“By God, sir, I’ve lost my leg.”, “By God, sir, so you have.” ~The Earl of Uxbridge, noticing he lost something, to the Duke of Wellington at the battle of Waterloo.
Jin and Okami ran as sneakily and as quickly as they could. Having recently gone missing from Leaf village, Jin was scared of pursuers. Okami sniffed the air and snarled. Looking over at his companion, Jin couldn't help but wince. It could only mean one thing. "Damn, they're onto us already?" He complained. Jin stopped running and turned around. He activated his Byakugan. With an air of authority suited to his noble birth, he bellowed a direct command. "Whoever you are, come out now. You can't hide from me."
Sorry that it took me a bit longer than expected to post.
And a byakugan? -.- You are my worst match XD
Stepping forth from the shrubbery he would eye the Hyuuga, stopping next to a helpful log. Fifty meters separating the two ninja, it was strange that Solus could easily recognize this guy as his target. But for the emerald Ryuugan, this was only child's play. A shade crept through the sky as the Genmaster would raise his hands, deprived of his normal way of fighting he opted for the most logical solution: Parley. "Hyuuga Jin, was it not? And your loyal companion, how fortunate that I don't have to split up myself. You see, your shares on the bingo book market just took an unexpected rise, and I am kind of a... Investor. But I am sure we can come to a suitable business agreement, concerning the little situation that is currently developing, savvy?" The Kazeraikou would stay alert for any hostile behaviour of his opponent, this guy had not attained the Jounin rank by a daily scratching of his ass.

Heroes of Solus #8:
“By God, sir, I’ve lost my leg.”, “By God, sir, so you have.” ~The Earl of Uxbridge, noticing he lost something, to the Duke of Wellington at the battle of Waterloo.
Just as he was told, the man came out from where he was hiding. He proceeded to raise his hands, and seemed to be willing to talk. After they had both activated their respective doujutsu however, the air seemed too tense for talking. The longer Jin waited, the greater the chance that reinforcements from Konoha would come. So this was what it felt like to be a missing ninja. The whole world was now his enemy. For now, the Hyuuga had to deal with the enemy standing before him, who seemed to be offering some sort of deal.
"Hyuuga Jin, was it not? And your loyal companion, how fortunate that I don't have to split up myself. You see, your shares on the bingo book market just took an unexpected rise, and I am kind of a... Investor. But I am sure we can come to a suitable business agreement, concerning the little situation that is currently developing, savvy?"
What a weak line. Jin kept his eyes open for any sign of chakra use, hints that this might be a trick to buy time, and thought about what to do. "I suppose we don't need to fight," the Jounin agreed. "Beating you here would waste precious time and energy. If you just leave your weapons, items, and any money you have on you at your feet and walk away, I'll leave it at that." Jin intentionally misinterpreted the proposition, but he said it with full sincerity and a kind tone. He really would prefer it if his deal was accepted.
He just shook his head once, it was clear that either this man was stupid or playing tricks. In any case Solus was not going to play along, they both knew what would happen anyways. His hands slipping into his pouches he would make them reemerge holding six kunai he had prepared with exploding techs ages ago.
Three in each hand, he would throw two of these projectiles, one aimed to land a meter in front of the man and his beasty, the other would be flicked to land at the man's left side, also a meter away. Bringing his hands together, four kunai dangling from his fingers through the loops at the end of the handle he would form a single handseal.
The millisecond in which each projectile would he would detonate the tag, engulfing the man in a blaze of glory, which should hopefully bring him and his mutt to their knees, and hopefully dead, succumbing to the flames eating away their fur, hair, clothing and skin.
“By God, sir, I’ve lost my leg.”, “By God, sir, so you have.” ~The Earl of Uxbridge, noticing he lost something, to the Duke of Wellington at the battle of Waterloo.
The pursuer had the courtesy to shake his head "no" before he began, as opposed to launching a sneak attack. It was a refreshing change of pace for a ninja. Still, directly and obviously throwing kunai from fifty meters away was no way to go about seriously trying to capture a Jounin.
Jin ran right and Okami ran left. As long as they didn't sit still, the kunai weren't a threat. They split up and began to run in a circle around the opponent in opposite directions. Their intended destinations were at opposite sides of the opponent, flanking him from both directions. They ran behind trees in order to both hide themselves from sight and cut off the paths that the opponent could throw his kunai. Jin made handseals as he ran. His Byakugan could penetrate through these trees with ease, but could the opponent see him? Jin had never seen the doujutsu before, so he didn't factor that into his plans either way.
So far the imbalances in their position were that Jin had an extra ally, and that the opponent's hands were currently tied up holding four kunai. That meant his strings of handseals would be slower, if not impossible. In order to make use of this, Jin needed to strike fast and hit him while mounting a proper defense would take more time than usual. At this distance, projectiles were useless in that regard. After the few handseals that he had started at the onset of his run were complete, Jin channeled his chakra into the grass under the opponent's feet. The grass would suddenly become strong, and would wrap around the opponent's legs, holding him in place. It could not be cut by mere kunai, so if it worked, the kunai-holding opponent would be at a disadvantage.
At this point the opponent would be busy dealing with the grass, and perhaps even immobile, so projectiles became an option. The opponent had to do something about that grass, or it would crawl up his body and even immobilize his arms. Jin didn't even bother coming out from behind the tress to find a clear line of sight. His Byakugan already pierced the trees, and his senbon could too. Jin flicked a couple senbon with enough power to penetrate directly through the cover of trees and still reach the opponent. They weren't wrapped with exploding tags, but big bang tags, which resulted in monstrous explosions. One was sent to land two meters diagonally ahead and to the right of the opponent, while the other would land two meters diagonally behind and to the left. This would cover the maxium possible radius in both directions, while still maintaining lethal power at the epicenter where the opponent stood. Detonating them both with a single handseal, the resulting explosion would cover a great area.
Once the explosion was finished with, Jin and Okami would have reached their destinations. Both would be 45 meters from the opponent, but in opposite directions.
Mokuton: Tsuchi Baindo Rank: C Rank Skill: Ninjutsu Effect: Literally Mokuton: Tsuchi Baindo means Wood: Earth Bind. The reason why it's called such is because of the effects of th technique. As a Ninjutsu the technique utilizes chakra. Here the user forms the handsigns and collects whatever takes part of the landscape/ground and forms strips of cloth out of it. With Mokuton it manipulates grass or wood. Special: Rat, Boar, Dog, Ox, Tiger Drawback: One must have Wood Release to perform. Description: The Grass or Wood forms white strips looking much like bandages that rise from the ground and wrap tightly around the opponent. The strips are thick enough that they cannot be cut through with a kunai, and are wrapped tight enough to leave the enemy immobile. Limit: Wood Release
Ryoku-Tama (Power Shot) Rank: B Skill: Tai Effect: The user is capable of throwing a projectile weapon so hard, that it can penetrate threw a hard concrete wall. If used on a human being it can go straight threw the humans flesh and bones. Special: --- Drawback: --- Description: Tightening the muscles in their arm and wrist, the user quickly snaps their wrist as they trust their arm froward to send their projectile weapon flying with great speed and force. The projectile does more damage then a regular threw as it can penetrate the hardest of substances. This can slow or cripple an enemy if used correctly, in the hands of a master if can be a deadly weapon. Limit: Must be a Senbon Taitoku user.
Grass would start to rise up at his feet, crawling around his feet and rising. With the Ryuugan, he did not even had to turn his eyes in order to see this new threat. In the distance his opponent was flashing quickly between the trees. His trajectory seemed to be kind of obvious. In order to free his hands he would throw all four kunai straight up into the air with one fluid movement. His eyes would recognize a new danger, senbon with attached tags coming quickly his way. His possibilities were limited. In his hand a lightning bolt would be formed and thrown at his feet, the mastery he possessed in lightning keeping him free from pain.
With a part of the grass withering away under the charring touch of buzzing electrons the Genmaster would make his escape through Sugizou. Shifting ten meters to the left he would stay out of the blast range, allowing his shady image to be detonated. His hands came together once again in a single seal. The kunai he had thrown earlier would come down. Seeing the trajectory they would follow two would land at the Hyuuga's position and two would land at the dogs position, both on opposite sides of the target and two meters away. After seeing the first movements of his opponents Solus had already used the Ryuugan to make an estimation of their speed and trajectory and thus adjusted his throw to these facts. His eye was not the Sharingan which could almost see into the future, but with the Ryuugans perception and a quick mind he could come a long way.
This might seem a bit awkward, but my turn ends before the kunai hit the ground, thus, at the end of my turn they are still a few meters above you.
~Ryuugan active. ~Lightning mastery. ~4 Kunai, each with an explosive tag attached thrown. ~1/3 Sugizou
Zeus's Bolt Rank: C Rank Skill: Nin Effect: The user is able to make a three foot long lightning bolt in their hand which they can throw at that opponent. Special: None Drawback: None Description: By focusing chakra in the center of the palm the use is able to send lightning from the center of the palm to make a three foot long lightning bolt in their hand which is able to be thrown like a javelin. Limit: Lightning Release Skill (Raiton no Jutsu).
“By God, sir, I’ve lost my leg.”, “By God, sir, so you have.” ~The Earl of Uxbridge, noticing he lost something, to the Duke of Wellington at the battle of Waterloo.
(Note: Your left is directly toward the flank Jin was headed for if I have a correct visual in my head.)
Jin's Perspective
The opponent got rid of his kunai by hurling them an outrageous distance above him, and burned his shackles with lightning while Jin threw his own senbon. It was the perfect opportunity to crush the opponent, but unfortunately he had problems of his own to deal with. The kunai that were tossed up were already heading back down and were aimed directly at him. He might not have seen them if he didn't have his Byakugan. But the opponent could predict that far ahead? Jin was somewhat impressed, but very disappointed. If the guy had guessed it, he should have made some sort of effort to stop the powerful formation, rather than continuing his little kunai attacks. It seemed Jin's opponent was excellent with precise techniques, but lacked a good sense for basic battle strategy. The Hyuuga whispered one little command into his communications device: "Come."
Jin was still hidden behind a cluster of trees, so he assumed it would be okay to use his extra arms a little bit here. Time was precious, and the opponent probably couldn't see him. Two of his arms threw very accurate senbon that would knock the approaching kunai off course. After the arms' little excursion out into the open air they would sneak back inside his cloak. His other two arms made more handseals. With four arms he could attack and defend at the same time, keeping up a relentless assault.
The handseals were complete. He felt that his grass attacks were working. The opponent seemed to have some trouble with them, yet foolishly decided to remain on the very grass that gave him so much trouble. As long as he stayed on Jin's element he would be at a disadvantage. The grass was nearly everywhere around here though, so it was hard to place blame. The beginning of the technique would seem just like the last one, with grass converging around the opponent. This time however, the grass was not directly targeting the opponent, instead forming a gigantic tangled ball. If it didn't get him in formation it would roll after him until it got him. At this point Okami would have sneakily closed to about 20 meters from the opponent, but would do nothing more than hide behind a tree. Jin should have been about 35 meters from the opponent.
Okami's Perspective
An explosion. It happened where the target should have been, but somehow the guy escaped over toward his master. At the sound of the explosion, the beast followed. Okami had never intended to remain at a distance in the first place. The monkey was primarily a close range fighter, and had only remained at a range because it was a strategic formation his master enjoyed. He had been waiting for a chance to make his approach, and Jin's explosion (which happened first) was the perfect cover. It was directly between him and the opponent. A couple of shunshins took him twenty meters toward the opponent, and out of the range of the kunai, but he preferred to make the rest of his approach in a less flashy manner. He was trying to be stealthy after all. As a trained pack hunter, he knew to make use of the fact that his prey could only deal with one opponent at a time. Since his target headed over toward his master, the ninja wouldn't be able to see or deal with the beast approaching from behind him. Twenty meters away from the target, he hid behind a tree.
Grass Ball Rank: C Skill: Ninjutsu Effect: Creates a large grass ball that rolls over things, absorbs them, and then tightens around them. Special: Handseals, Hold Dragon. Drawback: May only be used in grassy areas. If the handseal is not held the ball will roll into the closest target, be it an ally, an enemy, or the user himself until the user holds the handseal to direct it again. Description: After the user performs the handseals the grass in the area grows larger, and weaves together into a sphere with a radius of 5 meters. This ball may then be directed as the user wishes. Any objects that the ball passes over may be absorbed and pulled in by the strands of grass and then crushed. The amount of crushing force delivered each turn something is held in the ball is C ranked. If the ball is struck by solidified objects smaller that and equal or lower to C rank in force they will captured. This applies to projectiles only. Any opponent is captured upon contact with the ball. Due to the nature of the ball many attacks may also pass through it without fully destroying it. This is because the attack must be large enough to fully destroy the ball or else they will only make the ball smaller, as no part of the ball is necessary to its continued existence. This technique lasts five turns if not destroyed early. Limit: Wood Release
Senbon Sogekihei (Senbon Sharpshooter) Rank: C Rank Skill: Taijutsu Effect: Throwing a single senbon from far away with extreme accuracy the user can penetrate certain parts of the anatomy that they learn in their training of this jutsu. By hitting these they can slow enemies down with a single throw, or even do minor damage from far away. Special: None Drawback: Only one Senbon allowed Description: Using a flick of the wrist this silent technique can send a senbon soaring in. This does more damage than a random throw with the senbon and can add hit certain points slowing enemies down more then most believe possible with a single senbon. Limit: Must be of the Senbon Taitoku, Must know the Senbon Taitoku Stance
The sound of two deflected kunai would echo through the arena, giving a new indication of his opponents position, about thirty five meters to his left. The other one had disappeared from view. Detonating the two tags that were aimed at the monkey anyway, just to be sure that he might have hit something.
He had a new problem though, the grass around him had started to stir once again. Sunshining ten meters forward the Genmaster would notice the fact that the relentless ball would be coming for him. A sweatdrop came down the side of his face when he looked over his shoulder, this was not good. Continuing to run he would raise his left arm as hisright hand would be brought to a tattoo on his arm. A nail ripped through his skin, drawing quickly a bloody gash over the pitch black skin decoration.
It didn't take long until a monstrous puff of smoke would instantly lift the Genmaster into the air. With a single flap of the hundred meter wingspan wings a gargantuan creature would leap forth into the air, the wind dispersing the cloud and blowing all shrubbery aside, only the deep rooted trees would remain standing. Rising into the air the raven would twist and face the area where the opponents were located. Thirty meters high into the air and forty meters away from his starting location the Genmaster would asses the situation. Within the bird chakra would start swirling.
“By God, sir, I’ve lost my leg.”, “By God, sir, so you have.” ~The Earl of Uxbridge, noticing he lost something, to the Duke of Wellington at the battle of Waterloo.
It seemed Jin's grass technique didn't do its job. The opponent managed to escape with a shunshin. Then a giant bird appeared out of nowhere. Things were getting ridiculous, so Jin started doing handseals for a more powerful technique. A blast of wind rushed around him. Jin had hidden himself in the thickest, deepest patch of trees as a means of hiding, so he was mostly protected from it.
Okami on the other hand was picked up and tossed away like a shrub. Catching himself in the air, the flying monkey unveiled his wings. It was time to attack. The smaller creature flew directly toward that monstrous beast of a bird with no fear in his heart. Even if it was big, Okami was stronger and faster than anything he had met before.
So it seemed that as the bird started preparing chakra, it was already in the midst of a combination attack. A high pressured stream of water would blast out of that little thicket of tress that Jin had hidden himself in, coming directly from his mouth. A bird that size would most certainly have a hard time avoiding a piercing attack aimed directly for its centre. Once the bird was cut through, all that would be left was to slice the stranded hunter-nin.
The attacks that Okami could pull of were somewhat more limited, but they were very strong. As he was approaching, his wings fired off a few feathers at the hunter-nin. A few feathers coming at him should be nothing to worry about while riding a gigantic bird totally full of feathers, right? Of course these feathers were actually made sharp, and would cut like kunai if they happened to hit home, which happened to be about a second before the water stream.
But Okami's true power came when he got close. He would fly straight through the bird's wing, punching as fast as he could and crushing the wing with his body. Okami's close range techniques were powerful enough to leave a rather large hole in the wing when he was finished, and there was no way the bird would be capable of flight.
Suiton: Oshikire Mizu Kasui no Jutsu (Water Release: Pressure Slicing Water Stream Technique) Rank: A Skill: Ninjutsu, Offensive. Effect: Sends a powerful, fast moving and pressurized current of water from the user's mouth towards an opponent. Special: "Hand Seals", hold Ram. Drawback: Overuse can result in the user becoming dehydrated. The user must hold the Ram handseal for the duration of the technique. Drains an additional "C" rank amount of chakra for every turn that the water jet continues past the first. Description: A powerful attacking Ninpou that utilizes the Suiton Element, Oshikiri Mizu Kasui builds off of the basis gained by the shinobi when they have learned Suiton: Baku Suishoha. By channeling a great amount of chakra into their gullet, they can then generate a large amount of water and, with proper direction, can release this chakra in a great wave. This technique builds upon these principles, gathering the chakra within the gullet. However, the release is executed differently. In this technique, the user continuously molds their chakra throughout the water being created, and pushes it outwards in a fast-moving, powerful stream of water that, while thin (no larger than the shape of the user's mouth), allows for the combination of speed of pressure to slice through powerful defenses. The slicing power of this technique is capable of penetrating up to "A" Rank defensive techniques. The user is capable of extending the water stream outwards a maximum distance of sixty meters from their location, and is also capable of continuing the water stream for a total of five turns. Due to the centralization of the technique, it is also possible to move while this technique is active, unlike that of Baku Suishoha. Limit: Must know Suiton: Baku Suishoha.
Feather Shot Rank: C Skill: TaiJutsu Effect: A technique where the Animal can launch feathers from its wings towards an opponent by controlling the muscles within the wings. Special: --- Drawback: --- Description: Using their feathers, the animal member can shoot them off in one direction. When they are launched, the feathers become razor sharp, allowing the similar effect of a kunai or shuriken. They swing their wings off in the direction they wish to shoot it. The feathers will either go until they hit something, or for twenty meters feet before they start losing momentum or hit the ground. Limit: Any Flying animal.
Mastery: Outside Fighter Rank: A Skill: TaiJutsu Effect: The Outside Fighter are the Tacticianist. They like to stay on the outside space of fighters letting the fighters come to them while using their foot work to avoid attacks. The Outside Fighter has two effects. First Effect is that they hit faster than normal fighters. This means they can hit more times in a single movement then a normal fighter. The second fighter is because they need to use their foot work and since they like to stay along the outside of fighter’s circles they have a higher experience in blocking. This means that an Outside Fighter's blocking capability becomes stronger than other fighters. Special: --- Drawback: This Mastery does not stack with other masteries dealing with attacking multiple times in a single movement. This Mastery works only on striking techniques using only the Fists. This Mastery works with Universal Techniques, however does not stack with attacking multiple times in a single movement Techniques that increases the user's striking mobility. This Mastery only works if user has a good footing and proper stance, as well as the guard that's being used. Description: When the user learns this kind of mastery, their blocking abilities become better, while their speed increases as well. This is done because the outside fighter needs to be able to block hits, following with a quick counter, or be able to hit the opponent multiple times wearing him down. When the user first learns this technique every boxer, or every fighter that fights in hand to hand combat is able to attack with their left, and their right to take up a single movement.
* B Rank Mastery - Gaining 500 Training Points - User is able to attack two additional times with their lead hand (the hand that jabs) while they are able to attack one more time with their strong hand in a single movement. The blocking capabilities increase as well by .2 per rank. * A Rank Mastery - Gaining 1000 Training Points - User is able to attack one more time with their lead hand, and another time with their strong hand. Their blocking abilities increase as well by an additional .2 per rank. * S Rank Mastery - Gaining 1500 Training Points - User is able to attack an extra time with their lead hand, while an additional time with their strong hand. This would give a user a total of 4 times with their jabbing arm, while three with their strong arm. This gives them better capabilities of creating fiercer combo, while their blocking abilities increase by an additional .2 per rank.
Limit: Must have mastered Bokushingu (Boxing) by gaining 500 Training Points. Every 500 Points extra until they reached 1,500 Training Points the user is able to pick either Mastery: Outside Fighter for greater speed and blocking ability, or user is able to pick Mastery: Inside Fighter to become a Hybrid Fighter.
Haymaker Rank: A x2 Skill: TaiJutsu Effect: A punch in which the arm is whipped sideways from the shoulder joint with minimal elbow bend. The Haymaker is a technique in which the user hits with all they got for a knock out. Special: --- Drawback: Wild like punch, should be used in a combo. Description: The name is derived from the motion, which mimics the action of manually cutting hay by swinging a scythe. Since a haymaker's power is derived from weight transfer and momentum instead of muscle contraction, a long windup is required to generate sufficient force. The technique is an A Rank technique but has the destructive power of an A Rank technique because of all of the prerequisites. This means that if a Boxer Punched into a defense that is capable of holding up an A Rank technique the Haymaker is capable of pushing through the barrier. This technique is capable of being learned multiple times. Each time this technique is learned the Haymaker gains an extra feel of damage of an A Rank. Limit: Must learn in a gym that teaches Bokushingu (Boxing), Must know the Four Punching Basics, Must have Mastered Bokushingu (Boxing).
Jolt Blow Rank: C Skill: TaiJutsu Effect: A variation of a Haymaker. Special: --- Drawback: Must have good speed, or else this could be very bad towards the user as a counter. Description: Picture The Jolt Blow is a reckless punch distinguished by putting the entire body weight of a fighter behind a single punch. The combatant charge forward, building up momentum as the arm is whipped sideways from the shoulder joint to unleash a huge punch. Basically it’s haymaker to utilize complete destruction if connected. This Technique is utilized by the user's legs by pushing forward. When added with the original Haymaker it adds the extra C rank to the technique making the Haymaker extremely difficult to absorb. Limit: Must learn in a gym that teaches Bokushingu (Boxing), Must know the Four Punching Basics, Must know Haymaker.
Tornado Jolt Rank: B Skill: TaiJutsu Effect: A variation of the Jolt Blow. Special: --- Drawback: Description: Picture Refined version of Jolt Blow. By twisting the body to its limits, the speed of a hook increases dramatically, giving a big amount of additional power. With this technique a user doesn't even have to take a running start, the user can simply perform the Tornado Jump. Basically it’s haymaker to utilize complete destruction if connected. When added with the original Haymaker it adds the extra B rank to the technique making the Haymaker extremely difficult to absorb. Limit: Must learn in a gym that teaches Bokushingu (Boxing), Must know the Four Punching Basics, Must know Jolt Blow.
Abnormal Punch Rank: B Skill: TaiJutsu Effect: A technique where the user punches at abnormal, and odd angles while never loosing the full power of a punch. Special: --- Drawback: --- Description: This is considered to be a pinnacle of punching ability. If a user is normally flat footed, or punches in an odd position they lose power. This technique however makes the user's punching ability in its prime possession. This means that a user is able to fall down while punching an uppercut, or sidestepping while arching their back giving a left hook to an opponent's face while never losing any power within this technique. This technique also works well while using Haymaker attacks as well where the user can trip, while attacking with the intention of full force. This gives the ultimate punch a whole new angle. Limit: Must learn in a gym that teaches Bokushingu (Boxing), Must know the Four Punching Basics. Must have Mastered Bokushingu (Boxing), Must have Gained 1000 Training Points in Bokushingu (Boxing)
Kitsui Kaba (Close Bull Rush) Rank: "C" Skill: TaiJutsu Effect: You become an expert at delivering a Bulrush. One who delivers a devastating blow capable of blowing though concrete, charging forth with such strength that obstacles does not matter. A full power bulrush feels as if it is much stronger then it should be. When the user learns this technique they are capable of using Sensai Kaba (Master Bull Rush) without a running start. Special: --- Drawback: --- Description: With this technique, the user does not have to rush, or really the user does not need a running start. This technique enables that of the Sensai Kaba (Master Bull Rush) capability without taking a running start. The user takes the understanding of Bulrush to a newest degree to where whenever they make connect, a rush is more powerful, more dangerous then how most people are capable of using the Bulrush. This technique feels as if the strength of the technique increases depending on the Class level of the user. Whenever the user first learns this as a "D" Class character, the technique feels as if it is a "B" Rank technique. This means that whenever a user bulrushes through a defense, the defense takes the hit as if it is trying to stop a "B" Rank technique. When the user becomes a "C" Class character, the rank of the technique feels that of an "A" Rank technique. Finally when the user reaches "B" Class, the technique feels as if it would be considered as a "S" Rank technique. Limit: Must know Sensai Kaba (Master Bull Rush)
