With his messenger bag slung over his shoulder, and a bottle of water in his right hand, Ryuuchou made his way through the Village on his day off. He had decided to train alone that day, aiming to hone his Genjutsu skills and practice several that he thought would be good to know should he find himself in a spot of trouble. Being a medical ninja he was all but defenseless against attack, as he knew only basic healing techniques. None of the offensive stuff that he had read about countless times. That was where his Genjutsu came in. He used it to assist him in keeping hidden and allow him to more easily avoid attacks should he be spotted. It was better that way anyway. He wasn't the type of person to go up close and fight. He preferred to keep himself at a distance, and his main focus when training was to learn techniques that would allow him to do that.
He had decided to make his way to a small clearing that he had found was perfect for practicing his Genjutsu, as people that walked by would be able to witness him, and their reactions would help him gauge how well he was doing in his training with whatever technique he was learning. When he finally got there he smiled to himself, seeing that there were several people hanging around the field, and walking by it as well. He moved towards the middle area and set his bag down, taking a sip from his water before placing it down too. He sat cross legged in the field, and opened his bag up, taking out a scroll that contained knowledge on several lower ranked Genjutsu techniques, and unraveled it, beginning to read it slowly. "Teigen Fusenmei, the Motion Blur." He said to himself, reading over the details of the technique several times so that he could get down the gist of it. "This sounds like a good place to start off." He said to himself quietly.
Standing up slowly, he stretched his arms into the air and let out a small yawn. He turned his head from left to right several times, stretching, and at the same time, looking at the people that stood around the field. Every now and then he would catch some of what they would say. "Look, he must be a ninja." "Is he training? I wonder what he's gonna do." "He's probably working on some cool technique." All of this was said by men, women and children. Of course, the women and children were more interested in what he was doing than the men were by far. That didn't bother him though. He was used to doing things under pressure, and he was also good at making like the pressure wasn't gone. Assisting in dozens of medical procedures brought that about.
Slowly performing the Hand Seals for the technique, he imagined himself alone, knowing that he would need absolute concentration to get this technique correct. Soon enough, everything seemed to melt away from him, leaving him in a totally white, soundless environment, and he continued to perform the Hand Seals without focusing his chakra, aiming to get them down before even attempting to cast the jutsu. Thanks to the blank environment he had placed himself in, focusing and memorizing the Hand Seals was quite easy, and after about fifteen times of weaving the set of Hand Seals, he felt comfortable with them, and had decided that he had memorized them finally, as each time making them he had been able to speed up the process bit by bit. Sitting down onto the ground again, everything in his surroundings came rushing back, and he picked the scroll up once again. He began reading again about the chakra control, and what would be needed to perform the technique correctly.
