Pulling Away
Rank: "C"
Skill: TaiJutsu
Effect: A technique used in which the user measures an attack's length, and pulls away by bending their back backwards allowing to be used for counter attacks, or just simply an evasion.
Special: ---
Drawback: If a user is unable to predict the length of an attack, the user could very well get hit by an attack.
Description: Picture The opponent makes an attacked such as a straight, or a hook. The attack must be a mid straight or under over attack such as an uppercut. An over under attack such as the overhand punch will work against the pulling away. For those types of attacks it is best to slip inside or outside an attack. When an opponent attacks the user bends backwards away from the attack or steps back away from an attack. This defense is great against overreaching attacks. When the opponent makes his mark the user must determine the length of the attack. Once determined they are able to dodge the attack by doing what was stated earlier.
Limit: Must learn in a gym that teaches Bokushingu (Boxing), Must know Upright Stance or Semi-Crouch

Jai threw his hands up once again and began to dance lightly on his toes once more. He was getting quite tired from the training today, but it was worth it. He could be spending the day quacking off as usual but he decided to be of more use for once in his life. He threw a few jab's trying to find the rhythm once again, but it wasn't easy his shoulder's where burning and screaming for him to call it a day. He shrugged it off and held the straight stance, straining his back muscles some.
He leaned back and held his guard up. Trying to get used to putting the strain on his rear leg and lightly planting the other in order to propel forward and backwards in a bobbing motion better. His core abdominal's, as well as his rib muscles, seemed to work well enough, along with his back muscles. He went through the motion's seeing if his balance would hold and found he had to slightly bend his leg's for it to work best.
He weaved inwards and outwards and threw a quick jab after a few moment's of this to see how it felt. Something popped in his back and he found that his spine sort of tingled as if something re-arranged there. He shook his head and twisted side to side trying to make sure that his core and back where alright. He stretched some to make sure he was alright and then throwing it away from his mind he went back to the straight stance once again. He threw a punch forward and then back he went into a recline so that he looked down his nose and chest.
He had no idea his body was this flexible.
