Support Issue: Basic Rules
The Issue: Zeriouja
Rank: "A"
Type: Main
Effect: see description
Special: none
Drawback: none
Description: Link This weapon is a type of naginata. It has a staff handle, with a thick, curved blade at one end, and a sharp almost spear like point at the other. The colors very depending on the wielder and the craftsmen’s taste (it can really be any type of spear or polearm, but it’s this for my purposes). Though this may look like a normal weapon it is far from your average cleaver. The staff and blade are made of a very rare alloy, making it nearly indestructible. But even that feet is somewhat eclipsed by its most unique feature. In the somewhat thicker section of the staff, where the blade connects there is what some could only describe as a jewel. Though this assumption is far from the truth, the only way to truly understand it is to understand its history (see below).
Cost: 15000
Nucleus Pull
Rank: S
Skill: Medical Ninjutsu
Effect: Allows the medic to remove the necessary pieces from the Hozuki’s nucleus.
Special: need a willing Hozuki
Drawback: Hozuki cannot do anything strenuous for a time and the pieces of jelly are very easily lost do to their incredibly small size unless the medic puts them in the weapon immediately.
Description: Using ones medical knowledge and extreme chakra control, the medic is able to pull the most miniscule amount of particles from each of the organs in the Hozuki’s nucleus, and then place them in a container to be used in the creation of this naginata. After this is preformed the player having the procedure done to them needs to write a few posts before being able to really do anything. These posts will be called recovery posts, and similar to training posts, they will be graded by staff out of ten. Once you have gained 40 points in the recovery posts you can be considered all better. note: these recovery points do not add into your tp count what so ever. Adding them into your count will result in your Zeriouja ‘falling off’, and still having to do the recovery posts without gaining tp.

These fragments of the Hozuki’s internal organs serve as a creation conduit for the liquid used in most of the weapons techniques. When water release is channeled into the organ fragments they begin to secrete a gooey liquid, which is made of the exact same substance as the D ranked transitional membrane. This goop can then be controlled to move across the blade, and coat it, thus providing the basic setup for the following techniques. (These two powers are expressed in the following techniques; they are not inherent in the blade when received.) The weapon works very similar to the guy at 5:20’s
History: The history behind this modern ninja marvel is quite extensive. It all started not to long ago in the village hidden in the mist. There a prominent weapons and medicinal technological developer by the name of Kouri Aruchi was commissioned by one of the villages most prosperous families to create for them a weapon. The Arashi’s were quite wealthy, and were a family that had a long family lineage of being village ninja. They wanted a weapon that would add to the already heavy advantage their blood limit gave them. They were Hozuki, the people whose very clan was built around frontline combat, and for this reason he chose to make them a melee weapon.
It took him weeks of work and tests to realize however, that no matter what he tried their blood limit was just too unique and for lack of a better word, out of the ordinary for him to come up with anything to compliment it. This realization brought him to his biggest breakthrough yet though. He began commissioning volunteers from the various Arashi family branches to participate in tests. The experiments he performed on them were as humane as possible and still produced results. He began to understand how their bodies worked more, and concocted a way to basically make the weapon a part of the Arashi.
In every Hozuki clansmen, they have what is called a transitional membrane, which is controlled by a nucleus of sorts. This nucleus is where all their vital organs are housed, and as such is what controls the membrane made mostly of water around them. Kouri developed a procedure where he would use his exponential amount of medical knowledge and remove a small fraction of several specific organs from the Hozuki’s nucleus. The amount of damage done by the procedure is fairly mild for the reward. It will take an Hozuki about 1 week (going to say about 7 out of combat posts) before he is able to really use his chakra, or control his transitional membrane more then doing the simple task of keeping himself alive. But they achieve something grand.
These miniscule fragments are housed in the area where the blade connects to the hilt of this naginata, where Kuori’s design called for a slightly thicker and more durable alloy then what already had been molded for the rest of the weapon. After the first successful procedure, the recipient actually began creating techniques for the weapon. With this success, the head of the Arashi underwent the procedure and received his own version, thus setting the example to the rest of the clan to obtain one. After this rousing success however, Kuori vanished from Mist, leaving no trail.
It turns out that he came across a group of medical ninja performing his medical technique on unwilling Hozuki forcefully. They were harvesting all of the individuals nucleus’s to use for other more prominent family members, so the more ’important’ ones didn’t have to experience the pain of such a procedure. He couldn’t allow this. He talked to the kage who brought the entire clan under trial. They were each barely given a slap on the wrist for their crime, but Kuori was able to succeed in getting their naginata’s stripped from them. He took his knowledge of the procedure and creation of the weapon with him as he fled the water country.
Limit: User Must be a TaiJutsu Specialist, must be an Hozuki, must have at least 250 in character posts, and must ask my permission (or if I am inactive or have left the site the admin’s/headmods permission) to obtain the weapon. Afterwards any assistant or higher can provide an event for you to find the master smith in. This weapon cannot be started with.
Master Smith: Kuori Aruchi is the only crafter of this weapon. He is a fairly humble man. As long as the participant is willing to undergo the surgery for the blade they are usually more then happy to oblige….provided they pay the cost of the weapon. He is quite old now and has graying hair and a graying beard. His medical knowledge is unparalleled, especially when it comes to Hozuki.
