Although the effort and strain was great, Muu held it together. He didn't even notice the flame licking his body, his focus was completely dedicated to the creation of the mirrors, and holding them in place. There was still the problem with them being liquid and not full ice yet, but he'd deal with that once he'd achieved what he needed. He searched the air around him, feeling for more water molecules, and pulling them to him as if his chakra were a source of gravity. He was able to drum up enough water, and even more Mirrors began to shimmer into life above him this time. Stacking atop the previous ones, yet they keep the same distance, hovering apart and suspended in the air.
Eight more mirrors atop the first twelve. This was a record Muu hadn't imagined he'd reach. But the pressure was great. He fell to a knee, but refused to release the jutsu. His hand remained locked together, and the pain in his face was clear, as sweat poured off his skin. His face was flushed with red, but still he refused to fail at this. He looked up, as the last mirror, directly above him, the one that'd complete the dome began to slowly, painstakingly slowly shimmer into place. It rippled as the water molecules joined together, he was so close!
Finally it finished, and he felt his chakra in him well up. He had one more step. The heat was causing a thick fog as it connected with the water and began to start the evaporation process. If he was going to pull this off, he'd have to get them turned to ice, that would be mildly easier to maintain then holding all the water molecules together in so many different places. But he was so close, he had more mirrors constructed then he'd ever made before, and he'd be dammed if he was gonna fail after coming this far. It didn't matter where he was, or if there was little to no water, if it was there he'd find it, and if there was any way at all, he'd make it.
Gathering what he had left in the tank, Muu Began to howl with anger, using his emotion to charge his will for a final burst of chakra. The hand seal he held gave his will and chakra the direction and with his final release of chakra, like a wave emminating from his being, all the water mirrors froze all at once, creating reflective, perfectly frozen light blue mirrors. He'd done it! Muu fell to both knees, looking up at his creations, a thick mists now inside the dome made visibility difficult but not imposable. Sweat had soaked through his clothes, and he felt weak from chakra use, maintaining the mirrors, the search for water with his chakra in this hellish place, and the heat. It was killing him but the joy of fulfilling his determination was so worth it.
He tilted, and felt his body fall backward, but at the same time he felt a cool breeze envelop his body. His eyes began to close as he watched his ice mirrors crack and start to break, but then everything went black. Muu was wrapped in a cold embrace of Riku's power, transported out of the fiery hell and back to the ice cave where they'd met. He stood over the boy who'd fallen asleep form exasution, watching him for a moment, his clothing was charred, and he had some mild burns but otherwise he was fine. A light green glow emitted from Riku's hand, and he knelt down to place the glow on Muus forehead. The boy wasn't done yet, there was still much to do.
