Just what was the Amekage thinking employing a sick, crazed guy like that in the mission department in the tower? Raising both my hands and retying my long ruby hair into a ponytail. I began braiding it as I walked down the steps leading toward the village streets. I was still wearing my white bandage-like top which covered only my breasts while heaving my collar and stomach bare, and a pair of black baggy pants with zippers on both sides of each leg. They were baggy yes, but it was perfect when it came to movement.
My traditional ninja sandals no longer squeaked with each step, but they looked a little muddy from trampling through the mud all day long. Two tessen fans remained strapped to the belt of my butt bag (type 1) which held ten kunai knives, seven fragmentation grenades and nine blood clot pills. I also had my world map laying across the top of the items inside the bag as well. My shield (heavy) was attached to my back while my black timber wolf, Yoko walked alongside me.
The rain had died down to a mere drizzle by the time I had left the tower. Seeing so much rain probably wasn’t normal, but this was Amegakure after all. The buildings of the village stood moderately high, with water constantly dripping from the spouts running off the sides of each roof. Citizens wondered along the streets dealing with their businesses and daily lives. Routine, my mother would have said. Yoko lowered his nose to the ground, lapping at a puddle that he had come across. Despite the rain, there was always something to drink around here.
