Leaving the Village Gates behind, Aaron, the other nin and the artist began their slow journey to the Fire Capital. It was still early morning but the sun already shone brightly overhead. It was going to be a long journey for the artist had rented a covered carriage. Loading all her art supplies and works of art including several paintings the carriage had no sitting room. For some reason she did not want a driver but rather would drive the carriage herself. The carriage would rock around as they went for there was no set path this close to the village.
Aaron was slightly curious as to what the paintings were of but the artist said that a ninja would not appreciate them. Aaron merely shrugged wondering what she was hiding but it was not his place to know. He was merely an escort. Aaron stood to one side of the carriage glad to be out of the village. He wondered how the other nin was doing as they made their way through the Land of Earth. It dawned on him that he never learned the other nin's name or knew anything about him. Ignoring the artist content steering the carriage Aaron asked, "What's your name?" to the nin. He knew nothing about him and was curious as to what he could learn. In the village Aaron knew hardly any other nin outside of a couple Kamizuru. He preferred his solitude.
The carriage plotted along as the two nin followed. Aaron wondered if the other nin would respond. He probably should be paying more attention but they were still in Earth Country, far safer than the fire country they were headed to.
