Fisshu Fin no Jutsu (Fish Fin Technique)

Effect: Gives the user chakra fins, allowing them to swim faster. When used with Suichuu technique, gives one whole ‘free’ hour to spend underwater without Suichuu’s drawback, the need to rest after the technique.
Special: "Handseals"
Drawback: If the user wears shoes or gloves while using this technique, the jutsu will rip them apart.
Description: The user molds their chakra with the water surrounding their body to form the fins: Starting from between the user’s fingers and toes, a see-through film starts to grow, extending soon to a fan like shape around their fingers and toes. The film can be hardened for use, or used in a state where it gives in to touch, allowing the user to form hand seals normally.

The next scroll I picked up enabled me to swim in the water faster as well as gaining the ability to breathe under water for an hour. Intrigued, and excited, I quickly changed into my bikini and headed out toward the pool in my backyard and dived in. The depth of the pool was at least 8 meters, so it was impossible for me to reach the bottom without swimming to the floor. But once I resurfaced, I began to perform another set of twelve handseals before I began focusing my chakra to both my feet and hands. While my feet continued to kick to keep be afloat, my attention remained firmly upon my hands.
As I spread my fingers apart, my chakra began to glow around each finger tip before a very thin piece of skin began to cover the creases between my fingers. The chakra glowed brightly beneath the water which illuminated the skin on my chest and stomach. But as the web – like fan appeared between my finger tips, I suddenly got quite an uncomfortable feeling around that area but when I swayed both my hands from side to side, I did notice that it did a better job at keeping me afloat. When I moved down to my toes, the chakra blue color expanded around my feet, giving me a somewhat fin appearance rather than create fan – like skin between my toes.
This gave my feet a more deformed appearance, but the thin pad had fluttered out beyond my toes, extending from the crevasses between my toes, out to at least six inches away from my feet before curling inward like the tail fin of a regular fish. The web – like properties swayed back and forth loosely, propelling my body upward while I remained vertical within the center of the pool. What made me feel more like a fish then a human was my feet, but the firmness of that material that my chakra had created had indeed managed to keep me afloat and made me realize that kicking this hard no longer mattered. I relaxed slightly, kicking softly and slowly. My body remained afloat as if nothing had happened.
I gradually let myself sink into the water. Once my eyes opened, I was able to see clearly beneath the water's surface. I swam one length fairly quickly, noticing how swift and easy my movements were. I also noticed how fast I had moved considering I was naturally a somewhat slow swimmer. The warm water was sliced as I swam through it, and after counting inside my head, I found myself at the end of the pool after five counts. Frowning slightly, I turned around and began swimming back to the other side but with more urgency in my strokes, my goal to hopefully beat that five second count.
I do. By covering the length in three seconds. Amazed I glanced up toward the surface, breathing normally despite I was underwater. My fingers continued to glow that cobwebby appearance as did my feet, floating freely and smoothly inside the water. I began swimming more lengths, making powerful strokes on one end of the pool before returning using lighter, free style stokes until I passed the hour and was forced to submerge and rest.
