A lot had happened as I simply stood there. My questions weren't really answered, and one of the males walked away while the other's attention would be moved to a female with the same color hair. The voice and the hair would cause me to come to the conclusion that she was the Raikage, but I could be wrong. Regardless, I simply watched on from here since I felt that that was her, and it was my job to make sure she was safe, especially in this place since I felt that something was going to happen. Without much surprise, something did. The ground began shaking and a lot happened. I simply stood there as bugs flew by me from the male that used to be here. The first thing that came to my mind was Shinji, the male I had met at the park, but I could be wrong, I'm sure he wasn't the only one with that ability. The female with silver hair seemed to be the target of everything which also made me think that she was the Raikage.

Two targets would appear and disappear in little time. The mass of people that helped protect the kage was rather surprising. It seemed that the people in this village actually did things. Regardless, after they were taken care of, or ran away, the female with silver hair could be heard yelling at someone. My optics would watch her and the elder that she yelled at. At my whole time in this village, I had never seen an elder. It was nice to know what one of them looked like, and that they were the schemers in all of this. Soon enough, though, the attitude of the Raikage would change as she announced her wedding with the male with silver hair. When she said that she was stepping down from Raikage, my eyes widened. That wasn't anything that I was expecting. The fact that she chose this male over her position in the village threw me off. That must mean that this man was quite the person in her life.

Another male, one that had been knocked down by an attacker, would step up next to the ex-Raikage and state that he was the successor. With his mask removed, I simply stared at the male. This was my genin. When had he been thought to be kage material? Thoughts raced through my mind as I stared at my ninja. I don't even know if I'd be able to take him seriously. It wouldn't exactly be easy to listen, but I'd protect him regardless. I protected him before because he was my genin, and now I had even more reason to protect him; not that I needed more than the first one. I was far too lost in words to utter a congratulations to either of the two that had given an announcement. I was simply concentrating on keeping a straight face for now. Sky and I would need to have a talk later on.

Have to disappear now, my PC is getting fixed so my sister is letting me share hers with her. Ghost disappearing, nobody noticed that she disappeared.

With the shouts of Kana about some elder, it'd almost be distracting yet it wouldn't matter. His sound Bullets had connected with the assailant forcing him to flee with major injuries to the stomach. He had no need to call for his Kikaichu, though if this wasn't enough Kana would drop the bomb. She was steeping down, though not only that. She's getting married??? Shinji would take a step back and look the young Raikage over once more. Thinking to himself, the only person that came to mind was the one she referred to as Kaeor, the white haired male in the Gold and Red mask. This was one hell of a night, an attempted assassination, a resignation of Kana followed by the announcement of Sky a young Genin to Raikage as her replacement. His heart was still pounding with distaste for this night, though Shinji would lose the blank expression upon his face.

Smiling now, his emerald eyes would gaze upon Kana's face as he was truly happy for her. To find someone to wed is like a way of completing life. Shinji hoped one day he'd be so lucky. "Congratulations Kana-sama," he'd say simply with a bit of a chuckle, looking around at everyone. The fight was over, it was time to celebrate. Though he didn't know what to do, or who to even take out to the bars. "On behalf of all of Kumogakure no Sato. Thank you," he'd add that, even if he didn't hold the right to speak for Cloud it was necessary to be spoken. Even if some of the Eldars were bitter old farts, Kana had done remarkable things while in Office, things to be remembered. With his thank you stated he'd bow slightly in respect, though now she'd be once more an Equal on the level of Rank in the Village.

[Tieren]

Tieren watched as the attempted assassinations took place, clutching the note from the man he had talked to. Unfortunately, Tieren wouldn't be of much use, his attacks not used when around a bunch of civilians. So he stood back, keeping an eye on an opening, but the might of the rest of the village would prevail over the rest. As he listened to Kana speak to the Elder about the problems. Tieren was about to form handseals and take down the woman, finally fed up with her cruel means of dealing with things. But the time for that was complete, and the truth was now revealed.

Kana announced the end of her reign as Raikage and that she was to marry another. He was happy for her as he moved more into the crowd. Another male stepped forward and announced his name, and stated he was to be the next Raikage. So this was who was to succeed Kana? He would definitely have to speak with him at a later date. For now he nodded to Kana and removed the mask and wig, replacing his glasses. "Congratulations, Kana. I cannot wait to see the wedding. As for you, Sky... I would like to speak with you in private after this is complete. Whenever you are free, please send for me or come find me throughout the village. My name is Tieren Drasani."[/color] He said. Without further words, he pulled out his Ocarina once more, the band no longer playing, and made his way out of the Hall, playing the soft instrument as he walked.

[Raika Tatsu]

Tatsu looked on at the white haired couple, taking in all of the night's events that had just transpired in front of him. He began to think to himself as people walked up to congratulate the now former Raikage. A new Raikage? Wow, this was definately an evening to remember. I'm still trying to fully process the assassination attempt, and now the former Raikage has decided to step down. Probably the reason for this whole event, but it's still a lot. I have just come back into the shinobi world. Oh well, that's the life of a ninja, constant change.

Raika looked on as a man named Sky announced himself as the new Raikage. He looked interestingly enough, though he didn't seem completely confident in his leadership for some reason. Surprise and shock filled the room at the sleugh of news, as people whispered and murmered. Raika headed to the changing room to remove what he had borrowed. This certainly had turned out to be an epic night.

The cycle of events that unfolded were surprising and utterly disturbing. It was almost as if a domino effect of devious actions weaved and unfolded themselves in an irrational sequence. From the measure of the tremors of the earth to the unruly assassin that incorporating themselves into the ballroom without difficulty. In truth, this was an entirely different situation that I wasn't use too. How the fuck did people get targeted within the safety of their village? If anything the ethics of Kumogakure were vastly different from that of Konohagakure.

Yet I watched everything that happened, my need to protect Kana overshadowed by her own prowess in combat. She was an individual with the power and wit of a leader. After all, she once did lead this glorious village to an age of peace. Yet her perception and understanding of the dire circumstances were instantly recognizable once she provokingly questioned the authority of the Elders in the public. She event went as far as to banish one from Kumogakure under rightful pretenses. If anything it was clear that the system of checks and balances wasn't functional for Kumogakure.

Alas, I felt useless in the presence of Kana but I didn't forget that she also was a shinobi of immense power. To say that she needed me was disrespectful with the resume she piled up over the years. Then again, my fame was the more infamous type that only a few knew and I liked it that way. But this novel beginning in Kumogakure would be sufficient for me. There were a lot of things I wanted to change in life and this was the perfect time as the words of the Hokage thrung into my head when he attempted to reveal my shady past.

But there wasn't any time to dwindle on such useless comments. The sharingan that flooded my iris would recede, but of course to everyone else nothing would have changed. They still would see the violet hue of the contacts I wore. It was a deceive measure for sure, but one that worked considerably well no matter what. But with the term of 'marriage' dancing on the tip of Kana's tongue in conversation my head instantly turned almost as if there was some imposter in the room. She beckoned me with her hand and I didn't think to refuse her of her desires. My grip would intertwine with her own nonchalantly, almost as if it was second nature to me by now.

"Arumashi. Arumashi Kaeor from Konoha. It's nice to meet you all."

Another person would introduce them as the head of the village, the successor in the mantle after my own Kana. Even though a smile remained plastered on my face, I couldn't help but draw comparisons between the old and the new. He was shorter than me in stature but some sort of noble air washed over him from his blond locks. I knew nothing about him or his rank, so I kept my lips sealed. It was mannerisms my dear.

I just truly hoped for the safety of Kumogakure that this twist in history wouldn't be anything similar of when the renown Ishi stepped down from the throne and we were thrust into the jaws of the ill Kagetora.

That was a period of life that I just didn't want to dwell on.

"Thank you." Kana said with a bow to those who offered their congratulations and expressed their sorrow. "My work with the village has been a delight, I will continue to serve it in anyway I can, even taking a team of my own. But for now... well." She looked at Kaeor and their interlocked hands, a smile stretching upon her face. "I deserve a little vacation." She looked to new Kage and nodded her approval. "We will have to talk, my office is already cleaned out but you handled yourself well. Don't let them walk all over you, and if you need any advice you may visit me at my home."

With that down she looked to Kaeor once more. "Let's get our stuff and get out of here." She said with a grin.

He had a new tower to go to, it was her old one which was made vacant for him. He had a large sense of nervousness but he knew after some practice he'd be a great kage. Just like Kana. With everything now done he'd promptly leave the premises with Pepper in hand as well as his weaponry. -Exit- (Thanks for everything guys. I'll do the best I can for you all.)

Shunsoku sighed to himself as he made his way to leave the Hall and return to his home and his bed. "So confusing. I wonder if all the Shinobi villages act like this? Ah well, tomorrow I might be able to borrow some of the village scrolls!"

There was nothing to do other than agree with her as she expressed her future plans to those around her. I didn't know a single person around me though in the very near future I hoped to at least learn a bit about Kana's connections. With a final nod I would be on my way and out with the precious Kana at my side.

"Alright. I think I've seen enough of the craziness Kumogakure for tonight."

'Kaeor of Konoha,' the name would be burned within the mind for the Owl to search information on later. For now though, his green oculars would watch as the shinobi of Cloud slowly dispersing into the streets once more. Sliding his hands into his suit coat pockets, he'd stroll out casually. His hit on the bandit was successful, yet he remembered the attack of last year. Little was done in the plain sight of the Village. No doubt his superiors would be contacting him behind the scenes about what he saw. Sure he'd be out of character by striking down a Bandit as an Owl, though his duty as a Shinobi would over rule such stipulations. Whistling a slight tune, the Chuunin would seem cheerful while inside he was contemplating the inevitable.

Where it all Began

Today was sunny. The day's of kageship were at a halt for now and Sky along with his comrades were taking a well deserved break at the Hall of Roses. This is also were he and Tatsuta were to be wed. He decided on this and he knew she would have little objection to it. That was just the sort of person that she was. The roof of the building was rather large when you got up to it. His last time here would not yield a view from up here. A top the hill top near his home. It was just as grande as from his own roof. Though the sun was just peaking out from the northern mountains.

Everything was ready. The decorations, the pastries and even the guest list and rides to the wedding. It was absolutely perfect so far. Though he knows that with every wedding between high ranking members was a person in the shadows waiting to strike. Everyone had to have joy but be friends at the same time.

He took a deep breath in, the morning cold seeped into his lungs and he gave out an asthmatic cough. Nothing people knew about though. After a small stretch he'd walk down the stairs back into the hall and would await the guests.

'All right Marii. Keep it cool' thought the female as she entered the place where the wedding reception would take place. She and her cousins would represent the clan at this event.
Marii had rented a nice houmongi* for the occasion that was pale purple with a nice flower print. Her obi* was silvery green with some decorations on it.

"It is not every day we can witness the Raikage getting married" commented her cousin Tatsuo. "You're right about that" replied her oldest cousin Kenshi.
"Why don't we split up and mingle a little bit? The ceremony won't start in half an hour or so" suggested the young woman with a small smile.

"Sounds good to me" agreed her female cousin Kumiko. "Great...let's meet at the places reserved for us in twenty minutes" told the Jounin. The other three nodded before they split up.
'I'm thirsty' thought the female as she went towards the table with refreshments. She hoped that they had some nice non-alcoholic drinks there.

A wedding, Kyogi had never been to a wedding. He always imagined that he’d attend a wedding in his own village certainly not here. Kyogi adjusted the headband around his waist that he was using inplace of a belt. “Need to remember who I’m representing,” he mused to himself as he made his way to the wedding reception. Before he had arrived Kyogi had been able to find a tailor who allowed him to borrow some more appropriate attire. He felt the color blue of his button down shirt fit him nicely. As well as the white pants held up by his headband there was no need to flash it around on his forehead. Today was a day to celebrate Sky and Tatsu.

Looking around the area the reception was to take place he must have gotten here too quickly. Being early wasn’t a bad thing but he expected more people to be here. Hopefully they weren't dragging their feet and he’d maybe see some familiar faces. A smile formed on his face this was a happy occasion, a day to celebrate. ” I've been working hard. I could use a drink,” his smile turned into a grin. Of the few people here Kyogi decided drinks would be the best way to mingle. Making his way over to the table his eyes scanned the drinks. His hand wrapped around a beer before he turned towards the Jounin. ”Crazy day, huh? Must be exciting for them.” He’d remembered the red blush Tatsu’s face had become speaking about today’s marriage. It certainly was a day for celebration it was going to be good.

Someone let me know when I can come out lol “Relax, Tatsuta. Stop shaking and let me finish doing up your Kimono!” My Mother said sternly, straightening up my wedding Kimono as I stood in the back room before a large full view mirror. How many people were attending? Was everyone there? I lean forward to allow Mom to finish up with my make up, while my mind went in circles. “Your Father would have been so proud! You look stunning darling!” Mom then said, breaking my concentration. My Father would have indeed been very proud of me, his only daughter who was not only now a Chuunin, but is getting married as well. My bright eyes flickered over to my Mom's and I smiled. “He is always with us, Mom. It's a pity he won't be giving me away like Dad's are supposed to.” I say softly, knowing that my Mother would do just the perfect job as Dad would have done. My attention went back to the mirror as I fiddled with my dress while twirling a few loose strands of my long chocolate hair. My make up had been done to absolute perfection, my eye liner was lightly applied, black which enhanced the emerald color of my eyes, my lips were painted with a pale pink lip stick with a faint trace of red lip liner. My high cheekbones were slightly flushed while my skin glowed it's sun kissed tanned glow. I could not imagine myself looking more beautiful. My hair was styled upon my head, loose strands which fell down my cheeks was curled into loose ringlets while an assortment of red and white clips in the shapes of snow flakes littered my hair. The light in the room was pour, but once I began walking down that isle, they will sparkle and light up my face even more once I see Sky. Such a big day was happening within the next few minutes and to be honest, I couldn't wait for it to happen. The ending of a life as a Akiyama and the beginning of a new life as a Shimizu. Sky stepped off the balcony above and stopped onto the floor below via the stairs to the right of him. His descent would probably catch the attention of most. He was wearing a really nice and white tuxedo after all. He'd see many of the villagers there and most notably that sound guy. Sky would step forward to the man and speak to him.

"I'm sorry I haven't had time to talk with you. Is there anything that you'd like to discuss now?"

Though he'd probably be interrupting the current conversation he's in.

'Hm...what to choose' pondered the female as she looked at the selection of non-alcoholic drinks at the table. She decided to go for some non-alcoholic champagne since this was a special event. Marii preferred non-alcoholic drinks since her small body meant that the concentration was greater.
"Crazy day, huh? Must be exciting for them." commented a guy close to her age who stood a couple feet away from her.

"Mhm. A wedding is quite a big event in someone's life" agreed the young woman with a small smile at her face. Ice blue optics scanned the silver-haired male in front of her.
He had relatively simple and somewhat formal clothes. A pair of white slacks were on his feet while a blue shirt covered his torso.

But what caught her attention was the headband that he had chosen for a belt. It had a music note symbol on it.
'An Otogakure shinobi? Perhaps he's related to the bride or the groom' thought the Jounin. Or maybe he was a so-called allied representative since the groom was the Raikage.

Speaking of which; the said man was heading towards their table. "I'm sorry I haven't had time to talk with you. Is there anything that you'd like to discuss now?" inquired the older guy.
He looked quite stylish in his white and black outfit. A small sigh escaped her lips...he was lucky to get married with the woman that he loved.

'Maybe I'll get married someday too' pondered the female as she took a sip of the bubbly liquid that she had chosen. It did not taste that bad considering that it was alcohol free. She went towards a large bowl of fruit that was further down the table so she did not disturb them.
But once they were done talking, the brunette decided to approach the blond. There was not much time left before the ceremony would start.

"Raikage-sama" started the young woman and gave him a somewhat deep bow. She then stretched out her spine while looking at him.
"I'm happy that you invited me as well as my oldest cousins to your wedding. I hope you and your wife will enjoy your day to the fullest" told Marii with a happy look at her face. She decided to put the present on the table after this conversation was over.

"However, I would like to make an appointment before or after the honeymoon. It's just some formalities about the clan that the kage has to sign. My aunt said it was to do with the positions of the new council" informed the female with a low voice.
Hinata was currently away on a combined council meeting and vacation to the capital in Tsuchi no kuni. She had asked the Jounin to take care of this since she would be in the council at the end of this year.
