Flow of the Dead [Taki]

Hugo’s plan had worked to an extent. He had dealt with some of the zombies and in all the ruckus he had attracted the attention of the other zombies luckily taking their attention away from the taki shinobi. This would be helpful because he wouldn’t have to go running around saving their lives. Now he just had to worry about his own life. As ten zombies began surrounding him four from behind three from the front and three from the right it would be an interesting fight. Two on Ten his golden clone had now formed and was ready to fight by his side.

“Get behind those four I’ll take on the rest” His command to his clone was swift as the clone took his spear from him he jumped high into the air landing behind the four zombies. “Hello boys”, it spoke as it made a quick stab forward into the back of one of the zombies skulls before retracting to a more defensive stance in case the zombies jumped forward towards him. Although the clone was strong it could still be overwhelmed and with no ninjutsu it was on its own. However this defensive stance was only held for a second. Although no ninjutus the clone could still move swiftly and with much skill. Swinging his spear several times starting with the zombie on the left the spear tip would slice horizontally through the first zombie before coming around to the one on the right ending it with the same fate and then finally the one in the middle would be destroyed if no zombies moved. He was fast but he could still be stopped.

Hugo had quite a predicament it seemed, or was it? Kyogi walked towards the approaching zombies drawing in all six so that they were from the front and behind. A smirk formed on his face as he stood there almost lifeless asking for the zombies to come closer and their small brains wouldn’t think to question it. His hands reached into his pockets pulling out two kunai both with tags attached. As the zombies would try to grab and kill him his body would spin filled with chakra a ball emitting five meters would shoot around him blowing the zombies back and most likely to the ground. As his spin ended he quickly threw his kunai one towards the center of each zombie pile on the ground. If they did not move the kunai would stick into each of their chests and then with the Kai handseal formed they would explode obliterating the six zombies.

A blue dome of whirling chakra forms around them, spinning with such force that a wind is whipped up around the dome. The dome has a radius of five meters. Ninjutsu and Taijutsu strikes are blown back if they come into contact with the dome. However, strikes of B rank or higher can pierce the dome, causing a chakra reaction that will most likely blow both the user and the attacker backwards.
Limit: Must learn from a Jyuuken teacher or at the Hyuuga Mansion. Must be a Hyuuga. Must know Jyuuken Advanced Stance. Must know Hakkeshou: Sekishokyuu.

From the mouth of the hospital they came, hundreds it seemed. The day was just starting up, and the market square was quickly becoming crowded. Did these people not know of the danger that loomed over us all? Of course I hardly knew what was going on either. From my crouched position I observed the incoming threat, my enhanced vision taking in what others could only guess at.

These... things were once men and women, ninja and villagers such as myself. But now it was obvious that life was far behind them now. Various wounds covered their bodies, many of which appeared to be the results of rampant cannibalism. They stumbled about with a weird gait, as if unable to fully control their bodies anymore. There eyes were the most telltale sign, glazed over and lifeless, yet moving still.

Accurately judging their distance from me, and before they could truely enter the square, I would stand, using my left hand to flick the katana from its sheath in the shield into my right hand. Drawing it to its full length, I made a full swing across my body, aiming forwards towards the zombies. This was not an attack per-say, but rather a delaying tactic. Just as the mass of zombies would reach the entrance to the square, a wall of force would hit them, throwing the front ones into the ones behind, and creating a domino effect as the wall continued to expand. (Air strike travels 30 meters and has a 15 meter knockback)

So precise was my timing that not a single enemy would be able to come in through that entrance for a few extra seconds, at least. Many of them would get knocked back, and the ones behind would get bodies thrown into them. In any case they would have to recover, getting up from the ground before they could resume the attack.

Meanwhile, just after I executed the technique, I would raise my voice to all around, adding as much danger and fearsomeness into it as I could muster. "FLEE, FLEE FOR YOUR LIVES. IF YOU STAY HERE YOU WILL DIE, AND IF YOU DO NOT I WILL PERSONALLY KILL YOU." My sword would point the way of escape, in the direct opposite of where the zombies struggled against my wall of force.

As civilians (hopefully) ran past me towards freedom and life, heading in the direction I had sent them, I would stride forward towards the incoming zombies, with Aki and Mai flanking me on the right and left, respectively. A sword in my right hand, and a shield on my left, a grin split my face and a fire smoldered in my eyes.

It was a glorious day to die.

Kowai Shiryoku (Frightening Eyesight)

Effect: Allows the user to have naturally enhanced eyesight in both the day and the night.

Drawback: As with all forms of enhanced senses, they are also more susceptible to their perspective weaknesses.
Description: Sharks have amazing eyesight. Since they often swim the depths of the ocean, where it is dark and what little light that comes through the water is distorted, their ability to perceive minor changes is particularly excellent. Members of the clan learn to mimic these enhanced perceptions, able to peer through the darkest of night as if it were noon and the ability to notice subtle changes like the fluttering of a specific leaf in the wind.

Effect: A technique used to impede opponents at a distance.

Description: Another form concept of forcing energy by a single swing. Instead of cutting, the user can swing their blade into more of a force like blow. This technique is shot out in a wave, but expanded into a wall. This wall momentarily slows an opponent down by giving them the push. When the user first learns this technique as a “D” Class ninja the user is able to send a shock wave of sheer force in the distance of twenty meters capable of giving a knock back of five meters away from the twenty meter region. For every class level the user may be higher than that of “D” Class the technique increases at a distance of five meters giving it a total of forty meters, with a knock back of twenty five meters past the initial shockwave point. This technique is able to counter against thrown and other projectile weapons, as well as running opponents.

[Ryuuchou Meimu]

With the immediate area safe for now, Ryouchou wiped a bead of sweat from his forehead as his mud wolves returned from whence they came, breaking down into their component parts. Basically, they liquefied completely, sinking down into the mud.

He looked around the field, feeling the slight shiver from the cold run up and down his spine. He knew it was more than the cold making him shiver though. The whole area looked like a scene from a horror movie, with dead things on the ground and people tired after having fought against them. "Zombie apocalypse, anyone?" The medic said to himself, chewing at his lips as even he couldn't muster a smile at the 'joke'. He knew he'd have some part in defending against the creatures, and that thought didn't excite him very much.

With a slight gasp for breath, Ryuuchou coughed after hearing what the Takikage had said, asking them to go out into the rest of the Village and fight against the monsters while protecting anyone in need, and ordering anyone they found to get indoors. He soon began to crack his knuckles and his neck, stretching his back by bending backwards and forwards as well. He didn't like the idea of zombies being on the loose, and he also didn't feel comfortable with facing them with so few offensive techniques, but hopefully he'd be able to be of more help as a medic. He'd surely be able to defeat any zombies he came up against somehow though. After all, they were just rotting flesh and bone with small intelligences, for the most part.

As he finished his little stretch, he took off at a fast pace, his destination; the Village Square. There'd surely be a high concentration of the dead, with people having been headed to and from the area at such an early time in the morning.

As he arrived though, and ran towards the center where the large, beautifully flowing fountain was located, he saw no zombies, no hostile force, nothing. He saw few people at first, as well, but he heard a voice off in the distance, catching everything that it said. "FLEE, FLEE FOR YOUR LIVES. IF YOU STAY HERE YOU WILL DIE, AND IF YOU DO NOT I WILL PERSONALLY KILL YOU."

Ryuuchou sighed a sigh of relief. "I guess there's been someone here fighting the zombies as well. Maybe I won't have to do too much fighting. Thankfully I have the fountain in case I do." He said to himself, bracing himself as he wished he could include himself in the people who would be fleeing. If any passed him, he would try to direct them towards the Takikage's Tower, since the area would likely be well protected, and had been cleared of zombies for the moment.

OOC: No I ment both of them used Tsuuga, in Gatsuuga they spin side by side but here they had distance between them to attack the different enemies.

After using his first jutsu, he turned around to see two zombies still standing after turning his head slightly he noticed seven more. After sighing the boy swiftly grabbed the hilt of his sword and ran at the two zombies. The shinobi sliced the first with a quick slash across the neck he then turned to the other one and stabbed him in the chest. To finish him he lifted the sword up through his chest, neck and finally his head. This should finish of both of the remaining zombies. If any of them were still alive he would finish them off with a strong stab to the head.

The boy then turned around and looked at the 7 zombies that were remaining. He already had an idea of how to finish of these guys, since they weren’t very fast, he had time to take out a kunai and exploding tag, he secured the tag around the kunai. Very accurately he threw the kunai right between the enemies. The shinobi waited for about 2 seconds before the timer of the tag went off. Forcing all the zombies to be dragged across the air.

Effect: Exploding tags are scraps of paper inscribed with a special writing, centering on the kanji for "explode" (爆, baku). Infused with chakra, they will explode after a set amount of time, remotely, or after being ignited by flame. Drawback: May harm the user if not put right.
Description: Paper that is 2 inches by 6 inches in size and 0.039" (1 mil) thick. These papers are exploding tags that are able to harm and kill opponents or just simply explode within a certain radius. They can be placed on targets, wrap around a weapon, or even thrown at opponents. Tags have a killing diameter of 1 meter, and a wounding diameter of 2 meters. Tags can be activated to explode within 6 seconds, or by a simple technique.
Limit: These types of items may be capable of being bought inside any Weapon Shop.

Effect: A digging tool, a bit like a trowel. The blade was soft iron and unsharpened because the edges were used to smash plaster and wood, to dig holes and to pry. Also used as a knife.

Description: The kunai is conventionally wrought in ranges from 6 to 8 inches, with the average at 7 inches. The kunai was used by common folk as multi-purpose gardening tools and by workers of stone and masonry. The kunai is not a knife, but something more akin to a crowbar. The blade was soft iron and unsharpened because the edges were used to smash plaster and wood, to dig holes and to pry. Normally only the tip would have been sharpened. The uses to which a kunai was put would have destroyed any heat-treated and sharpened tool like a knife. There could be multiple kinds of kunais such as handless ones, or even double sided kunais as long as they are within the same length.
Limit: These types of items may be capable of being bought inside any Weapon Shop.
Cost: 1,000 Ryo per Slot, or 500 Ryo Each.

Area 5 - Naka, Ryuuchou

The zombie rush was blown back by the shockwave send out by the AnBu.Their bodies smashed against the store fronts and zombies behind them. The uncoordinated zombies were are intending to get upon their feet. But it was a scramble which none of them were to win lacking order and intelligence. Ahead of you is a pile of zombies. On our right were three zombies who were unimpeded by other zombies. They rushed in your direction at a running pace from 30 meters away.

The few civilians fled in the direction of the Takikage's Tower.

Area 7 - Kin

The young Inuzuka cut down the two nearby zombies quickly. They lacked instinct and defense mechanisms falling to the boy's blade quickly. The remaining zombies were destroyed their parts spread along the area by the explosion. Nonetheless, the area is practically clear. You may move on to area 8[Crossroad] or area 4[Village Gate].

Area 8 - Hayate

The clone leaped over the four zombies distracting them. It's initial stab hit true in the zombie's skull. It's body fell limp after the spear was removed from its head. The zombies turned to face the clone as slashed all three with cosectives slashes. All slashed through the middle, the zombies torso's fell to the ground but continued to advance towards the clone crawling upon the ground.

Meanwhile the remaining zombies advanced at the motionless Hugo. They drew but were blown back by the spinning chakra sphere made by the Hyuuga's technique. The zombies were knocked back and bagan to stand. The ninja hurled two kunai with explosive notes near each group on either side. The explosion afterwards destroyed them spreading charred bits around the area.

Area 9 - Chizuru, Wolfy

The zombie lunged forward and swung his arms downwards upon the shoulders of the kunoichi. But a genin appeared in the area upon the back of a dog. His companion's drilling attack intercepted the zombie leaving the kunoichi unharmed. A large hole was drilled into the zombies body. It crashed upon the ground violently but began to drag itself towards the kunoichi once more. The remaining zombies lost their footing and scrambled over each other trying to advance. The male genin pummeled each upon their heads until they were motionless. The area was clear!

I sighed wiping the faint bit of sweat and blood from my brow and patted Hime's head. "You did good girl"

I went over to the girl and held out my hand grinning with my clan's trademark grin. "Hi I'm Axel Inuzuka, are you okay?" even while introducing myself I kept a wary eye on my surroundings just to be safe.

As soon as I saw the strike was successful, I would let the blade fall from my right hand into the ground, sticking there for a moment. With that hand I would reach into my pouch and pull forth two percussion grenades, deftly removing their pins in the process. With a fair amount of accuracy I would fling first one, with the other immediately following, each aimed at a separate area of the pile of odd beings.

The first was aimed to hit in the left area of the pile, about the center of the left half. It should be just far enough in to prevent the nearby buildings from being damaged, at least not too badly. And it should also utterly demolish that half of the pile, assuming there was nothing stopping it. The second grenade was similarly placed, but with respect to the other half of the pile, on the right side. As these grenades would explode on contact rather than on a timer, it would be very unlikely for any of them to escape, or even get up in time.

As I watched (presumably) the pile of corpses disintegrate in the two giant compression blasts, my eyesight would flicker to the right, observing three more heading towards us. However there was another player in this area now, a fellow shinobi who had entered from behind me, from the direction of the kage tower. I would carefully observe the approaching zombies, but it was only fair to give this newcomer a chance at some combat, if he wanted it. My katana still stuck in the ground in front of me, I watched both the zombies and the new shinobi to see what would happen. As I watched a single senbon would slide down into my right hand from its pouch, just in case.

The surrounding area of the Central Village had been disturbingly quiet in the moments after he had arrived and heard the voice, and several civilians had run past him to what would hopefully be able to become a safe haven for them and others. All that he could hear was the sound of the fountain that he stood against, mentally kicking himself that he had carelessly gone about without any weapons in his pouch.

The medic kept his bloodshot eyes peeled still, as well as his ears, as he knew that though the zombies who threatened the peace and safety of the Hidden Waterfall clearly lacked a higher intelligence, their hunger and thirst for what he assumed would be brains and human flesh---thanks to the horror stories he had heard as a child---would make them dangerous and unpredictable, and they were certainly physically stronger than he himself was. If he got surprised and overtaken, there would be little hope for him, unless the other shinobi whom he had heard before was still in the area.

As if in answer to Ryuuchou's question, the sound of some type of explosive being detonated sounded from the same direction that he had heard the other shinobi yell out to the civilians. If the man was making use of bombs there must be a large amount of the rotted and decaying enemies in his area. Ryuuchou wasn't the most adept fighter, but he felt that he needed to help, so he began to circle around the fountain in order to run toward where the sound of the explosion had seemed to come from.

However, fate had other plans for him, as three of the enemy's number were quickly advancing upon him, stripping his attention away from helping the other. All of his thoughts were being focused on what to do next.

He instantly decided on a technique he had learned through his medical studies. As he began to weave his hand seals the creatures came toward him at a surprisingly quick pace. He hadn't expected that they would move so fast after death, granted they were only freshly dead, most likely. He made a note to do things faster while the threat lingered.

With a build up of his Chakra to a C Level Rank, he took in a deep breath and mixed the Chakra he had gathered into his lungs, letting it take over the carbon dioxide that he would normally produce with an exhale. Before the acidic substance began to burn him, but not before the creatures came close enough that Ryuuchou thought they would have a slim chance, if any, of stopping before bursting into his technique, he exhaled and a purple mist flowed out of his mouth, forming a cloud of acidic smoke about two meters before him, with a size of about four meters.

If the zombies came into the cloud, the acid would eat at what remained of their flesh, and they would surely decompose more quickly while they remained. Maybe their cells had even decayed to the point that only a short time in the cloud would defeat them. That was Ryuuchou's hope, though he knew it was probably hoping too much. To be safe, he ran back an additional fifteen or so feet from the cloud, creating a gap of around 20 feet, his hands clapped together in case he had to continue with the creatures.

Zesshi Nensan (Fanged Tongue Acid) [TP: 30]

Effect: The user expels a burst of corrosive acid from their mouth.
Special: --
Drawback: The user may also be corroded by the acid if they enter the cloud. The cloud can be blown away with a Fuuton technique.
Description: The user focuses chakra into their lungs. They then release the chakra, expelling a cloud of acidic gas from their mouth. This acid forms a cloud with a diameter of four meters, centered about two meters away from the user. The user stands just outside the cloud. The cloud corrodes flesh, and will burn away the upper layer of skin in a single round. If the foe remains within the cloud for four rounds, on the fourth the acid will have corroded almost all the way through their flesh. The cloud dissipates after five rounds.
Limit: Must be a medic.

The attacks in succession worked well however for the clone the zombies were still living. This was interesting. Even with severe damage these things lived on. The clone threw back the spear to Hugo who easily caught it. The zombies still made progression slowly towards the clone who could be bit but was strong as steel would feel no pain or problem with them. Walking towards the zombies he would curb stomp the zombies upon their heads killing the rest of the zombies in their path. From here it was time to move around. No further zombies but he was sure there were more elsewhere. With spear in hand and the ten zombies now dead Hugo and his clone moved north to the village square to see what else could be done.

Since it seemed like this part of the town was cleared of zombies, at this point the boy had a decision to make. He could either go to the Village Gates or the Crossroad of the village. It was a simple choice for him since he thought that the undead infestation was coming from them, so he would try and cut off the source of the attack. Swiftly he ran towards the Village Gates [4]

Area 5: Naka, Ryuuchou, Hugo

The explosions from the grenades wiped out the zombie pile with minimal damage to the buildings around them. The final three zombies in the area charged the Medic as he exhaled a cloud of acidic mist. Besides the remains of their bodies, the area was clear.

From the area of the Takikage's Tower, Ryuuto appeared flanked by ANBU. The young Takikage seen the damage for himself as he approached the two ninja nearby. The ANBU moved into position at the North portion of the square. Seamless handseals were made as they slammed their hands on the cobblestoned street. A 10 foot high stone wall blocked entrance into the northern sections of the village.

One of the ANBU placed his hand to his ear listening to a comm. device in his mask. "Affirmative. The explosives had been set and the civilians are clear! Lord Takikage!" Ryuuto nodded in the direction of the ANBU giving him the order to execute. "Eyes and ears! Cover them!" Ryuuto yelled aloud. He followed his own advice shielding himself from the imminent blast.

A procession of explosions rung out from the northern sections of the village. After the explosions stopped, a plume of dark smoke rose from over the wall set up by the ANBU. The ANBU once again turned his attention to the comm. device. "Good job. Those abominations were destroyed with minimal damage to property..." The ANBU stopped abruptly listing to the voice on the other end.

"There's someone coming out of the medical center. Its the director of the hospital! He saved some of the staff. There escorting him here!"

Ryuuto moved closer to the gate his arms folded. He had some words for the Director even though he was safe. The ANBU lowered the stone wall revealing the charred district around the pristine medical center. A blonde broad shoulders man dressed in a white lab coat with a black suit underneath walked into the square.

"Oh my." He looked around the landscape. Ryuuto tapped his foot upon the ground aggravated with the director. He took a deep breath looking up at the director. "I want to know what was going on in there.. After you and your staff take care of the villagers."

Ryuuto turned back to the ninja who were in the area. "This day couldn't have been worse for the village.. You all deserve a rest."

[Event is over... collect your reward at the tower.]

As soon as he arrived at the square a shit load of ANBU showed up shouting orders. The only one he really listened to was "eyes and ears cover them" Closing his eyes he put his hands over his ears as an enormous explosion went off. His ears ringing slightly he let out a sigh that was quite the pain. However they said that the village was safe and that they were allowed to leave. It was time to go get paid. His clone dissipated as he released the jutsu and left swiftly. He wasn't needed here.

I heard the explosions then the takikage's voice booming through the village informing us all that the village was now safe. I saw no reason to stay and the girl seemed quite unresponsive. "I guess I'll see you later"

I waved to her and headed to the kage's tower.

With the village apparently cleansed, I would go to the Tower for my report. But first I would retrieve my katana from its place stuck in the ground before me, cleaning it before I sheathed it back in the shield.

As the mist cleared, Ryuuchou covered his ears to avoid any damage to them from the explosion that seemed imminent. After a rush of air flew past him, he glanced at the remains of the zombies one last time before walking off towards the Takikage's Tower. "I definitely need to learn some more offensive techniques. I was lucky this time." He said to himself, peeling his eyes away from the remains and focusing towards where he had initially come from.

It seemed that before the boy would even be able to get to his destination, he had to turn around to go to the takikage tower. So the boy turned around and slowly made his way there.
