Tsuchi funshutsu no Jutsu (Earth spewing Technique)
Rank: “C” “B” “A” “S”
Skill: NinJutsu
Effect: A technique where the user takes a deep breath then spits out earth from his/her body, this can be used as a source for other jutsu or it can be used as a projectile.
Special: "Handseals"
Drawback: N/A
Description: The user holds the dragon seal and takes a deep breath expanding his rib cage but instead of oxygen, earth is exhaled. He will only spit out half his body weight of earth then the chakra from his body will then increase the mass according to the level of the jutsu. For a reason it is generally used to create earth where there is none, to allow the ninja to use other earth based jutsu. The earth is in a form of liquefied mud though after a few seconds of being in the open atmosphere it will harden into a natural, solid soil. The radius, speed and the amount of damage of earth varies at each rank. C rank = 5 meters. B = 10 meters. A rank = 20 meters. S rank = 40meters
Limit: Needs the Earth Release

Hayate Kiamura paced his little chasm as he considered what he was reading in the scroll with some trepidation. He knew this was an essential technique, a non uncommon technique at all though a bit more advanced than the bulk of what he knew. If you wished to use earth chakra, you need a way of getting earth, unlike water, wind, or lightning. But it was a disturbing concept to him. Sure in his water release training he had produced liquid but the body had that naturally. Humans were not made of earth. He made a face. Unless you included nightsoil. He certainly wasn’t going to shoot that at the enemy.
He read the scroll again. Deep breath, mold chakra in throat. Breath out and the breath is changed to a thick morass of mud around half the users body weight. The earth would feed off the extra earth chakra pumped into it and expand depending on skill of the user. Hayate swallowed convulsively at the thought of it. What if something went wrong with this? It could be very lethal. Then he took a deep breath.
‘So could needing earth and not having it,’ He thought to himself, moving over to a stony shelf he had hacked out of the wall and placing the scroll on it. The scroll was very clear and straightforward. He could do this. He just had to properly break it down into steps. First thing he would have to do is be able to turn his breath into earth without the expansion. If he could learn that the second shouldn’t be too difficult, probably easier to turn earth to more earth that to turn air to earth. He thought more about that first step. Turning air to mud seemed like a very dangerous thing to first try near your lungs. So he decided to practice in a different way.
Hayate sat on his knees, his hands in the dragon handseal held just below his mouth, as he breathed deeply and evenly, preparing himself and slowly molding the earth chakra. Instead of doing so in his throat and mouth however, he focused it just outside of his lips. Once he got this working he would move it properly internal so that he wouldn’t have to telegraph the technique like this. As he molded the chakra he realized why it was done internally. It was much harder to hold the chakra externally like this and far more noticeable as a slight brown haze.
He took one more deep breath and then looked down and breathed softly through the brown haze. He realized very quickly his mistake there. On the bright side, he had succeed. The air flowing through the haze turned into mud. On the downside, the gentle exhale didn’t give it much force and he ruined another pair of clothing as the mud dribbled down his arms and front and pants. Half your body weight in mud is not a small amount of mud, though he was pretty sure he hadn’t actually produced that much. Too much chakra had been lost to the air.
Hayate stood with the slightest look of annoyance as he brushed most of the mud off. That had been easier than he expected, but he had been stupid to not think it through on what would happen if he breathed gently. Oh well, he was ready for the next step. He decided to be standing this time. Less area for the mud to fall on if he didn’t expell it hard enough. He placed his hands back into the dragon seal and took a deep breath.
This time the molding of the chakra was much easier. The scroll had explained how you created almost a net of earth chakra in your throat, and as the air passed through it there was a change and it was expelled as liquid mud. Having to do so in the air had been much more difficult as there were no real points to anchor the earth chakra. Now Hayate wove the chakra from line to line through his mouth until he had the net. It only took a couple of seconds, six at most. Then he breathed out hard, not wanting to make the same mistake as before. But he had missed something else he hadn’t expected. As he expelled the mud, it flowed through his mouth which he had opened but not as much as he should have. As the bitter mud hit his tongue he gagged, disrupting the flow of air and causing more mud to pool in his mouth.
Hayate fell to the ground coughing out gouts of mud, struggling to breath as he knelt on hands and knees in the small pool he had manage to expel before his breath had failed. It was a horrifying sensation, and incredibly difficult not to breath until he got all the mud out for fear of choking on solidifying earth. When it was all gone, Hayate didn’t move for long minutes, trembling. He didn’t roll into a ball this time, but still he couldn’t move. He could have choked himself on earth right there. When he got to his feet he was still shaking though it was under control. He would have to think about this a lot more before he tried again. If he tried again.
