After destroying his house to find where he had placed the basic book of ninjutsu, which he had found in his room under his pillow, he made haste to the field. The ninja made good timing to his field that he had spent many days training on. When he had gotten there he had sat down a jumped into the book. Going past the two basic moves he had learned he finally reaches a section labled "Water Style". The list of techniques had been long and all seemed extremely useful to him. Although the book was filled with techniques it had nothing on the release itself.

The ninja quickly read through the techniques description to try to see if it would give him any ideas. Throught the descriptions they all stated that unless he had been extremely well adapt in water style, he would need a local source of water. This had not surprised him so he had decided to keep looking for other reoccuring requirement. The techniques all had mentioned being able to manipulate water. The atomic properties of water had made it a confusing subject, it was able to change through 3 forms, ice, water, and mist and it was also extremely conductive for electricity. Fire gets extinquished by water, the Earth relies on water for its plants and species of animals. Water had become a key compoinent to everything, even the wind had carried water in the form of clouds.

As everything had connect in his brain it had finally hit him, the flow of water can be described as the flow of chakra. When water dries thngs die, as well as with water. Also if water becomes overwhelming it can also be lethal, just like chakra. To completely understand how water works he realizes water is a basic principle of life. So many things had become apparent to Pax in one instants time. The way to control water through chakra would require the perfect amount of chakra distribution. Just like the way a river moves in harmony with the rest of nature.

Trying to over do a technique based off of water can be daangerous . The water moves in unison with the chakra and once it is disturbed it all will cease to move together. The rain had also proven to Pax the water can be used in variations. The water keeps changing from ground water to sky water, or clouds. The theories had began to constantly pop into his brain. So fast that it was almost painful. Finished for the day he removes his shoes and sticks his feet in the water.

At that moment he had realized another thing. Water had distorted the look of his foot so much it had appeared to look as if it was about to fall off his foot. The element sure had many twists and turns to it but it had also all been very simple. The basic element around survival and also a destructive force to be reckoned with. The ninja had began to smile foolishly, due to the fact that so much had just happened at once in his mind he just tried to shut up everything talking in his head. No psychotically but intelligently he had a way of conversing with himself inside his head to attempt to figure things out through trial and error and through theorization.

Pax has given much thought about the element he's been studying for the past few days. Everything seemed clear to him now that he began to concentrate on the feel of the water's chakra. To manipulate a form the chakra control needed to be steady and powerful, while his mind had to be focused on what he strived to learn. The ninja had been swimming and tossing himself into rapid waters for a few days now and had almost reached his goal. He could tell that he almost completely understood water element and how it worked.

Although he had not been able to use a technique yet he still knew that it had taken determination to get this far and it's going to take alot more to get further. Getting ready to leave his house he puts the basic ninjutsu book he had been studying down. Without bringing his weapons he heads out to look around and try to get something down. Spending 20 minutes walking through the village he finally reaches a waterfall. The waterfall had been massive and a natural landmark for the whole region. It had been atleast 100 yards high and where the water had been rushing to was a small island.

The island was no bigger than 3 yards wide and had been a completely smoothed stone from the errosion of the water flow. His first idea was to feel the warmth of the water. Unlike before, he had been tired of sniffling and didn't want to get sick. Water normally felt extremely cold during the winter and when it wasn't moving it was normally frozen. The water was shockingly warm and relaxing so he sat under the water flow and began to gather his thoughts.

Many different things begin to cluster his mind, none of which relate to his training. Realizing thids moments later he set his mind only on water. Closing his eyes to increase the feel of the flowing water down his body. His concentraion remained intact as he began to feel his stamina spike. Resisting the urge to just jump into the body of water near him he continues his meditation. He could no longer feel the difference of water and skin. After spending so much time in it recently it had become almost like a second layer of skin.

Dedication was his drive but in the long run the water had relaxed his muscles and mind. He felt completely refreshed, almost as if the water had rejuvinating qualities like that of a medical ninja. Either way he had been completely mellowed out by the water and had felt as if it were a part of him. Eventually he grew extremely tired and after about 3 hour of getting in and out of the waterfall to catch his breathe, he ventured home. He had been walking five minutes before he bagan to think of which technique he should learn first.

Located at the training spot where pax seemed to spend most of his time, he bagan to read some techniques out of his book. One which had caught his eye that was an easy water skill was the Suiton: Mizutsume no Jutsu (Water Style: Water Claw Technique). He had just finished studying water chakra and wanted to attempt it with an actual jutsu. He remembered that he needs a source of water so he walks over to the close stream.

Reading more about the skill he understands that he can't form hand signs after equipping the claws. So now standing in front of the stream he weaves the required handsigns and the dips his hand in the water. After a few seconds he pulls it out and the water stabelized into a 3 pronged claw. The water quickly dropped to the floor after a few seconds of sitting ontop of Pax's right hand.

He attempted the technique again but this time adding more chakra while holding his hand in the water. Qucikly performing his seals, he shoots his right hand under the water and pulls it up after a short time. The claw had appeared to be bigger than the last one and it was holding now. Now deciding to test the pure strength of the aquatic claws them selves he turns over to a stack of wood sitting hear the stream. With one quci slash he severed 1 log into 4 disks.

The claw itself had been powerful but it was only shortly after that it dispursed into a puddle on the ground. It had seemed to last about twelve seconds total so this attack would only be used up close. Deciding to go home early from training he tries the jutsu one last time. This time, although, Pax had added enough chakra into it to create a 5 pronged claw. One aquatic razor blade over each knuckle. "One last cut." he speaks to him self as he slices another log and leaves it in 6 horribly small disks or wood. Heading home on that note had seemed like a good idea so he set off to his house to rest.

Returning home the very same day Pax realizes that there are a few aspects he overlooked. After reaching the halfway point between his house and the training field he sets off back to the training field.Once he reaches the field he instantly prepares himself for the jutsu. He takes out a kunai from his bag and a shuriken and places them right next to his left foot. He is standing, facing the stream and is just about ready to begin again.

He concentrates chakra to his hands as he begins to weave his hand signs. After the hand signs he kneels down and places his right hand in the water for 3 seconds. The claw had returned to his hand and had 6 prongs now instead of 5. 5 over his 4 knuckles and one over his thumb creating a 6 digit hand. As soon as he picks his hand up from the water he grabs the kunai and shuriken and begins to test a theory. He first grinds the shuriken across the claw to see if it would deflect a throwing star.

The shurkien had not pierced the claw so he quickly switches to his kunai. During the pressing of the kunai to the claw the claw dissappears returning to water. The kunai had become soaked which then gave Pax an idea. As he tested before water is an excelent conductor of electricity so he set up his training dummy and sat next to the stream again. Once more creating the seals, and eventually the claw he aproaches the dummy.

As he holds his right hand over the dummies hay-replica head he waits 12 seconds. Once the claw returned to water he quickly jumped back and used a lightning style technique. The same technique he had learned before the water style,Raiton - Rakurai Shuryuu (Lightning Style - Lightning Stream). After creating the seals and pointing his hands at the dummy an orb shot out and the dummies head began to spark furiously.

This had made Pax realize he can use the claw as an attack-defend skill. Attacking an opponent and attempting to make them more vunerable to lightning attacks. Also defending from blades and thrown weapons if his reaction is quick enough. The claw could also be a distraction to make the opponent try to take a long ranged attack instead of close ranged. The only flaw being if a ninja can already guess what he's doing then they will surely have a way to counter it.

Ending the training for the day on an upbeat, he finally headed home. This time leaving the dummy because he didn't want to get another singe on his body. The whole walk home Pax begins to imagine his first real fight. Almost immediatly he would begin to find a way to fight someone to hone his skills but he wanted to be a bit more prepared.

Pax had been visiting this training field so much ever since he became a genin that he was begining to remember certain scars in the earth. If this field had belonged to anyone it would deffinately be him. His training dummy had remained here over night so Pax jumped right into training by standing and walking 5 meters away from his dummy. The next thing he did however, was open his ninjutsu book and browse through some basic techniques he could learn. After looking through them, he decided to do one that wouldn't require a source of water.

The technique he had chosen was labeled pressure jet and it is said to have the speed of a rushing kunai. Already ahead of himself he begins his handsigns for the jutsu. Feeling the chakra in his throat change he began to spew water. Not in the form of a technique however, the water had seemed to surprise Pax and he began to vomit. The ninja had readied himself for the second try this time, knowing exactly what to expect this time.

The feeling in his throat suddenly changed, but it was different than the last time. He shot a bursting pressurized wave into the torso of the dummy. The dummy shot out of the ground quckly and became soaked. Not only had this technique didn't need a source, it also created a huge puddle. The size of the puddle had been 10 meters by 10 meters and it had looked impressive for his first try.

He wanted to try it again so this time he stacked some burnt logs 3 meters away form him. The ninja rushed through his seals flawlessly and then the feeling in his throught was back. He instantly shot a pressure jet wave at the stack which had instanly collappsed. The wood had been soaked completely, 1 lightning style and he could be dangerous. Finishing his technique he stays and trains more until he uses so much chakra he falls asleep on site.

Pax had woken up a few hours later and remembered that he had been practicing a new jutsu before he had passed out. Slowlyu getting up and wiping the tears from his eyes he walks towards the training dummy. He couldn't have been asleep for more than a few hours because the dummy had still been damp. The vomiting sensation of the jutsu still had not been very appealing to the ninja but he would get used to it.

The skill itself was fast but it doesn't have to much damaging force. Getting up and brushing dirt off of himself he faces the training dummy and stands 5 meters away from it. He creates his handsigns for the jutsu and begins to feel the vomiting sensation once again. As the water spews out of his mouth he watches as the dummy bobbles spastically. Now completely drentched again the dummy sits there motionlessly while Pax wipes water off of his chin.

Pax had wanted to practice this jutsu to the point that the feeling in his throat felt natural. He began to use the technique a few times and everytime he felt the feeling subside just a little. Almost out of chakra he attempts it two more times. The first time he tried it the feeling had been gone completely. The second time he tried it he vomitted up a huge amount of food from his stomach and almost collapsed. He must have run his chakra so low that it was begining to have repurcussion. Sprinting home to rest and get more chakra, he reaches his door step and falls asleep. His gaurdian the drags him inside to his bed and lets him sleep.

Going strong for water style training Pax decides to learn another technique. The technique was the mist clone and it had seemed to be a distraction tactic. In his ninjutsu book it had been ranked a c rank technique which would mean its among the other of his strongest attacks. Like always he had been anxious and decided to get started. He didn't need a training dummy for this skill so the field was pretty bare today.

The land had accumulated more scars after all the time he spent there. It made him feel as if he was getting stronger, faster. Ready to start he weaves the handsigns required for the technique. Suddenly a mist clone materializes right next to him. Unfortunatly the mist clone had turned out to be a distorted version of Pax.Almost as quickly as it had been materialized, it dematerialized and Pax was left to wonder what he did wrong.

Taking another swing at it he weaves his signs and eventually two mist clones pop up and 1 looks exactly like Pax while the other one is missing a face. Once again he realeases the ninjutsu and tries again. Not going to give up until he can atleast make two similar clone he weaves the seals. Two clones reappear and once again the face of one was missing. There must be something he is doing wrong, he theorizes.

Possibly right, he cannot check because all the ninjutsu book had said were the handsigns that were needed. At this point he had become extremely frustrated and began to get agitated that he could not make 2 simple clones. The extent of his rage had made him want to create the clone and punch it in it's blank face. Creating the seals, and the same two mist clones appear. Enraged by the pure sight of it's faceless appearance he swings at the clone.

Having been made from mist, it had disappeared when he swung and he landed on his face. Completely ticked off he can feel his own chakra begin to spike. So much so that he believed creating another clone would be worth a shot. Once again 2 clones popped out of thin air after his handsigns but surprisingly, there had been no deformation. Completely exhausted and drained he sets off to his house and continue studying the technique.

Having studied the aftermath of his last training, Pax had noticed a few things. One being he looked completely foolish striking a mist clone. Number two being that it had left his hand damp afterwards, and three being he should be able to create up to four clones max at his level. The clones had been created of mist which means it has a very small amount of water actually creating it, but it should be enough to use a low rank technique. With a plan in his head he sets off to his training spot he knew so well.

On arrival he began preparing immediatly, begining with his clone jutsu he procedes on doing his handsigns. Two clones instantly are created infront of him. Attempting his theory he strikes the first clone but does not land on his face this time. While his right hand is dripping wet he performs another set of seals and uses his water claw jutsu. The amount of water on his hand had only been enough to stablize a 3 pronged claw. This still had been more than he had expected. He figured the technique would have to be alot weaker to be able to work with the mist clones.

Noticing that the water source had been pretty low he slashes at the other clone and waits for the claw to deform. Once the claw vanished he wove his hand signs one more time and created 2 more clones. This time striking both of them with his right hand he began his water claw jutsu's handsigns. The claw had been struggling to appear but it finally had and it was a 5 pronged claw. The water source of the clones had been extremely low but if it had left water on him it would leave water on an opponent.

This little method may have been interesting to see but he was more concerned now with making as many clones as he possibly could. Taking another stab at the mist clone jutsu he went through his normal procedure and had created 3 clones. Although he had created 3, 1 of them was perfectly identical to Pax, while the other 2 were only similar to his appearance. Waiting out the duration of his clones had been taking him to long so he ended up slashing all three with his sword.

After spending a few hours working on clones he had gotten luck a few times by making 4 clones, but they all had minor differences, such as hair color, eye color, and even skin color. Confused on how he could screw up that bad that he had made a black version of himself he decides to stick with 3 for today. Trying to make 3 clones that were identical was his goal for the day.

Concentrating all of his remaining chakra he began his handsigns yet again. The ninja had created 3 clones again but the third had been half of his size. With no concern for his constant failure he begins one final set of seals. Using quick motions he finally uses the rest of his chakra and creates 3 perfect clones. Still in shock that he had actually done it he begins studying them intensivly. Surprised at his accomplishment he heads home for the night, for it was already begining to get dark.

After accomplishing creating 3 clone Pax is going to try a new approach on the ninjutsu. Most wet objects would carry an electric charge, he hoped his clones would have a similar effect. His theory had been scientifically based but mainly based off of the kunai that had shocked him in a previos day. The clones had made it so the enemy would have a hard time identifing him. The technique could work either way.

Approaching the field he takes his training dummy off of his back and set it up. The civilains around the area had become quite accostumed to seeing him around the training spot. After placing his dummy in the ground he jammed one of his kunai in the chest of the dummy and stood 5 meters away from it. He gathered his chakra and instantly created 3 clones which appeared in a triangle infront of him.

He quickly made more handsigns as he used channeled lightning strike on the middle one and the other two bolts of lightning had hit the other two clones. The clones could be easily recognizable due to the electric charge around them but when the passed through the training dummy a visable spark flew to the kunai. As each one passed through the dummy it had become wetter and more electrically charged.

The technique had worked but had a major flaw. A ninja would be able to notice that something is wrong with the clones. Maybe if he had waited until they struck a clone or until a clone approached an enemy he could use it as a transmitter. Trying his other method he created 3 more clones and the each phased through the training dummy, dispursing to water immediatly. Keeping the dummy wet Pax uses his channeled lightning strike technique again.

Forgetting that he had not placed two other recievers he quickly becomes shocked and the final bolt flies to the sky and strikes yet another bird. It had done so once before when he first was learning the technique. Blurting out profanities he is quickly knocked onto his ass from a bolt right to the chest.The blot had stung but the dummy had seemed to be in much worse condition.

Erradically flowing with electricity, it finally halts after about 5 minutes. The mist clones had amplified the lightning attack substanionsally. Taking a few more swings at the clone jutsu before he finally heads home to check the damage on his chest. Walking through the clones had felt refreshing due to the cold water splashing on his face so for half of the walk back that is what he had done.

Determination to finish the skill had far surpassed any feeling of fatige at this point. The ninja had begun training this technique with alot of things on his mind and now just one had remained. He had wanted to utilize all four clones. So far he had only been able to create 3 so for now he will focus mainly on that. The clones had been confusing to him in the start but now he believed he understood what he was doing.

As he walks to the training field he begins molding his chakra ahead of time to the element. Finally knowing how to completely make use of his water skills he begins to get a little bit anxious. The feeling eventually disappeared as he stared at the flowing stream across from the cut up field. Already preparing himself for training he immediatly begins forming his handsigns for the mist clones.

Starting off with three clones popping out once again he studys them. The chakra level had been the only way to tell the difference, other than Pax having a body temperautre and a heat signature while the clones had not. Pax had no sensory ninjutsu skills but even with his low understanding of everything in the ninja world due to his age, he could see this easily. When approaching a clone the air becomes lighter on cold days, and heavier on hotter days due to humidity. It had been the middle of winter so Pax was able to feel the air cool down around the clones.

After the clones had vanished Pax prepares himself to create a set of four clones. To do this right he must concentrate on the structure of the clone himself. Quickly after his hand signs 4 clones had appeared infront of him. None, to his surprise, had any major flaws to them. The fourth clone how ever had been created without eyelashes. Figuring it couldn't be too hard to fix that mistake he waits for the clones to revert to air once again.

Following more handsigns the ninja had created 4 perfect clones. To his utter disbelief he struck all for and began attempting it again to see if he could recreate the same thing everytime. Going at it for about 5 minutes now he was begining to get tired, but not once had a clone been miscreated. Still in complete shock he kept trying until his chakra was completely drained. With a huge second wind he jumped up and began creating and punching all of his clones for a good hour.

At this point in time he is on his last bit of chakra and the clones still fail to have a single flaw. Also out of breathe by now he creates one last set of clones. The clones, to his disbelief had still not been misformed. Passing out where he was, he hits the ground hard after he completely falls asleep.
