Appearance.
- Height - 5'10"
- Weight - 165 lbs.
- Hair Color - Dark brown(almost black).
- Eye Color - Light blue.
Softly tanned skin, light in tone despite the amount of time he has spent traveling and working outside. Tall and lanky by appearance, the perfect build for a swordsman of his stature. Medium length, black hair falling just above his shoulders, well maintained. Very few scars grace his body, despite the amount of battles and injuries he's sustained. Two main scars can be found upon his body, one is a vertical line through his right eye, the other is a diagonal slash from his left shoulder to his lower right back. Both injuries sustained in his past battles, each with a deep story attached, yet neither scar is often seen by those around him. His physical build is lanky yet well toned when seen out of it's clothing, he has an athletic build in most eyes. His strength isn't overwhelming yet his speed can be. Using his speed and reach to make up for his lack of physical strength allows him to boost his hand to hand prowess.
His facial features are well defined, especially his jawline and piercing blue eye. His right eye which was blinded in the past due to an injury that it sustained has filmed over to a white appearance if even opened to view. There is an off-white line that runs vertically down the middle matching with the scar that is above and below his eyeball. The scar above his eye cuts into his eyebrow which in that spot no hair grows. As for his left eye, after all the years of training he has boosted it's capabilities and made up for the lack of vision from his right. One memorable thing upon his face other than the one eye is his ever apparent grin. He refuses to allow his opponents to know he doesn't feel confident in what he's doing. So he is almost always smiling or has that arrogant grin upon his face. A wise shinobi once taught him that the smile can be one of the most deadly weapons in a warriors arsenal.
His mission attire is a simple yet complex outfit. Starting out with a form fitting pair of black pants and matching form fitting black long sleeve shirt. The compression styled clothing allows for him to have less drag while fighting and keep him warm and dry in most conditions, while also cool if the heat becomes overbearing. Over that he wears black boots that go half way up his shins, along with black gloves that reach up his forearms. As one of the final layers he wears a dark blue trench coat of sorts, yet it has no sleeves and is jagged at the bottom. This jacket was specially tailored for Kurogane, he wears it unbuttoned except for at the waist where he ties a white belt around his waist to hold his many sheathes. As for the rest of his warrior gear he keeps three swords sheathed on each hip, holding a total of six on his person at all times. Along with that he keeps his pouch located upon his belt, just above his right butt-cheek. Allowing him easy access to it with his dominant hand. Upon his forehead he wears proudly the Kumogakure Headband, always shined and well maintained, it is tied around his head with black cloth hidden beneath his dark locks of hair. Over his right eye he wears a black eye patch, switching between the two styles that he has, both are black though one has the Cloud Village Insignia carved into it.
One of his more casual outfits would be a simple traditional Japanese look. Wearing a loose flowing white long sleeved shirt that is worn slightly open around the neck and tucked into loose flowing blue pants with a white belt holding it all up. Upon his feet he will often wear the traditional Japanese wooden sandals. In this outfit he doesn't always wear his shinobi gear including that of his pouch and headband, though will always have at least one sword upon his person if not all six. His eye patch in this outfit is often the one without the Cloud Village Insignia.
His ANBU Falcon attire is that of the standard appearance. He wears a form fitting black sleeveless shirt beneath a grey chest protector. The neck of the shirt is high and can be pulled up over the mouth and nose allowing him to mask his breathing. Upon his legs matching form fitting black pants and grey shin guards. Black boots upon his feet, made of soft material allowing him to move silently. On his arms he wears the same material as his shirt but it only goes from his wrists to his elbows, over that he wears grey forearm guards. This leaves his biceps to open view, showing on his left bicep the tribal tattoo of the ANBU marking. Over his face he wears a white porcelain falcon mask with blue swirls on it. Beneath the mask he wears his eye patch still yet this one bears no Cloud Village symbol. Around his waist is a matching grey belt that he keeps his sheaths attached to and his butt-bag in the same place as his usual mission attire.

The Story
Scene I
It all started out a little over twenty-two years ago for me, brought into this world by my parents, hoping for an heir to carry on the Sarutobi name. From what I was told, many attempts were made but all resorted in failure. To have me survive the process of birth and creation was a gift from the Heavens to them, along with the fact that I was a male, meaning through life I would carry out the name. Some families, heck most families no longer worry over such things in these times. Though my family was different, one of the few remaining Samurai houses left in the Shinobi world. At first I didn't understand it fully, though as I grew up it became crystal clear.
My younger years were quite tedious, simple tasks repeated over long periods of time. Burning the routine into my brain it seemed, working on chores, helping around the house and doing my studies. I would spend a small amount of time every day watching my father practice his swordsmanship in the courtyard. Though only a few times was I caught watching, each of those times meant discipline. Nothing severe, just more chores and a good stern talking to. I was told that when I was old enough I would learn how to wield a sword, but until then it was none of my concern. Though I learned from these words, I would just work harder on preventing being caught while I watched.

Scene II
As the time went I would begin learning how to use a sword, along with the discipline of being able to wield such an honorable item. Fascinated by the history of my family along with what it meant to be a Samurai, I placed almost all my attention to the history that I was being taught. Throughout all of my time as a child, I think these teachings were what I actually focused on the most. During this time I was also enrolled within the Shinobi Academy of Kumogakure no Sato. My family felt that due to these times, it was best to cross train me in the field of Shinobi, allowing me to find work easier and to elongate my lifespan in the career line that I'm destined for. It confused me for sometime and made it difficult for me to interact with those in the academy, I wasn't skilled within the use of chakra like most of them were. Though my father would instruct me to stay after class and practice more with the teacher, attempt to learn as much as I could, just as I had been doing with my Bushido training. I did as I was told and eventually I would get the hang of the whole thing. Though I wasn't perfect at it, I would be able to graduate on time from the academy.
It was roughly around graduation time when I found myself in my first confrontation with another person. One kid in my class had decided to belittle my heritage and family name in front of everyone. Claiming that the way of Bushido is dead, along with all the worthwhile warriors whom practiced it. Those whom call themselves samurai now a day are nothing more than cheap knock offs who can't be ninja. Enraged, I would keep myself quiet in class, but wait till it was over to confront the boy. Upon reaching the end of school grounds I would turn around to see him and his friends coming out. I would call him out, rushing forward we'd exchange uncoordinated blows of adolescence. Soon enough I would knock the boy down hard enough that he didn't get back up. What I hadn't planned for was his friends avenging his loss. Taking quite the beating from three other males, I'd be forced to return home with quite the marks of battle. My father and mother were both enraged by my actions, I was to take full blame for the dispute that I had gotten myself in.
My parents didn't care that he had belittled my entire way of life, it was humility that they demanded. So the next day I would approach the boy and his friends in front of the class, just minutes before it began. I would stand straight, then bow before them and apologize for my brash actions, standing up straight once more. They would just laugh at me and brush off my statement. I would return to my seat and mumble within the back of my mind of how I wanted to kick their butts once again. Just after class started a female classmate of mine whom I had always had a slight crush on leaned over to me. She whispered how those guys were jerks and it was really impressive that I was willing to apologize for being foolish. I blushed surely enough, yet all i could do was say 'thanks' in an awkward way. I had no courage to talk to her, and the day would go on. Soon enough I'd graduate from the academy and begin my days as a Genin.

Scene IV
It had been almost a year since I'd become a Genin, my three man cell consisted of a Hyuuga male by the name of Eiji and the blonde girl whom I had the crush on, Yoko. Our Jounin was an odd man whom wore all metal, it was fused with his body in some strange ritual. He always told us it's the pride and joy of Kumogakure no Sato. The first year of our Genin activity was rather boring, the usual D and E ranked missions. Walking dogs, chasing cats, carrying supplies and helping out around the academy. It was almost not worth becoming a Ninja in my mind, yet my father urged patience and things will prosper. So I stuck it out, boring mission after boring mission. Sure enough something did happen, on a simple mission such as guarding a prisoner locked in a Cell in the capital of Kaminari. We were ambushed by an elite team of mercenaries hired by the captive's gang. They would free the man and take Yoko as a hostage to aid in their escape. My hot headed teammate Eiji took off after them, as my Jounin and I tried to plan out a better way to go about this. As we began to follow the trail a large explosion would go off only a few hundred meters in front of us. Rushing towards it, we'd find my teammate Eiji pinned to a tree trunk by a katana, life slowly slipping away from his body.
It was then that the mercenaries came out of hiding, the ambush attempt this time would fail. My rage had began to set in as I took my position between the Eiji and the attackers. I demanded a duel, one on one, if I won they freed Yoko, if they won; well it's obvious they do as they please with her. My jounin tried to intervene, but I refused, I told him to tend to Eiji's wounds and try to save his life. I wasn't skilled in medical techniques, so I had to make myself useful in the situation. The foolish leader of the mercenaries agreed to a duel of blades as he took out his own katana to challenge me. Drawing out my blade, at the young age I had already mastered Kenjutsu and begun work in Santoryu, so far I was capable of wielding two blades at a time. I'd only carry one though, as our blades clashed I seemed to be quicker, yet he had more physical strength behind each blow. As we continued the high speed and powerful clash of steel, I would see an opening, calling out to Eiji. Though it was meant for my Jounin leader, and he understood what I wanted. As I bounced my blade off the opponent's, I'd roll around him freeing up my off hand. Just as I did, I'd grasp the handle of the katana that had pinned Eiji to the tree, it was pulled loose and thrown to me by my Jounin.
The second blade in hand would come slashing threw the mercenary's back. He'd stumble away and turn around claiming that wasn't part of the agreement. I responded with I said a duel of swords, I was capable of wielding two without any issue. Now with two swords, I couldn't strike hard, but the speed and precision was all that I needed. Quickly cutting down the man in front of his crew, though he refused to submit to my abilities. He'd demand the execution of the girl, just as I heard those words I'd slash through the man's face with one blade, throwing the second hard into the mercenary whom held Yoko. In the end, both of my teammates lived and I would go on to be praised for my swordsmanship. Though my Jounin was still upset with the decision, he knew there wasn't many other options available at the time. That and one of the only true ways to grow as a warrior is to push yourself past former limits.[/ul]

Scene V
Scene V
A few months after that major incident within my Genin Career, I'd come across a young fox pup whom had been captured by poachers. With the assistance of my Jounin I'd obtain the pup and swear to raise him to be a great friend and companion. The name I'd give my new friend was Kurama, it felt fitting at the time. Through the following months I'd earn Kurama's trust and begin to train along side with him. In no time we'd become quite the duo as we walked the streets of Kumogakure no Sato. During all that training I would master the ability to speak to Kurama, not like how some people speak to their pets. I could actually translate my words into yips and barks so that he understood what I was saying. Word for word, it was unbelievable. I had read about it, but never believed it to be possible until I pulled it off. Kurama was more than a friend, he was a part of my being, I would give my life to make sure he was alive and I'm sure he'd be more than willing to do the same.

Scene VI
Scene VI
In every Genin's life a time comes when they must participate in the Chuunin Exams, a chance to advance in rank and show their ability as a Shinobi. My team earned their right to participate finally, after all those years of mindless tasks, it was time to show our worth to the Village. The years had been peaceful between the Villages, something I was thankful for, though when I reached the Exams, the hostility between the Villages was something I could have never predicted. We were the only team sent by Cloud and clearly outnumbered. Though my Jounin had informed us that our Village was strongly allied to those of Sound, whom also sent a single team. My goal was to work side by side with them while we tried to stay alive. The first test was a simple test to put mind over matter, to be patient and not jump head first into conflict. We had no issues getting by that test, though the next one damn near took our lives. A survival test, three teams were sent to an island, there was an objective to retrieve for each team, and an item to protect. The only way to succeed was to have the objective and your original item with you at the end of one week.
We were pit against our allies from Sound and a ruthless team from Sand. I realized our alliance was no longer in play, though we could assist Sound if we wanted, eventually they would be a challenge. Only one team could advance from each island and I wasn't about to let my team down here. The first few days involved simple clashes and testing of each teams ability, but it wasn't until the third night that blood was truly spilled. Our base was within the ruins of an ancient temple, our item to guard was a small statuette, our objective was a necklace. Sand had the necklace we wanted and Sound wanted the Statuette we were ordered to protect. I would sit peacefully on guard in front of the statuette, Kurama hidden within the shadows by my resting teammates. The three Sound Genin would seem to appear out of thin air. They had brought the scroll that the Sand Ninja needed with them, most likely rigging their base with traps. As I drew a single blade I would yip lightly to inform my friend that company had arrived. Upon him waking my team I instructed them to fetch the necklace that Sand had, it most likely would be near the Sound base. A grand explosion would quickly echo through the night, a laugh came from our former allies. My team would split off, Kurama would go with Yoko to the Sound Base while Eiji went to the Sand base. That left me to fight off the three Genin of Sound to protect the statuette.
We had formed this plan long before this evening had arrived, I chose myself to stay behind because I was quicker and able to fend off three on one for a decent amount of time. Should I fail, I had guaranteed to at least slay one of the opponents. The battle would begin and I was quickly put to a test of speed, forcing me to draw a second blade to fend off the enemies. Finally my blade would taste the blood of the Sound leader, her throat was too soft. As she grasped her throat to save her own life, another teammate would rush in at me and knock me back through a wall. As I appeared out of the smoke and dust, I had drawn all six blades. A twisted grin upon my face, I'd launch into combat slaying my first Sound opponent. Though just after I had severed his head from his neck my mind would be trapped within an illusion. As I knew that I was trapped I would accept that death would be inevitable at this point. I knew nothing of how to defeat a shinobi like this. Within the illusion the girl whom entrapped me would take one of my own blades as I was paralyzed in a standing position. She'd then cut me down, repeating the process over and over again, my mind would be overwhelmed with pain. What I didn't know was she had actually drawn her own blade and cut me down from behind, diagonally across my back. Just after she had done this, she'd realize both of her teammates were dead, even though I had only killed one. Eiji would appear from the darkness and take her life with her own sword. I'd awake days later in a hospital, surviving the Chuunins and earning a promotion..

Act II
Scene I
It had been almost a year since those cursed exams and I was back on my feet and more than just a Chuunin at this point. I had been recruited into the ranks of ANBU. My training with Kurama had made me an expert tracker and hunter, my skills in speed and offensive combat allowed me to be an excellent candidate for the Falcon Division. It was a whole new lifestyle for me, though I wasn't a full fledged Shinobi, every time I put on that uniform I felt more like one. It was a strange feeling of euphoria. I hadn't seen much of my team since the Exams, but I had heard they were doing well. As a Chuunin, I had become close friends to two unique Shinobi, one went by the name of Mokona Suzuhara and the other was Shinji Hatake. I had met Mokona shortly before I had become a member of ANBU, he was the one whom recruited me. Shinji was a close friend of Mokona's and I trusted them both. Through the years a Chuunin I was asked to do some things that I'm not proud of. Yet such is the life of a Shinobi, a soldier must do what they are told after all.
As a member of the Falcon Division I was ordered to take the life of missing Shinobi of Cloud and our allies such as Sound and Leaf. Young lives shattered by poor choices, all ended up at the tip of my blades. My life wasn't an easy path to walk, the secrets that cased my life were thick with deciet. Though there was only one action I ever truly regretted doing. Uchiha Faust, a shinobi of few words worked along side another Uchiha who's name I can't recall at the moment. I was sent to hunt them down and try to return them to the Village with an elite squad of ANBU. After locating Faust a battle ensued and my team was slaughtered, only I was spared in this incident. Only due to my relation with Faust, he was in my class in the Academy, he remembered my struggles as a Samurai. Respect shown, he spared my life, despite his partner pleading to take it. Because of his show of respect, I had no choice but to lower my own blade, allowing them to disappear. Though to make it seem like I didn't purposely allow him to leave, he would slash down through my right eye. I hated him for choosing my eye, but of course the Uchiha with their Sharingan would cut down the eye of a normal bloodline.
With that those two Uchiha hadn't been seen since, with no trail, the high ranking mission continues to sit upon the shelves of Kumogakure's tower. To think, I was instances away from being a legend, but I knew far too well I couldn't have killed them both, so I accept this fate. Though I look down upon myself for it every day. With the loss of vision within my right eye it would force me to take time off, practicing all my skills over again, trying to make my body grow used to the lack of depth perception. It would take years to master, yet I wouldn't give up until it was achieved, within the time I had hoped; I had succeeded. Returning to active duty, not much more would happen for me, except the order of a whole new type of mission.
Act II
Scene II
Scene II
Soon enough I'd be sent on a Solo mission to end a war that had been started between two smaller countries. It was a strange mission in my opinion, though the payout was far greater than I could have ever hoped for. When I finally reached the main battlefield of the war, the Generals were meeting, agreeing to rules of war. I'd stroll right through the front lines of one army and walk my way up to the tent where the two leaders were meeting. Kurama at my side and the six swords on my belt. I wore the headband and eyepatch with pride, along with my Sarutobi Clan emblem upon my back. During this time Kana Machiko was the Raikage in charge, she was a young girl whom had also done quite well for herself. For her to send me here was something I could trust. I would bust into their negotiations like some kind of loose cannon freelancer, no care in the world. Blades were quickly drawn and pointed at one another along with myself, yet I did no such actions. I would laugh and try to talk them down, eventually I succeeded in these actions. Though through discussion of how to resolve this petty dispute, I couldn't end the war. Though I was able to convince them to save lives, choosing only a few warriors to meet in one on one combat, resolve this conflict with little casualties. They were to meet in one week on neutral grounds within an arena.
Once that was underway I met with the leaders of the nation to find out what brought this conflict upon the nations. One nation claimed the other stole the leader's sixteen year old daughter, the other claimed that their sixteen year old son as kidnapped. I would spend the next week searching for signs of either of these teenagers within the two countries but had no luck, so I would quickly go to the neighboring neutral country where I would have a lot more luck. The couple had run away, star crossed lovers destined to be forever forbidden to love one another. I pleaded with them to return home, they could save countless lives by admitting to what they had done. I'd return before them by a day and set up a meeting of the leaders and their armies. It was then that they would make their appearance, as they stood before their parents and the generals, they admitted to their love, as I stood before them and in front of the armies, I would see the quick glimmer. Arrows from both nations were sent towards the young couple. I'd draw my blades, yet I wasn't quick enough, two arrows would slip by my blades, taking the lives of both the teens.
The parents had ordered the death of their own children, I was enraged yet could say or do nothing. My mission was to prevent the war, yet all I did was silence the lives of two beautiful lovers. Returning home in success yet shame, the regret of the actions would force me to ask for some time to myself. A time to hone my skills and become a far greater Shinobi. Kana wasn't easy to convince to allow my leave, but after seeing the damage that my exam had done, she'd allow it. With that I'd gather my things and Kurama and I were off. It was time to see the world, leaving behind my headband and ANBU gear, I would return in a few months no doubt. Though what I didn't expect was what I would find, and the time it would cause me to let slip by...
