Titan of Stone
(OOC: A quick half-summary of history in Tsuchi no Kuni. Enjoy.)
Now that Junko was home, she felt a hard hitting sense of forgetfulness hit her. Flashback began to play in her mind, some making her shiver from the pain they held. Others making her smile or even cry. Mostly because from what she sees now, this village has changed drastically over time.
When she was young this place was so lively, and up beat it was hard for outsiders to believe this was the feared village from Land of Earth. A place once so powerful it left its gates wide open 24/7. ANBU still had to guard them at the time of course, but it was nice. She remembers the kage. When she was a child growing in the academy Junko and her sister remember specifically Saara the 3rd Tsuchikage was in office at the time. It was she, that welcomed them from the shadows. And her alone that always had a nice greeting to them.
Saara was in office for probably much longer than they can remember, but it was her that held office until she resigned in order to focus more on her family, with Ao Uchiha. They were never really seen after that, as they most likely moved to a different land to be alone together. After Saara left, the next Kage to take reigns was Godric the 4th Tsuchikage. By that time the twins were growing more in time, but still as clueless as ever, much worse and mindlessly followed anyone they could find to be a friend.
During that period, they were only C Class Genin. And very novice ones at that. And yet, still have witnessed two suicides, murder, and a near death experience when on a mission that was cut off by Rain Village ninja. Godric showed up and brought them home, when he heard word of this operation becoming sour. And Junko from then on forced Fumiko to train with her everyday, until she could do it on her own.
By the time they became B Class Genin, coming home from a failed Chuunin Exam, they were welcomed with open arms by their mentors, friends and families. Godric had called upon them, and during that time he was always so jolly. But that was probably most likely due, to everyone being under his genjutsu. It was then that the first Riot broke out. Some citizens who were probably most likely Venator before it became a world renown occupation stormed the village tower, trying to get in.
It was then Junko met the first ever Kage to lead Stone. It was an amazing moment. She doesn't remember his name, but she does remember him being a Zassou as he called it. Someone with vines in his body, one with the earth itself. It was crazy. Him in all of his glory came by to protect his village. Fighting along with him was an amazing experience for the twins, and really broadened their views. Godric left at some point during that time handing the reigns to the 1st Tsuchikage.
It was then that Junko had found a likeness to an old friend named Michiko in whom she hasn't seen in years now of course. Someone of the Metal Clan. Its been rumored that that clan has fall apart do to their incredible powers somehow, vanishing. And overnight they would find themselves to no longer have a metal body, but one of a normal humans. In the end Michiko was always a Hyuuga and an Aburame, but it metal suited her. Junko always had a slight crush on that girl, even if she was a bit mean sometimes. Well...at least to others. She was nice to Junko , they went on a couple ANBU missions together. It was fun. She is not cure if Michiko is dead or not now. She has yet to have seen any trace of her since she and her sister left to go find themselves.
It was hard though. When Junko found out her mentor Jin had died on a mission she was depressed for weeks. He never would have gotten to see how much she has changed. To find out she was a Mabuki, let alone a Neko. It would explain her feline tendencies though when she was younger. She was always the troublemaker of the two twins, but Jin liked that about her because she was a challenge. Kerumu, whom was Fumiko's teacher held the funeral for Jin, and didn't let it happen until Junko had returned to be there.
It was a very sad day honestly. Junko wouldn't know that Kerumu was now an Jounin Commander, and worked in the ANBU. So in short she was so busy she might not get to see her very often, or at all really. So in the lime light. With all of this upheaval and anguish going on, Krystal was her only friend right now. She has yet reason to truthfully trust the 5th Tsuchikage Hiroji Uchiha. He was a Uchiha, sent to erase the mockery the Hyuuga Clan put on Stone due to Godric's actions. So in all hopes. Junko was praying that Hiroji was doing something right. By help her, if not Junko would damn well do it herself...
