Alright, now I was regretting lifting those crates. The boy not to mention, the rest of the crew continued to stare at me as I gazed out across the sea as we sailed across the ocean. I could see them from the corner of my eye. I could even hear them whispering about me. Good lord. Sigh. This is going to be a very long voyage. As I gaze out over the ocean, the waves within this area seemed somewhat high. High enough to rock the boat a few meters which left me wondering if that was enough to knock us off course.
I shift my gaze back to the driver of the boat only to wish I hadn’t. “Just how strong are you?” A sailor not a meter away from me asked with a hopeful gleam in his eye. I shrug. Despite I already knew. “Want to arm wrestle?” Another asked. This guy had muscles fatter than my neck. A smal smile crept upon my face as I shook my head. “Those muscles will snap my arm like a twig.” I said playfully, knowing that if I were to even flick his forehead, he would sail through the office on the boat and land in the water at the stern.
The guy had laughed at me before insisting that I try. I continued to decline despite the bribes. That went on for another hour or so before we finally docked at Kaminari’s harbour. Thank heavens! “Anytime you want an arm wrestle, you know where to find me, doll.” The man called out as I set foot on the wooden wharf. “And any time you want to visit, look up Takikage in Takigakure.” I said, my tone flat with annoyance. With that being said, the men on the boat stared in awe. I even heard one of them say “Was that the Godaime Takikage?!” I swiftly moved away from the area then.
Another hour later, I am traveling through a large span of land with thunder clouds looming overhead. This place looked ready to bucket down. Booming noises sounded in the distance, the sound awfully similar to that of a cannon. Gosh, how could Kumogakure shinobi live here? Hugging the cloak around me and pulling the hood up, I press on in hopes of finding another span of land that didn’t sound like a war zone.Move to Shimo no Kuni please.
