It had been an hour since Katsu and Okuda had set off from their village, heading Southeast towards the little fishing dock that their targets had taken as their base. Well, the people weren't really the targets, the target was actually a singular ship of advanced design that had once belonged to the Gale Empire. They'd left it behind in their retreat and it had been picked up by some “fishermen” who worked for a company that had a great number of contacts. Which meant either misdirection or outright stealth was the order of the mission this time around.
Now Katsu could just use a Henge and his own natural armor to prevent its dispersal, if he wanted to misdirect observers, but Okuda wasn't a Chakra-molder, and Katsu didn't know how to “share” his Henge with others yet, so it might very well be that they would end up having to kill everything to ensure no witnesses.
Either way it was about time they got to reading that note that the Raikage had given them earlier, so Katsu stopped, adjusting the full quiver on his back and shifting his bowstaff from one hand to another. He also took out a map and compass from his tactical vest in order to ensure their position and heading as he looked over at Okuda, ”About time we got out the Raikage's letter, don't you think Okuda?” There were bound to be plenty of details that needed to be accounted for in that note. Katsu knew that there were apparently poison using Nukenin involved, and had some doses of Ash, a useful poison cure, just in case, but surely there had to be more than that, or else this mission wouldn't be rated as a B rank, right?
