Falorein awoke, the hoard of bugs had dispersed and he found himself in the ground. He chuckled to himself; he began to summon fourth his chakra. It seemed that it had fully regenerated, he was rather hungry too. He pushed upwards, slipping out of the ground; he came to realise it was night now. How long had he slept? With a shrug, he stabilized himself and walked calmly over the tree and opened his trunk he left here for storage. Retracting some long life staples the youth sat cross legged. He smiled as he hungrily took the first bite, deciding that he would not be dining alone he stood up and summoned a small amount of chakra and whacked the tree causing some of the sap to ooze down the trunk He scooped as much as he could and flicked it on the ground as he sat with a thud, then he place his hand like a bridge and began to shake a bit and alert some of his comrades to the meal which was messily applied to the ground. A few seconds, roaches ants and some of his aburame left the safety of his cloak and began to chow down. Seeing the ants the youth realised that he hadn’t really worked much with these guys, maybe he should. Finishing his meal, the genin stood and walked over to the Ant nests, he had installed manually of course.

Using his chakra, he gathered as many as he could and walked to the centre of the clearing. With ants now infesting his being, joining the various other insects that called his body home. Slamming his hands together, the youth would summon a fury of chakra into his knuckles, pushing fourth a vast amount with ease. He loved using chakra after an extended rest, it was a lot easier and felt almost euphoric. Once gathered in his knuckles, Falorein would coat his hand in chakra and then with a single thrusting motion he would slam his fist into the ground pushing it as deep as he could, letting the chakra destroy the soil of this sacred place. He continued to push down, willing to go deeper trying to from a sizeable hole at the same time. After a few moments the youth hit a reasonable spot in the ground and began to close his eyes and open his mind. He began to search, hunting down the ants that inhabited his body at the present time.

Finding where they resided, he began to delve into their inner thoughts accessing their mind. Once inside their cognitive process, he would begin to send images and coax them into proceeding to his hands, again and again he sent urge after urge mixing emotions and desires. Moments passed of this before the ants began to make their way down to his palms, within minutes they leaked out of his sleeves and began to squirm and struggle into the various spaces in the ground. Once the managed to get underground, Falorein tricked them until they reached the bottom touching his knuckles. Withdrawing his hand slowly, as his hand broke free of the ground debris fell from his hand in soft thuds hitting the ground. His eyes now focusing on the hole, Falorein summoned a simple thread of chakra in front of his face. Using his hands, the youths broke it and tore it to small threads, before individually extending each thread and like a lasso he hooked the threads down th hole and onto a couple of the ants and took control of their thought processes.

There wasn’t really any resistance, they submitted fairly easy, the genin attributed this to the fact, and he was feeling alert and had strength himself. Now in control, he pushed the ants to begin gnawing and crafting a nest, the initial hole would act as the main hall if you could call it that. From there the youth made the several ants under his control craft tunnels, they began in unison together, his ants would use their strength to drag tiny dirt clumps into the main hole while others would crunch at the wall. The ants were effect builder, not to mention their hive mentality. Once his ants began this process the other followed, as if left out or maybe in fear of what their queen would do if they didn’t obey. It was if they were compelled to follow, which is what Falorein hoped to accomplish. He continued to will on the various ants under his control, expanding the tunnel bit by bit. It was a long process, sweat started to gather on the youth’s forehead. Yet he was used to meticulous processes and the fatigue that came from them, so he was able to ignore it with ease.

He continued at this for some time, building an extravagant nest. Satisfied with the job; once completed. The youth would attempt one last thing; he spread his chakra down the whole, trying to leave an imprint in the ant’s memories. Hopefully making this memory become a part of the ants natural instinct when they were touched with his chakra, he took mental images of the building process and all the feelings he was able to absorb from the ants. Then he pushed them into the other ants mind, leaving them and keeping there with a minuet amount of chakra. Hoping they would now begin the process without so much effort medic prepared himself once more.

Falorein stood to his full height, his eyes now leveling to view the tree in front of him. He took a few lights breathes and decided to let the ants nest grow and expand a little more before attempting to perform any techniques with them. But that worked for him he had so many bug techniques to familiarise himself with and he needed to get stronger or he wouldn’t be able to defend himself or his allies.

He remembered briefly reading over the technique, the thing that made this technique different than most he trained especially in medicine; was that handseals were needed for this one. It had been so long since he had needed them; it was mostly about chakra control for him. Regardless he was just going to focus performing the handseals first then move on to trying to shape and strengthen the technique. Raising his hands the youth closed his eyes and recalled the combination needed to perform this jutsu; Dog Monkey, Rabbit, Tiger. He then repeated to himself again and again mentally forming the combinations using his mind’s eye to shape to shape order and creates an effective string. He had once been told if you can picture yourself performing something perfectly, every time you perform it you will improve and one day you will open your eyes and it will be flawless.

Once Falorein remembered the order of hand seals, he would need to practice each one, it really had been that long and to be honest with himself he was worried about correct technique. He would start with the Dog seal, he looked at his fingers and began contorting them to form the Dog seal; it looked slightly off. Pulling a book from the rummages of his cloak, it was small but useful. He looked at the picture for the Dog seal, he watched the picture and from a fist his right hand while flattening his left out then with a fluid motion he would slide his flat hand over the fist. Pushing it across until his hands fit the picture. Quickly he would relax his hands then once more form the fist and slide the two hands into position once more. Again and again he would make the Dog seal; trying to make his muscles remember all those hours of practice.


Monkey; his eyes watched the book trying to see the handsign, it was a pretty easy one but nonetheless he still had trouble. Flattening out both his hands, the youth would contort his fingers slightly, while bending his hand up not too much just enough for the sign. With both his hands in spate positions, corresponding with the diagram. Falorein would slide his hands toward each other at a level height letting them both interlock together forming a perfect Monkey seal. He smiled; his hands seemed to be getting these once more. But he decided he needed to practice them more regularly. This shouldn’t be happening right now. Content with his progress he moved on to the next sign; Rabbit. Raising his hands he but his middle, ring and pinkie down slightly while then pointing his index and thumb out straight almost making a finger gun in each hand. Once satisfied the ten would slide his hands together interlocking the two guns, a lot like monkey but diagonally.

Last but not east was the tiger seal; this was probably the easiest of the bunch. He quickly folded his hands and raised his index finger, intertwining both his hands and keeping the index fingers vertical. After a few moments of concentration, he succeeded in performing the hand sign; now to attempt all of them in succession. Dog… Monkey… Rabbit ..Tiger… he shouted to himself as the youth quickly formed th seals, one at a time creating a perfect combination of structure and speed. He grinned, it all came back to him, He needed to make sure he didn’t forget again. Not to put some chakra behind it.

Satisfied with his handseal practice, the youth stood to a level stance widen his legs and bracing himself for stage two. Unlike most other jutsu the youth never really planned out a process on learning techniques. But rather he just “felt what he needed to do and manipulated his training to the moment but the youth felt that he could gain more by having structure amongst things he decided to do. Freeing himself of his thoughts the youth focused back on the task at hand.

Holding his hands outwards, the youth summoned fourth his chakra, pushing it deep from within ever corner of his body. Drawing fourth a vast amount of energy; draining all the limbs in his body of unused or potentially useful chakra. He continued to push up, overloading ever chakra focal point, with this surging energy that fuelled all he did and was the lifeblood of the ninja world. He couldn’t help but feel powerful at this point in time, he could feel all the energy burrow through his body storing itself and energising key areas within himself. It was euphoric.

He grinned broadly as he began the second stage of his plan.
Taking hold of chakra points the youth pushed outwards, raising his hands, he began to let chakra flow out of his body into the position in front of him. The air changed, it became thicker and a bluish haze enveloped the space, he could see the chakra not only see but feel the radiant energy emanate. He then grabbed hold of it with his mind’s eye; it came to life and responded to his touch. It knew its master, he then began expanding it outwards, he wished to create a certain shape. He began to push out outwards expanding and flattening the shape, he would continue to pour chakra into the shape wishing for it to grow longer and wider; 10 feet by 10 feet to be more exact. With a strain of difficulty, Falorein continued to craft weaving push and expanding. It was a rather slow process but still he was dedicated and that was the important thing. After a few moments of doing this, he was presented with a flat 10x10 foot wall. This was okay if the wall was useable in a battle; not to mention the technique he was trying to learn.

Now he needed to make it hollow so he could proceed with stage three, delving forward with his mind’s eye, he remembered those wise words and pictures the perfect shape. This shape would help him create this jutsu. Wedge some chakra into the edges of the shape, trying to force the smallest gap in which it did, seeing this gap the youth would pour more chakra to braces the edge but would act as a bridge wedging the now two walls formed by the object. He smiled to himself as his method to take a step of its own, he continued to pour more chakra in the edges. Forcing them to widen even more, once a stronghold had been formed he pushed upwards and began to force open the inside of the shape theoretically thinning the strength of the chakra wall. As sweat poured down his forehead, the youth continued to pushed open the shape until he was left with what seemed to be a hollow 10x10 wall.


Letting the beads of sweat continue down his face the youth could feel the fatigue take hold, he felt the energy lose hard. He was completely drained, but he was so close next he needed to incorporate his bugs into the equation and once he did that he would feel confident he might actually be able to get a hold of the jutsu. Still holding the shape, Falorein stared at the object and let a sigh out as he stood prepared to continue.

Falorein, huffed just a tad sighing he was still having to train today. It really took a lot out of him, once he mastered the jutsu it wasn’t so bad but regardless he still was exhausted from the training performed earlier. Cracking his neck, the youth was trying to summon some sort of willpower to start the next phase, even though it was hard holding his chakra at this level and containing the shape, Falorein still couldn’t be bother moving. Shaking his head, he let determination regain its hold over him and he continued on wards taking control of the situation once more.

He closed his eyes and delved deep inside his body, trekking the all too familiar paths of the Kikaichu home. Years ago they had burrowed within him, causing pain he couldn’t remember but today he thanked every moment he was a member of the Aburame clan. Exploring the bug made paths, the child began to connect with as many bugs as he came by within the burrows. Searching he began pushing them outwards forcing them from the comfort of their abode, into the open world where he would be able to control them to do the technique he was training. Following the main bulk of the hive, the youth would open his yes coming back to reality. Falorein held his palms out flat and prepared for their emergence.

The Kikaichu came rushing out of the sleeves in his arms, the Genin reacting quickly summoned fourth some more chakra, quickly creating a tunnel like shape around both his arms guiding the Kikaichu towards the hollow wall of chakra standing ahead.He then proceeded to connect the tunnel with the wall, drilling into the walls shape trying to fuse the two. So the bugs would have no choice but to follow it and fill the hollow wall creating the Jutsu effects. With his eyes focused on the two objects, Falorein pushed using strength of wills to drill the objects to join. But it proved a more difficult feat then he expected. But he continued onwards, he felt so close he might master the technique by the end of the day and he would be one step closer to being able to defend himself and another. A few moments’ passed and the tunnel now filled with Kikaichu; was connected to the inner part of the chakra wall. Now he needed to force the bugs in.

He delved once more entering the consciousness of the bug collective; he would forcibly take control and begin herding the bugs from within himself through all his limbs and eventually heading out of his sleeves into the tunnel. As the bugs still contained in his body left, he realised the bugs in the tunnel weren’t moving, he headed up there harnessing the gift of control and forcibly over powering the bugs limited minds, Falorein urged them onwards. Using all the willpower he could muster, he pushed. It took mere moments for Falorein to eventually win the mental battle of wills, as the bugs herded into the hollow wall they would be forced to take the shape of the wall he wished to create.

Once the bugs flooded in and filled the shape to its fullest, he would begin the task of removing the chakra and leaving the bugs to take control of the shaping and structure of the wall among being able to keep it strong and protect him from various projectiles. Once he was confident the bugs were in position, Falorein slowly pulled back on the chakra and like glass the outer structure of the wall which contained the bugs began to shatter and withdraw. Tensing his whole body he emphasized to the bugs to remain in their current position and hold shape. He closed his eyes and continued to hold onto that thought hoping once he opened his eyes the wall would hold.

Letting the bug wall fall, Falorein would stand a moment or two trying to gather himself. Deciding to leave the Aburame beetles for a while, both they and he needed a rest. The Genin would check on the nest he had left to grow in the ground and so far it had advanced quite well and even the ants had multiplied to a grand scale, he also realised they had allowed a different type of Ant grow in their colony. He knew it would develop quickly due to the fact his chakra was meant to accelerate the process, but still it shocked him on how far the little colony had gone.

He reached out to this new type of ant trying to assume a domination over its will, but found he was denied rather easily too. It was immune to his current abilities and then that’s when he realised, he needed to master communication and harness the ability of these more hardy ants. HE closed his eyes and summons a thread of chakra, guiding it down the ants he nest he pushed it forward and enveloped a single legion ant, he then tried to send the thread directly to the mind of the ant and as he made the connection happened something changed. Everything swirled and he felt dizzy, opening his eyes he found he was standing in a blank environment a desert as sorts; nothing could be seen except sand for kilometres. Standing, the genin spun around for a minute before spotting a rather large looking shinobi?

As he opened his mouth the shinobi spoke “I’m the legions Ant, inner being.” Falorein stared about respond before being cut off again “I will not yield unless you best me here.” With a swift movement the shinboi pulled a single weapon from his back and charged. Shocked Falorein jumped back dodging the initial swipe, he tried to grab a weapon and found none. He looked up and already the shinobi was upon him once more, trying to dodge Falorein was to slow. He felt a pang of pain, screaming the youth rolled back. It felt like a sting, thinking for a moment the youth gathered himself and wondered how this could of happened and what was going. He took a moment the realised, this was the consciousness of the ant so this environment and the stinging pain was what the Ants limited brain power could accomplish this was a battle of wills nothing more. He leapt up and concentrated as the ant charged again this time he pushed forward with all the willpower he could muster, forming a weapon, a rather large sword the youth threw it at the ant shinobi. He rolled and paused then continued to come at Falorein.


It wasn’t good enough, he need to overpower the ant. Thinking, he pulled together his chakra and accessed it from his body, trying to force it into the mind of the ant hoping to affect the consciousness. Falorein pictured an environment in mind somewhere he had the advantage and punched forward forcing his willpower over the battle ground. As he lunged his fist forward, a husk of green changed the environment and his outstretched hand contained a scalpel. His most accurate weapon. He smiled and charge forward imbuing it with chakra, the Ant shinobi was taken back; by the sudden change in environment the area was this green verdant forest. Falorein was in mid charge when the Ant shinobi charged once more and a collision happened, kunai and scalpel.

The two weapons seemed locked in some contest of strength, Falorein pushed onto the taller and seemingly stronger opponent. Gritting his teeth falorein would summon what remained of his willpower and yelling at the top of his voice. Falorein pushed forward, driving the shinobi back and as he began to push him backwards, he realised the shinobi got smaller. One step at a time he continued to drive him back, after several minutes of struggle Falorein gave one last push, as he did this he felt a whirlwind of energy and he knew he was back in his own body and in reality.

Falorein would turn as his newly formed team would head towards the exit, he stared letting them proceed towards the tower. His eyes lowered realizing how close it could have been, turning he left the prisoner whimpering as he exited heading towards the kages tower.
