Bodyguard //Enter - as discussed via PM. News said that Inoryu was floating around here somewhere training. The genjutsu master and Yamanaka would make for a good ally and bodyguard as far as the twins were concerned. Who knew that by being kage, the connections that happen around the village and country were so openly available to one person. Anais moved her hands onto her hips as she stared around the landscape, her icy eyes searching for Inoryu. Her black ankle-length coat rippled around her body like a cloak, revealing short black shorts and a thin bikini top. Anais’s knee-high black combat boots gleamed slightly in the sunlight despite the chilled day and the breeze sliced into her like a thousand ice picks. The butt bag rustling at her right side told her that the 6 kunai, 48 Hira-Shuriken and one mono goggle were all present. Anais wore the mono goggle over her right eye, knowing that its programs: camera and night vision with the zooming capacity of up to 25 metres, were all in working order. However, as she surveyed the area, a small figure in the distance caught her eye to the point when Anais’s fingers began adjusting the zooming until it was 15 metres in, Inoryu was definitely the figure that stood at the distance. As the twins walked toward him, an umbrella (medium) filled with 228 senbon needles was strapped tightly to the left side of her back beside Anais’s twin sister, Adelle. A Mandolin (small) hung just to the right of the umbrella just beneath a shield (heavy) which covered Adelle’s entire body. Anais wore one gauntlet on her left hand and arm while a small disk was hanging on the left side of her waist. “Inoryu, you got a minute?” Anais called out, closing the distance until she reached 4 metres away from the genin. She knew he was a genin as she did about his genjutsu mastery. But he didn’t know she knew that. “I’m not sure if you were in ear shot when I arrived from the tower earlier on today, but encase you weren’t I’m the new Kusakage and Adelle and I have a job for you.” Adelle peered out from behind her sister’s right shoulder and smiled warmly at Inoryu should he turn to greet – or face – them. “We’ve just come from the embassy and we had a few messages from neighbouring villages.” Adelle explained as Anais readjusted the goggle, “yeah and we’re heading over to Ame no Kuni now, and I could use your genjutsu tricks encase we’re caught by Ame ninja.” Anais finished, smiling and referring to what he had done when she approached him back at the village. |
