Michiko gathers the evidence of her kill and ushers Junko/Fumiko off so they can both return with to receive their credit for this AnBu Mission. Re-gathering her robe she shuffles it all back into place and notifies the other AnBu member of their heading back to turn in for credit for this mission. Using her compass she leads junko back to stone village. Active Jutsu =========================================== Byakugan Rank: "C"x3 [50TP] (Special, See Description) Skill: NinJutsu Effect: An jutsu when activating allows the user the ability to constantly see chakra. Special: --- Drawback: May Learn at a maximum of 5 times. Description: Picture An Eye jutsu for the Hyūga Clan. When activating the user's eyes dilate in the same white color as veins bulge out of the corner of the eyes. The user can activate this technique as a "C" Rank technique taking up handseals. The user is able to see through and thus ignore lighter forms of concealment, such as smoke or mist. The user may concentrate for an amount of Handseals equal to a "C" Rank Technique while their Byakugan is active to gain the See Chakra and See Through Chakra effects for as long as the user concentrates and their Byakugan remains active. Deactivating this Ability takes up no movements. When the user learns this technique the 1st 2 times they train it as a regular "C" Rank Jutsu. When the user learns this technique the 2nd 2 times they train it as a "C" Rank Jutsu +10 Training Points. When the user learns this technique the last time they train it as a "C" Rank Jutsu +20 Training Points. Limit: Must be in the Hyūga clan. See Chakra and See Through Chakra Effects See Chakra: User can see chakra being used, chakra auras and lingering chakra. It allows the user to attempt to identify the effect of lingering chakra (use Chakra Lore Skills). User can make an Observation skill check to detect GenJutsu techniques or see Chakra Activity. User can focus their sight to examine a creature or object to detect traces of lingering chakra with an Observation check. Traces are the result of an active effect placed on the target from a technique or ability needing Chakra. Success allows the user to make a second check to identify the effect to get a rough idea of the source, but requires a clear line of sight to the target. Check difficulty depends on the Source Strength. D and "C" Rank/Class, Faint strength, Very Difficult Difficulty. B Rank/Class, Moderate strength, Difficult Difficulty. A Rank/Class, Strong strength, Average Difficulty. S Rank/Class, Overwhelming strength, Easy Difficulty. A User can see a creature's Class Level and can determine the strength of the chakra signature, but does not gain a bonus to Observation checks to detect a creature regardless of the strength of its chakra aura. Each Chakra signature has an individual color to it, but it is typically not plausible for the user to remember each one. This ability depends on sight and does not function when blinded. See Chakra: See Through Chakra: This ability functions like See Chakra, but the user gains a +20 circumstance bonus to Observation checks to detect lingering chakra, genjutsu, and see chakra activity (+5 circumstance bonus every additional learning of Byakugan). User also gains a +2 resistance bonus to disbelieve GenJutsu and Mind Affecting techniques (+1 resistance bonus every additional learning of Byakugan). The user knows can tell a non-corporeal chakra constructs or a physical entity. User can tell most summons and clones by sight (Exception Kage Bunshin no Jutsu and similar techniques). User can see internal uses of chakra such as active Bloodline abilities and ranks of Lingering Chakra. =========================================== Passive or Activated non-Draining abilities. =========================================== Unscathed Rank: "C" Skill: Trait Effect: The user is amazingly resistant to energy attacks because of their upbringing or Chakra experimentation. Special: --- Drawback: --- Description: Each type of energy resistance the user has (if any) increases by 20 Armour Points. This trait replaces 1 of the 5 Freebies. Limit: Must start with Character; 1 Freebie. =========================================== Chakra Resistance Rank: "B" Skill: Trait Effect: Some Humans are even less affected by Chakra. Special: --- Drawback: --- Description: Increases the characters natural bonus on saves vs. Chakra Jutsus & Chakra-like effects to +4 Trait Bonus. Users gain a Damage Resistance against Chakra Techniques equal to 20 points Racial Bonus. This trait replaces 2 of the 5 Freebies. Limit: Must start with Character; 2 Freebies.. =========================================== Grendle Ancestry Rank: "B" Skill: Trait Effect: A trait that grants healing properties to the user. Special: --- Drawback: Cannot gain any other Ancestry Traits. Description: Some human bloodlines trace their linage back to a grendle, an offspring born of troll and human parentage. Living humans with this racial trait are immune to bleeding out. If they are also "C" Class they heal Minor damage per 15 rounds. If they "A" Class and they lose a limb, an organ, or any other body part, once per day the user's severed body members (fingers, toes, hands, feet, arms, legs, tails, broken bones, and ruined organs grow back. The physical regeneration is complete in 1 round if the severed members are present and touching the creature. It takes 15 rounds otherwise. Regenerate also heals Serious Damage within 15 rounds, and rids the subject of exhaustion and/or fatigue. It has no effect on nonliving creatures (including undead). This trait replaces 2 of the 5 Freebies. Limit: Must start with Character; 2 Freebies.. =========================================== Koutetsu no Karada (Steel Body) -[90TP] Rank: "D", "C", "B", "A", "S" Skill: Ninjutsu, Supplementary in Weapon Form. Effect: Determines the durability of the user's Steel Body. Special: "Hand Seals", supplementary in Weapon Form. Drawback: The more durable the body is, the less speed that the user has. The speed is of the user is reduced by one Difficulty Class from their current Difficulty Class for every Rank of the technique that the user has active. If at any point the user's Difficulty Class for movements reduces below "D" Rank, they will be considered to have zero movements per turn, unless they are performing the required handseals to obtain a lower Durability. Description: The Koutestu no Karada, or the Steel Body, is the understanding of just how powerful the user's steel has become. The Steel of the body is capable of resisting up to one strike of the same Rank as it before becoming injured. This technique, while not in weapon form, can be modified around, due to the fact that the lower the ranking, the faster that the user is capable of moving with less training. When the user has transformed into Weapon Form, they will automatically take the highest rank of this ability in order to state their durability. Limit: Must have Koutetsu Katansei of the same rank. =========================================== Karada Sumiyaka (Body Speed) -[90TP] Rank: "D", "C", "B", "A", "S" Skill: Supplementary Effect: Allows the user to learn to move at speeds equivalent to their Difficulty Class. Special: --- Drawback: Must learn the technique for every rank of Koutetsu no Karada or else the user will suffer from movement penalties. Description: This specialized form of training is given to those individuals within the Seitetsu Clan. Upon becoming an individual with the Steel Body technique, the user's own speeds will dramatically suffer. This training allows the user to act as if they were unaffected by the steel transitions within the body, allowing them to fight normally. Each Rank of this technique reduces the Difficulty Class Movement Penalty imposed by the Steel Body technique by one Difficulty Class, meaning that if the user only has the "D" Rank of this technique but switches to "B" Rank Steel Body, then they will have their movements reduced to the point that they would move as if they were two Difficulty Classes lower than they were, instead of three. If they have the "C" Rank Steel Body, then they will suffer only a singular class deduction with the "B" Rank Steel Body, and the "B" Rank of this technique would allow for no Difficulty Class Movement Penalty for the "B" Rank Steel Body. Limit: Must have the corresponding rank of Koutetsu no Karada. =========================================== Know Their Pain Rank: "B" Skill: NinJutsu Effect: Get an understanding of how much life a target has. Special: --- Drawback: This does not work on undead. Description: The user looks over another creature and can discern how close it is to releasing its soul. There are no hand movements, no actions, the user simply looks at the target and can simply know how much more life the target has before the soul finally leaves the body. This does not work on undead. This is normally used for NPC purposes. Opponent's cannot state how much life a PC character will have unless they are at the verge of death. Limit: Must be a Soulcaster. =========================================== Kikaichu no Jutsu (Destruction Bug Host Technique) -[10TP] Rank: D Skill: Ninjutsu Effect: Allows the user to control the kikaichu given to him by the Kikaichu Ishoku ritual. Special: N/A Drawback: The kikaichu feed from the shinobis chakra. Description: This allows the user the control the kikaichu in the use for their techniques. he bugs feed and live off the Chakra which the body stores and in return the Ninja gets to control and command the bugs, using them as their primary fighting technique. These bugs have the ability to drain chakra through physical contact with the enemy (and possibly consume a fraction of the host's chakra as well.) Limit: Must have Kikaichu Ishoku =========================================== Keen Sight Rank: "C" (Special, See Description) Skill: Supplementary Effect: While the Byakugan remains active, the user gains an insight bonus to Observation checks. Special: --- Drawback: Must have the Byakugan active. May learn up to 6 times. Description: Each time learned the user gains +5 insight bonus to their Observation and Sense Motive checks so long as the Byakugan remains active. When the user learns this technique the 1st 2 times they train it as a regular "C" Rank Jutsu. When the user learns this technique the 2nd 2 times they train it as a "C" Rank Jutsu +10 Training Points. When the user learns this technique the 3rd 2 times they train it as a "C" Rank Jutsu +20 Training Points. Limit: Must be in the Hyūga clan. Must know Byakugan. =========================================== Telescopic Eye Rank: "C"x9 (90 meters) (Special, See Description) Skill: Supplementary Effect: The user is able to see much further than normal and access an X-Ray ability. Special: --- Drawback: Must have the Byakugan active. May learn up to ∞ times. Description: When concentrating to See Through Chakra, the character can also spend time equal to Handseals to gain the ability to see through objects with X-ray like vision up to 10 meters from the user. This does not impede the user's line of sight and the distance a user can normally see, however they simply will not be able to use the X-ray ability beyond 10 meters. When the user first learns this technique the user trains it as a regular "C" Rank Jutsu. Each additional training allows the user to use the X-Ray ability for an additional 10 meters. For every 50 meters the user trains an additional +10 Training Points added to their previous training. The user also suffers a penalty to Observation checks every 15 meters instead of every 3 meters. If user loses an eye (has 1 eye) Telescopic Eye is reduced by 50%. Future learning also reduces distance by 50%. Limit: Must be in the Hyūga clan. Must know Byakugan. =========================================== Enlightened Byakugan Rank: "B" Skill: Supplementary Effect: A technique that allows the user to see all around them giving them the ability to no longer become flanked. Special: --- Drawback: --- Description: While the Byakugan is active, the user can only be flanked by creatures of his Class Level or higher, unless they become flat-footed or immobilized. In addition, when the user is concentrating to use their Telescopic Eye, the user may make an Observation check in any direction without needing to move. Limit: Must be in the Hyūga clan. Must know Telescopic Eye. =========================================== All-Seeing Eye Rank: "B" Skill: Supplementary Effect: The user sees all that is around them, and nothing can escape their all-seeing eye. Special: --- Drawback: User gains a small blind spot located at the back of the neck above the first thoracic vertebra. Description: Picture Taking the time of a "B" Rank Technique in Handseals the user may activate this technique. By activating this ability the Byakugan gives the user a near 360° field of vision, except for one blind spot at the back of the neck above the first thoracic vertabra. The distance of this vision is 1/5th of the user's knowledge in Telescopic Eye (Maximum Distance 40 Meters). Please note that the further the user may see, the larger the blind spot becomes. User is still subject to eye attacks. Limit: Must be in the Hyūga clan. =========================================== Solid Regard Rank: "C" Skill: NinJutsu Effect: The user becomes Immune to fear and intimidate effects. Special: --- Drawback: --- Description: The user knows their soul and where it is going and this makes them fearless. This technique only works on the user. This technique lasts for 4 hours per class level. The user becomes Immune to fear and intimidate effects. This includes GenJutsu techniques that are meant to cause Fear.
