I've had a good deal of experience not only dealing with the often tedious aspects of getting a site to run smoothly, but facilitating positive relationships between members, making sure new members follow AND understand site rules, and brainstorming creative ideas to boost member participation while enhancing their general RP experience. I've made enough characters to gain an intimate knowledge of the rules, and more than that, i've balanced my quite hectic real life responsibilities with keeping those created characters active, training, and battling. It's pretty evident from anyone whose seen my training threads that i often create mini-events just to keep myself entertained, and i think with my high level of site activity, ability to multi-task, and active imagination/schizophrenia, i'll make a FRIGGIN' AWESOME Game Master.

Additional Comments: I think this is a pretty straight forward application. I've helped out across all my accounts, not only in bios, but with NPC'ing characters, giving advice on training and RP in general, and almost filled the C-box to capacity with tips for newcomers. Just as important as all that, i've asked ALOT of questions, and tried to maintain a type of student mentality so that i'm never too comfortable with my knowledge base. There's always something more to know, and as a Game Master, not only would I be able to increase other people's enjoyment of the site, i'd be more than willing to find the right answers to their questions, not just any answer, and possibly get some activity into those less active villages, which is my ultimate goal.

Yamataikoku Rises

Plot:
The former Shaman Queen Himiko, ruler of the mercenary island Yamataikoku has been dethroned, beaten publicly before the people she once commanded, and forced to watch as her home sunk beneath the waves marking the appearance of the mysterious Sasurai No Kuni, the Wandering Country, which disappears and reappears beneath the shifting continents and waters, forever elusive, but boasting masters of ninjutsu who almost seem immune to death.

A denizen of Shadougakure (The Village Hidden In The Roads) is the one to blame, a murderer who left his original village in pursuit of the call of forbidden jutsu that would unnaturally prolong his life. He is called Kansei of the Aburame, a 'clan purist' who sought to collect the Queen's enormous Beetle Summons as his own, to make his transition into the true head of the Aburame complete. He succeeded...and left Himiko to drown in the treacherous waters that outline the borders of Fang, Sound, and Claw.

He was not prepared for Himiko's own perfection of a particular forbidden jutsu that would lead to the resurrection of Yamataikoku Island AND it's newly risen dead population, and a small war that could very well erupt into a conflict that involves all the Shinobi Nations of the earth. In her fury, she has declared him her most personal of enemies, and vows to destroy him and reclaim the power he came to usurp.


As Kansei has retreated to his mysterious compound in Sasurai No Kuni, and the Kage of the Hidden Road has become aware of his own role in the conflict that goes against all he and his people practice, three separate calls for aid were sent out across Hidden Villages and nearby cities still observing ancient treaties whose details have scarcely been observed (or even seen) for the better part of three centuries.

Kansei Aburame, appealing to those whose base amoral nature match his own, placed a request across various minor countries, asking for Non-ninja to aid him in destroying his enemies, with the promise of great wealth in exchange for their blades. He wishes his former Kage's death as well, and would love nothing less than to become the Kage of The Village Hidden In The Roads.

Queen Himiko has asked for the aid of The Village Hidden In The Sound, the village she was born in and once served as ANBU for during a ninja conflict that gave her the title of Sannin and allowed her to leave on good terms. She asks that all Sound Village Ninja rush to combat the evil that is Kansei...by eradicating him and all who follow under his banner. In her own words, "You will be given a small fortune for your services. I am a queen and my peoples wealth is my own to do with as i wish...especially considering that they are dead." She holds ill-will towards the 'coddling old' leader of Sasurai No Kuni as well, and is not opposed to his death.

The Meirokage (Maze's Shadow), leader of Sasurai No Kuni and promoter of their continued existence just beneath the surface of common knowledge, has asked that the treaties he established with the villages of both the Hidden Snow and Hidden Waterfall during the years of The Great Contumacy (A period of fierce wars that resulted in villages splitting into factions united by a common desire to survive against the onslaught of the larger nations) be honored, Snow and Waterfall Ninja are requested to prevent Kansei's death...but only so that he can be captured and brought back to be dealt with by his own people. His allies can be destroyed at one's freedom, as well as the treacherous Queen Himiko, 'Who in her bloodlust, would expose the most secretive of Hidden Villages on a whim'. He also guarantees a monetary prize for those who follow his wishes.

There is also a growing rumor surrounding the recent conflict...one that states that ONE of these sides of opposing individuals is in possession of a great Shinobi Weapon...if one is indeed powerful and clever, they may be able to secure such a weapon for themselves.

Will Yamataikoku Fall Again? Will Kansei be destroyed? Will the Hidden Road reclaim its errant prodigal son?

The Two Towers

Plot:
A shimmering wave of genjutsu fades into the surrounding fields of old world architecture that define the unique aesthetic of Otogakure No Sato. The flat-land expanse is now broken and divided; a new tower has been built that rivals the Kage's own and brings with its ominous and silent construction the threat of invasion and a change of power. It's ambitious designers are an enigmatic pair referred to only as 'The Lovers', and with them are a host of Missing Ninja so engrossed in the evil atmosphere of there dual-leadership that they will stop at nothing short of the Kage's death, and the removal of any shred of decency and hope the people of the Land of Rice Fields may have clung to in their patriotic support of the Sound's Shadow.

Too sudden to have halted at the point of it's building and too massive and threatening to be ignored, the Daimyo of the Land and the Kage himself have joined in a brief unity brought about by the fast approaching battle, and with their union, have placed the responsibility of defending the villages namesake and integrity to it's ninja population.

ANBU divisions are not enough. The accumulated knowledge and power of it's higher ranking ninja has been compromised as the new regime's empty promises of fast power and vast resources have caused many to defect in support of their cause, and without the quick action of a select few Sound Shinobi, the future of Otogakure remain precariously balanced at best. Only the intervention of those with the power to stand up in the face of their new enemies forces will be able to take pride in the symbol engraved onto their headbands. Only those with the courage and conviction of upholding their common Nindo will survive the coming battle, and truly understand what it is to defend their country.

The Two Towers cannot exist simultaneously. Whichever tower falls, The Village Hidden In The Sound will never be the same, and the lives that may be lost are seen as a small price to pay for the security of a nation united. The Otokage needs you.
