Effect: A Shunshin variation that creates swirling visual effect that's not elemental or of any current Shunshin no Jutsu to disguise the user's movements.

Drawback: Takes away the number of usages Shunshin no Jutsu - Oshi (Body Flicker Technique - Push). Same distance applications apply. Same drawbacks apply when over using. This is a chakra technique and may only be used as a NinJutsu Shunshin. Must be learned multiple times.
Description: User is able to perform any of the 5 Shunshin no Jutsu (Body Flicker Technique) with this Jutsu as well as any advancements of Shunshin. Instead of creating a puff of smoke the user can create a visual effect of their choosing to rise up and swirl around the user to disguise their movements as they perform a Shunshin no Jutsu (Body Flicker Technique). The visual effect may vary such as stars swirling around the user, lines swirling around the user, sparkles swirl around the user, and etc. When first learned user is only able to create 1 effect of their choosing, however the more they use they are able to create a new effect. Example: User learns this once and makes wavy lines swirl around the user. User must learn this technique a second time in order to create a new effect.
Limit: Must know The 5 Shunshin no Jutsu (Body Flicker Technique).

The log was coming down fast and hard, the weight of it was tearing all the other trees asunder and creating even more debris and falling logs; turning this battlefield into a nightmare. The good news was that the screeching of bark snapping and scraping against bark was loud enough to light up the entire forest in such detail that he could see the insects escaping the scene, wriggling away as hurriedly as possible to escape the danger. They were a hell of a lot luckier than he was. Releasing his chakra that was binding him to the tree, he began to fall towards the earth, trying to give himself more time. The debris was catching up now though, pelting him with sharp splinters of bark that were fired like bullets in all directions from each collision. There was no room around it this time; there were too many other falling trees that mixed up the pile, he would be crushed if he tried to get up there, as their movements and collisions were so random it was impossible to time or figure out a pattern.

Xerxes stood at the top, Archimedes was able to see the elder grinning like an idiot as he rode the massive log down towards his apprentice. This knowledge of where the old man was of no comfort to him, as it did not aid him in the slightest, since he knew the old man was going to leave him to fend for himself, he always did. Striking a foot against the trunk of the tree he was falling beside; he launched himself backwards, landing on the ground and then rolling to dissipate most of the momentum. The calamity was falling faster and he was growing more worried about what to do about all this. Xerxes was not the only one who could use their surroundings as a weapon though, and the younger Shitakuma was desperate. Drawing his fist in and focusing as hard as he could, he struck the base of one of the large trees and felt the satisfying crack of the timber. Unfortunately he was not quite as strong as the elder, so it required more than one strike to break the wood.

Three more strikes and it began to tip; since the falling tree was pushing it away, it began to fall away from him, which was perfect, as it opened up a path for him to travel. Leaping onto the falling trunk, he focused on where he was going next, and that was up this trunk, beyond the falling one, where he could once more attack his opponent. Tactically, all of his moves were already known by Xerxes, but if he were to fight someone who did not possess such a keen sense of hearing and sight of everything around him, creating the puff of smoke with the shunshin would have been a dead give away of his position. Gathering the chakra around his body, he moved forward swiftly, suppressing the large poof of smoke and performing it without the extras of the technique. He felt the warmth of the sun peek over the edge of the giant tree as he came from underneath its shadow and was revealed up above. Xerxes was not surprised, but that was plain, both could see each others movements due to their kekkai genkai. Leaping from the trunk of the still falling tree, he landed on the large branch that had slowed, having been caught and stuck somewhere against the other trees.

"Knew ye could do it lad"

The younger Shitakuma wanted to smack that annoying grin off of the elders face, but the geezer was a force to be reckoned with, and Archimedes was out of breath. Maybe 3 minutes had passed since they had entered the forest, and in three minutes he had been worn down to practically nothing. His legs ached from the forced Shunshin techniques he had needed to perform just to survive; and his muscles ached from the fighting. The older Shitakuma looked perfectly calm and rested, like they had just went for a pleasant walk through a meadow as opposed to combat in a deadly jungle of monstrous trees and animals. No matter, he would not stop until he could not move, that was how their training always worked. Once more performing that shunshin, suppressing the smoke still, he moved forward to strike, sending a powerful right hook at the head of the fighter, which was countered with a left block and a headbutt directly into Archimedes face, with such speed and power that he was blind for a few moments after he hit the ground. Everything spun for a moment before he realized he was always blind.

Archimedes launched himself back to his standing position and spat out a mouthful of blood onto the branch that the two Shitakuma were treating as their battle ground. His nose was broken; his legs ached like no other; he had no more chakra to expend. Training was pretty much over for the day; there was nothing left in the young Shitakuma to give, and yet he still stood defiant before this elder; wanting more, not ready to bend his knee and relent. It did occur to him that although he wanted more, giving more was another situation entirely. Clenching his fist, he cracked the knuckles on both hands and settled into a boxing stance, waiting for the older fighter to begin. Xerxes did not need any more signal than that, as he leapt towards the younger man with relish and struck with a powerful cross punch that the younger male managed to dodge by leaning his head back and stepping back with his lead food, putting him just out of reach. The combo was not finished though, and the second hit came very quickly after, but Archimedes was ready and performed a shunshin technique.

Instead of the usual cloud that signalled the Shunshin technique, Archimedes had something else in store. Not that it mattered to a blind opponent, but he was trying anyway. The air became shadows around him and spiralled inwards as though he had been sucked into another dimension. In actuality he had moved backwards and grasped some branches sticking up and used them as projectiles as the elder moved at him again. The branches did not even strike him, as he performed a shunshin himself; moving between the two thrown objects and at the younger male, who threw an elbow as he came from the movement. The elbow strike was blocked and the two engaged in a short blow for blow round where they both stuck opposing sides of each others strikes. Unfortunately in a flat out of game of who could last longer; Archimedes was already handicapped and losing steam fast. His blows carried far less weight on a good day, for him to go like this was suicide. Forsaking another strike; he ducked and tackled; only to have his tackle fall flat as the older man performed another quick movement and landed behind him.

Another vacuum effect was created as his own Shunshin propelled him forward where he landed on his knees and fell onto his side, panting and spluttering, coughing up blood from the three powerful strikes he had taken to the face during the exchange of blows. Xerxes had apparently though it was enough as he dropped his guard and walked over to the younger Shitakuma, who was certain he was a pitiable sight. No one could say he had not given it his all though. The elder man reached down and dragged him to his feet, where he stood, but swayed a little, as his muscles were screaming in pain from the overuse of the Shunshin technique. Xerxes patted a hand on his back and he nodded shakily; accepting that the training was over for today after only ten minutes. Well, their training was over, Archimedes wanted to do some more; but maybe not anything physical for now, practicing his Shitakuma techniques was probably something he would be a little more comfortable with for a while. Spitting out one more gob of blood, he looked for the elder, but he had vanished, leaving the damaged youth to get home on his own.

Deciding that sitting down was probably a better thing for his rather abused body to do, he looked around and tried to figure out what it was he was trying to accomplish with changing the actual shunshin technique the way he had. Obviously he mostly felt that the cloud of white smoke was a silly idea, especially if one wanted to remain hidden, which was his speciality. The swirling darkness that was like a hole opening in another dimension was attractive to him, even if he did not see it, all encompassing darkness felt oddly appropriate for a man who had no sight. Groaning; he fell back and lay on his back and tried to stretch his aching body to chase away some of the pain. Xerxes was on a whole other level from him, especially since he had been able to perform the same shunshin techniques as he had, and then some without even breaking a sweat. Obviously Archimedes was quite out of shape for a taijutsu master, he needed to work on that. A spasm of pain ran through his arm as he tried to wipe his brow. Maybe later.

Effect: A Jutsu that allows a user to rush forward in almost instantaneous speed. Used to draw the user close to the opponent.
Special: ---
Drawback: May use 3 times a day. May perform 1 more each time learned. Passing amount renders the user's legs immobile due to severe pain. Unable to perform again unless gained medical treatment. Must move through an opening. Unable to maneuver around obstructing objects. Can't attack while performing any Shunshin or Variation.
Description: User is able to move forward in a straight line along the ground in almost instantaneous untraceable speed while temporarily masking the user's movements within 10 meters. A puff of smoke is occasionally used to disguise the user's movements. It is accomplished by focusing the user's chi along the ankles and foot. User mostly moves just with their ankles and feet. Jutsu takes up no movements. User may only use this Jutsu half of the movements may allow in a single round while rounding down. Example: User has 5 movements, user is able to perform Jutsu 2 times per round.
Limit: Universal NinJutsu or Universal TaiJutsu.

Archimedes awoke to a chirping sound, and his startled awakening shook the small bird from his face and he sat up startled. Night had fallen apparently, not that he knew from the light, but from the cool air that had his temperature a little lower than comfortable. His entire body still ached but he was able to move now at least, it was a stiffness he would have felt the day after hitting the weights at the gym. Groaning, he pushed himself to his feet and took a deep breath in, absorbing the sounds from around him to see if anything in the forest had changed since he had apparently passed out. Lots of animals had come out to play; lots of big animals that made him quite nervous about the route home. They did not recommend coming out into this forest at night, and he sort of understood why now. It seemed that his wake up had attracted a couple of interested creatures that were scratching against the bark of the fallen tree he was standing on.

The quadruped creatures were quite unlike anything he had ever seen before, and he was remarkably uncomfortable with the fact that he could see what they were in all their terrifying glory. On a normal day, with Takame at his side, and with no injuries on his body; he would have been fine with it. Unfortunately; he found himself unarmed and exhausted, not a great combination when it came to defending ones self in the wild. There was one thing he had on his side for this confrontation, and that was the fact that he had quite the amount of experience under his belt when it came to running away lately, so that was a slight comfort. The sounds of night allowed him to see everything around him, to the hunters awaiting his movements, to the birds in the trees that watched intently, hoping to gather scraps from his corpse. The trees and each path that he could take were open to him, giving him time to assess which direction would be the best one to travel in.

Realistically, he had no idea where he was heading, and there was nothing within his 'sight' that allowed him to figure out which way would get him back into the city, so he was just hoping to find something that would get him out of the forest. Bending at the knee he stretched a little bit before his run, if he seized up on the escape, that would not be much good for him. The clawing grew closer, as did the beasts doing it, and a bead of sweat grew on his forehead as he grew a little nervous. Leaping from the branch, he flipped and landed practically sprinting already. There were surprised noises as the beasts were startled and then ready to kill. Archimedes ran as fast as he could, dodging left past a massive fallen piece of one of the fallen trees. The growls and snarls were so close behind him, but he paid them no heed, refusing to allow the fear consume him. As he approached a large rock after winding around a large turn in the path he had chosen, his legs tensed and the shadows gathered about him and contorted.

The Shitakuma burst to the left and tore through a small bush that tore his shirt and lacerated the skin. He winced but he pushed it to the back of his mind as he continued in his sprint. The dogs had been confused for a moment at his disappearance, but the sounds of his footfalls were proof enough of his location anyway, so he did not falter in his steps. Hurdling the corpse of a laden tree, he stumbled and had to push off of a tree with his right hand to keep him from careening into at full speed. Off balance and slowed down, he had to try and get himself on track as this faltering lost the precious seconds he had gained with the Shunshin. Ducking his head down he got his feet back on track, regaining his balance and speeding up, he concentrated on finding something to trap them on that he could leap over. In the midst of these thoughts, he was struck with great force from the side and cried out as he struck the floor of the forest, with a snarling, rabid beast trying to rip his face off.

The dogs tore at his flesh and he screamed out in pain, swearing loudly as his weakened arms beat at the powerful flesh of the wolves. The teeth sunk into his flesh, tearing him apart. His defences grew less and less as the blood drained from his body. Silence finally filling his head as death claimed him.
