_{So it would seem that the chaos was slowly dying away, yet she couldn't help but think this life wasn't for her. She had a great experience as Kage, but with what happened in the village, she couldn't bring herself to quit thinking about it. She let out a quiet sigh and looked around for anyone she would know, of course..she should know them all she was kage after all. Looking down to Sevin, who had been carrying his bo staff, she gave a small smile. For some odd reason, that day she carried all her weaponry, her large tessen, her bo staff, her b-ranked weapon scroll, an butt bag that had ten kunai and fifty-seven senbon and upon her, her cloak. Within her cloak she carried a world map, two c-rank weapon scrolls and one d-rank weapon scroll. Both c-rank scrolls and her d-ranked scroll had been empty. Within her hand she carred a pouch full of her ryo, twenty-three thousand, one hundred fifty to be exact.

Taking hesitant steps, she spotted a genin she hadn't been able to get to talk to before, yet she knew his name. Silly genin had left the village without permission once, but she let it slide. "Hoshiro" She called out with a small smile upon her face.}

The genin's head perked slightly at the mention of his name. He'd been standing outside just thinking to himself. It hadn't been so long ago that he'd returned from Mo. It was only now that he fully realized how lucky he was. The assistant had been thorough in berating the fresh genin. Well, not so fresh anymore. It had been several months since he'd graduated from the Academy. Even so, he felt like he was already one of the senior ninja in the village that new genin would be looking up to. It was a pressure he'd expected, but not so early on his path.

His brown eyes shifted over to a woman he was vaguely familiar with. He'd never had the time to talk with her, but the whole village had known her name and respected her for the Otokage she had become in the village's time of need. It was a little intimidating to know that she was just a little older than him and already she had done something as amazing as become a Kage. Hoshiro gave a small smile and nodded in her direction before slowly strolling over to her.

"Ongaku-sama," He spoke a 'hello' with her name, "heh, sorry for taking off from the village before. Following protocol has never been one of my strong points. I'll be better next time." He spoke casually, but with a respect for who she was. It took something else to be able to step up and lead, something he recognized in the woman before him.

_{She couldn't help but let out a soft laugh as he had apologized for leaving the village without permission. She was just glad he came back before she had given the title away. "Its fine, just be sure to follow rules, I cant be nice like that anymore because you've got a new Otokage." She smiled. Sevin and jumped on her, crawling up to take his place upon her shoulder, "Ah, Hoshiro, this is Sevin." She introduced, although Sevin sat there looking rather proud. Despite the small talk, she didn't forget what she truly had in mind, "I'm.. planning on retiring, I dont think this lifestyle is for me." She admitted with a slightly shaky voice.}

Hoshiro felt his face fall a little as she admitted her retirement plan. He didn't have any say in what she should do, but he could understand where she was coming from. "No matter what you choose to do with the rest of your life, I'm sure you'll be great at it." He crossed his arms. "After inspiring a village and leading them, I'd say you're ready to take on the world." He gave a short laugh. Putting it that way, she had already accomplished so much as Otokage. How could anyone expect her to do anything more? "If this is what you choose, no one can stop you... and no one will think any less of you for it."

_{A nervous laughter passed her lips, glancing to Sevin and then turned back to Hoshiro, "Sevin, isn't ready to retire yet, he is still a cute little lemur after all. I would like it if you were to take care of him for me. Also, I have no need for these things anymore." She stated. Sevin jumped off her shoulder and she began to remove any items she had, including her cloak. She took every item she had and handed them over to hoshiro, looking to her money pouch she smiled, "This should help you as well, Hoshiro." She spoke as she handed the money over to him. "Sevin, you be good to him." Was all she said before turning and walking away. A few steps and she had stopped, "I'd like to see you as Otokage one day." She wandered far far away from the two and somehow, she fell down a very deep hole and died.

It was almost a solemn ceremonious occasion that passed between the two shinobi. As Atreya handed him her equipment, Hoshiro couldn't help but think of it as though she were passing to him the responsibilities she had carried with her all this time. No words could fit into this moment as he would have wished. All he could do was nod silently. He knew he hadn't really known her that well, but he couldn't help but feel as though someone important to him passed out of his life and he would never see that person again. Shinobi had short life expectancies, it was true... perhaps 'never again' would come faster than he may have liked. The thought lingered on him for a moment as a chill.

"I'd like to see you as Otokage one day."

The words were strange to him. He'd never really thought of himself as Otokage material before, but here was someone who talked as though she had known him for a long time. It was... comforting to know there was someone rooting for him.

"Me too." He gave a short laugh. "Don't be a stranger!"

Little did he know she'd fallen down a deep well and died. Years later, he'd feel a cold chill pass by him as he wondered what had happened to the kunoichi.
