Sense motive passed
As Katsu walked away, driven by his fear, Kirigane would quickly move to keep up with him. The closest thing to a friend he had in this place, Katsu was like a knight in shining armour to the terrified swordsman despite the fact he was moving closer to his fear. The two would walk together only a short distance before the light of Kirigane torch would reveal an small room about five by five meters in size. In this room were a bunch of shelves that appeared to have had all the books forcefully removed identified by the torn scraps of paper left behind, empty shelves where potions once laid evident by the rings of condensation still wet where they sat. Some empty tables and chairs laid scattered about the place as well but most importantly there was, sitting in a chair in the very center of the room, the dead corpse of Crone! Blood was splattered everywhere giving the room a deep copper scent that could be detected upon entering the tunnel toward to room. The most grizzly of the situation before the pair was however the head of Crone being cut completely off her shoulders and resting upon the corpses lap with a pike through her eye passing through the brain and out the back of the skull.
Eerily the corpse seemed to be holding the decapitated head in place as its hands were moved postmortem to cradle it. Someone seemed to have a twisted mind. Just looking at the scene was enough to send Kirigane to the doorway to throw up and venture no further into the room, and despite his immunity at this point Katsugan would understand just why the black clad swordsman was so terrified as despite the immunity to fear he would sense an evil chill in this place that if he had not been immune would send shivers down his spine and his make his knees shake. If anything the very fact that Kirigane was even here right now proved that he was indeed somewhat brave. This place was evil. Now upon observing the room Katsugan's observation talent would allow him to notice that something had been shoved into the mouth of the decapitated Crone which would bring him two possible questions if not more. One, just what was in the old woman's mouth? Two, just who could kill such a powerful sorcerer?
(OOC: No need for an observation check as it's rather obvious.)
