The wind was still as they walked. Fumiko normally likes to play with it on walks like these but, her talk with Shenjie had her on other things. She had a lot on her mind after all. So in that respect she'd gladly answer his questions. The feeling of Shenjie shifting his grip on her legs to accommodate her was an easy sign that she had to explain now. It would be rude not to anyhow.
"I say different, simply because my sister is dieing on the inside emotionally. She allows herself to be miserable and, take all the weight from life for me and, she doesn't ever tell me why. I've always assisted her without question but, now its like she's numb to her old passions now. Brother and, our parents tried to help but, she hides in the shadows like they are a second home.
We began to think it was the side effects of madness from our Mabuki traits toying with her, but it wasn't. In summary Junko isn't how she used to be. Her joy and pride helped negate even Godric's gloominess from her back then. We've seen a lot of people die in front of us and, each time it seems to make her colder until she became nearly numb to the remorse.
Now we have a new kage and, she doesn't even care to visit the tower anymore. Now don't get her wrong she isn't a murderer. She hides in the shadows not to kill. But to judge ones morals and actions. So earlier she didn't plan to kill you.
On the inside I feel like Junko is really the one who is dead though. Yet for some reason meeting you sparked a bit of her old self. I haven't felt her heart so warm like that in a long time. I can sense her compassion." Fumiko feel silent after that. There wasn't much to say anymore. She simply sighed a soft little sigh and, sunk into Shenjie's back again.
Junko to her own accord was only doing her part. She was curious as to what those two were up to back there but, she didn't intrude. She'd rather focus on finding that fan. She wouldn't know what to say if it disappeared forever. Fumiko likes that fan. Soon enough she did find it though. Right there against a nice and, healthy tree was Fumiko's Silver Dragon Fan. Its family engravings and, beautiful design shined brightly as the sun reflected off it. The paper inside its folds were nice and, warm yet overall the sight of it was fantastic. The thing was huge afterall. "Well there it is. As charming as ever." Junko joked lightly.
Fumiko would lightly poke at Shenjie's shoulder to gain his attention. "I'll be fine from here. Thank you Shenjie." she said politely.
