The pink feline glanced upwards. Due to his tall height, Nyx would be able to jump from rooftop to rooftop with little issue. As for the creature, as agile as he was, his far shorter height left him with a handicap. Grimacing, he jumped onto Nyx’s shoulder. The jacket he wore as a cloak draped over Nyx’s right shoulder like a half cape. “When you get there, you can ask me because I’m not letting you do all the hero work alone.” Scoffing, the feline gripped onto Nyx’s shirt to ensure he wouldn’t fall. “Once in, we will need to knock out the guards at the entrance and enter. There won’t be a way around that. The guards never leave the entrance except during lunch… And we have no time to wait.”
The creature glanced down at Nyx with a concerned expression. “Say… Are you okay?” Nyx would notice a problem. The intensely warm temperatures were causing Nyx to sweat. As the weather switched to intense cold, the sweat froze and left a layer of frost over the teen’s body. As well as the weight of the feline on his shoulder, the frost seemed to be debilitating his movements. He’d have to be careful before starting any major battles. However, due to his quick thinking, by utilising the rooftops the duo ended up reaching the palace with no major issues. It seemed like a grand structure. Solid gold spirals, stained glass windows and a grand gate that depicted images of various creatures. Everything around it looked warped and distorted. The palace did too, of course. However, not as desolate. While everything around it looked disturbing, the palace itself looked grand. Where moss had begun to grow out of other structures, jewels and crystal grew out the palace in a magnificent fashion. Nyx noticed he could jump from the rooftop and scale the palaces walls, but from this angle there seemed to be no obvious way inside other than to shatter one of the windows and force his way in. Below, there appeared to be two soldiers with spears perched on either side of the gates. They appeared bored and conversing with each other.
