First off guys (staff) I really want to say I am really sorry for being inactive for so long while I was GM last. I talked to Heero about my inactivity before I really fully went inactive. It was because my computer was always down at that point, I had some Trojans I needed to get rid of and overall my life was in the crapper. Im not asking you for a 1/3 – 2/3 – 3/3 in 5 seconds, but I do want you to look at how I was as a GM before I went inactive. I strived hard to be seen as a good GM within the eyes of staff as well as the members of the site. I wanted to impress you guys so much that I really began to tire myself, but hell, what do you really think GM’s are supposed to be….untired and un-striving? NO…. I was doing exactly what I was supposed to be doing as far as keeping activity within the site, and I think that the members would agree when I say that I made a small impact if any impact at all – when it came to keeping a little spice in the rp life. I’ve changed a lot since 3 years ago when I first joined NFRP. I may still have some hot headed moments, but that’s only when people are slacking, not involving themselves in rp, or are just all-around a bother for me to be around. I remember even once getting mad because people were saying “sorry for the short post, hahahahahaha…..” – what do…you mean sorry short post? If you aren’t serious about your post then why post at all, anyways sorry for the elongated additional comments, you can go down now.

New Ideas ??

Not a lot of people are remembered by some of the ideas that I had brought forth to the GM world before. I had and still have lots of ideas that could result in the blossom of our future role play. My first proposition was to talk to the Kage’s and to GM missions for their shinobi. I started out by doing this myself, GM’ing the obstacles and battles that people encountered within each mission they took on. What ended up happening was like chain reaction, people began to see the brilliance in it and Kage’s began to see the reason within my madness. Now, throughout villages you will see that influence spreading around, even in my village (of mist) where my kage now tries to role play every mission that is taken on by his genin, chuunin, etc.

Since then, I have had more ideas that could help further the roleplaying experience here at NFRP. My first proposal is more GM / Kage interaction. Yes, I know that Kage’s are GM’s of their own villages, but I believe that when discussing activity in villages, Kage’s can’t always take the blame when things seem dull. So my first idea would be to have weekly events within each village. Before each new week starts, the GM of choice and the kage of choice will sit down and talk about a cool plot related /un- plot related events which could have their ninja running just to interact. Now im not sure if everyone is okay with this, because we have our “no-joe’s” out there, but I really think this would bring new interaction to the ninja of each village. I mean, can you really sit back and think about how many people you (the ninja of said village) know in your village? Well this idea will hopefully increase that factor.

My second proposal is creating events based on a characters history. In other words “player-targeted events.” GM’s in my opinion, need to know everything about everything. This means scuffling through people’s biographies, picking out which ones seem interesting, and discussing with that person and asking if they would agree to add drama / action / whatever to their histories by expanding on certain aspects of the characters life. If you don’t really know what im talking about, think of you being god and tampering with someone’s life with their permission – that should be pretty close to what im talking about doing.

Plot: In the era of Laicouu, the very first ruler of a man-made age, there were deep and dark secrets hiding within the shadow of every step. God created the heavens, the earths, and the hells. In the beginning of the Laicouu era, the very first year of mankind, hell and earth remained as one – within the same boundaries cut off by a seal created by Laicouu himself. This seal was somewhat of a pact with him and the influences of the underworld. This seal was invisible, sort of like another realm invisible to the naked eyes which could see only what they were meant to see. But as time went on, the power of Laicouu would decrease, and the powers of evil influence would begin to crack the barrier. Laicouu, ruler of all lands, knew that his time was coming. So in effort to keep out the evil influences – he placed a seal among the clouds of earth – making a pact with the evil influences of the underworld. The seal read ”The influence of evil is neverending, so on the night of mans birth, an evil will surge throughout the world until the dawn of new day.”

The seal remained throughout the skies for centuries and everything seemed to be great until the day of Laicouu’s birth (birthday…lol). A strain of dark red clouds would clutter over the world, blocking the sunlight. Beneath the clouds, a red substance would leak onto the earth making it bubble and reek of rotten corpses. From beneath the depths of the red pool the corpses, soldiers of the underworld, would rise and attack those in sight. Their only purpose? To increase their bloody gore to the world, killing the innocent and adding to their army of evil. This manslaughter shall last for a duration of 24 hours and there is nothing to do but fight until the time has run out.

Name: Wrath of Laicouu
Rank: A
Plot: The day of the birth of man has ended. The red clouds have cleared but the blood of the innocent, and the gore of the underworld remains rotting among the soil of the battlefields. Among these battlefields, a rare flower, unnamed, is seen sprouting up from the soil in a dark ember. Beautiful to the sight, but deadly to the touch, these dangerous veils of vegetation are spreading a disease throughout the entire shinobi nation. The symptoms seem rather…irregular however; victims show signs of dilated pupils, an increase in temper, and a desiring urge for bloodshed. During the day of the birth of man, a scientist by the name of Jakohlt De’ Von in the village of mist was sitting in the hospital, treating patients who had been severely injured by the soldiers of the underworld. The patients were very aggressive, trying to slay the doctors and nurses who were testing them for vaccinations. It got to the point where the hospital had to be shut down because the disease that Jakohlt called “Laicouu’s Wrath” began to sulk within the blood of every man and woman within the vicinity. Jakohlt is still within the hospital, trapped within the depths of the men and women tortured by the wrath of Laicouu. He is the only one with intel of vaccination, and without knowledge of the vaccination and death of the only man knowing, this disease will spread rapidly among the shinobi nation – turning our world into hell as we know it. Jakohlt needs help from the shinobi of mist to enter the vicinity and to gain the information from him so that the disease does not spread beyond the walls of the hospital. (The only way to be infected is by scratch, bite, or contact with bodily fluids [throwup, urine, etc.] from the infected)
Location: Village of Mist (has not spread to other countries. If mist ninjas fail, it will)
Rules: 2 Battle mods say your infected. Once you are infected you WILL become aggressive, and possibly even attack those nearest to you. If you are infected, you may be targeted by teammates who wish to preserve their lives.

Diseased patients who have no intellect to use their powers. Their only weapons are their teeth, bodily fluids, and nails.
