For the purposes of this application, I will only detail my experience here at NFRP. Although it states that I should include all experiences, I feel that NFRP will be sufficient. This is especially for those staff members who do not know me or do not remember me. I have been a member of this forum since I believe September 2008 [Correct me if I am wrong. I might have just got the month wrong but it was definitely late 2008] And thus, I believe the one month member rule can be satisfied.

I had also be a RP Teacher, although brief as it was. I remember my application for that title quite well. I had been an RP Teacher for approximately half a month before unexplained circumstances forced me to leave NFRP and thus I could no longer hold that rank. As RP Teacher, I tried to help out members to the best of my abilities [even though I still believe that I have much to improve on in terms of RP ability]

Activity:
I know the primary concern that anyone would have when looking at this application would be my activity. Indeed, that is something that I’ve thought long and hard about, even before rejoining the forum as an official member once more. I do agree that my past role as RP Teacher/Local Moderator did leave a couple of staff members disappointed because I had left without much of an explanation. And for that I must apologize beforehand. It was because of many personal events IRL that had hindered me from working more diligently on NFRP.

I can not make a vow here and now but I can make a promise that my activity will be pretty much back to its original state before I had left NFRP. That is primarily due to the fact that much of what had been hindering me before has been cleared and it would be much hope that no other problems will arise in the future.

Returning too Early:
Indeed, I myself have thought about this issue for some time now, especially whilst I roleplay. However, I believe that since I believe I am perfectly capable of returning as a helping member of the team, I shall give this a try. I do not intend that I will be accepted especially at such an early stage however I must do something to showcase the fact that I am ready. If any staff members feel otherwise or feel that my event is not up to par, please feel free to deny my application.

However, I must say this: I understand the worries that some may have but I only request a second chance to prove myself. What staff decisions are, I leave for staff to decide.

Transition from RP Teacher to Game Master:
I feel slightly awkward asking for Game Master when many have told me to apply for RP Teacher vacancy. However, I believe that as a member, I want to experience different things, to help out NFRP in different ways. I perfectly understand the fact that being a GM is quite different from RP Teacher in terms of responsibility but I think that as a member, I should try out for some different jobs [as I do have an interest in making events and missions.] All I ask is to be given a chance to explore this new path that I have chosen to take.

Final Note: The event below is the only thing I shall offer for this GM Application. I have some missions that I already created however they are pertaining to my custom village which is still awaiting approval. And thus, I do not feel that I have the right nor the priveledge to include them as formal grading of this application. My apologies in advance.

Rumours have been transcending across the lands for a long time now about ‘mysterious disappearances’ of shinobi and non-shinobi alike. Originally, this was not much of interest, however, after much investigation, there seemed to be a pattern of how, when and where these people seemed to disappear. The investigation had been conducted secretly for many years [6 years] where those who were trying to investigate would try to solve the unexplained mystery. After these years of searching and gathering of information, this is what they came up with:

These disappearances had some very recognizable patterns. The first thing which struck investigators as odd was the targeted people who disappeared. It seemed as though every time there was a notable disappearance, it would only be couples. This was especially strange since it was harder for those who plotted the abductions to abduct two people and not one. So why go through so much trouble? For many years, this question remained unanswered.

The second thing which proved to be a similarity was the place of abduction. Every time there was one, it would be in Umi no Kuni. Again, this was something unexplainable. The time that these crimes usually took place was through a course of five days from February 7th-12th of every year. After these five days, no more disappearances would be spotted in that area.

However, on the morning of February 15th of every year, there would be bodies found scattered on the sandy plains of Umi. The interesting thing about this is that the bodies of these victims are never couples. This means that only one out of every couple dies. The remaining continues to disappear without a trace. There seems to be no explanation or reason why this is the case. The deaths of the victims are usually by a poison unknown to have ever been developed. What can be seen from the bodies is that the poison would cause the victim to suffocate to death by an unknown force. No physical injuries are accounted for.

From years of investigation, there has been a major breakthrough in information. What is known is that the person responsible [at least this is the person that investigators have ever seen] is an elderly woman. Anyone who has confronted this elderly woman has suffered miserable fates alike and so nobody knows much about this old lady. She seems to be frail on the exterior but if anyone mistakes her as a pushover, then they will be in for a great surprise.

Objective:

The first objective of this event is to answer any unanswered questions that the investigators have been unable to answer. This includes the following:

• How many people have been abducted in total?
  
• Who is ultimately responsible?
  
• Why did this person responsible choose the victims that he/she/they choose?
  

Once these questions have been answered [through questioning the old lady], the second part of this event is to free any imprisoned victims so far. In order to do so, you must first find the old lady, have her bestow her trust in you [perhaps be a victim] and find where the victims are located and then find a way to help free them. This may require you to kill the old lady.

The last objective that you will have will be to steal the poisonous substance that was used to kill some of the victims and bring it back to your respective villages. In the process, you must assure that those who partake this event with you as well as yourself can safely return to the village.

NOTE: There are two remaining prisoners from each village and two whom are non-shinobi]

Rules:

1) This event is open to all ranked shinobi
2) This event is also Death-Enabled
3) Everyone that signs up for this event MUST team up with someone of the opposite gender in order to participate [this is so that the ‘couple’ idea can be enacted]
4) All participant ‘teams’ must start out at their respective Kage Towers, to RP out them taking on the event IC and then move to Umi no Kuni
5) Every village is only allowed to send two teams of shinobi [4 people] to the event
6) All battles that occur will be monitored by Battle Moderators, Staff Members as well as myself
7) All participants are allowed to miss IC Posting once without penalty. If missed again, you will be taken off the event

Prize(s): 10000 Ryo + 2000 Ryo for the freeing of each surviving prisoner/Poison capsule

Specialist: Taijutsu/Ninjutsu
An old woman skilled in Taijutsu and Ninjutsu, she had been a shinobi in Otogakure no Sato for many years. She is of Jounin rank and is skilled in primarily Fire, Wind and Sound releases. She also carries a weapon which resembles a katana and so her Taijutsu skills remain a mystery. After becoming a missing nin of Sound, she has been living in the shadows of Umi no Kuni.

[There will only be one primary NPC for this event. She is capable of going for disguises and the like during the event]

If you can actively handle the job, (because GMing is indefinitely more challenging to handle than RP Teacher), then I have no qualms with accepting you and helping you all along the way. I like your event concept and think you can do fine. 1/3 Approved.
