So this is what it is like to be useless? She thought with silent torment. But at least it is not getting worst. I can tolerate the pain now. And I feel my body slowly working through the poison. Oh how I wish to be a medic. To view my insides would be a treat. All that blood and gore. All the squishy organs. The meat. The blood to swim in. My body sounds like paradise. Sure beats this hell. Oh look … Doctor Arrogant has returned. I bet he likes how silent I am at the current moment.

As the doctor moved about the room, checking up on stiff and sick Amara, he checks her heart beat, her breathing, and blood levels. Oh how he takes his job seriously, if she felt any sort of emotion for the man, she would like him for his studies. His fingers were cold, touching her neck, seeking her pulse, and timing it before marking something down. He then grabs a light which looks like a pen and flicks it onto her already opened eyes. Before he nods to himself. “You are doing well, Miss Amarantha. Your body is maintaining well. I will be watching from the front desk as you progress.”

And then as he left the room, she heard him clearly as he spoke to one of this partners, a female nurse, Shelly: “God don’t you just envy this Kamyuja species. She should be in a coma at this very moment, yet she is aware of everything. Her results read a slightly slow heartbeat, nothing to worry about. Her breathing is regular. She is paralysed yes, but I am sure that will pass. And her vision is a little off but I am sure that will sort itself out also. Shelly. Do these blood tests please? I want the results immediately.” And then it was silent again. Along with that annoying beeping sound. Her life slipping away with her sanity until all she could hear was that god damn machine.

Inside her body she could feel her acids breaking down the venom. The burning sensation as it swept from her pores, as her muscles contract them and pushed out all the toxins. It was a painful sensation and movement. Especially when she could not move. And why am I paralysed? Oh yeah, my central nervous system is down. That is the reason for all this pain. Well that is what Doctor Arrogant said to me. And my blurred vision, dizziness, and the heaviness for sleep. He said that they were all the side effects from the poison. Fascinating creatures … snakes … to be able to do this to me. Yet I am fighting the cause. No snake poison of this dosage can bring me down. I am impeccable! Yet paralysed.

Slowly her eyes move about within their eye sockets. Outside is raining. The window drenched, beyond that, grey and dark. Those thunder clouds doing their magic. As a flash lights up the room, she was forced to close her eyes due to the brightness. And god that was frightening, her eyes are far too sensitive, and that god damn life monitor! Oh how she wished it to be silent. Oh the pain is returning. I must focus. And so she focused on her healing process, as she allowed her insides to remove the poison. The quenching sensation of her muscles re-flexing against skin and blood. She knew that the poison with within her blood, otherwise how was the poison leaving her body by her pores? In-genus, yes, but sick!

Time is a ribbon, a delicate organdie, so thin that you can see through it to the layer of time below and the layer above. Moments overlapping, lying on top of each other. In this way, past things and things yet-to-be are happening together. The hurt and the healing. The death and the reconciliation in heaven. The childhood and the womanhood. Yet at the moment it was the hurt and the healing. It seems things don’t always go in the proper order.

Amara’s soul quivered beneath the fabric of her skin, stinging needle-like sensations that wouldn’t abate. The rendition of misery coming from everywhere blistered her ears with anguish. Crescendos came in the forms of screams, followed by tapering moans. This all came from her. How embarrassing is that?! Her paralysis had lifted, same goes for the vertigo symptoms but her central nervous system was still down, and the pain caused by that was extremely painful. Her pitiful cries carried off until it vibrated down the hall.

Doctor Arrogant had seen to her needs but he couldn’t give her anything like water as it might change the effects toward the virus within her blood stream. However he did tell her, her blood results were fine. Showed her the sheet and pointed out where the poison was and how it retaliated to her blood. He monitored her from the bedroom main window, and once and a while he would test her for signs of near death. When he shined the light into her eyes, she was startled at how clear and responsive they were. He pressed his cold fingers against her neck to seek out her pulse and nodded his approval. And then when his face crunch up in confusion, Amara’s heartbeat skipped a beat.

“W-what,” she had asked, startling him more. He wasn’t expecting her to be speaking yet. But as he pressed the back of his index and middle finger against her chest underneath her collarbone, and then pulled his hand back to look at his skin damp with her sweat, he typed something down before placing the pen and paper down onto her lap. “You are sweating something unclear, Miss Amarantha. The colour should be white, but I see yellow in it.” She tried to nod but moaned instead as the pain caused her nervous system to attack her like electricity.
“M-My B-Body is pus-pushing out t-the p-p-poison. M-My b-b-body muscles a-are declining t-the p-poisons p-passage and p-pushing it-it to the s-surface. He-healing from the in-inside, out.”

God it hurt to speak. The pain was eating her alive. But at least her vision was cleared, and she was aware of what’s going on around her. She was also so very tired, yet she has managed to stay awake. So much determination, she was winning this fight. “Amazing. That is impressive. And I now understand why you didn’t fall into a coma. If I was to see that and could not wake you, death normally follows afterwards. I can see that you are mending.” “B-But, it-it’s not o-over yet…” She replied before closing her eyes and tightening her grip. Oh geez, she needed to go to the toilet…

Oh I need to go! I need to go! I need to go! The pain forming in her bladder was most uncomfortable. Yet every shift of movement, the pain riding her body is often from her nervous system eating away at her veins like water touching an electric cord. She thought she was going to light up like a Christmas tree, her eyes glowing like headlights with steam coming out of her nose and ear holes. It didn’t happen though, no; the only thing that allowed everyone near her now that she was in pain was her screams and gasps.

Amarantha was stubborn. Not even a tear jeweled her eyes or married her cheeks. Yet her skin was no longer marble white, no, she now had a yellowish tint to her skin. Doctor Arrogant was kind enough to show her a mirror which he hovered very carefully over her face. She found it funny when she looked at her reflection. Yellowish instead of green. Aren’t when you are sick you either go green, red or white? Yet here she was yellow. Must be the poison. She thought simply, too tired to care.

Amarantha dreamed sometime after her Doctor left. It was a dark place and she knew it right then that she was inside her body. The venom was screaming within her veins and blood stream. And her muscles were dancing, doing the drive to get rid of the toxin. The venom had words. The sound of screaming grannies throwing a tantrum: NO I WILL NOT PERISH MY DUTY! – SWIM MY BEAUTIES, SWIM! How strange for the poison to even have a mind to say such things. Next she was dreaming that she was her muscles. And strangely enough her muscles too had a voice. The sound of men in fact: HEAVE HEAVE! THE POISON WILL LEAVE!

Amarantha awoke laughing. Her body deliciously sore. Yet this pain felt different than the others. She lifted up her arm to test and found that the pain was due to being still for a very long time. Pins and needles attacked her and she was forced to still altogether to allow the awaking body parts to stop their complaining. She then turned her head only to hear her neck click. The last movement did her in though, but all thoughts of torment before had long since gone. She lifted up her right knee, and her eyes bulged in response.

The pain returned. Ugh! Got to go! Got to go! Her bladder threatened to burst as she sat up and kicked the blankets aside. As her fingers curled around the IV poll, and as soon as her feet touch the tile floor below, she took off. Careless that all she was dressed in was a paper thin gown. Out into the hallway she basically ran into a fast approaching Doctor Arrogant. And as they both started yelling at the same time, him saying. “What are you doing out of bed!” Her cry won their verbal battle. “Where is the GOD DAMN TOILET?!”

The toilet had seen better days. She opened the door of the cubical and speculated whether or not she wanted to go again but decided against it. She felt empty, relieved actually yet impressed in how much fluid she could hold within her body. As soon as she left the cubical and approached the sink, she got a fight of her life. She looked like death, knotted hair; yellowy-whitish skin; dark bags under her eyes and puffy throat. Eh could have been worst. She thought as she washed her hands.

Back in bed, she was beginning to hate these walls. Everywhere she looked, it was the same monotonous reminder that she was here to improve her health in the most ludicrous way. It was like torture, but at least it was simple. Bitis gabonica or commonly known as the Gaboon viper; the venom was slowly injected into her IV cord. She had only gotten back to bed when she was given the opportunity to heal and rest, but no she had to say ‘let’s get this over with…’ there was no turning back now. As soon as the needle pulled free from her IV cord, she closed her eyes and waited for the poison to take effect. Once again she didn’t know the side effects, all she did know was that the dosage was medium. It was becoming much more dangerous.

And due to her being slightly weak than normal, the poison effect – Doctor Arrogant had said – would work a lot faster, and he wasn’t kidding. The pain attacked her unexpectedly. And she had never felt anything like it before. The pain was real, and yet it wasn’t. It washed fire across every nerve ending, but the agony of it didn’t linger for more than a heartbeat or two. Even so, her limbs trembled with sudden weakness. It was almost as if her strength was being sucked away by the pain.

Alright. What do you feel? He asked after a moment of hesitation. She looked over at him and mumbled the word pain. Apparently he seemed very worried for he had not left since putting the venom into her system. What is different with this snake than the others? Am I at risk? A groan left her throat and the sound left her whimpering. She sounded weak, which was not normal and at the force of something that had left her, she cut off her cry and glared at the far wall. I will get through this!

Besides the intense pain which she identified as aching, throbbing and stabbing, it wasn’t long before it increased into a burning sensation following close by a tingling sensation. And then what she thought was going to be the worst kind of pain; the feeling of poison gnawing at her organs summoned up a cry from hell. The shooting sparks of pain brought tears to her eyes. Now it was the last shot of pain which made her feel really worried: the sudden numbness. She wasn’t prepared for that. It felt as though her self-control was gone, and that alone awoke the alternative personality within her.

Vomiting was never a pleasant experience, but it’s even less so when you don’t know if the person sidestepping the projectile is friend or foe. And right now she really wanted to kill Doctor Arrogant. Whenever she got the chance, she would glare in his direction and she was commonly known to have a macabre appearance due to her skin, it brought out the power of her eyes. Not the chaos, the rage. But the hatred and the sense of something not altogether sane.

Adelpha glared at the Doctor with venomous promise of retaliation, the saying an eye for an eye, she really wanted to poke his out. But as the intense pain rocked her weak form, she found herself sobbing and that alone was a mortification. STOP STARING AT ME! She mentally roared as she knew by now she has lost her voice. It wasn’t long now until she found that darkness had taken her world.

Inside she was in a sea of pain. Purple waters, she gathered that up to be the poison within her system, and it was clinging to her like a second skin, wanting, determined to claim her soul as its own. Why purple she did not know, it was as though she was delusional, where the poison should be yellow, it was dark. The poisons own agenda was simply to punish and then kill its victims, and sadly enough Adelpha felt like a victim. In the darkness her wild cries of pain penetrated the walls and somewhere far off she heard glass shatter.

The sudden change in the current of the poison took her along with it, and it was then did she realized that she had entered another dimension where hell now tormented her near completely. Passing into this dimension, the shattered glass had torn away her flesh and left only her bones, teeth and finger nails. Her twisting organs and muscles pulsed with every churn of infection and mentally Adel screamed out in anguish until all that was left of her was an empty shell. She was in severe shock. After a while she came around, the purple waters tinted until it looked nearly black.

She forcefully lifted her right arm and saw the flesh coating her arms, all blustered and raw. The swelling intense, the blistering all bubbled up and was constantly oozing pus. Somewhere far off, she heard a voice; it was deep and strangely desperate. She’s convulsing hard! Hold her down! Watch out for the blisters! SHELLY! QUICK BEFORE SHE SWALLOWS HER TONGUE! She didn’t know what was going on. Continuously she drifted down with the purple poison. Turning, twisting, moaning and whimpering. Was this her world now? How diabolical this torture, such a heinous trail.

I’m dying.

The thought was followed by a frantic panic that squeezed her chest mercilessly. She struggled even harder to breathe. Blood bubbled clogged her throat, the burning agony intensified, threatening to overwhelm. Cold darkness was once again moving in from the edges of her vision. It was almost welcoming. The instinct to live fought briefly with the excruciating pain and her desire for it to stop. The pain won. The effort was too much, body relaxing, she began to let go. A paramedic was kneeling at her side, pushing hard against the centre of her agony. He snapped instructions to his colleague: Dr Arrogant. Most of it went over her head, but some of the words she caught: “Poison damage too great,” “too much damage.” Overhead, the stark florescent bulbs blurred, and she closed her eyes. The world faded, she floated. Through the background noise of death there was a voice.

Amarantha? She ignored it – what good could her response do now? Amarantha! The voice was hard, insistent, with a strange accent. She forced heavy eyes to open. An oxygen mask covered her mouth. When did they put that on? Why aren’t they using their Oxygen apply jutsu or whatever the hell it is called on me instead? she felt anger, the lucidity momentarily sharper. Why are they expecting me to talk with I’ve got this thing on my face? she clutched at the plastic, trying to respond. The paramedic took her hand, replacing the mask offering a kind smile that stood at odds with the sadness and resignation filling his eyes. He knows I’m dying. “Let us work,” he said, his voice raspy and nasal, not the deeper voice with the growl to it she had heard calling her name. Confused, she closed her eyes again.

Amarantha … Amarantha, can you hear me? … … Yes. She thought fuzzily. Why can I hear you? … … I’m in your head, Amarantha. The absurdity of this statement caused her eyes to snap open, but the intense concentration and hurried movements of the paramedics, their strained faces and the blood she could see from the corner of her eye, spreading in an ever-widening pool across the grey linoleum floor, soon it convinced her to close them again. You’re dying, Amarantha. … … Tell me something I don’t know, she thought bitterly. I can offer you life. … … I’m hallucinating – I’m dying and my mind is trying to lessen the blow, she rationalised. You’re not hallucinating, I’m really here. My offer is real. … Are you an angel? she whispered. No. I am your father, you know? You just killed me like five weeks ago… … Oh. And are you taking me to hell? A deep heavy sigh.

No. I am not taking you to hell. Just listen to me. Join with me. Come ‘on child, I can feel your life slipping away. Please, Amarantha, join me. Live! … … What’s the catch? … … Pardon? Another sigh. Well, daddy, there’s always a catch. Do I end up deranged like you? His voice chuckled and despite everything, Amarantha found the sound captivating despite how much she hates the bastard. The catch, since you ask, is that you must live. And that like your mother, I’ll be with you also. Rage changed me, it contaminated me, corrupted me. Yet somehow I have changed. In the end, Amarantha did not care about the consequences, she did not think about what she would turn into, what this all meant. As the pain drew her deeper, her consciousness fading, she did what any sane person would do – she reached for the light and grabbed at her chance of life. One last thought flickered through her mind before the darkness claimed her: Yes, father, I’ll join you. I must be insane, finally, but if I regret this later on, you’re out! Strange dreams chased each over through her mind. There was a strong tugging sensation, like being dragged out to sea by a powerful current. She had agreed to join him, so she relaxed into the current, still not entirely convinced that it was not just her imagination working overtime. There was firelight, shadows, growling and snarling in melodic harmony. Then it was silent, dark and just his voice: Kal, her father.
“Sleep now, daughter of mine, I’ve got you.”

Consciousness came back by degrees. Amarantha’s eyes felt glued shut. For a while she lay motionless, assessing, but one pull of her muscles and the pain all came travelling back. So did her memories. Flightily, she peeled open her eyes and blinked twice as fast to keep them open. She looked around, seeking to see if her father had somehow came back to life, but her room was empty. But not silent, the life support machine was beeping along with her heartbeat. Some things never change. The pain was tormenting, but much more tolerable now. And she realized, that she was not dying, not even close.

She turned her head and gasp out in pain. Clicks and cracks made music in the silence of the room. The pain was indeed like a virus, and speaking of viruses, she closed her eyes and entered her mind’s eye, easy with years of practice. And then she let out a sigh. Adelpha was there, not in trouble, sane enough considering herself being not sane. But something was off, she was floating next to a dark mass, a dark form. She shivered and left her mind’s realm and entered her true realm of the living, awareness immediately smacking into her. God the pain, could she ever get used to it?

She shifted her body slightly and heard something pop. Hesitantly yet quickly she looked down to see the white sheets reddening. Blood. Why am I bleeding? She shifted and lifted up her arm before realizing the reason. “Oh.” She huskily mumbled, then regretted it. The pain to speak, was everything wrong with her. She studied her swell up skin, patches with even blisters bumping her skin. Her tongue felt thick and heavy, and the same goes for her eyelids which she imagined looked terrible. Movement flickered at the corner of her eye and she painstakingly turned her head, panting with the movement.

Doctor Arrogant’s head came into view, along with his light. It took a moment for her to realise that he was speaking. “…and we thought you had died, yet somehow you came out of it. You are still in bad shape though, any sort of movement will cause bleeding. And you are still having convulsions. At least your swelling is not increasing, nor is the blistering but I have to say the shock is over and done with. I could be wrong, but here,” She felt a prick and looked down to see her blood being drawn out. “I will know when I get these bloods tested.” She groaned before unconsciousness claimed her once again.

Her heart knocked as hard as a fist on a door. But that was not the reason that roused her from her sleep. It was pain, again and it was that intense that it brought her back from that far place on the very edge of life to which she had drifted. She groaned. The first thing she was aware of as she regained consciousness was the smell of her own blood, intensified inside the room with all the windows closed; and then the agony struck her with full force, windows and heat forgotten.

A violent tremor shook her whole body and she opened her eyes and looked down at herself. Her hospital gown was drenched in blood and empty toxins of the poison which had been pushed out through the pores of her skin. And the pain was as nothing she had ever experienced in her entire life. The pain was so terrible that she wanted it to end. She wanted to die then and not to have to endure it further. Then she remembered her father. She tried to summon him up by making a sound, but no sound came. Only the thought of him gave her the strength to continue, to endure.

Each slow movement was a mighty effort and evoked fresh paroxysms of agony, but it was a survival for the fittest and she had wished to live before, so she was not turning back now. In her resting sleep she realized the entire reason why she had survived this long, her father was inside her and his added strength was what made this possible. But she was still confused, he was a murderous bastard who killed her entire family, and had even tried to kill her, but now he seemed different, totally free of rage. Did death do this to him? Made him the man he was supposed to be, a loving father. Hell no, she will not believe it.

Her arms weakly lifted and her hands slapped into a hand seal. She didn’t really want to do it this way, but her body was seriously wounded by the contamination. Releasing her chakra was like a slap to her face, such concentration to even release such an energy almost seemed hopeless. But nevertheless her hands held the Ram seal and she controlled her chakra until her entire body system was slowly wakening up from its slow slumber. She wanted this poison out, and she intended for it to happen today. “That’s my girl. Now how are you going to get rid of the infection?”

Hearing her father’s voice full of so much affection, of so much tenderness, creeped her out. It was enough of a jump start that when her body jolted with the sound of the unexpected voice, more blood was released when her blisters burst open. But then she answered the only way she knew, but using the same voice frequency she uses to speak with Adelpha. By pushing the poison through my pores. My muscles are weak from the progress of doing so until now, I’ll now do the job myself by the same way I release my chakra. Still out through the pores. Easier said than done, she needed the concentration and all she could hear was the live support machine beeping the rhythm of her heart.

Just then Doctor Arrogant entered the room with a clipboard in one hand, a pen in the other. Amarantha mentally groaned, worrying that he might want to take more of her blood, she has lost enough already and the sight of his eyes widening upon the site of her drenched body was enough of an answer. Bloody creature poster girl! Put me in the spotlight! Horror movie flick one! And action! She ignored her father’s chuckle and smiled up at Doctor Arrogant. “I think I am due for a shower.” She croakily whispered before she turned her attention inwards.

Already the poison was leaving her body. But the process was slow and evermore painful. Not at all like the release of chakra. She moaned as a light suddenly flickered into her eyes and then she growled when Doctor Arrogant placed his gloved hand against her skin to study a burst blister. But what she did hear though made all this torture well worth it. “Amazing. Your body is healing much faster than the normal rate of poison infections. Your blood results showed less damage than my boss originally thought. You Miss Amarantha are not really in the situation of the dead or dying. If I know by experience myself, your episode before was that you were in major shock.”

Nope. I was dying… “…now your blood level is a little low. But not so much of a worry. Your immune system will take care of that. Now to quicken up your healing progress now that I see the poison covering your body, I’m going to get Shelly to clean you as best as she can without moving you and then I am going to apply this ointment. This salve will heal the blisters. But I am afraid you will have to deal with the poison.”

Amarantha nodded slowly before allowing her body to be cleaned. Her gown was cut down and her skin was dabbed to the point of wet then wiped clean with PH balance soap. Her hair was tied up off her neck and face, and her IV cord was then taped to the board beside her. As soon as she was reasonably clean considering the continuing release of poison from her body out through her pores, Doctor Arrogant then applied the balm. At first it smelt of clean aloe vera, but then she decided to hate the cream as it only brought on more pain.

A new gown was placed over her but not tied up at the back. By then her skin had once again got a yellow tint due to the poison leaving her body. Her chakra was cancelled but that did not mean the poison was stopped at leaving her body, her muscles and blood flow was doing the job now. Amarantha sighed and closed her eyes. She was still tired, and weak. But at least the convulsions had ended, and the swelling was decreasing, that included the blistering. Doctor Arrogant had said that her tissue damage was not that serious but he would deal with that personally.

Consciousness was instantaneous, if uncomprehending. Totally disorientated by her rapid jerk from deep sleep, unsure what had woken her, Amara stared wildly at the trees through the sight the window allowed her. Where am I? Memories came flooding back and with that pain and discomfort. She remembered blood, horrid blisters and evident swelling which left her with intense pain and then severe shock. Gaboon viper was a nasty snake, with poison which had nearly ended her life. Then she remembered her father’s voice and then the combine of souls in the results which added strength to her to pull through this quest.

Amarantha stiffly stared down at herself, the hospital gown had ridden up her legs yet her sheets were removed. Her body was covered in a lean coat of sweat, blood and yellow poison, but as she moved she found the process a lot less pain free. Yet the battle was not over, she still felt sick and drained. And when she lifted her arm to assess her strength, her muscles felt like jelly within a line of thin skin. Just how bad is the tissue damage? She allowed her arm to flop back down upon the bed before she looked up. Shelly stood in the doorway staring down with empty eyes before she blinked them away and a smile formed. It was enough to make Amara uneasy, and it left her wondering why the look was there in the first place.

“You are looking better dear. But I can see dry blood on you, were you having a bad dream?” Indeed the woman made her feel uneasy. It was as though she had woken up into a nightmare, this woman gave off a sinister aura and Amarantha did not want to be around her. Especially not when she was in a weak state. “I have had better days in my life, yes.” At least her voice had improved and that there was no swelling of her tongue. Come to think of it, she lifted her right arm again and with her hand she touched her eyelids. They were a little swollen but at least she could see everything clear. There was not even the pain she felt before whenever she moved. Just how healed am I? “I’d better get Doctor Seiji.” Amarantha felt sudden relief as the woman left her room.

With her hands she brought them together and formed the Ram hand seal. Just to make sure she was on the mend, and summoned up her chakra. As she felt it soak throughout her body chakra systems, she felt the normal warm sensation that comes along with the releasing of held up energy. And as soon as her chakra and other muscles and blood masses began gathering up all the remaining poisons within her body, she began the process of pushing the toxin from her body, out of her pores and onto her skin, all ready to be washed off. The discomfort came and went as she released the infection from her cells and concentrated on getting better. Just then Doctor Arrogant entered the room looking rather pleased with himself. Amarantha quickly canceled her chakra flow and studied the male silently.

“How are you feeling Miss Amarantha, you do look better. While you were sleeping, I took one last blood test, and tested for the results personally. The poison within your system is far less than the amount I have put into you. As far as I am concerned, you are almost ready to be discharged. The cream I placed over your blisters have healed nicely, the redness has left, only a slight pimple remains but in a few days that too should be gone. And your swelling has almost disappeared. I see some on your eyes lids and throat, but otherwise that too had lessened.” As he hooked up a bag of H2O to her IV, all he ended up talking about was what a success she was…

It was raining, a desultory, reluctant angry rain forced unwillingly from the gray clouds overhead. It dribbled with the fiendish rhythm of a Chinese water torture. Drip. Drip. Drip. The woman stood in the middle of a field, not so far from the hospital she had just been released from and puffed up her chest a couple of times to get her lungs ready for training. And then she practiced, to get the feel of the heat her technique provides. At first she the hands seals, C Rank worthy before her chakra bloomed. As soon as hand seals were completed, she closed her fingers around her mouth, leaving a small circle for the flame to escape from her lips. A few seconds later, she leaned back slightly, and then leaned forward. However when she leaned forward, she released up all the pent up power. A large gust of fire shot from her mouth. At first it streamed out but then expanded to a flame that was slightly larger than her body. As it disappeared about two feet above land, before her, she coughed twice before reflexing her shoulders. B rank worthy now…

Her hands suddenly flew through the seals: Tiger, Ram, Monkey, Boar, Horse and then back to Tiger. The speed was amazing, fast as expected due to the fact that she is a Ninjutsu Specialist. The second blast was supposed to be different from her first, sadly it didn’t seem to be what she was working toward. The heat was powerful, the distance of the flame good, but no explosion at the end. But at least it escaped her cupped hand in a straight line. But now that the warm up exercise was over, she would expect much better of herself.

Hand seals flew and then her chakra deep within her swelled up once again ready for the release of heat, fire. As she gently pushed it up to her Esophagus and allows it to coat the tube before she does any breathing, she remembers from her previous training, when she was learning the technique for the very first time: She knows that there are two holes within the human throat, the Esophagus, and the wind pipe. There is a small bit of skin that acts like a door way between both pipes. It closes when the person speaks and eats; cutting off the person's air as they cannot eat or talk while they breathe.

Right now, she was concentrating on her breathing control, therefore that little flap within her throat would be open to allow Oxygen to come through. When she was ready, she inhaled a large body of air and then curve her lips into a circle as she gently blow the air back out. But as the air escapes from her mouth, she release the chakra stored within her Esophagus and merge it in with the exhaling air. Heat builds up within her mouth as she blows out, but no flames are visible just yet. The heat reaches her lips and soon a small thin trickle of a flame shoots from her mouth.

It was approximately half a meter long and was as thin as a normal thirty centimetre ruler. Her lips however, ended up slightly singed. She had continuously lick them as she dropped her hand to her side… With a roll of her eyes, she knew the way now how to do it, but will it work? Her past self-made her laugh, but as she leaned back, her chakra working, her throat blocked, laughing would be a very bad thing. So before she releases any flame, she was concentrating on her chakra within her diaphragm. Continuously wishing for a reasonably amount so that the fire will at least grow to the size of her body.

At the moment, by judging, her chakra was at the point when she was full of energy. She suddenly feels hyper and was in the need to burn off this newly found energy. Her right hand was then concentrated on. The chakra points located within her finger tips are opened and her chakra was free to swim around within her hands. It does not swell up like her diaphragm did, but there was a sufficient amount to coat her hands for when she eventually releases her breath. Her hand then creates a circle and is then places over her mouth. If she were to poke her tongue out, it would go through the circle. Almost ready.

Katon - Goukakyuu no Jutsu (Great Fireball Technique) [10]

Effect: The user is capable of performing a few handseals in which gives them the capability of blowing a large body of fire in size of a large sphere that has great fire proportions and explosive capabilities.
Special: "Handseals"
Drawback: Depending on the Rank, is dependent on how strong or how much the user is capable of doing with the Goukakyuu no Jutsu.
Description: The user quickly performs a few handseals. The user then places the hand over their mouth creating a small like circle. This technique in turn is then to help the user control the great flame. The use then blows out and creates a large fireball that twice the size of a normal human body. When the "C" Rank version is first learned the user is only capable of blowing out the Great Fireball that is cannot be moved or go anywhere else. This also means that the technique does not explode in a fiery explosion, but burns greatly to anyone that is caught within the technique. When the user learns the "B" Rank version then the user is capable blowing the Great Fireball into the distance, sending it away from the use it to hurl towards the very opponent. This technique is only capable of going into a straight line and this is capable of having the size three times the size of a human body. This technique when launched at an opponent then becomes dangerous because at this point the technique can explode causing damage that is even more devastating.

With her Esophagus ready and coated thoroughly, she suddenly remembered when she sent the fiery chakra up through that tiny tube and had felt an intense heat build-up within there. It was not hot enough to burn her, but it did give her a dry feeling. However finally ready, she immediately inhaled deep and then closed her eyes so that she did not melt her eyeballs. One. Two. Three. Amara push herself forward and begins to blow the air out simply, yet slowly and in a moderate size.

The heat surges up within her diaphragm and begins to travel up to her Esophagus. The chakra waiting there expands as the heat reaches it. Once she release it the scorching heat roars within her and she blows a little harder. The burning sensation has reached her lips now and a medium stream of fire shoots forth, burning her lips slightly as it erupted from her mouth. As her practice ends, she opens her eyes, licks her lips and starts all over again. No fiery explosion.

In no time at all, her chakra was ready once more, and as she concentrated on her diaphragm, she waited for her chakra to bubble up within it. Amara was pleased at how far her outcome had come and was determined all the more in improving it and then mastering. Her chakra surges up within her and that same feeling of hyperactive suddenly returns, however not so bad. Still hyper enough that she suddenly wonders if she could run as fast as a chicken with its head chopped off. Her hand was brought to her mouth again and her five chakra points located in her fingers were reopened again.

The chakra flows into her hand smoothly and the heat from within her grows greater with every breath. Amara cups her mouth with her hand and then push her chakra up to her Esophagus. She estimated that she was amusing half a pint of chakra for this jutsu now. Before she was slightly under the half way point. Since the upgrade in chakra control, she was confident that the flame will be much larger. Her Esophagus was burning with chakra and it suddenly gives her the feeling that she’s very thirsty. Just thinking about water nearly makes her groan.

However, her chakra was ready. It doesn’t take long when perfect chakra control is one of your specialities. The female sucked in a large amount of air, as much air as her lungs could hold. She managed to hold it for ten seconds before her chakra finally forces her to release. She steadily blew the air up through her throat and release the chakra once it makes contact. The heat was much stronger now. In fact it feel as though it was burning her from the inside, out. Her eyes widen and she threw herself forward as it reaches her lips.

This technique is only capable of going into a straight line and this is capable of having the size three times the size of a human body. This technique when launched at an opponent then becomes dangerous because at this point the technique can explode causing damage that is even more devastating.

A large stream of fire shoots from her mouth and expands once it was in the clearing. The chakra within her was pushing in with the air that slowly leaves her lungs and the fire continues to grow. At this point, Amara was positive that the flame was larger than her own body. Much larger. Once all the air runs out, she begin to lick her lips, craving for water. A run for the hospital wouldn’t take long, and so she did so, breathlessly.

After five minutes or so, a bottle of water in her hand, she stands in the field once more, the run over and done with, Dr Arrogant must had read her mind as he had water ready for her. Refreshed and ready, her chakra was then focused deep into her diaphragm once more. It was a never-ending cycle, but it had to be done if she wanted to master it, and get a good knowledge in Fire Release. But she had made up her mind though, she was not mastering the style, it was torture!

Energy builds up like gas and begins to swell up within her once again. And as she concentrates on allowing only half a pint to fill up her stomach, nothing less and nothing more, the power within her goes great for her sudden mood. It makes her feel powerful. Her right hand was open flat, her palm facing the sky. The chakra points located in every tip of every finger are opened and her chakra was oozing out.

It surrounds her hand within a minute. She does not push it through the pores of her skin, instead she simply keeps it tucked inside her hand, under skin. The heat emitting from it is great, she cannot feel the soft wind. Her hand was then brought up to her lips. Her fingers curl into a hollow circle, but my pinkie remains sticking out. Her full, rosy lips fit perfectly within that circle and her hand was ready.

She then moves her attention onto her throat. After she had a drink, she had found gulping down the water difficult because her Esophagus felt like it was going to singe till there was nothing but her windpipe left. Although those gulps of water felt refreshing, her throat was killing her. Amara separates a small amount of her chakra from her diaphragm and sends it all the way up to her throat. Her Esophagus was then coated and was filling up with an extremely thin amount of chakra…

Amarantha does this because when she chooses to inhale, the chakra within her Esophagus will merge in with the air as it flows out of her mouth.The female then sucks in two lung gulps of air and holds it for exactly ten seconds. The chakra within her stomach pushes up as if it cannot sit well with the acid stored within. She then open her mouth into a kissing gesture and begins to exhale slowly. The air reaches her Esophagus within three seconds and the chakra was released. Heat soon scorches within her throat and was raising quickly. The more air that connects to the chakra, the more hotter her mouth feels.

The first air that leaves her system was a thin line of fire. It grows as more of the air was exhaled. She opens her mouth wider and allow more air to come forth. The flame grows larger immediately and expands out to half the size of her body. She continues to blow out the air as there was plenty more left stored within her lungs. The flame grows larger still and was now the size of her entire body.

Amarantha hear a mumble from her left but cannot make out the words. Instead she focuses on what she was doing, and blows the air out without holding back. The flames grow intensely large, larger than her own body, and then while still holding this form, she awaits the explosion. Still, it stretches out around and covers a large portion of the land before her. And just as she began to run out of air, the explosion finally happens.

Amara empties her lungs and cut off the chakra connection to her hands and Esophagus. Meanwhile she watched as the explosion rocked the air and area before her. It had read on the scroll that this technique was capable of having the size three times the size of a human’s body. And as she studied the flaming orb of fire, which had indeed shot out in a straight line; the size was indeed three times the size of her body.

The scroll also said that when launched at an opponent, it becomes dangerous, obviously it was as the explosion had left a crater on the ground’s surface before her. Anyone surely to be in the way of this jutsu will be engulfed in flames. How devastatingly beautiful. She thought as she leaned over, panting softly…
