“Ugh…I guess you can go ahead and handle this lord Hokage,” Tetsu said taking the cigarette from his mouth and puffing a cloud of smoke out of his mouth as he put it back into his mouth as Claire declared that she knew the fellow. “Heh, so it’s a friend of yours eh Sakurai, seems a bit…disappointing.” Tetsu thought to himself as he felt a twinge in his stomach. The feeling was unsavory to say the least, and the young dark haired Nara wasn’t really familiar with the sensation. He couldn’t help but think back to the first time he had met Claire, the snow had been slightly coating the village as he had been out attempting to do something or another. Her Pink hair stood out against the white coat of snow; which was imprinted inside his head as he sighed and let the feeling quell itself as he crossed his arms and sighed as he looked back up to see Claire’s subtle smile, which he couldn’t help but feel a sense of relief as he listed as to what Claire had to say.

“Convenient? I guess you could say that Sakurai…but man it was a pain.” Tetsu said as he kept his chakra swirling towards his cigarette as he prepared himself to perform a smoke based jutsu at the drop of a hat if he had to. “Though as much of a pain as it is, I’ll hear you out for sure, if Gosei doesn’t have anything objections.” Tetsu said calmly as he lazily eyed Sakurai with a glance of interest, switching his look between the new coming kid and Claire.

As if she had been summoned herself, Claire would appear from behind the Hokage. Noticing that she was one of the people he had previously spotted, Kinzoku chuckled to himself. If only he had seen her earlier, all of this could have been avoided. Well, at least he fought the Hokage and lived. That'd be a story to tell his parents when he returned home.

”Stop!”

Once he heard the Hokage yell, Kinzoku would ease himself up a bit. For the moment being, the tension had dropped and the time to fight was over. Exhaling, his muscles would relax, shoulders drop and his threatening demeanor would cease. This was actually Kinzoku's first time personally meeting the Hokage and after the brief bout, he did not want to come off as any more troublesome than his appearance at the mansion had already become.

The Hokage's summon on the other hand seemed to still lust for battle but Gosei had his summons under control, as expected of someone of his level and status. As the female panda dropped her axe and walked away, Kinzoku smiled at her and spoke.

"Maybe next time...."

After doing so, Kinzoku would make his way closer to the rest of the trio before him. While doing so, he heard the Hokage address him.

”Kinzoku is it? What, what on earth... What
made you think it might be a good idea to
sneak into the house of the Godaime
Hokage unannounced. I could have killed
you, had Claire not been here.”

Thinking back on what possessed him to swing by the manor, Kinzoku could not think of a logical answer as to why he did not just try to find someone to fetch Claire for him or escort him to them. Personally, he just felt that when you were invited somewhere so big and couldn't not find a guide or something, look for what you came for. But from the Hokage's point of view, he was probably used to the large area and finding things for him wouldn't be as much of a hassle as it would for someone who's house was probably the size of the Hokage's wash room. But how to say that politely.....

"My apologies Hokage. I have never been here before and was not sure what would be the best way to search for Claire. But with all due respect, I believe I would have been just fine."

Kinzoku looked back at the panda laying on the floor. Part of him felt bad that he injured the Hokage's summon, and the other part was surprised that he injured the Hokage's summon. Though he was not fighting Gosei himself, for a twelve year old genin to have taken down one of the village leader's summons would seem pretty impressive... or at least Kinzoku thought so. Not to mention that Kinzoku was not dumb, if he suspected the Hokage's mansion was under attack and he was getting overpowered, Kinzoku would signal for help and the whole misunderstanding would have been resolved way before anyone got too hurt.

At this moment, Kinzoku would take a chance to glance over the third person in the trio he had approached. From what Kinzoku picked up from Claire and Gosei, this guys name was Tetsu. His demeanor and posture clearly showed that he had no interest in Kinzoku, therefore Kinzoku just smiled and nodded at him. There was no need in going out of his way to introduce himself or try to be friendly if this Tetsu did not desire it as well.

[Madame Loki]

Loki entered the manors grounds, but she didn't look much like the Loki that everyone had recently come to know, this shouldn't be much of a shock, she liked to keep people on there toes. Her hair was long and platinum blonde, and in the most elegant of styles as it flowed down the side of her body. She wore a rather extravagant dress meant for a queen of some sort. This was of coarse a mixture of illiusion, and her supernatarally long hair. When she entered the grounds it was filled with familiar faces. Loki smiled as she laid eyes one particular friend that she had not seen in sometime. She also took note of the situation that was unfolding, and simply shook her head. Kinz was rather reckless.

Loki guessed that iron skin of his made him think he was invincible, or close to it. What kind of nutter would try and sneak into a Kage's home, especially this one? Well Loki was that kind of nutter, but one should be hesitatent to follow her lead. Loki sighed as she approached the group, "Well look at this, all my favorite people in one place. How convenient for me." Loki waved  at Claire and Kinz, and then gave Tetsu a flirty wink, knowing full well that the group as a whole would have ittle idea who she was after changing up her appearances, Tetsu most of all, as hE still believed her to be a man. She then turned her attention over to Gosei, and gave a respectful cutsy, "As you might have already guessed Lord Hokage. It is I Loki Dye, and I have news I wish to share, as well as a formal request."

Loki knew Gosei would be able to tell it was her, but it would be rude not to formally present herself, she would need him in the best mood possible, to get her request, as she suspected that he wouldn't be to excited about it. But it needed to be done nonetheless.

[Titan of Stone]

Krystal's golden eyes scanned the people in the courtyard as she followed in Loki's footsteps, she gave little notice to them due to her lack of knowledge of their position in regard to her mistress. The golden yellow tabard she wore fluttered against her black leggings and greaves as she stood at Loki's side and a step behind, although as they reached one man in particular she curtsied to him and Krystal decided to show the same respect bowing before him. "Sir..."

After returning to her up right posture, her hair seemed to twitch her style hiding her ears marginally as she opened herself to the surroundings while her golden eyes looked at the hollow of the man's collar under his throat as an old habit born in her amnesia. Idly her fluff tip tail would sway back and forth as if on the breeze while her tall stature brought her gaze over her mistress's head.

Editing under the assumption that

Gosei's ursine defender grumbled in displeasure, but ultimately obeyed. Claire was able to tell that it had halted battle-readiness completely when its elevated chakra levels dimmed down to a more standard baseline. That was good. Everyone here was on the same side, so there was no need to start killing each other.

Kinzoku's confidence in addressing her captain impressed her, but as she watched him with care to get a feel for his chakra as he approached closer, she didn't personally feel as though his bravado was founded. Perhaps he felt as though his body's increased defense would have carried him, but she had spent years living with Gosei and knew that the man was capable of devastating power when he was of a mind.

Two newcomers arrived as well, one flouncing in in an all too familiar way though she looked like none the Saku-, no the Uchiha, had ever before encountered. The other trailed quietly behind, but there was something...off about her. Did she...was she a cat? Weird. Her chakra seemed normal, perhaps a bit more powerful than her own while not as much so as Gosei or her companion's.

Once she identified herself as Loki, though, her demeanor made much more sense. Claire grimaced. She could claim to be happy to see the woman, but that would be a lie.

"Fantastic, she's back..." she grumbled mostly to herself. Louder she would add, "And who's the newbie? You picking up a team to lead?"

[Solus]

I

nhaling sharply Gosei would find that Kinzoku was not the only one testing his nerves today. Although due to his sideways glance only Claire and Kinzoku could see the deeply infuriated expression on his face, it was nonetheless not any less murderous. A preach lay on the tip of his tongue, which was however interrupted by the reappearance of his summon, showing up with a tray that was loaded with a steaming kettle and a set of cups that more than outnumbered the amount of people present. She placed the tray in front of him with a lot of pomp, leaving the Godaime to grumble nothing but ”It is Hokage to you…” Saved by the bell (totting panda).

Humming a slow soothing song the panda summon started to pour tea into four cups without asking if anyone wanted any tea, just assuming this to be so. Meanwhile this would roughly be the time that Kinzoku would state his apology. The Godaime chuckled, blowing on the surface of the hot amber liquid. ”Well, at least you have guts. Now sit down and have some tea before I am forced to attack you again.” He chuckled, inviting Claire and –reluctantly- Tetsu to join in too.

A new rumble of the earth would alert the Godaime to a new presence. Ripples shortly appeared in the cups as it passed. Immediately the Godaime would look in the direction that this strange early warning system indicated, where two people now appeared. One of these however he instantly recognised by the self-assured walk and the over the top royal aura she projected. The one following in her wake, despite having an odd appearance –Gosei had seen stranger- however immediately reminded him of a wallflower. A status this person most certainly would not lose in the wake of the flamboyant Loki.

Politely, but no more than his station befitted Gosei would return the curtsy with a nod. A smile of annoyance would curl around his lips as he peered into his cup. A sigh of tiredness would pervade from his mouth. Gosei knew enough euphemisms, he used them all the time, to recognise one when he heard it. ”A formal request of all things? I am not going to like this am I? Fair enough.” Putting his hands together the Godaime would form a single handseal by crossing his fingers. Instantly a perfect clone would appear at his side. ”Come with me to the tower. The place for formal requests. We can speak there in quiet.” The Godaime’s clone said, swaggering off to lead the way towards the tower in the north that could be seen even from here. He did not even really to bother to see if anyone was following. He was a clone so his exercise was irrelevant, whereas on the other hand he did not expect either of the two to object.

Once the two would be off with his clone the Godaime would take a sip of his tea, place his cup on the ground and stretch his arms. In the distance Wang, still dazed was staggering to his feet, trying to regain his balance. At least he was doing fine.

Okay, Madame Loki, Titan of Stone, In short, neither of you technically should be here. Both of you forgot to go through the gates and Titan of Stone, you did not even travel here. Now, I am going to overlook this once, but next time you’re going to get a warning because both of you are longtime members and should know this. So, here’s what I am going to: I am going to just continue RP with you guys as if you went through the gates. This would mean that Gosei knows Madame Loki brought in a Kusa and that Titan of Stone left his weapons at the gate as per the village rules stated there.

Now, I am going to ask you both to go to the tower with a clone of mine as to keep this thread sort of manageable.

[Madame Loki]

"I don't lead Claire... people just choose to follow. Much easier to value loyalty that way." Loki responded to Claire with a slight smirk. She knew Claire didn't like her much, nor did she fully trust her. This fact actually made Loki quite fond of Claire. Naive individuals, who were so quick to trust, just because they bore the same symbol were... tiresome, and boring. Claire would at least be enteraining. She then turned her attention back over to the Hokage. 

"Well we'll just have to see I suppose." Loki said as she strolled behind the clone that was leading them to the tower. As she left with the Hokage's clone she looked back and waved at the group. Before leaving she called out to Tetsu,  "We really should catch up later. Haven't seen you in awhile, and I'm sure you have... questions." Loki then turn around as she strutted behide the Hokage's clone.

[Titan of Stone]

As the pinkette grumbled, Krystal's ears would urn slightly followed by her gaze shifting towards the short girl and a certain saying about cats and tongues came to mind as she idly began to run her claws against each other at her side, although the movement would cease as Loki spoke drawing Krystal's attention back to where it should be. The sudden appearance of the clan made her tail flick slightly out of surprise as she had another person to keep track of. After a few words were exchanged and the clone started to move toward the tower with Loki behind Krystal would follow in her footsteps quietly observing everyone and the surroundings of a new village.

Tetsu was very confused as the Hokage seemed a bit irritated with him…which was business as usual, nothing new there. Most everyone hated him, but caring was such a bother, Tetsu really didn’t give a shit. “Eh, whatever you say, Lord Hokage…” he said with a sigh as he found himself caring less and less for the whole turn of events. That was of course until he noticed some opulently dressed woman; who winked at him after waving at the other pair of younger shinobi…which kind of struck him as odd…seeing as he recognized the playful nature of the person, even if he couldn’t put his thumb on it. That was until he heard the name of course. Loki and Dye, though not particularly important on their own, one being the first name of his best friend, and the second being the name of his mother for whom he had heard so much about in their time together as members of team blitz. Was this person related to Loki in some way, more so closely related to the witch of a mother that had borne him, or was this something much more sinister. Tetsu was indeed in a state of confusion as he didn’t quite know what to think at that very moment.

Tetsu was fairly sure that this was some sort of joke, all up until the Hokage asked her to return to the tower, and she called out to him in recognition. That could only mean that this was indeed the Loki he knew and loved; however why the sudden change in…well…everything, Tetsu thought to himself, puzzled as he thought about it for a moment. Sighing, he figured that he probably should respond. “Yeah, I suppose we will have to catch up…because I do have some questions,” Was all he was able to get out as Loki made her way off towards the tower with the clone that the Hokage had just created. What surprised him, even though his best friend had somehow become a woman, was the fact that Claire and the other kid seemed to know her; which meant that they had seen Loki in this state before he had…which to most people might come off as a little offensive; however Tetsu’s apathetic nature drove him to shrug a bit, figuring things were probably more important than him anyway. Tetsu in the end honestly didn’t care.

“So Claire, you’ve met Loki before?” He whispered quietly to her as the Hokage, who wasn’t very pleased with him at the time being, Seemed distracted by Loki and what Tetsu could only assume was her servant. The experienced Genin was curious as to how Claire had encountered Loki, and possibly what she thought about him, or should Tetsu say her now. Leaning to the side a little bit so that she could speak quietly still, Tetsu wondered what waited for him in the near future…

~Short intermezzo, sorry, I need to be somewhere else too, so I am leaving a clone.

Out of nowhere an AnBu appeared from a white puff of smoke, bending over and whispering something into Gosei's ear. Ever so slowly Gosei put his cup down and sighed. "Sorry, I need to go, I will leave a clone here." Gose spoke, getting to his feet and crossing his fingers again to create a second clone. Beckoning over his summons the real Gosei would place his hands on both, siphoning off as much chakra as both could give to compensate for the chakra he lost creating the clone before dispelling Wang. Having no real use for sustenance the clone would sit down anyway and take a few sips of tea just because it could still enjoy it, continuing on in the place of the real one as if nothing happened. In the distance Gosei stepped outside.

Accepting the Hokage's invitation, Kinzoku would be seated and have some tea. As the warm drink made it's way through his body, a sort of relaxing euphoria would over come him. As Kinzoku exhaled all the stress he had prior to the tea, he would jest.

"Guts of steel."

Little did the hokage or anyone else but Claire and himself know how literal his statement would be. Suddenly, two figures would make their appearance. From where he was, Kinzoku saw one person in an extravagant dress and another who seemed to be following the queen-like person. Something about the woman in the front seemed familiar to Kinzoku as his eyes had adjusted quite well to making out figures and detail due to his continued training.

Unfortunately, this was not enough for him to figure it out completely... until she spoke that it. Not only did she obviously state it but Kinzoku remembered her voice. The woman who took out the ship single-handedly on their mission. Powerful? For sure. Merciful? Not so much. She also killed their assailants with no remorse even after they had surrendered due to Kinzoku's and Claire's combined efforts.

"Hey Loki! Long time no see."

As Kinzoku spoke, he smiled and a drop of sweat would fall down the side of his face. He could feel the very same awkward tension between Claire and Loki as he did on the mission. Best to ignore it and let it slide by as he did in the past. Fortunately, as quickly as they appeared, they disappeared into the distance with a clone. And right after that an ANBU would appear and disappear with Gosei, leaving them with a clone.

To make so many clones seemed unreal, but that's what you would expect from the Hokage. When you're as busy as him, the technique comes in handy. Kinzoku thought about how long Gosei had to train to make that many clones in one day... but who was he kidding, that was the Hokage. He probably did it over night. As they all gathered around the clone, Kinzoku would wait for Claire to inform them all of why they were here.

"We've met."

Claire's voice was flat and humorless as she turned only her head slightly to watch the woman prance off out of the corner of her eye. She never bothered to respond to the woman, and Loki for her part never waited for one.

She did however smirk somewhat involuntarily at Kinzoku's pun. She liked him. He was kind of an idiot, but he had...guts, as he put it. And more importantly heart. He just needed to not be so reckless moving forward. She could help with that. Years living with Gosei Kaeraikou taught one how to keep a level head and act in a measured fashion.

Addressing her Captain's clone, the rose-maned soldier was all business.

"The matter I asked Kinzoku here for was to deliver the report on our completed mission sir. He's here to verify something critical - the client lied to us. That was no Rank C mission. The so-called bandits were well armed, and trained in unusual ninjutsus. One created an invisible barrier that deflected my shots, another seemed capable of strangulation from a distance. And they were numerous. If not for Kinzoku's unconventional plan, they might have succeeded in their raid. The client cheated the village out of proper payment - that was at the least a rank B mission, more likely rank A.

"As it stands, we were able to subdue and disarm the assailants. They would be rotting in jail right now, but Loki decided to execute them instead and toss them through a hole while we were still airborne. Oh yes, the attack was in the sky. On some giant flying fish-thing."

She would be silent a moment now, gathering her thoughts while giving space for the others to voice theirs or ask any questions. Then she resumed -

"Bringing me to the next matter. Kinzoku performed admirably on his first mission, and if he's willing I would like permission to form an official squad with him. Likewise Tetsu, whom I encountered not long ago. However...don't think me petty, but I would prefer not to work under Loki again, at least not on a permanent basis. I believe we can function well enough without the oversight of a chuunin or jounin."

Tetsu couldn’t help but chuckle at Claire’s suggestion, as he knew that he was a lazy ass and furthermore wasn’t an ideal team member. Be that as it may, her gumption impressed him, as he readjusted his glasses as figured he should take a moment to process what she was saying. “Indeed Lord Hokage, my previous engagement with Team Blitz has seemingly expired since the disappearance of Amerante from any of her squad leader duties…and the um apparent sex change of Loki” Tetsu said as he brushed his hand through his hair. “It’s funny, but in all honesty I would appreciate being relocated to a more efficient team if it so suits you sir.” Tetsu said formally as he began to take on a more decent mannerism. “Effective teams are much more desirable after all,” Tetsu reaffirmed as he nodded his head in agreement with Claire’s suggested team up. He didn’t know the other kid, but he seemed goofy enough to entertain him longer than a few moments…as long as he didn’t get them killed that was.

“As for a team leader, lord Hokage, I was planning on attending the upcoming Chuunin Exams, and if I were to achieve the rank of Chuunin, that would qualify me to fit the requirement for a Chuunin leader; which means consequently that I personally see no reason not to allow the formation of the team sir.” Tetsu said bowing his head again politely as he made sure keep his tone polite and well-mannered while he spoke. He shot a sideways glance towards Claire as his head was bowed, flashing a small smirk as the ash from the tip of his cigarette drifted in the wind as it fell from its still burning source.

[Kinzoku]

As Claire spoke, Kinzoku nodded in agreement with her debriefing of the previous mission. Claire was very thorough and pretty much covered the whole mission. During her breakdown of the mission, Kinzoku almost blushed at Claire's flattery. As his eyes closed, he commenced to grin and rub the back of his head. Then when Claire paused, he'd sneak in a small commentary.

"You and Loki helped too. All I did was make a hole."

As he continued to listen to Claire and even Tetsu's comments, Kinzoku's excitement grew. The last group he was on was not able to even complete their first exercise of breaking a genjutsu so that was really disappointing. But he and Claire already completed a mission together with pretty good team work, and this Tetsu kid was already planning to become Chūnin. There was no way they could be worse than his last team. With his excitement reaching its limits, Kinzoku would burst out.

"I'm game! And I agree that we wouldn't need a middle man. Not to mention, working directly under you, Hokage-sama, we could probably get better missions."

Kinzoku would wink and smile while making a nudging motion and continuing.

"If the C rank Claire and myself completed was of a higher pay grade, I don't want to go on other lackluster C rank missions. I like a challenge."

All in all Kinzoku was completely for joining with Claire and Tetsu to make a team and even though his comment about higher ranked missions was a jest, he hoped that eventually, seeing how good the them grew together, Gosei would grant them or even request them for missions that the average genin would be sent on.

[Solus]

ooking back and forth between his protegee and Kinzoku the Godaime would allow the story to sink in. A squad it was huh? That sounded more or less like a plan. A half smile pulled on one side of his lips. It seemed that these guys had started to go beyond what was expected of them. One of them even jestingly started to request what they could not expect to do. ”A squad sounds like a terrific idea. I will not however give you Chuunin or higher ranked missions. We restrict missions for a reason.” The Godaime took a sip, patting his chin for a second, looking up as the clouds lazily drifted over the confines of the courtyard. He smelled not only an opportunity, but also a way to make more money.

”I see... Nobody should try to cheat the Hidden Leaf like that, not only cheating us out of our money, but also putting you in undue danger.” He pulled a piece of paper of his haori, starting to scribble on it swiftly in the long and curly handwriting that was unmistakably his, finishing with his signature. ”This is a mission to find the mission giver. His name is Miyagi Sukho. He lives in a port town, you probably know which one from the mission. Collect the rest of reward he owes us had this been a B-ranked mission. The exact amount is on there, you can divide it amongst yourselves and keep it. And make an example of him. I do not want any other more people in danger because mission givers think they can mess around with us. It might seem harsh, but it will save lives in the end.”

The paper would be handed to Claire. They had not decided on a captain of the bunch it seemed, but she was easily the most mature and responsible of the squad. ”Think you can manage this without being arrested by the local law?” He requested. Of course he could always bust them out or buy them out in case anything like that happened, but that would somewhat downplay the ‘making an example’ part of the mission.

Claire nodded her acceptance, stowing the note in her pocket. It was the right thing to do in the long term, even if it felt heavy handed. She would lead the mission as entrusted to her, and see it through to the best result she could create. Her mirth and irritation both from earlier were gone, leaving her businesslike and professional.

"Understood, Captain. I'll get it done as soon as I'm able. Tetsu, Kinzoku, if you want to come with me let me know and I'll meet you at the gates. In the meantime, I need to do some shopping, make preparations."

She paused, a little awkwardly. She wasn't sure how to put this. Preparations for dinner, not the mission. That we can handle in the morning. I need some food and sleep before I'm going to be able to head out again. You can stay if you want, and Captain Gosei doesn't object. For dinner I mean, not forever."

Tetsu sighed as he words were ignored yet again, killing his motivation and vibe, though there wasn’t one to begin with honestly. Nodding his head in agreement to the proposition, Tetsu couldn’t help but sigh at Gosei’s lack of trust in him. God what a pain, Tetsu thought to himself as he understood very well how he and the Hokage stood. A good Shogi player understood his opponent, and right now he was up against someone who was used to playing their own game of Othello. “Yeah, A mission to get acquainted with our teammates is probably the wise thing to do,” Tetsu said in his quite tone of annoyance as Gosei continued on his way, speaking about payments and the betterment of the village. Tetsu figured all that was simply a runaround way of saying no one crossed the leaf, especially when it came to their pocketbooks, and got away with it. Though it was more like no one crossed Gosei, Tetsu thought to himself casually as he listened to the Hokage speak on and on about the mission. Gosei had a point that it would help save lives from sending Genin on overtly difficult missions; however he was sure that that was not the only objective of this mission.

All that aside, this wouldn’t be the first time Tetsu had done something like this, he thought to himself as he remembered the time Loki and himself had broken into some drug dealers house to gather evidence to warrant his arrest, with a warrant present mind you. “We will get the job done, right Sakurai?” Tetsu said, using Sakurai’s last name, as it what more respectful to address her, especially since she was probably the closest thing to a leader their team would have at this point…at least if the Hokage wished to continue to have their team pressed under his thumb like they were. The thing Tetsu had noticed about Gosei, was that he liked having control, and didn’t like when things were beyond him. With that in mind, Tetsu put himself at ease, not really giving a shit wither the Hokage saw him as his knight or but a simple Bushi to move forward or to be placed when needed. Tetsu knew full and well that he was expendable.

After Claire agreed with the Hokage, taking the document he had handed her, Tetsu would exhale a bit of smoke from his mouth. Claire began to speak about preperations and rest; which Tetsu wouldn’t argue with. If he could get a meal and a nap in before going out, he would be one happy Nara. To top off the cake, Claire was offering to have them stay for supper there at the manor; which as pretty awesome in Tetsu’s opinion. When pretty girls offered to have dinner with you, you don’t say no, Tetsu thought comically in his head as he glanced to the side towards their metallic friend cracking a smile at the younger fellow as he looked back to Claire. “That sounds awesome Sakurai, I would like that…and I’m sure Kinzoku wouldn’t mind coming ether,” He said with a wink to the kid as he adjusted his glasses, figuring he would enjoy a nice meal with his friend. “Of course only if that’s okay with you, Lord Hokage…” Tetsu said looking to the side at the Kage, who wasn’t his biggest fan…which Tetsu couldn’t argue with since he wasn’t his biggest fan either. Waiting for a response, Tetsu let the smoke from his cigarette trail upward some more as he mulled over his thoughts, waiting for the go ahead on the meal.
