.
