Reigning in a new Era [Event]

The soft drops of rain that fell over Amegakure would come to a slow halt on this day, a day of celebration for the entire village. The council was no more and a new Kage would step to the fore front to lead his people in their glorious uprising to their former strength. There was no vigor, no passion on this planet right now that could match the happiness of the new Kage and his people as they marched forth into this new age. There would be challenges, oh yes many, however they would all overcome them together. Villagers hurried about, speaking in buzzing tones as they brought out stalls full of treats and clothing. The village was undergoing a complete make over as it's people pulled out all the stops to honor the heroes of this new era. Not only would the Kage make his first real appearance, the heroes who fought would be recognized publicly for the first time.

A stage would be erected within the center of the village, many tents set up about it that held tables and chairs beneath them. Here one could not be sure when it would rain again. AnBu prowled the roof tops as they ensured that nothing went wrong on this day, preparing the area for the Kage himself. They would sweep over and over again until the hour he arrived for traps, making sure that nothing would take a turn for the worse. The kage himself would be sitting upon a building, only fifteen meters away from where the main event would take place, silently contemplating what he would say. The long flowing robes that showed his position would ruffle within the wind as he pulled the hat down some with his hand. "What will I do for them..? Hopefully my path is the correct one.." he said to himself as he noted the AnBu prowling who thought they could hide from him.

So we have yet another Kage....our last ones fought against the Council. Now he is the one who steps up as Amegakure enters peace....Wonder how it'll be like?

As Seion walked the streets towards the Kage's inauguration, he could not help but remember the past Kages that he had met. He had held great respect for all of them, though perhaps a little more reserved with the respect with Syoara-sama. He looked at the sky. There was a possibility of rain, though today was not a bad day to hold this event. There were some rays of sunshine coming out, though clouds dominated the sky. Seion gracefully and slowly walked around the tents. There were some that he knew and he talked with them for a little before moving on, looking around. There were not many people that he knew, even though he had been here for quite a while already. He did not mind, though he kept his eyes out for anybody who was recognizable to him. Seion took a free drink and lightly leaned against one of the tent's frames, taking his time sipping while observing.

"This drink's not bad."

Sugegasa tipped over his face, obscuring his countenance to all but the most astute observers Souzen would manuever in and out through the crowd. Azure orbs would gaze at the sun, noting its brilliant shine as auric brilliance cascaded over Amekagure. It seems the inhospitable climes he was normally used to were absent on this day. Soft sigh escaping his lips he would sit on a bench near a drink vendor. Paying a few ryo for a cold cup of sake Souzen would sip it slowly. Savouring the look of his old home, the almost palpable feeling in the air. Even the milling crowds of people that surrounded him. All of it filled him with exultation. However close Moyoushi had grown to his heart Amekagure was still his homeland. To that end he was here today, assuring himself that the village was falling into safe and capable hands.

He had left the AnBu upon entering the village and would make his way with the crowd keeping himself quiet for now. But he would spot a man ducking through crowds, and then finally setting down. Interesting thoughts would run through the young Uchiha's mind. He would approach the vendor's area and order a simple glass of water. Upon receiving it he would take a sip and then place his left hand on his shoulder. "Why do you seem so familiar?" Koga's voice would be kept low and quiet. He didn't wish to cause any unnecessary attention, just the two sitting there having a conversation would be fine.

Lost within the depths of his own mind Souzen would barely register the hand on his shoulder, nor the voice that followed. Sugagesa still adorning his crown he would turn, the look of slight astonishment upon his eyes hidden by the simple straw hat. Surely no one in this village could recognize him? his appearance had changed so much in just this past year?

"Ahhhh I know not good sir! Mayhaps you've seen me upon your travels?"

Yet, even as these words left his lips eyes would register the speakers identity. Surely? This man had an almost uncanny likeness to the godaime...but he was murdered, long ago. His fall had elevated Souzen to the vaulted position...nay, it was just a coincidence...nothing more.

With such a response, he was unsure, yet Koga had this feeling in his gut that this man was familiar. Not on any form of close level, but more of the aura around him. The man seemed like a prodigy in a sense, but he couldn't put his finger on it. "I don't get out that much, so that couldn't be it," he would respond to the man he had approached. "Perhaps your name would ring a bell?" he would indirectly ask for the man's name without giving his own first. If Koga didn't pursue this he would be bothered by it for hours and that's not something he wanted.

Eyes blazing with curiousity Souzen would listen to the strangers words. Throat tightening as he professed his lack of travelling, even moreso the man would ask for his name. Hiding astonishment quite easily Souzen would reply, his voice rich and smooth, an alias already upon his mind quickly.

"Tetsu Minyoshi... a resident of Moyoushi and self professed wanderer."

Losing no time Souzen would quickly press the man with a question, hoping to turn his mind from Souzen.

" If I may ask? Who is it I'm speaking to on the day of the new kage's coronation?"

The name wasn't opening any new doors, but now Koga could be in some trouble. The man had gone and asked him of his own name, Koga would have to oblige such a thing. He couldn't lie now, he was back from the dead and he intended for it to stay that way. "Well, keep this quiet for now but..." he would begin to say as he then looked around to see if anyone was listening. "Uchiha, Koga," the voice would remain low and quiet, Koga was back.

Sun finally shown through the dark clouds over Amegakure as the young ninja would make his way into the heart of the village. A special event was talking place today. This was a good chance to get out and about.

He entered near a mask vender and looked around at the scenery. It was a beautiful day. Everyone was celebrating and a few people had already been hitting the sake a bit early. Chatter arose everywhere and people danced in the steets. Everything and a little more that you might find at a celebration. He smiled at a group of girls that passed him by feeling a bit embarrased. "Might as well enjoy myself." He picked up a drink nearby and gulped it down, and then took a mask from the vendor where he entered. He put it on ontop of his head and smiled as he pulled it down. Venturing to the center of the people flailing about dancing he would join them.

Mare heard of the news that a festival would be held for the new Amekage... but that was the last thought on his mind right now. He was still thinking about the offer and plan that Syoara had given to him earlier. Maybe she had something planned for this little festival... maybe not... but she was planning something big. Was it happening now... soon... or in the distance future Mare didn't know, but he knew one little piece of information. He had given his compleate loyalty to Syoara-sama... and the Council is loyal to her as well. It was also evident to him that she wanted to rule Amegakure... and even more.

The teen slowly strode down the stone-paved streets. There was clitter-clatter of little kids sandles hitting againts it. There was fire crackers... and some kids were holding and playing with some sparklers. There were consession stands all over... with foreign food... and some local gourmet. There was a wide variety of drinks, candy, and other tasty snacks. "I... never seen this place like this" the boy said with a little groan. "I guess... there celebrating... those scum... that betrayed the Council... are throwing a grand festival... because of it" he mummbled to himself in anger as he clenched his fists.

He knew he couldn't do anything about it now... but soon the time will come. The boy just slowly walked over to a stand... and bought a drink, and a burger. He then sat down at a nearby table... to have his meal. He was cautiosly eating his food... and watching everything around him. He had to be on full alert... just incase Syora tries something now...

"Uchiha, Koga,"

The name uttered would pierce the abject silence that had enveloped Souzen's consciousness as he had stared at the strangers countenance. Cerulean eyes would narrow dangorously. The godaime had been murdered most foully by the council in front of the entire village, it had been done before Souzen had returned and become Rokudaime. Just who was this man to so wantonly carry the name and face of such a departed hero? Anger and indignation would blaze forth in his breast as Souzen would struggle to control the tempo of his voice.

" Uchiha Koga eh? You must be mistaken...he died long ago fighting the depravity that infested this nation...Now, tell me your real name...stranger."

With that Souzen would await his response, certainly irked by this certain imposter.

A casual step into the atmosphere was all that I needed to become quite aware that I wouldn't like this festival. There was too much jolly occasion here for the simple coronation of a new Kage. Ah, yes, there was more to celebrate than that, now wasn't there? The defeat of a corrupt Council, their deaths confirmed by the bodies placed inside of the caskets at the funerals; the ascension of yet another proud Ame shinobi into the ranks of Amekage; the survival of a Kage through the struggles of the Council; and soon to come, the rebirth of Amegakure no Sato as all of the villagers would know it. A cold smile crawled up my face. These people would learn what it was like to truly be under the rule of Hitsugaya Syoara soon enough.

My eyes would run to the left and to the right, picking up specific individuals. It was to a certain two people that my eyes would wander to and linger on. Something inside of my heart told me that I knew these people, and such it was that I would appear next to them, my body having moved through the space between here and there in a mere moment's time, the power of Shunshin no Jutsu carrying me. Standing close now, my eyes would continue to look at the two. I only managed to catch the last bit of the conversation, but that was more than enough to warn me that I certainly needed to continue my evesdropping.

"Uchiha Koga, eh?" The man's voice carried, even though I'm sure that wasn't his intention. The rest of what was said was immaterial; all that mattered were the first two words. Was it true that Koga was alive? If so, he could prove a powerful potential enemy and one that I might have need to remove of soon. However, I needed to see how this situation played out. I would remain close enough to continue to hear the conversation and, if perchance one of the two shinobi before me realized exactly who I was, or that there was someone listening, I was already prepared to join into their conversation.

So, this was the grand festival, eh? It didn't seem all that grand to Kaori. She walked patiently, slowly into the scene, looking at all the different villagers and shinobi from Ame who she had seen, maybe talked to once, but didn't really know. She sighed to herself, wondering when the Amekage was going to make his entrance with his nicely prepared speech about the defeat of the council and the rise of a grand new Rain Village! It was true that Kaori wanted Rain to be up there with Sand and Leaf, but she wanted her village to be free, not corrupt. She had been in Rain for a pretty long period of time and had only seen greed, corruption, murder, and criminals. True, she wasn't a saint herself, but she respected her village. She had received much from it and she had given back as best she could. But if conditions didn't improve in Rain, she would need to change her loyalties to a faction that would support her best.

Shaking the thoughts from her head, Kaori looked to everybody, making her way through the dozens upon dozens of people who had gathered here. All of them were just looking for that ray of shining hope through the dark clouds. They would drown in sorrow if this new Amekage wasn't the answer to their prayers, though, wouldn't they? Kaori had only spoken to him once, not that long ago either, so she was looking forward to his speech. She continued to think about it as she got through the back of the crowd and sighed to herself. She saw somebody who looked rather familiar sitting at a table by himself. She walked over to him (Mare).

She brushed long, gray strands of hair from in front of her eyes. Her arms fell at her sides inside of the huge sleeves of her robe. Her lips parted to speak just a few words. "Mind if I join you?"

So many people were he now. All of them celebrating the new Amegakure. A smile came across his face. He took the mask he had been wearing off and stuffed it inside of his white kimono top. Though he had been here for almost two years now he did not see anyone he really knew. This might have been because he was a little anti-social at times when he was caught up in his thoughts, but his mind seemed at ease now. His search finally ended once he saw Souzen. This was the first shinobi he knew when he first ventured into Ame.

His apperance had changed since the last time he had saw him, but it had been a while since their last encounter, ever since the council was ceased. Walking slowly he would notice a few other familiar faces around him. It seemed as if he was busy so he would keep his distance. He found himself one stall away from the conversation and took a seat. Waiting and trying not to be rude by ease dropping. "I would like to order some eel with rice please." He said to the stall vendor.

So, this is the grand festival huh, so we have a new Kage I guess. Knowing that the last Kage fought a lot with the councils of the village. Since we have a new kage; I wonder how things would turn out and hopefully, the corruption and evil wouldn't be reborn again in the village.

As he entered through the large doors, he looked and gazed around at all the villagers and shinobi of the Hidden Rain Village. Strolling through the floors of the festival, continuing to look at all the people who he had mostly spoken to and met at least once, living in the village for his entire life mostly. Signed, Kouga wondered when is the new Amekage going to appear. Knowing that he had already met him since the Amekage is actually his sensei which is a rare thing in the shinobi world, since only a small handfull of shinobi are chosen to become the students of a single kage. Waitin patiently until the Amekage makes his appearance and gives his speech to the civilians of the village. Strolling through the dozens and dozens of people of the village being gathered in a single place, knowing and thinking to himself that the new Amekage would be the light that would shine through the dark clouds of the village. While struggling and pushing his way through the massive crowd that had gathered, he moved his way to a table filled with refreshments for everyone. After several minutes of making his way through the crowd, he reached the table and grabbed a drink. Then after lending against the table with his drink in his hand, Kouga just watched and waited patiently for his sensei, the Amekage to make his appearance to the rest of the village.

Through my genetically enhanced eyes I watched the many denizens of the festival squabble around, enjoying themselves. I wasn’t quite at the festival, but through the use of my Byakugan I was able to watch despite me not actually being there. It wouldn’t be long however, before I arrived at the festival myself. Close enough to no longer need my bloodline, they would be deactivated and into the fray would I proceed.

My eyes would flicker from right to left and back, observing the plethora of faces that attended the grand event. The thought of a new kage concerned me very little, for I had grow up in a household where both parents strongly supported the council. Of course, personally, I never took a side; I was never really concerned with “politics” so to say. Of all the people, there was on familiar face that I recognized, and the large gourd and grayish white hair made it almost impossible for me to be wrong.

Casually, I would begin to move toward the Kaguya beauty, for in truth she was the only (besides a few people I saw around the village) figure I recognized. Without hesitance would my figure move forth and despite the crowd that blocked my path, I would steadily continue my troop.

Zag was lost in the festival, every thing was so well decorated for the new kage some this part of the village was nearly unrecognisable, he just moved with the crowds untill he could find a good spot to see the stage, he remebered a year ago when he saw the fifth kage publicly executed at one of these speechs, but the people recovered, when number six came about all the fanfare had wiped away in a rally against the countries council, then he buggered off and we had number seven, possibly the shortest tenure as kage ever, naturally he was curious about who this years model would be, he's always the last to know about whats going on in the village.

Walking through the streets of the village, Muteki felt proud in the fact that not only had he helped the resistance bring this new possibility of prosperity to fruition, but he took comfort in the fact that as a rebel leader he was being welcomed back to his one time home with open arms. It had been a long struggle, and he had trained many ninja throughout the course of the rebellion, and he genuinely saw the good he had done. It was nice to be able to call someplace home again, even if you did plan on leaving when you could. Traveling was to much fun, and he had gained to much from it to be kept in just the rain village forever. But it was nice….

His feet pitter pattered across the paving stones, and came to the concession area. There was a relatively large crowd here, but they were spaced out among the large area granted to the stalls. He was headed towards the drink stand for some sake, when he saw her. Syoara seemed to be just standing there, looking around. He knew the latest Amekage departure. She had been instrumental in the rebellion, and Muteki had met her before, but never really gotten any chance to know her. Perhaps this celebration was the time? Muteki casually walked with his cloak swaying back and forth around him. He had taken to wearing the cloak since the time he had snuck back into the village and join the resistance. It had become rather comfortable.

As he got to Syoara, he began to talk, but the words never came. She seemed to disappear. Something strange was going on if that was the case. He began scanning the crowd, and that’s when he saw it. One was standing there with a large hat on his head, and the other… Muteki got a view of him from the side…*it couldn’t be* was his only thought. His mind went red. The anger boiled within him. That bastard, or some scum disguised as him dared come back to this village? Standing there, now putting up his cowl, which would very likely be unnoticeable through the crowd when in a conversation. Muteki began acting upon his anger (I am roughly 15 feet away from the conversation), Muteki’s cloak was wrapped around him with the intended targets head towards the man in the hat. Muteki’s hands would begin forming hand seals beneath his cloak. Then he would point with his hands still underneath his cloak at the figure still looking the other direction, his fate was most likely sealed.

As his hand seals had been finished, just above the skin on the man (Koga’s) back and ankles, four bits of water formed from the vapors in the sky. They were barely the size of flies as they hovered there, and suddenly were shot forward towards the figure. Whether or not he was Koga Uchiha or not, anyone to carry the image must die. Each tiny spear of water would head for a different spot on his back, the figures own body obscuring them from his vision. One spear would be intended for the mans heart, another for each Achilles tendon on each leg, and the fourth would head for the top of his spine at the base of his neck. They were tiny now, but if they struck they would grow outwards from the mans body into the image of longs spears made of water. He would feel Muteki’s wrath for impersonating the person who he thought to have betrayed his trust. Very likely after this event, no matter the outcome, the nearby villagers would scurry away, but few would be able to tell it was Muteki’s person that the water originated from.

So a group of interesting people have come together.....ironic.

Seion smiled as he observed the group with an unknown man, Syoara, and another man who resembled someone Seion knew very well. Suddenly, a memory came back to him and Seion recognized the man as the Rokudaime Amekage. Of course, Seion was not sure, but this was his intuition. He decided to move in a little closer to the conversation that was going on between the three. Surprisingly, he saw another man whom he recognized. The two of them had first met when Souzen was with both of them at the time. From there on, Seion had seen him from time to time when the Resistance operated against the Council. While they weren't the best of friends, they were by no means strangers, as they had been comrades in arms. So Seion moved to sit next to Hiro, but overheard two words, a name, one that shocked Seion though he only showed it by slowing his pace. He quietly sat down next to Hiro.

Uchiha Koga? How can that be?

"Hiro, it's been a while. It seems that we think alike."

Seion gave a soft chuckle as he raised his cup to his lips again. Whether it was coincidence or not, Hiro did sit somewhere quite close to Souzen and company. Seion tended not to believe in coincidences, so he assumed the latter. Seion turned around and looked around while leaning back against the stall. He used his eyes to see how good the weather was, but instead his eyes latched onto several pieces of chakra, water chakra. On alert, he quickly scanned the area around him. His eyes showed him a man made of water, who clearly stood out from the rest of the crowd. He smiled. He had met this man as well. Now this was going to be something interesting to watch. Seion lightly tapped the stall to get Hiro's attention.

"Something interesting is going to happen. You probably would not want to miss this."

Shuugoumanako [Stage 2]

Effect: The ninja is able to see the elements of Water, Lightning and Wind as thin strands of Chakra in the natural Line of Sight (not 360, only where he can see), up to the range of 100 feet (34 yards approximately). He can determine the differences between the three, see its flow, and recognise disturbances. It also allows them to see people by the flow of Water and Lightning within them naturally, clearly diserning them from objects. As such, E-rank and C-Rank genjutsu have no effect on him as he can see the elements rather than the chakra or body. However, B-rank genjutsu and higher still work against him. Also, heavy uses of Water and/or Lightning in the area can confuse the vision provided, temporarily rendering the Shuugoumanako useless for seeing opponents. Finally, the ninja can use D-rank Jutsu's from Water, Lightning and Wind with one less hand seal (or none if they only have one), but not Blood Limit Jutsu's.

With the words spoken by the so called traveler doubt in Koga's identity would be reassuring he would be safe. But just as he was feeling safe quick movements would catch his attention. A sunshin through the crowd placing a woman not more then four feet from him, she was listening to the conversation it was clear. How annoying, he was about to address the woman before even speaking again to the man, a sudden sharp pain would freeze the body of the Godaime. His hands hidden within the black cloak he would clench his eyelids shut. A cough and taste of blood, as a spear had pierced through his chest directly through his heart. Another through his neck, and two locking his ankles such an attack was clear they wanted to make this a quick death.

The pouch located upon his right hip, he would fall forward towards his death, sealing his and the crowds fate an explosion would tear his body into a bloody mess. Twenty-four exploding tags would be set off with no remorse, Koga intended to kill the soul who took his own life. This explosion would surely engulf the woman next to him and the traveler he spoke to. Not only that but a total of six kunai would be shot off with such rapid speed no reaction time could be given. Four would head off towards two bystanders(Hiro and Raiha) another two would launch off towards the stage. Two trench knives would launch off towards the location of the traveler(Riou) but if the explosion didn't kill him these knives were sure to.
