The Road to Another Road [Travel]

Zuruel began his long journey towards the land of Grass. Mercifully, thanks to the Land of Fire being connected to Grass, Zuruel only had to follow the dusty road all the way to the new country. His experience on his first boat hadn’t been a good one. Even though the road was a long and tiring one, he’d much rather deal with exhaustion than sea sickness again.

With the route to The Land of Grass safely memorised and marked on his map, Zuruel decided to head back to The Land of Fire. Since it had been a couple days, he hoped that the stores there would have replenished their stocks so that he can buy the books and gems he had been after for a while now.

Zuruel whipped out his map and studied its contents carefully. To help him better visualise the route, he pointed out where his current location, the Land of Fire was. He then traced his finger all the way to his destination, the Land of Waterfall. One set, he prepared his provisions before setting off. The journey would be a long one.

Zuruel's business in Waterfall was complete. While the stubby blacksmith set to work, he whipped out his map and made his way back to the Land of Fire. Specifically, he had important research to carry out within the safe confines of Mo's research and training center.

Sensing he now had more business in Waterfall, Zuruel set off in his grand journey for riches. Rumour had it that a particular plant could be found there that he could sell for quite the profit.

With the trip to the shop having been a complete and utter waste, Zuruel decided to head down the road back to the ever-welcoming Land of Fire. Hopefully, his home country would have what he sought.

After having packed the gems away, Zuruel traced his finger along his map in search for more markets. After discovering that the Land of Wind possessed one, he set sail towards it in hopes of discovering a few more of the precious gems needed to be added to his collection.

Grumpy at his awful luck, Zuruel abandoned his pilgrimage for the four remaining gems and instead, returned to Mo for some much needed training.

Hearing news of a certain weapon's creation in the Land of Hot Springs, Zuruel abandoned his quest for gems in favour of this new artifact. "This has to be it." He thought to himself as a sense of purpose ignited within him. Similarly, his companion's eyes seemed to light up in excitement. It would be a long journey, but surely it would be worth it... First though, a pit-stop to Waterfall to reunite with a old friend.

With the business in Hot Springs complete, Zuruel decided to head towards the neighboring Land of Frost. Through the whispers and grapevines, he had managed to catch wind of a particularly interesting rumour that he needed to check out. If the whispers were true, then he’d be paid quite handsomely for his troubles. The only question now was just how much had the whispers downplayed the danger?
