Skill: Ninjutsu, Supplementary
Effect: Allows the user to attach a specific handseal formation onto a specific note so that they user may play or sing the note in order to gain the effect of performing the handseal.
Special: Singing or playing a note on an instrument.
Drawback: The user is required to sing or hold the instrument's note for a certain amount of time before the effect of the handseal formation can be considered performed. These must be learned each time for each individual Release. This means that if a user wishes to learn this for the Fire Release, they must have the Fire Release and learn this for the Fire Release. If a user has the Figment Perception the user must learn this for the Figment Perception, and have the Fighment Perception. Must be learned for every type of instrument. This makes it where a user can not go into a Guitar, and automatically be capable of doing the same with a Flute.
Description: By first learning how to mold chakra with the use of handseals, a shinobi who focuses upon sound-based techniques can train themselves to achieve this same effect by playing or singing a note for a specific amount of time. Each note has its own handseal significance, and the user must learn how to attach significance to each note before the note can be used in place of handseals. At "C" Rank, the user must hold the note for the length of performing three normal handseals before a note handseal is considered formed. At "B" rank, the user must hold the note for for the length of performing two normal handseals before a note handseal is considered formed. At "A" rank, the user is capable of performing a staccato rhythm, barely holding the note for the length of one normal handseal before having the note handseal formation considered complete. This means that each note consists of a Handseal.
Limit: Must have the Sound Release. Must have the corresponding Release, or Perception in order to learn.

A soft sigh escaped Tieren as he looked at the paper once more. Step one had been complete. Step two was to pick an element or perception and try to infuse that specific chakra into it. Tieren had to think about it for a second. Which element would he use for this time? It states that it can be learned multiple times for multiple elements. Seeing as his main element was Lightning, perhaps that would be the best one to start with.

Tieren put the ocarina to his lips as he focused his chakra through his mouth and his fingers. The chakra then was pushed into the Ocarina to prepare for usage. However, this time, Tieren had to do something a bit different. He had to infuse the lightning element INTO his chakra and into the Ocarina. But as he tried to do that, it wasn’t going into his actual instrument. He tried pushing it into the Ocarina, but nothing was happening. He played a note and it went in a little bit, while his chakra swirled throughout the Ocarina.

Tieren stopped playing and looked at his instrument again, then looked to the paper. Reading over it, it had said to infuse the element into the chakra before initially pushing the chakra throughout the instrument. Tieren thought for a second before putting the ocarina to his lips once ago and forced the chakra throughout his mouth and fingers. Though this time, before he started to move the chakra into his instrument, Tieren added the lightning element into his chakra. It was moving a bit slowly, but mixed with his chakra nonetheless.

Once it had fused together, Tieren started pushing the chakra into his instrument. It had a bit more resistance then he was wanting and wasn’t exactly moving into the instrument the way he wanted it to. The chakra was moving in slowly, but eventually, it had moved into the Ocarina to the correct amount. A note was played and held as the chakra, once again, slowly swirled throughout the instrument. He broke the flow of chakra and waited some more before attempting to try again.

Putting his ocarina to his lips, Tieren closed his eyes, focusing chakra through his mouth and his fingers. Once it was at the correct speed and amount, he started to infuse the lightning element into his chakra. It was going quite faster then the last time. He kept fusing lightning with his chakra. Once this was complete, he started to insert the lightning chakra into his instrument, making it go faster then it had the last time. After he felt that it was as far as it could go, he played a note. It was almost complete. Another note finished it. Tieren had to stop for a second. He had to be able to make the chakra swirl around after just one note.

Moving it away from his lips, Tieren took a deep breath before placing it to his lips once more, chakra gathered in his moth and fingers again. The lightning base for it was added to the chakra and spun around in a quick like fashion. He then started to insert the chakra into his instrument and allowed it to spin in the middle of his Ocarina. One note was played, and the chakra spread throughout the instrument. It had seemed that Tieren had successfully inserted the lightning based chakra into his instrument. Pleased with his work, he had pulled it from his lips, looking at the paper again, but then setting it down. He had one more thing he wanted to try.

AS it was now, Tieren was simply adding in the chakra, playing one note, and hoping it went well. But what would happen if he were to play multiple notes? Would the chakra spin faster or compress more in the instrument? He wanted to test it out a bit as he gathered the chakra in his mouth and fingers. Once it was as he wanted it, lightning chakra was added. Once it was at the correct speed and compression, he added it into his ocarina. Playing a note, he felt the chakra at the same way as it usually was, covering the entirety of the instrument.

Now for his test. He needed to see what would happen as he played more notes. Playing another note, it started to swirl around a bit faster. He held it for the length of 3 handseals before switching to another. Then he did the same thing, switching to yet another note. It was spinning faster and faster as he kept adding notes. It seemed that his test was successful and would now know what it would be like when actually trying to perform jutsu. He felt that he was done learning how to perform the melody handseals at a basic level. He would try again if needed, but he felt it was time to find out which note meant which handseal.

It had been quite some time since I had taken to training a technique of my own. But in an effort to push myself to do so, I had chosen to take a mission of massive proportions. Being a Jounin as I was, I found myself capable of doing such a thing. This mission was to simply train one of the more powerful techniques the world had to offer. An S ranked technique. And I had just the perfect one in mind. It was simple in theory, but I knew it would require me to tap into every ounce of my training with the Lightning release to do it.

The technique was one where I would form a claw made purely out of lightning. The result of the technique would be a claw in which I could use in both offense and defense. My father had used it once to defend the village, and I was intent on recreating it. The claw itself was approximately ten meters in length at its normal state, and could easily extend to fifty meters in length with little to no effort. The downside would be the massive expenditure of Chakra it would take in order to do such a thing. But my training needed to occur. It was necessary for me to do this.

My hands flicked over various handseals as my mind thought back to my father performing the technique. It was a wonderful technique that appeared in a flash. A huge claw made of pure lightning chakra. The air around us singed in the process of his creating it. I remembered feeling the heat that came along with it. But he performed it expertly, dancing over a long string of handseals in order to do it. It was thirty handseals exactly, and it took time for me to remember them.

The first was the Ox, strong and unyielding, followed by the dragon for it's power. Hare followed after, swift and true, with bird and tiger coming after that. Ox came once again, followed by horse, rat, dog, and tiger again. Bird, monkey, horse, rat, tiger... The handseals just continued to be formed as I thought back to my father using it. It was hard to follow, and harder to remember. It had been so long, but I could barely picture them in my mind. I was halfway through them, and knew I could remember the others.

Ox, dog, Serpent, boar, Ram, Serpent, bird, horse, ox, tiger, boar, ram, monkey, bird, and ending on Ox once again. I had finally figured out the string of handseals, something I knew I would have to commit to memory. For the handseals were the key to any ninjutsu or genjutsu. Knowing the correct handseals was necessary. I thought once more, making sure I had all thirty in a row. Ox, Dragon, Hare, Bird, Tiger, Ox, Horse, Rat, Dog, Tiger, Bird, Monkey, Horse, Rat, Tiger, Ox, Dog, Serpent, Boar, Ram, Serpent, Bird, Horse, Ox, Tiger, Boar, Ram, Monkey, Bird, and Ox. Those thirty handseals were what I had to remember.

My hands danced over the handseals that I knew and have used numerous times over my lifespan. But now, to perform this many in quick succession. It was definitely difficult. I knew that my training was just beginning, but the key to every technique was to take things slowly. As I formed the handseals once more, I could feel the chakra within me start to churn, the lightning particles in the air coming to life as it felt the pull of my internal energy. I grinned slightly, remembering just how interesting training something new could be.

But I couldn't stop there. I finally flicked through the handseals as rapidly as I could and drew the lightning charged particles toward me. Each and every one of them needed to be used, and multiplied. My right hand extended as I gathered my chakra to my arm. The Claw itself would secure my arm and form into place, but this was merely my initial gathering of lightning. I had no intention of forming the technique itself yet. The particles of lightning gathered around my hand as I watched it form a yellow glow. I could feel the heat that came from it and knew that my lightning was working as necessary. But I knew it needed more. It would take a lot of concentration for such a technique, and even then, learning how to control the massive claw would come after that. I would be tired when I was done, but I would be successful.

The glow around my hand continued to grow as I slowly gathered more and more particles of lightning. They started to form the base of the claw as it moved down my arm, starting at about my elbow. My mind thought back to when my father used the technique once before. It had been an immense claw that seemed impossible even to just hold up in the air. But he wielded it effortlessly against the attacking shinobi. The claw was circular in nature, all the way down to the points of each of the five "fingers". For the initial forming of the claw by myself, I intended to go much smaller scale to start so I could form the shape. The length and power would come later.

From the base at my elbow, I attracted more lightning particles to it. The glow continued up my arm before solidifying with lightning charged chakra. Each individual particle caused the claw to grow millimeter by millimeter. It was miniscule at this point, but such was the beginning of training such a powerful technique. Things took time and, this was no exception. I simple kept my breathing still as I gathered more chakra to my arm and more particles of lightning to go along with it.

Little by little, it continued to grow as I watched it keep forming. It reached halfway down my forearm, creeping up upon my wrist. With each second that passed, I watched it continue to form, focusing solely on the creation of such a soon to be large technique. The solidified chakra reached my wrist before creeping upon my fingers. Each individual finger was slowly encased in a mass of chakra and lightning, each bolt wisping around swiftly and crackling in the process.

The final aspect of the initial forming of this claw came as each finger came to a point. I moved my arm up to my face and felt the heat come off of it as the lightning jolted around the small scale claw. It was nowhere near what my father had produced several years ago, but it was the beginning stages of it. I knew it would require a much more rapid gathering of chakra and lightning particles, and much more. It would have to be near instant to form in order for me to call this technique a success. But instead of just releasing the technique and attempting to form it once more, I decided to work on another aspect of it.

Toward the end of his controlling of such a technique, my father launched it forward and caused it to practically explode in a large burst of lightning. My hand steadied forward as I remembered what he had done for such a thing. With a flick of my chakra, the claw shot from my hand. And successfully went nowhere at all. In fact, the claw itself didn't even fully leave my hand before flopping down and hitting the ground. I looked down and watched as the lightning particles dispersed, skittering across the ground. I gave it a strange look before shrugging. Such was the life of training something new.

I sat down on the ground and focused slightly, knowing I needed to think about the technique my father had down. Without any official scroll to walk me through the steps, I had only the knowledge of the finished product to look at. I knew with time, I would form the 10 meter long claw, the ability my father used once before. I thought back to its full form, a solidified mass of lightning and chakra that created a blast 20 meters wide. It extended to a length of 50 meters. Comparing it to my own, mine was a length of one foot, created no blast, did not extend, and did not fly. I had a lot of work to do.

My hands danced into a flurry of handseals once more, hoping to continue my training of this rather powerful technique. I knew I was getting older in age and my time as an Active shinobi was probably going to come to an end. But I would finish this mission. This one final mission for the village. And with it, this one last technique. Lightning particles became attracted to the chakra I was exerting, gathering it around me and sending it to my extended arm. I closed my eyes and focused. With each passing moment, more lightning particles gathered around my arm and started to solidify from my elbow and forward to my fingers.

The mass creeped upon my arm, slowly extending more and more as half of my forearm was covered before continuing to my wrist and then my hand. With each finger, I focused on it to go to a point, forming the claws that this technique was known for. First the thumb, then the pinky, index, ring, and middle finger. It formed over my hands as I continued to focus my chakra, keeping it in place. This technique was capable of creating a claw that would extend 10 meters past my hand. I had succeeded in getting it to be one foot. I had quite a ways to go, but I was determined to finish this.

My concentration continued to focus on the mass of lightning that surrounded my arm and hand. It slowly started to grow, attracting more charged particles in the air around me. The claw started to grow outward, slowly and surely, extending further in front of me right before my eyes. Two feet, A yard, and then a meter. I couldn't gather any more though. I tried to gather more charged particles, but it just didn't want to. My hand steadied once more as I Aimed it toward the clearing in front of me. My eyes watched forward as the meter long claw hung in front of me.

My chakra aimed it forward as I concentrated. A buildup of chakra would start to fill the inside of the claw as it suddenly launched forward. One meter, Two meters, Five meters, and then... A sudden and light explosion. It wasn't near as powerful, but it was improvement. It was showing me that I was working on it more and more, and with time, I knew that this claw would soon prove to be as massive as my Father had once done. I wasn't sure what would happen when I was finished with it, but it was my final goal.

Realizing how difficult it was to gather the charged Particles before, I decided to go with a different approach. My hands danced across handseals and formed three Lightning marbles in between them. It was my Signiture technique and that was what I intended on using. My hand shot forward as they exploded just out of the range of them hitting me. My hands quickly formed the handseals for the claw technique and I could see the particles becoming attracted to my chakra right away. It seemed that my plan worked as the claw started to form right away.

The claw started forming around my elbow first and quickly shot over my forearm. It started to slow down, but even then, it wasn't that slow. It formed around my wrist and then hand, quickly forming the points for the claw and it still didn't stop there. It started growing to the right size rather quickly. But alas, it did slow down at about three meters and stop at about four. But still, upon looking at the large claw at the end of my arm, it was interesting to try and wield it. Now I was able to move it around and watch as it whipped through the air.

But I was intent on growing it longer. My eyes closed as I concentrated. I was tired of forming the same handseals over and over again. This had the potential to grow up to 50 meters with 10 meters being the basic level. More lightning was drawn from around me as I snagged all that I could. The claw continued to grow, yet I was running out of breath. I opened my eyes now as I looked at the 10 meter long claw and smiled. It was doing what I wanted it to, but now I had to make it grow even more.

With a quick burst of my Chakra, I gathered everything I could. The Claw shot out far, stretching to 25 meters before stopping. I nodded as I concentrated my chakra even more, forcing the end of the claw to explode. The blast reached out 10 meters roughly, and for that, I was pleased. I had succeeded in getting the base length down, half of the extended length, and half of the blast radius. I had much more work to do, but I was proud of myself for how far things had gone. It was just a matter of letting it continue even more.

Effect: This skill enables a character to observe the actions or habitat of an animal and interpret what is going on as well as identifying said animal.

Drawback: ---
Description: Actions can show how dangerous the creature is, whether it is hungry, protecting its young, or defending a nearby den. Furthermore, careful observation of signs and behaviors can even indicate the location of a water hole, animal herds, predators, or impending danger, such as a forest fire. A successful check means the character understands the basic actions of the creature, as well as the type of creature it is. A character may also imitate the calls and cries of animals that he is reasonably familiar with, based on the knowledge (user must learn per Region). This ability is limited by volume. A successful check means that only Chakra means can distinguish the character's call from that of a true animal. The cry is sufficient to fool animals, perhaps frightening them away or luring them closer. When learning the user must choose per Region and they may only have knowledge of Animals creatures. Each Skill level allows the user knowledge of each Animal category (Example: Novice can identify Common Animals, Master can identify Nearly Impossible Animals) within a region. Each time learned user gets 5 die roll to increase the skill.

Today was a light training day, something quite simple for me to work on. After all.... All I cared to do now was to look up information on various animals. Today my focus was on the animals of the Mountains. The mountains were quite numerous within the Land of Thunder and even the village itself. So looking for animals that resided within the mountains was wonderful.

I made my way to a library, where I started to read up on the animals that lived in the area. I decided to start with the most basic of the animals. The ones that could be found quite easily. Rats, Sheep, Bears, Baboons, Eagles, and various birds were among the most common to be found on the mountain.

Each and every single one of them acted in a different way, and of course, they could all be found differently. Rats were smaller and would take some keen eyes to find, whereas bears were large, but not entirely easy to take down should the need arise. And then there were the birds and eagles which could fly away rather quickly if one wasn't fast enough to get to them.

The sheep seemed to be the easiest, their wool weighing them down a little. And being quite abundant, it was easy to find them. I looked into them a little more, looking over the various pictures. Bears being large and covered with brown fur, birds of all sizes and shapes, rats being small and gray as usual.

Then came baboons. Multicolored vicious primates who strangely enough don't attack unless provoked. The creatures of the mountain were quite a variety. And I had only barely scratched the surface. There were less common creatures to be found, but I hoped to, soon enough, learn about them all. The properties of the various animals could prove quite useful to the already large amount of herbs held here by the village.

Kage Bunshin no Jutsu (Shadow Clone Technique)

Effect: This technique creates clones of the user. However, these clones are actual copies, not illusions.
Special: "Clone Seal"
Drawback: The user's chakra is evenly distributed among every clone, giving each clone an equal fraction of the user's overall power.
Description: The clones are capable of performing techniques on their own and can even bleed, but will usually disperse after 1 or 2 solid blows. They can also disperse on their own. The clones will be created in roughly the same condition as the original. Shadow clones cannot be distinguished from the actual person even by the Byakugan because the clones have the exact same amount of chakra and aren't made from any other substance. A characteristic that is unique to the Shadow Clone Technique is that any experience the clones gain during their existence is transferred to the user once they are dispersed. This makes the technique ideal for spying, since the user can simply send a clone to spy on a target, then have the clone disperse itself without returning to pass the information back to the user. (Cannot gain extra training points through training with Shadow clone.) User is able to make up to 5 clones at a time. Takes the amount of time to perform a "B" Rank Jutsu. Shadow Clones may travel between different threads within the same board.

As I left the tower, scroll in hand, I made my way to a field not far from the tower. I didn't feel like going far seeing as I was just going to be training for a mission. So what was the point in leaving so far away if I would be right back there? As I made my way over to the field, ensuring that I was alone, I opened up the scroll that I had been given. It was the Shadow Clone Technique. This was a technique that required one to be a certain rank in the village to learn. There weren't many of those out there. As I surpassed that rank, I had nothing to fear. But it was still going to take a lot out of me.

As I read over the technique on the scroll, everything seemed basic to what I had remembered when hearing about it. The purpose of the technique itself was to create one of the most real clones out there. It was different from elemental clones and genjutsu clones in that these were made solely from your chakra. They could think independently, do what they wished, and every bit of weaponry was copied and made just as real. The greatest catch to it was that it required one to split their chakra evenly between the number of clones. So if the technique was used right at the beginning of battle to create one clone, both the original and the clone would be at 50% chakra. It meant that it had to be done in only the most extreme of circumstances.

When I continued to read the scroll, I learned more about how it could be used for spying purposes. And that when the clone was dispelled, all knowledge it gained independent of myself would be transferred back to me. I knew this would be beneficial when carrying out my investigations of the corrupted council. I'd have to inform Marii that this was something I learned. In the meantime, I further noticed that these clones weren't very defensive. It only took one or two blows for the clones to dissipate. That meant that if my clone got close and received one solid punch, the chakra I put into it would be for waste and I would be stuck at half capacity or lower. I would definitely have to be strategic when choosing to use this technique.

The scroll also explained the handsign for it. It was a simple sign that was used for all Shadow Clone techniques. The forefinger and the middle finger extended out on both hands and put into the form of a cross. This simple seal was all it took to conjure up a shadow clone. I would still have to focus my chakra, of course. But the Handsign meant that it would be easy to perform in a pinch. I briefly read over the other techniques, but all others said they also used the same handsign. It meant that my chakra alone would determine what I was doing, not the handsigns like in most techniques.

I closed up the scroll and thought about what I had read. Not only would I have to focus my chakra to a point of recreating myself in solid form, I'd also have to do so for my equipment and clothing as well. I knew that I had the ability to create the basic clones learned at the academy, as well as the Water and Lightning elemental clones. But the academy clones were just simple illusions not really meant to fool anyone except in a pinch. As far as the elemental clones, they had a medium behind it. Water clones were comprised of water and lightning clones of lightning. They had a base to it. Shadow clones were pure chakra molded into a complete image of the user. It was going to be far trickier than I had anticipated.

I leaned back and further thought about times where I had seen it used before. I knew that on the outside, it was pretty difficult to determine the difference between them and elemental clones. Both had the exact likeness of the user. But the overall difference of the shadow clones was immense compared to just their outward appearance. From my position, I put my hands together in the cross like handsign for the clones. I slowly felt my chakra swell up within me. My body knew what to do when such a sign was made. It was all about making it happen. But as I did what I could to expel the chakra, a clone was made. At first, through the smoke of the creation, I thought it was easier than I let myself believe. But as I looked at my first attempt, I noticed that there was no face, no hair, no distinguishing features. There was no clothing or even reproductive organs. The fact was... It looked just like a mannequin in a clothing store. Simply there to show off some article of clothing. I jumped up and looked over it to see if I did anything right. But it didn't even have the same body shape as me. This was going to take a lot of time and effort.

My hand swiftly unleashed a punch upon the 'clone' I had created after I was satisfied with what I had looked over. Furthermore, I also felt like my chakra wasn't halfway gone like it should have been. It meant that, without a doubt, my clone was not successful, not that I had believed it was to begin with. So I decided to take a page from my own book. I had trained the lightning and water clones by slowly working through the steps. As I gathered chakra, I would create the body in stages. The first step was to get the overall body shape and facial features to actually look like me. Following that, I had to incorporate clothing. Then the equipment that I carried around with me. And finally, different from when I had learned the other clones, I had to make sure this one had independent thoughts and could act on its own free will.

I sat down on the ground once more and place my hand within the cross handsign. But instead of quickly building up chakra and then releasing it, I slowly built up chakra, picturing myself within my head. I used the mannequin like clone that I had created as a base. I knew that it didn't have my body image in the slightest, and it needed that. So I focused on myself and the image at the same time, slowly but surely adapating what I looked like to the mannequin image that I had in my head. First were the legs. I slowly shaped my lower and upper legs to my own, adding in muscle at certain parts, taking it away in others. I could feel my chakra circulating within me as I did so, slowly morphing into a likeness of myself.

From there I moved to my arms. Again, muscles were tweaked slightly to make the shape that it needed to be. I also gave the appearance of bones, particularly in the hands to make it seem more real. The mannequin like clone looked just like a mannequin would. Basically... hard plastic. Now I was morphing it to give it skin, muscle, bones, basically... texture. I moved to my stomach and chest, slowly adding in abs and natural weight. Even down to the exact look of my navel. Everything had to be perfect. I moved to my back, allowing it to take a natural shape to follow the rest of my body.

It was strange when I got to my waist and groin. I had never really paid too much attention to my own genitals before, but even they had to be perfect. If something happened, my clone's body needed to match mine exactly, down to the number of hairs upon it. So I focused there as well, allowing it to take shape in my head. I moved to my rear to do the same, again finding it odd to put so much emphasis on its shape. Once my overall body was the correct shape, size, and look, I moved up toward my head. Hair was added to the image in my head, brown hair with yellow highlights to it. From there, it was molded to the correct shape and given depth so it could actually move freely. Now that I was working through that, it was rather interesting. I made it move in ways that it should. Such as if someone were to run a finger through it. It was intriguing to actually manipulate something in your head like that.

But once I was satisfied, I moved to my facial features. Eyes, nose, mouth, etc. All of these were added to the otherwise blank face in just the right way. I fought the urge to focus on my glasses for now. As it was now, I was focusing solely on the features of my body. Once I was satisfied that everything was in place, I had to ensure that everything moved as it was supposed to as well. I manipulated arms and legs, neck and spine, and so on. Every joint and muscle needed to move as necessary. I also focused on what I knew of human anatomy to ensure that on the inside, it would look to have the same natural organs of a human. I knew I couldn't make those look like mine, but that was impossible seeing as I had no idea what mine looked like. Everything I'd done up to that point was working as planned, but I had one final thing to do. My chakra was expelled and the image in my head was created beside me, just as naked as I had envisioned it. I grabbed arms and legs and moved them around as they should. It had been successful, but the blank expression on its face showed me that it wasn't quite complete. But that would come later. For now, I was making progress.

A swift punch removed the likeness of myself once more. I was grateful none had come by as there was a naked clone of myself standing there. I didn't necessarily care to explain to others why I had produced a clone and why he was naked. Others might assume that I was into certain things that I was not. With that aside, I was pleased with my progress. Now it was time to work on the clothing.

I sat down once again and formed the cross handsign. Chakra flooded through me as I did so, focusing on the mental image of myself. After double checking all over the body to ensure that everything was where it needed to be, I made sure all the joints worked again. I had to re-check every step along the way to ensure that I hadn't regressed in my attempts to work through everything. Once I was satisfied that everything I had already completed, I thought of the clothing upon my body.

On me I was currently wearing simple shoes, blue jeans, a yellow long sleeved shirt, a thick blue vest, my yellow rimmed glasses, and finally my yellow gemmed ring. That was all the clothing I had aside from equipment and the like. But that would come at a later time. For now, I had to try and form fabrics in my head and ensure that they moved as they should.

I created a basic outline for it to begin with. More or less... I created a yellow blob of some material on my torso, a white blob for underwear followed by blue for the jeans, white for the shoes, blue for the vest, and yellow for the glasses and ring. The items colors were where they needed to be, but now it needed to take shape. The shirts were easy enough, considering the fabric was relatively smooth. But as I started to form the jeans, that was different.

Jeans had a different texture than my shirt's fabric. It was interwoven in such a way that had to make sure it looked as though they were actually jeans. Not to mention the pockets, button, and zipper all needed to be included. But slowly and surely I worked through and got it to look genuine and real. If it wasn't for the fact that these would only be chakra based, it would almost seem like an easy way to not have to purchase clothing ever again. But get hit once and the clothes would be gone. Not fun to be on the battlefield as your clothing turns to smoke.

Shoes needed laces in the right place, which was done with a little bit of effort. The ring was tricky to get the gem just right, and to create the clear lenses of the glasses was something I was certainly not used to, but it had to be done with no complaints. This technique was meant to help me throughout my missions to help reclaim the cloud village from the corruption that has plagued it. I had no choice but to succeed.

Once all the pieces were where they belonged, I had to manipulate them. The easiest way was to simulate wind within my head. A breeze that came through at that time seemed to help as I used the wind to move the fabric in the way it was supposed to. It was made to rest upon the clones body as it would normally. Rain was used to simulate the water on clothing as well as the glasses. It was a wonderful exercise that seemed to be quite successful.

Finally, I gathered the chakra to my hands. It was time to see it before me. All the work I had just put into it was released in one burst as the clone appeared in front of me. It was just as I had hoped. I touched the clothing to ensure that it was moving as it needed to, also making sure that the body was still the way it was supposed to be. I also found that the clothing could be removed as well, and that the body below was the way it was supposed to be. Everything was working perfectly thus far. But I had a ton of weapons that needed to be duplicated as well.

With the clothing in place, I found it necessary to eliminate this clone. I was getting closer, but I also had quite a large number of weapons that needed to be accounted for. Without those weapons, there would be a clear difference between me and the clone. After all, even at official meetings and such, my equipment was with me. To be without it would almost be like being naked. And that just wouldn't do.

I sat down once more and concentrated my chakra with the cross hand sign. With the body and the clothing added in to ensure that everything matched up the way it was supposed to, I needed to move onto my equipment. The largest one, and the one that would stand out the most would be the large holster upon my back. Within it was my large metal staff and dual bladed naginata. I slowly formed them in my head, placing them where they were meant to go and ensured that they were of proper length and texture.

Once those were in place, I went toward the smaller items. Things like my wireless radio, mono goggle with attachments, and even all the way down to the singular soldier pill within my pocket. I put the gauntlets on my hands and ensured that they had the proper attachments. Everything had to be perfect, and I would settle for nothing less.

I put on the four different weapon holders on my body and made sure that the right amount of Kunai, Shuriken, Exploding Tags, and so on were within those pouches. They had to be placed in the same order that they would be found within my own pouches. If even one thing was off, then everything could be blown in a mission. They had to fit in just right and be position in just the right place upon the body.

My ocarina and crystal ball was also added. These were items that didn't get much use from me, but was still a part of me. It had to be included just the same. But that wasn't all... these weapons needed to be functional. The crystal ball had to look like it had the smoke in it. The sharp weapons needed to be sharp. The ocarina had to be able to play music, so it had to have the right aerodynamics to it. The gauntlets had to work just right with the correct enhancements.

Finally, to complete the whole ensemble, I had to put in all of the augmentations I had received. The gills, the water-dependency, the prehensile tail, the ability to receive and transmit signals through my mind, the elemental throwers that rested within my arms. Everything had to be included. This was an exact replica of myself, and it had to play the part.

Once more, I was satisfied that everything was in its place and behaved the way it was intended. Chakra was expelled as another clone of myself was created. Everything looked wonderful and where it belonged. I took out some of the weapons from the pouches and made sure that they worked as intended. Everything was where it needed to be with one fatal exception. His face still looked completely devoid of all feeling. He needed personality. More importantly... He needed my personality. That was by far going to be the most difficult thing to do. It wasn't exactly easy getting your personality into another. And that was what I needed to do right now.

Clothing, Equipment, General body shape, facial features... All of it was present on the clone before me. It was, in essence, a copy of myself. If others had seen this from a distance, They would think it was just another me. I removed every piece of equipment from him, ensuring that it was all as real as it could be despite being made out of chakra. Every weapon needed to be removed and messed with in some regard. I also worked on removing the clothing to ensure those were all separate entities. At one point, this clone was standing there just as naked as it had been after I had molded the mannequin looking one. And once I had gotten to that point, it was dismissed. All equipment and clothing that had been scattered upon the floor was dismissed as well. I was ready to give it life now.

This time, when I formed the cross hand sign, I focused my chakra and quickly created the same image that I had just removed. Basic shape, body shape, features, face, clothing, equipment. All of it was quickly put into form. But that blank, expressionless face needed to change. Little by little I thought of how best to go about inputting an entire personality into it. Especially considering it was my own. It took a few minutes but I finally figured out a great way to do it.

I started to implant my memories. Things that I had done in the past. It would not only give some history to recollect when necessary, but show how I've acted in certain situations. I remembered what it was like as my family helped me out. Each one seemed to follow a different path. With five brothers, it was easy to get lost amongst them. But they never seemed to mind much. They all treated me with respect and took my questions to heart. It showed my stance on family and what role they played in my life.

I moved on to thinking about my friends that I'd made over the years. Teammates, comrades, mentors, teachers... All of them played an important role in my life, and I slowly showed the clone how to treat them as well. I went through what it was like to become a genin, then a chuunin, and finally a jounin. I showed it what it was like being Raikage for a short period of time. All key moments in my life that would need to be known.

And as I went through all of these memories, I could see the emotionless face disappear little by little. A smile, a tear, a scowl... All of these emotions flash upon the clone's image. I knew that it was working. More memories and emotions were poured into him. And finally, when I was satisfied with how things had been going... I gave him my voice. I could almost hear myself talking within my head. But I knew that I had to do more with this image.

I expelled the chakra out and looked upon the clone. He looked at me, his head now moving, his eyes following me. I smiled as I looked at my work, noticing a smile following suit. I had done it. I had given this clone life. I had made it more like me. But I knew my training wasn't complete. After a short conversation, making sure the voice was there, I dismissed this clone. There was one final step in making this clone. I had to do it with speed.

I stood there and took a deep breath before forming the cross hand sign. Chakra was gathered quite rapidly through my body, similarly to how I had started out. In my head, the basic mannequin appeared. Quickly changing to the correct body shape of myself. Then clothes materialized, followed by equipment. Finally, he smiled just as I felt half of my chakra expend out and create another likeness of myself. I felt quite drained from losing so much chakra at once, but I knew that I had to try one more thing.

Together we both formed a set of handseals before forming six small marbles within our hands. These marbles coursed with lightning as we fired them off. He could perform the same techniques as myself and I couldn't be happier. This technique was sure to be of use to the village, and especially in the upcoming missions of taking back cloud away from corruption. Marii would likely be pleased that I had learned this technique.
