A Twist of Megomaniacal Machine

Tsubaki looked up at the person who blocked her sun. She had dark hair and eyes. Not a bad looking girl. Tsubaki sat up, saying "Hola," a a typically bright smile on her face. As she was about to introduce herself, a particular sensation spread through her body. But before she could do anything about it, a fragment of stone and iron about the size of a golfball, both super heated by the atmosphere and accelerated by gravity, split the sky.

The oblong shape flew through Tsubaki's head and into Ichigo's stomach. The Shockwave of the object's speed decimated the girl's head and did the same to the monkey's body. A fountain of blood spurted from the little girl's stump of a head for a second or so. But soon the flow ceased, and the remains fell over, no longer living.

Such a brief life, and such a brief end.































Elsewhere, two cloaked men watched the carnage with unexpectedly knowing eyes. "You...seriously killed her with a meteorite?" The first man asked the second, who simply nodded, smiling slightly under the folds of his hood. The first man sighed, "too bad she lost momentum. Oh well, the next subject uses mostly ninjutsu. He's a bit of a loon, but he's interesting to say the least. Come on, let's get going." The two men vanished, off to their next assignment.

Riza blinked. It wasn't every day you saw a piece of meteorite decapitate someone. A pity it had to be this person. She would have made such a fascinating test subject.

She knelt down, claiming all the items and equipment that providence had left for her, but also noticing that there was not a single ryo to be seen. That would not do.

She would tuck into one of the corpse's pockets the sum of five hundred ryo - a bribe for the Ferryman, to provide passage to the afterlife. And, as an afterthought, she would paint a panther of ink, and drape the body across it. One more oddity for the medics to study. She was bringing in quite a bit of data of late. How nice.
