Willing to wipe the tears of anyone, Nana has proven to have a mother-esque touch. She is always willing to find out what's going on in another's life, especially if they look distressed. An unbelievably good listener, Nana is open to any subject and never criticizes, although never taking a side is hard if she cares for an individual. Upon request, she'll offer respectful yet honest advice. She is understanding and enthusiastic about helping others, which is a huge plus towards her medic-ness. She tries not to say things that, though true, could inflict sorrow. Without being told explicitly, Nana can eventually figure out what's actually bringing you down. She also doesn't quickly assume someone's sad story is a cry for attention.

A tad more passionate about emotions and peoples' well-being than normal, Nana is one to wear her heart on her sleeve. She's not shy about the way she feels and can often come off as slightly explosive. She knows what she wants and, eventually, a counterpart will, too. However, sometimes she manages to act before she thinks because of this, thus sometimes saying something she would normally wish to take back.

Nana would rather spend time with friends than spend time alone, and she'd far rather be doing something with individuals than completing tasks by herself. Content in a crowded room or social event, Nana is quite the social butterfly. When she's with people who are prone to few words, she tries to act just as aloof to strike some sort of conversation, but her giddy-esque outlook doesn't follow through.

With a genuine interest in the lives of others, Nana is a natural optimist and a kindly sprite. She constantly tries to think of ways to increase the happiness of those surrounding her, taking slight pride in the fact that majority of her past friends have turned to her in time of need for aid. Nana would much rather put hard work into charitable work and helping others.

Being in touch with her own feelings, Nana is able to put herself in another person's shoes. She doesn't find happiness in another's misery, often declaring she wants to live by everyone else's happiness if ever possible.

Always enjoying the company of others being around her, Nana has a live and let live attitude, in short. She rarely becomes irritated and can tolerate the most bullshit-ridden of people, rubbing people the wrong way never interests her. She generally takes people as they come, accepts situations as they are and keeps herself collect under pressure. She rarely confronts a person about annoyances.

Nana is careful when tending to people, both in physicality and mentality. She is careful not to upset another, trying to go out of her way to say something in the nicest way possible (when she actually stops and thinks before she speaks.) She's hardly tough-minded or gruff. To say the least, her usefulness in hardcore combat is lacking.[/ul]

Nana's face often conveys a peppy, happy expression. Her thin, dark eyebrows are visible against her ruddy face. Overall, mind you, she has a pinkish hue to her skin. Her big, innocent, observant eyes are a blueish-green mixture, at certain times they appear more green while other times they appear more blue, usually dependent on what she's wearing and her surroundings (just like a pair of gray eyes that absorb the colours around them). Her pupils always seem to be dilated. She has an adorable, hardly mature, profile what with full red lips, a button nose, and noticeable eyelashes. Her teeth are straight and her tongue is a bit rough.
Along the chub's exterior, muscles can hardly be found. Her chunky figure evens out, half the weight that can be found in her plump belly can also be found in her chest, more or less. Her heavy chest could easily fill a C-cup. Although she's a bit heavy, she's still fairly agile. Nana's 5 senses are all average, except for her sense of smell. She has a knack for sniffing out descrete ingredients, often able to smell perspiration on an opponent. This is a far less impressive feat than what most people can accomplish, however.
Over her entire body, Nana is altogether...plump. Her cheeks carry some baby weight, but you can still make out the shape of her visage. Her arms are plump with muscle and added weight, her child-bearing hips and large behind drag attraction, the same continuing right down to her thick thighs.
Her clothing is rather comfortable, all-in-all. Mounting itself on her head childishly, Nana's hitai-ate licks the sky with a gleam. The cloth of her headband is custom, a darkish red-pink colour, tying at the back of her neck. This proves to be useful when she needs to lean over (if she bends over a patient, her hair won't be as in the way as usual). An undershirt of leathery spandex-like material hugs her chubby curves. It would normally be a tube top, but that risks her chest popping out. A fistnet, thick strapping had been added to the collar. This is bubblegum pink in colour.
A tad darker in gray-colour than her boots are, Nana wears a pair of tight caprees. They are made of a comfortable jean-like material, yet are a bit tougher than said cloth. They rub against her skin in a nor uncomfortable manner, the seams a bit bulky, matching the side pockets. The rims of this article stop at her knee, met by a pair of gray rain-boots that latch on eiter side. Rubbery, they easily cast away water and muk, and don't cause and friction with her knees. For safety reasons, they're one size too small, so they'll stay against her legs while she's doing ninja-like activites. However, the front part of the boot is a bit thicker to the touch, being a slightly protective play. The accent of these boots is a metalic gray.
Last but not least, Nana's beloved sweatshirt. It's a size big, having recieving it from her mother. The material is soft, majority of it being that of cotton and easy to move in. It falls loosely from her arms, but fits snug on her hips and chest, barely catching wind in the center of it all. It's barely a turtle neck, the collar bouncing. In colour, the base of the sweatshirt is a lightish pink that nearly matches her undershirt. The hems of it are a bit darker, a pattern of sorts being verticle lines a few inches apart from each other, a grayer-version of the already-dark pink hems. It's safe to say Nana's favorite colour is pink.

history:
Born to a fairly average family, Nana's life (in the early ages) was seemingly normal. Her mother, although a bit strict, was loving and supportive, caught between mother and friend. Her father, hardworking and loving, was altogether harmless. Being the middle-born child, Nana was often left out from sibling games, never the one to be picked first. She was teased by her siblings relentlessly, but it never really disrupted the girl.
Her childhood seemed merely uneventful. The unlikely part of her younger days, however, is the fact that she was completely aloof and careless. The looks and stares of disgust she got on the streets for kicking a dog would only bring a wide smile to her face. She constantly found herself in feuds with her siblings, always telling her parents they were stupid and that she hated them. Relentlessly, she told them all she wished they'd cease to exist. At one point, Nana received a gift from her mother. A sweatshirt, a pink sweatshirt. It was many sizes to big, fit for a heavy woman, to which her mother explained, "You'll be able to wear it your entire life." Nana laughed coldly and tossed it aside, it never made an appearance for the longest of times.
When it became relevant that his daughter was undeserving of a family, Nana's father approached her after a particular night in which she had managed to make her younger brother cry after bashing his head in with a shoe. He picked her up and whispered into her ear a jumble of heartless words that made Nana's skin crawl, however the statement he'd whispered is completely forgotten now.
After that, her father became scarce. It was rumored through the family he had taken up drinking, and had become a drunkard. He was belligerent at times, so this theory is completely notable. Nana also became more pleasant to be around, but her underlying hatred for her siblings remained. She took a fondness to her mother, however, at around 14. She dug out the gift and wore it more often, much to the delight of her mother.
Periodically, Nana was an average teenager. This is where things started tumbling down. Her drunkard or psychotic or whatever father was standing in the kitchen. Nana came to him and complained heavily about her younger brother, who came tumbling in after her, being at around the age of 10 or so, she 16ish. She began cussing and telling him she wanted him dead, but it was a complete spur of the moment, angry words that anybody would say in the midst of a fight. Her father began to repeat to her that it wasn't true, but after frantic "yes it is"'s, he called the sibling over. Unknowing, her brother came forth, and a knife would be driven down his throat. To the horror of Nana, her father smiled. "Better?"
Upon finding out what happened, Nana's mother kicked out the father. The morning after he was officially out of the house, Nana would awake and be greeted by a dead family. The smell alone made her eyes water. It was certainly...eye opening.
Nana tried to move on by enrolling herself into the ninja academy. After passing, her life was supremely boring for a while. She made a friend, however, whose name is also forgotten. Nana's life began to revolve around the girl, roughly three years older. In due time, Nana was aware of the fact that she was, essentially, in love with this girl.
Around the age of 18, Nana confronted her. Not sure if she should be elated or disgusted, her friend accepted the feelings with open arms. They grew into a relationship and slowly, ever so slowly, Nana grew into her, moving in with her and even losing her innocence to her. But karma caught her by the wrist and took her lover away. What happened to the girl is uncertain, but all that's known is that her bloodied, disfigured remains were found in a dumpster.
This was traumatic, if anything it was a monstrosity. But instead of falling into an "Why should I be fair to a world that has been unfair to me" attitude, Nana's mind formed something far different. She forgot everything, except for the faces, and has since lived in her lover's old house. When asked about her past, Nana doesn't know how to respond. [/ul]
