Description: Come to the tower we have a mission for you and your team. Local prisons are full of those needing interrogations, some of which are hard to crack with simple interrogation techniques. Take a team and assist the authorities in retrieving information pertaining to a crime. We have encountered many odd cases such as being mute, deaf, or simply strong willed. Return to the tower after this has been completed.
Reward: 8,000 Ryo (3,250 Ryo to the treasury)
Limit: Must have Game Master, Kage(s), or Staff. Must have a team of 3 or 4

Wraith had just left the barracks, his blank AnBu clothing now upon him, the cloak tight to his body and the plain white mask over his face. Underneath the cloak his typical brown attire was worn, nothing too special just clothing really, though around his waist a few bottles of ink designed for sealing jutsu and a paint brush. It didn't take too many steps, maybe only 500 for him to arrive at the prison where his mission was to take place, he approached the perfect cube of a building and entered through the front door putting down his mission slip on the administrators desk. I'm here to interrogate. Wraith turned his head looking towards the administrator, he knew for this that he may have to swallow himself and be a bit darker than normal. It is my first time here, I would need an escort to where I am to go if possible....

She took impartial steps towards the prison, cheerfully whistling her way through the streets of Iwagakure. Her arms swung back and forth as if to mimic the march of a soldier. The girls clothing was the same type she always wore. A bright-orange and hooded sweater was layered over her white camisole dress and thigh-length skirt. Two large and black tags kept her hair tied in twin ponytails. As always her boots were also equipped, made to look like regular boots they were in fact her greaves in disguise.

Aria had recieved her first mission, and like any fresh genin she was eager to exhibit her prowess. She still had the letter held firmly in her grasp, not that the girl needed it; she could still remember its contents word for word. Which was exactly why the genin arrived at the prison at exact time, not a minute too late or early. With hands on hips she examined the building, the first word that came to mind... 'gross'.

As she approached the colourless structure her bright expression vanished. Replaced with a cautious glare for just a moment she blinked to her left, then to her right. The consistant feeling of being followed never faded since her childhood. She sighed then returned to her cheerful conduct, alongside a countdown she gradually assumed a leaping stance.

"One... two... THREE!!!"

The doors to the prison slammed open, and in came Aria gliding towards the reception desk; sliding on the foot she almost broke the door with, she was close to breaking her balance and stumbled forward the last few feet. She recovered her footing quickly, and smiled, open palm on her chest she introduced herself with closed eyes.

"MY NAME IS ARIA- genin of Iwagakure -AT, YOUR, SERVICE!"

The girl opened her eyes as her grin grew considerably larger. She was loud, and in some cases a pest, but at least she could be entertaining to watch at times...

From a distance.

The two would be introduced to an Anbu Wolf. The black robe and signature mask an obvious indication of his position within the Anbu organization. "Welcome to your assignment. I will be your guide and subordinate. Though I will be reviewing your judgement and utilization of your team." The Anbu wolf said.

Turning toward Aria the wolf agent smiled, though it was behind the mask, "Aren't you the just the most adorable thing that came out of the academy! I hope you can be of use for y our team leader here. We have a naughty lady who needs to tell use the truth about what had happened recently!" And indeed there was such an individual. "Now if you two would like to follow me I will show you to the prisoner..." Said the Anbu.

With that and a jingle jangle of a key set leading the way. Opening a few barricades of metal doors and iron bars. Leading the way to two sets of doors. The one on the left was the observation room. The one on the right was the room that the interrogation took place with the prisoner inside. Above both doors it was marked as simple prison meeting rooms as to confuse the prisoners so that they didn't know they would be watched from the next room. And indeed the observation room acomplished this with a skillfully placed camera system. The Anbu pointed to each and explained what they were for. "Now please lead the way Prospect!" He said cheerfully, addressing Wraith.

Turning when a young girl burst through the door he raised an eyebrow behind his Blank AnBu mask. The loud call of the girl took him back a little but his mask hid the expression upon his face. Welcome to the Prison... I wouldn't recommend shouting like that Aria... My name is Ikiryo... He lied about his name again, he didn't want people to know his name while he wore any AnBu style outfit, he figured this might be the best course of action. This way he could compartmentalize as needed, Wraith and Ikiryo, Ikiryo being the one that may have to get a bit more devious at times.

The AnBu took the lead and spoke to Aria first and once he had spoken to her Wraith waited until it was polite for him to do so to. Aria, I may have to put a seal on you when we are in there to gain the lady's trust... don't worry it wont hurt and I will remove it from you after we leave. Is that okay? After asking Wraith would turn back to the AnBu listening out for her reply while they set off to the prisoner.

Aria may be a loud, hot-headed child but she was not witless. The girl turned to the man who had introduced himself as Ikiryo, then to the other ANBU. They were both being far too condescending for her liking, so as a response she simply puffed up her cheeks in mild anger. As they turned from her to lead the way her cute and innocent expression turned to a frown, the girl knew exactly why she was here now; and she did not like it. In the shadow of Iriryo she followed in silence.

It barely took a few seconds for her to lighten up again, following closely behind the two in a joyful skipping motion. They came to a stop and she was asked a question, with a curious expression she listened.

"Aria, I may have to put a seal on you when we are in there to gain the lady's trust... don't worry it wont hurt and I will remove it from you after we leave. Is that okay?"

She considered the suggestion with a gentle hum, she saw no reason why she shouldn't go through with it; they were both ninja of Iwagakure, it couldn't be a trap of any sort. Though it sounded like she was being set up to be used by this man, and that was what Aria did not like about the idea.

"Isn't there another way?"

She suggested, if possible the girl would like to solve this without using any underhand methods.

Scratching the back of his neck as he felt a little akaward, The Anbu gave a bit of a chuckle. "Well anyway, I think I'll head for the observation room. I'll handle the paper work and recording if you don't mind boss." he of course was referring to Wraith as the boss. If there was no other order for the Anbu, then he made his way into the next room to set up the recordings.

Meanwhile there would be an angry yell coming from the other room. It was the perpetrator, and it sounded female.

Lookind down at Aria Wraith gave a little nod. I will only ask it of you if I have to, but this whole situation would go a lot easier if she willingly accepts the seal.. it's the seals only flaw. She has to accept it so by showing her that it doesn't hurt to have it placed she may be more willing to accept it. The seal will just prove that she isn't lying about what she says in the end. Wraith looked up for a moment as the AnBu spoke...

"Well anyway, I think I'll head for the observation room. I'll handle the paper work and recording if you don't mind boss."


Of course, I'm not a huge paperwork fan anyway Wraiths voice still showed his emotion which was unlike the stereotype for AnBu where they had to be as blank and plain as his own mask. As they walked down to the area a variety of loud and slightly angry language could be heard from one of the rooms... Wraith guessed this was going to be the woman he had to interrogate. Aria, let me go in first and if I need to I will call you in if that's okay? With or without Aria Wraith would take a deep breath and enter into the room.. his first AnBu style mission...

It appeared the seal wasn't some sort of cheap tactic after all, Aria smiled as Ikiryo confirmed this. A seal to tell if someone was lying or not, the kunoichi had never heard of such a thing. Then again she was still very unexperienced, and she knew as such. She skipped along the path following closely behind Irikyo. If it came down to it, the girl saw no problems with using such a seal.

Though applying the seal by force or without consent would still feel wrong, the child only hoped it wouldn't come down to that.

They stopped at a prison door where the prisoner was being held, she was made certain of this by the loud screaming of the woman. Aria felt repentant at hearing how angry she was, she had every right to be; in the girls opinion, nobody deserved to be locked away like an animal. Her guilt was reflected in her expression.

"Aria, let me go in first and if I need to I will call you in if that's okay?"

She directed her guilt-ridden look towards her partner.

"Mhm"

It was all she could manage at the moment, as much as she wanted to meet the person face to face she couldn't summon the will to; at least not immediately. Aria was a genin of Iwagakure, and in the womans eyes would be nothing more than another pawn trying to get information out of her. For now Aria made way to the observation room and waited there as her masked companion entered the interrogation room.

From the room she could observe and listen to the inquisition with ease.

Aria would find the other Anbu wolf with a form writing out a few things. There were monitors set up here that had a direct feed to camera's in the next room. The Anbu nodded to Aria as she entered."Make sure to be quiet, you never know how well they can hear you." he said in well a quiet tone.

Wraith entered the room. The women in there eyed the enterance of the Anbu prospect. "WHY DO YOU ALL HIDE BEHIND MASKS!" she screamed. Wraith could notice that the room was very plain. The women was hancuffed to the table in such a way where her hands could not come together, and yet they were spread comfortably across it. Other than her chair and another on the other side of the table, there was no other feature of the room. A plain white room with nothing else. Though there are cameras watching from somewhere, it is just simply how this room worked.

Wraith looked upon the womans face, she clearly as mad and her comment about his mask was not upon deaf ears. He didn't like lying but for this he couldn't be himself he had to be someone else. Wraith looked at the woman and introduced himself. My name is Ikiryo, don't worry I'm not a torture style AnBu.. don't want to hurt that pretty little face of yours. Wraith looked about the room, it was reasonably sized and having seen the woman chained to the table he would relax slightly and turn his back on her to face where the other room was. He assumed they could see him and he did not want her to see the motion he made with his hands for the pair to move as far back as they could.

He hoped they saw and got the hint before he began to weave a set of hand signs stopping on the last one before walking around behind her to the very edge of the wall to finish the string. Suddenyl a pulse of energy came form him, it wasn't one that could be physically felt but anyone within five meters of him suddenly became a bit more mellow with one another. It was the ninjutsu technique known as happy wave, it didn't last long but hopefully he could get what he needed to know.

Should the woman have calmed down a little due to the jutsu he would get a bit closer, still mindful of the fact that he couldn't get too close to the others. So tell me, I forgot your name.. I'm Ikiryo remember....

If successful, the jutsu forces a response in the opioid receptors of the brain. All parties are immersed in a euphoric state and begin to act like old friends, and if there's anyone else that enters the vicinity, the affected insist everyone else stop fighting and join in the pleasantries. Once the effect ends in one party, it ends in the others too.

Aria was advised to remain quiet, the girl was planning to remain silent anyway; the reminder from the ANBU was unnecessary but not left unappreciated. The genin returned the advice with a soft smile then averted her attention to the interrogation room.

"WHY DO YOU ALL HIDE BEHIND MASKS!"

The sudden outburst almost made the girl jump, from the observation room they could hear the woman much louder than before. Aria examined her, chained to the table like some kind of dog on a leash. It upset the kunoichi to see the woman chained up like that, her frown grew larger as she noticed Ikiryo casting handseals.

Her gaze shifted back to the ANBU beside her as she whispered.

"What did she do exactly?"

She asked in an attempt to justify, to put her mind at ease. Her voiced was laced with remorse and guilt.

The women would glare intensely. All of a sudden she took a vow of silence it seemed. The emotion was easy enough to read on her face. She wasn't skilled at hiding such things, but she was rather strong willed. Nothing would be said.

As the happy wave erupted the room would soak up the extra chakra from the blast. The technique would be isolated to this room only. The women here would be hit hard with such a force, her body even convulsed for a millisecond. But as she came to her posture changed and she, well she was happy. "Hey, that feels goood.." She said as if drunk or drugged. Her speech was a bit slurred but she seemed to have broken her vow of silence...

The scribbles of the Anbu could be heard. The writings were rather mundane, simply recording down the events. "Because this way we are immune to the law while serving in the line of duty. Sometimes our work demands to bend such things to complete our goal. And of course with our face hidden, we wont face prejudice when not on duty and amongst our family and friends" he said as he continued his scribbling.

The monitor would show the women react to something that was done. It looked almost as if she had suffered pain. But that was only appearance, it was only a sudden jolt of chakra that had hit here system. Scribbles could be heard from the Anbu as the question about this women's past was asked, "She is connected with the rebels somehow. She was picked up after a mission had gone bad within the village. Something about a wedding party and a plan to pin a mass murder on some of our Shinobi. It was actually kind of a nasty plan, they were all going to commit suicide...Most did.." He said as he shuffled through some files to find the mission report. He passed this over to Aria so that she may read.

Wraith wasn't getting a reply from the lady which admittedly annoyed him a little bit. Come on, I know you don't want to be here and neither do I. I want to go get a fresh pot of tea.. you're free to join me if you like... Wraith would smile behind his mask letting the tone of his smile combined with the happy wave jutsu carry onto the woman with a warm feeling. If you like we can make it even quicker so nothing has to be verified.. you know what the others can be like.. If you let me, I would like to just pop a little mark on you and what it does is if i ask you not to lie to me, it lets me know if you lie to me. This way we can just get it over and done with and leave... It will help to prove your innocence. Wraiths techniques and style was definitely odd for an AnBu wolf but he was sure the AnBu who referred to him as boss knew about his sealing capabilities and even then about the directive seal too.

Aria accepted the token, holding the file in both hands. She was curious but the file was far too large for her to be bothered to read, if the genin even had the time for such things. What had managed to catch her attention from what the ANBU had said was 'rebels'. As far as Aria knew most rebel organizations don't just materialize from thin air, they always have a motive behind their actions.

Of course this reason could be anything from disliking the way things were to oppression, the girl was curious as to the reason behind it all but the masked man looked busy enough; she would not disturb him.

As for the interrogation Aria was not happy with how it had went so far, her frown reflected her distaste in how it had been handled. The woman who was previously shrieking and cursing was now acting unusually mellow, which indicated something along the lines of a genjutsu had been used. Aria absolutely despised genjutsu, and from what she had seen Ikiryo had not even tried to reason with her before casting it on the woman.

She had stated before her opinion on using underhand methods in this interrogation, though it appeared her partner completely ignored her advice. Naturally the girl was irked by the thought, she stood in a stubborn silence as she observed the interrogation.

If things went too far she would intervene.

The women was swaying back and forth blissfully. She didn't have a care in the world. Whatever this man in a mask had done to her was alright by her. A promise of tea made her smile as she nodded to this. The proposition that was presented to her was easy to understand and she simply smiled. She would give her answer.

Spreading her arms out wide, she scrunched up her torso bring her knees to her chest. Then with a bit of grunting she put her feet above the table and and spread them wide open. "Yes! Whatever your going to do to me, give it to me RIGHT HERE!" Her head cocked back as she giggled.

It might have seemed sarcastic, but the women was honest. Whatever it was she would not resist. Anything coming from Wraith right now, was nothing but goodness in her point of view........

Wraith eyes up the woman and withdrew a pot of ink and would place the directive seal upon her neck finishing it off with a wave of handseals. Right, that's placed now you just have to agree and accept what I say first. I say for you not to lie to me and will answer the questions truthfully. Once you accept that I will ask you a couple of questions and you can leave this room. Once more the smile came across in his voice, Wraith wasn't a stern person, besides this ninjutsu wouldn't let him be mean to anyone within the room right now any way.

Should she accept the directive Wraith would ask the first question. Do you know why you were bought here?

Directive Seal Placement - 30

Effect: The user uses their knowledge gained by studying the seal itself, and then uses it to place the seal upon the recipient.
Special: handseals, after drawing the tattoo on the bearers body
Drawback: None, but the directives need to be put into place before any effects of the seal can be seen.
Description: The user takes their knowledge of the seal, and then use that to place the tattoo upon someone else with a combination of ink and chakra.
Limit: Must have knowledge of the directive seal, must learn the process from either Rowidren or someone he’s taught.

Skill: Universal Ninjutsu
Effect: Creates the directives within the back of the bearers mind. Giving them the guidelines for obedience.
Special: Handseals, and then hold your hand to the recipients forehand.
Drawback: These are very finicky. The wording needs to be just so, or else loopholes will be present. Directives may only be one sentence long at most, and one bearer may have a maximum of 4 directives. The recipient must be willing to accept the first set of directives, afterwards their directive may be edited and changed with the various techniques without consent as long as the limitations on the deletion technique and creation technique are followed. There are ways to remove the directives, with certain mental techniques, but the bearer has an ingrained directive not to remove them, Meaning someone else would have to perform the technique.
Description: After the placement of the seal upon the recipient, the user must make a mental note in the back of their brains. By keeping hand contact with the recipient’s forehead, the user will implant at maximum 4 directives that are to be followed by the bearer of the seal. Should they be broken, the seal activates and the bearer is subject to all the adverse effects. The directives may only be simple commands such as “uphold the law”, “Don’t murder”, or “Protect the innocent”. Many directives are vague enough for loopholes, so the user needs to choose them carefully. Many users tend to hide the directives particulars from the bearer, so that they cant work out a loophole mentally for themselves. Many Yamanaka, and other mental clans have been known to disable these kind of mental suggestions with various amnesia causing techniques, but due to an automatic fifth directive, are unable to perform such a feet upon themselves.
Limit: Must know of the directive seal, and the placement technique.

So far everything was going well, the interrogation had not gone sour. Aria was left with nothing to do, so she sat in a corner of the observation room and began reading over the case files. If anything happened to the woman being interrogated she would be sure to notice. The genin had never been one for reading, but at least it was a way to pass the time. Meanwhile the woman couldn't stop babbling incoherent nonsense.

As far as Aria was concerned she was safe and unharmed, and that was what mattered most to her.

The women laughed. She was high or drugged or whatever she was feeling but she told herself she wasn't going to tell. "..." But then she thought about it. It doesn't matter really, she would answer the questions that she wanted to answer. She would just not answer the ones that she needed to lie about, "DEAL!!! Now give me more of that some some!" The women backed her legs back down but she slipped and a loud CLANG could be heard. Her head slammed into the table. It seemed she had knocked herself out as well.

Back in the room the Anbu looked up right quick to see what was going on. "Oh you should pay attention to this, it seems we might have a good cop bad cop situation going on. If you want to go in there and "stop" him from harming her further, your chance would be coming here shortly..." The Anbu said using his fingers as air quotes with the word Stop. Of course he had to write this down as he continued to monitor what was going on. It seems things were getting interesting...

Wraith smirked a little as she accepted the directive placed upon her... now, thanks to his wording.. she had no choice but to answer any questions given and then also to answer them truthfully. Wraith raised an eyebrow though at the womans attitude before watching as she K.O'd herself on the table... Right..... he thought to himself. Wraith would walk back around and sit on his chair as he watched her lying with her head on the table. What could he do now.. he had no techniques to bring her back. He was the boss though.. at least of this mission. After thinking for a small moment he got up from his chair and exited the room making his way around and into the observation room.

I'm going to need someone who can wake her up if you want answers. I don't have any techniques right now that can wake an unconscious person. This was directed at both Aria and the AnBu and he passed vision from behind his mask looking at either one. his happy wave of course was still in effect and the pair would feel the effects of it. Don't mind the happy warm feelings either, the technique hasn't worn off yet.

Aria perked up the moment she heard the woman crash against the floor, concerned for her safety she jumped to her feet and observed what had happened; the sight of the unconscious woman made her panic, what had Ikiryo done to her whilst she was not looking? The girl grit her teeth and made a start for the exit, when she was interrupted by the ANBU.

"Oh you should pay attention to this, it seems we might have a good cop bad cop situation going on. If you want to go in there and "stop" him from harming her further, your chance would be coming here shortly..."

The ANBU would not even get to finish their speech before the genin burst through the observation room door and made her way back to the interrogation room. She felt a surge of compassion as she crossed paths with Ikiryo.

As if possessed by some kind of weird spirit, the girl who now appeared to be intoxicated waltzed out of the building. The jutsu that was originally meant to calm the woman down had also effected Aria, and whilst effected by this jutsu she had completely forgotten her original mission.

"Ice Cream..."

She drooled and left the prison.
