I have been roleplaying for around four years now, and have greatly developed my creativity, pride, and skill in writing. Considering the age I am, I take great responsibility and I complete the tasks I am given. Even when there are no assignments or requests given, I always find a way to help out and keep busy. I've been a member for nearly a year and I believe I have a firm grasp of the rules of NFRP; I believe that I am capable of taking on the role of staff here on this site. As I was once helped when I originally joined, I plan to help the members of this site to my full capabilities whilst still maintaining time for roleplaying.

1. What, if anything, is wrong with this custom?

Water Sphere Shield
Rank: “B”
Skill: Ninjutsu
Effect: Wraps the user in a sphere of water which acts as a shield
Special: Bird, Boar, Dragon, Half Ox, Rabbit, Snake
Drawback: The user cannot move for the duration of the jutsu. If all water is displaced in a single hit, the jutsu is destroyed.
Description: The user performs the handseals, sending water wrapping itself around his or herself. The outside edge of the water hardens and condenses, making it nearly impossible to inflict physical damage on it. Beyond that, if used on a water source, any time water is displaced by an incoming attack, it is automatically replaced. This effect can also be created if the user has the ability to create water. This effect can be dispelled at will by the user at any time.
Limit: Water Release

2. Lets say you get accepted here. You're in the C Box and you see a dispute going on. At the moment nothing too bad is happening, but it is clear that things are heating up and it wont be long before the flaming and baiting starts. You are the only staff member on at the moment, what course of action are you going to take?

3. You graded someone's training, but only saw one of their ten posts and graded as if there had only been one. Later on the person you graded logs on, hereby referred to as Billy Bob, and files a nasty complaint thread against you. In the complaint there are many implications about your inability to be an assistant, baits, flames, and overall douche baggery. The solution Billy Bob proposes is "Fire the incompetent dipshit and give me my points." What course of action do you take?

Suiton no Tate (Shield of Water)
Rank: "C"
Skill: Ninjutsu
Effect: The Suiton no Tate acts in a manner similar to the Suna no Tate. By using water and combining it with the users chakra, they can allow it to move around the body to deflect small incoming projectiles or even use it for techniques.
Special: "Handseals"
Drawback: The shield can not really block taijutsu attacks, constantly absorbs a very very small amount of chakra.
Description: Small currents of water flow around the body of the user, capable of deflecting small jutsu or even extinguishing C-rank or lower katon techniques . This jutsu activates automatically unless the user himself chooses to "disable" the ability in a situation. Does not acquire the awareness of the user to defend (can block strikes that the user can't see, like the sand shield has been known to do).
Limit: Water Release

They both complete the same effect so there is no need for this custom. As for handseals, we no longer list the actual hand seals on nfrp. Instead, it is expected to simply put "handseals" in that spot, and it implies that they are a sequence of handseals. Not only that, but the technique itself is too overpowered even though it is a B-rank technique. In most cases, B rank techniques are only capable of defending techniques that are B-rank or below.

If I got accepted and while in the c-box I saw a dispute occurring, I would ask participating parties to stop before things get out of hand, kindly reminding them the rules. If they continued, I would turn to higher staff for help. After recording the incident, I would pm it to a moderator — either the next to come online or someone I know is on often — and show them what occurred, explaining the dispute so they could deal with it accordingly.

When I saw the grading thread I would respond quickly and calmly. In the reply I would apologize for my mistake and explain that it was a complete mistake because I was in a hurry and only saw one post; I would tell them I did read their post though. Then I would then go on to say that I would reevaluate their posts and correct the amount of training points given for their posts.

Bonus:

If he was a new member, I would respond to 'John Doe' informing him that this is not the correct method of advertisement. Then I would continue on to tell him that he could advertise, however, it must stay within the boards specifically for advertising and give him a link to the designated area. I would also inform him that if he continued to advertise by such methods that I would report the incident(s) to higher staff to deal with.

However, if he was a veteran I would immediately report him to higher staff, because, he has been around long enough to know that this is not allowed.

1. You're partly wrong and partly right here. You got, in essence, what I was shooting for, just the technique that its a copy of was wrong. I actually grabbed this jutsu and made a few minor edits.

Drawback: The user cannot move for the duration of the jutsu. If the user dispels this effect before the three turns is done, then their speed and reaction time is reduced by 1/4 for one turn.

2. Good answer, keep in mind that assistants can give warnings for C Box Activity as well though.

3. Nice and polites, I hate it. The answer passes, but I'd personally have prefered something with a little more emotion to it, something with a little UMPH! to it.
