(Part 2)
Not considering this a cause for celebration at all, he knew full well that understanding such things about a potential enemy only mattered if he had a remote level of skill as a Shinobi, enough to make use of the weakness he had seen. All of this made his training that much more important, which was why he wasn't spending his free time doing nothing and just laying around. It was why he slept short nights and got up early and went to bed late, all so he could study and train to become the best version of himself there was.
While he thought, he had already found the next large rock at the point where the river ended up in the open waters around the land of fang. Shattering one rock after the other, it went without saying that he had progressed quite a bit, and that his water related ninjutsu were ready to be used in the exams without him having to really worry about it. Using one jutsu after the other in order to cause as much destruction as possible, he did make an attempt at keeping it contained. He did not want to inflict any damage upon the homes of animals, nor to the animals themselves.
By the time he was done, many of the larger rocks had been beaten down into fragments of their original size, his jutsu having been enough to deal at least that much damage on impact. Looking over the damage he had done, he felt somewhat more confident regarding the exam now that his water release was at least beyond that of the average Genin. Leaving this particular brand of training for what it was, he felt that it was time to place some more focus on his weaponry use and getting it remotely close to his water mastery. If he could do that, the exams would be a walk in the park. But that was something for later. For now, he could do to add just a bit more to his arsenal.
