Hello, new members of Naruto NFRP or those looking for a change in their village. I am known as TechCaptain Out of Character. In Character, One of my Characters is Spectre of the Falls. He is the current Takikage. As leader of the The Village of Waterfalls, the village has become a shadowed existence. The once radiant falls leave a mist that persists and the area has become prone to dark rumors. As you see the Cursed Kuroki Kenzoburo who no one has ever seen his face of is now Kage. All that is truly known of him was that he was the caretaker of the graveyard and cliff side near it for years.
The village itself was known to have many Shinobi of unusual looks and abilities. Over the years it became known as the Shinobi Village of Monsters. Necromancers, Shapeshifters, Half-Dead Liches, Vampires, Wire-Werewolves, Harpies, and other types of monsters were seen as shinobi of this village. Currently the plot of the village is centering around the disappearance of several Chunnin and Jonin as well as two former Kages. If you want to hit me up feel free to PM me or catch me in the C-box. As a player I am fairly active on several characters.
Takigakure has several places that are fun to explore like the Huanted Falls, which is Spectre's nominal home and a place where the souls of the departed stay. Taki-Tower is where most business is taken care of. Evil/Good or whatever you are meet the Lich King of the village and figure out the mystery of the disappearances.
Otogakure Village of Sound Whispers and Echoes for the Throne
The Sound Village is a currently ruled by a child. Of course, this sounds unrealistic, and that’s because it is. After the disappearance of the previous Otokage, Brianne Ardinal was chosen and elevated to the purple. The Council—responsible for putting a leader in place—decided on a young lady, because doing so allowed them to indirectly rule the most profitable parts of the village.
Brianne—preferring to be called “Bree” by her friends—is not unwise. She is reasonable and kind. In terms of policy and representation, she spends her time maintaining the peace and safety of her village. However, her best efforts are not enough, and she always aches for leisurely freedom. It’s hard to rule.
Bree surrounded herself with companions she trusts, and continues to seek others to join her. She is painfully aware that she is dragging along more weights than she should be able to handle. Bree seeks help, and the people she meets will likely determine the future of Otogakure. She hopes that she can gather an inner circle that, efforts combined, can far surpass any previous ruler.
The Council has many contracts and deals in place with established corporations. They appeal to the greed of the citizens, and can make good on their promise to fill wallets with ryo. Their buildings are guarded with the finest mercenaries money can buy. Their information is hidden with top grade encryption. Each member is wealthy beyond belief, and their identities are made secret thanks to the presence of Brianne as their young figurehead.
Also notable in Otogakure is the catacombs—home to artifacts, supernatural creatures, and underworld brokers. Though these agents in the shadow are not interconnected, they are responsible for the majority of illegal activity in the village. Even with the promise of riches that the Council provides and the peaceful lives the Otokage defends, there is always a market for vengeance, power, and sin.
Players in Otogakure may align themselves with one of the three major factions and play out their storylines. With enough effort, the political climate will shift, and new events will play out at the climaxes of these newfound plot narratives. The rewards that result from these events will make future village endeavors even easier.
Kirigakure No Sato - The Village Hidden In The Mist
[Also known as "the bloody mist", a reference to its infamous genin trials which require potential shinobi to ruthlessly slaughter all of their classmates; this cultural tradition is still in practice today.]
Village Motto: "mors ab mare" "Death from the Sea"
Mizu no Kuni (The Land of Water) acts as the mainland for the smaller nearby islands, and collectively they make up the continent of Thales, also known as the Water Archipelago. Despite being the smallest of the great nations Mizu no Kunai has managed to establish a position as one of the most brutal places on earth. This is partly due to the natural terrain and the difficulties that the Hazian people have had to endure because of it: vast lakes and swamps cover the majority of the island, limiting the application of agriculture. As a result, the island's inhabitants have traditionally either hunted, fished, or raided other islands for food and resources. The latter of which is aided by the perpetual mist that wraps the country, from which the village draws its name.
Eventually, these small tribes banded together to form larger naval forces to vie for control of the seas, this lead to the rise of the great sea lords and eventually Kirigakure No Sato in what had been a neutral area. The influence of these sea lords and long-standing Martine traditions are still reflected in the village today, whether it is the architecture—many of the village's structures are fashioned from old boats—or the act of killing everyone in your class to graduate to the rank of genin—a means settling inter-house rivalries.
As a result, academy students and their families approach their education with a sense of vigour, a stark contrast to some of the more lackadaisical view held by the peace-loving nations. The merciless nature of its training requirements and expectations far exceeds what is demanded by the other ninja lands, and this has caused Kirigakure's shinobi population to be especially battle hardened. The village's motto, "Death from the Sea", is often used as slang to either confirm the acceptance of a difficult task or to communicate solidarity with another person's resolve or intentions.
The village is led by the enigmatic Kraken Lord Yoko Taro, a Jōnin hailed as the stealthiest in history by her countrymen. The title itself is a unique one bestowed upon the acting Mizukage to reflect the village's beginnings as a confederation of sea lords. Only when the acting Mizukage gains the support of all three sea lord fractions can their position be ratified, by way of assigning a number to their position, in this case, Yoko would become the Rokudaime Mizukage. This rule has been the source of much contention within the country, with many battles breaking out for the seat of power.
Most recently between Hyobe Kaguya, a kage candidate supported by the Eteoclus sea lord and a terrorist group called Hazian who claimed to represent the will of the people they drew their name from. It was in the ensuing battle that the Mizukage disappeared only to be quickly replaced by a shinobi called "Moon" who for a time held the support of the Hippomedon Sea lord's family, leading many to believe that they were supporters of the terrorist group that had seized power. However, the civil war was not to last forever, and within less than six months the rebellion (as it is now know) was quashed. This internal fighting considerably weakened the fighting strength of the respective sea lords and depleted their followers within the hidden village.
In the wake of this civil war, a new Mizukage was appointed who held the position for little more than a year. While an official reason has not been given as to why they resigned the popular view is because they lacked the support of any of the great houses, instead they had managed to come to power through their existing position. The combination of weakened forces and failing leadership saw the rise to the current Kraken Lord, who has ushered in a time of financial prosperity and discovery, always pushing her forces to become more powerful. Alas, despite these achievements and the support of the Parthenopeus families she has still yet to unify the entire island.
In a fight, no potential opponent is feared more than a shinobi of Kirigakure no Sato. This drives its military forces to each seek out becoming the consummate master of their own particular talent and has turned the village into a city of the specialized, with each of its ninjas purportedly perfecting a unique skill.
It is by this acquisition of specialized skill that a Kirigakure shinobi earns their village-wide epithet, their namesake and shinobi persona. It is also commonplace for Kirigakure shinobi to file their teeth into sharp shark-like points, an ancient cultural tradition now treated like a ceremony in honour of academy graduation. It is advised for those unfamiliar with the rigours of constant battle to avoid this fog covered privateer metropolis, and to flee its advanced shinobi forces on sight.

Village Alliances: It is the way of the denizens of the Hidden Mist to remain neutral with all other ninja nations, and to shy away from making definite deals or alliances in the long term. In the interest of some global catastrophe, they can possibly be persuaded to temporarily ally with others, but these instances occur incredibly infrequently at best. They are known to be removed from the greater conflicts of the world, and to be all but indifferent to the struggles of outsiders.

Kumogakure no Sato.
The mysterious village in the skies.
Kumogakure no Sato is the second northernmost shinobi village. It is located high in the mountains close to heaven. Said mountains are surrounded by thick pine forests. In these forests, there are several wild animals. Furthermore, the weather can change within the snap of a finger. This village is not for shinobis who dislike wildlife or the elements.
Every Kumogakure shinobi is told that “the sky is the limit” at the shinobi academy. The sword masters and teachers can confirm that. Everyone living in Kumogakure no Sato can access these teachers or sword masters. The Kumogakure shinobis are no strangers to improving their skills or craft. Speaking of craft…Kumogakure has recently become a hub for craftsmen and women. Weapon smiths, puppet makers plus herbalists are common here.
If you’re not a craftsman, you may find a clan to join. Many clans have representatives in Kumogakure no Sato. Kaishin, Hyuuga, Nara, Kazeraikou and Sakurai have members in this village. The current Raikage comes from a shinobi clan as well. Diversity is an advantage if you want to stay here. The more unique or diverse your skillset is, the better.
Marii K. Kazeraikou has been the Raikage for the last four years. She is one of the oldest kages with a lot of experience. Marii is no stranger to raiton, geography, suiton, history, fuuton or languages. Her main goal is to improve their international relations. Especially since the restoration of Kumogakure has isolated them for five years.
This restoration has forced the village to improve their facilities. Firstly, Kumogakure has updated their knowledge center to educate their citizens. Medics plus veterinarians can practise their skills at Kikaijinsei hospital. The latter was constructed by the former Raikage Kotomi Inohara. She was a medic who wanted to improve the health care system.
Another facility is the battle dome. The dome is often used by Chuunin exam candidates or teams. Shinobis can face each other or wild animals in this dome. Last, but certainly not least, is the fully funded dojang. All Kumogakure shinobis can train here. Said dojang was created by some of their own shinobis.
This village is all about expanding the horizon. Do you want to join a village that is close enough to touch the heavens?
Let me be the first person to thank you for coming in and checking us out. Whether you are new to role playing or you are a veteran let me be the first to wish you a welcome. Firstly, I'd invite you to check out our community. We do have a Chatbox on the site! make an account and come say hello!
A little about us. NFRP is a TWELVE YEAR OLD role playing site based in the naruto/boruto universe. We are non cannon, which means the characters from the anime are not present here on our site. What that means is that upon character creation the world itself is what you, your friends and your fellow role players create. Twelve years is a long time and a lot of what you are walking into are the results of 12 years of site changes, player interactions and a dedicated community here on the site. As a whole the site has grown to incorporate massive systems, new bloodlimits and clans, new organizations of monster hunters or covens of witches, many of which borrow from other universes like the witcher, fairy tale, soul eater. Hundreds of flushed out undead and animals of mundane and magical properties roam the land for your interaction and story telling. Plants both magical and mundane can be found and distilled into powerful weapons and remedies. The site is constantly growing and expanding, moves and techniques are constantly added and tweaked by our staff team.
Like most games we have a handbook, It's comprehensive and pretty streamlined but it's dense just because we have so much to offer. It's hard to accumulate 12 years worth of additions and alterations into a 1 page document. Do not feel like you need to understand the entire handbook to get started. Get through character creation and learn as you go. Think of it like starting a brand new RPG for the first time. A lot of the mechanics and crafting are generally not introduced to the player until they are already got a strong stride going. If you enjoy a traditional pen and paper roleplay experience we have the systems to satisfy you and if you are someone that prefers to have everything done a little bit more casually we have systems that are simple enough to be picked up and learned on the go.
Most people ask what village is the most active, what plots are going on in each of the villages, who's allied with who? The honest answer is that leadership in villages are unique. Some Kage will run a village without getting dethroned for years at a time. Others only last a few months before their rule comes crashing down around them. Activity comes and goes but the general trend is that if you are active, activity will find you. I impore you to explore the villages and find the one that best suits what you are trying to get involved with your character. I'm going to invite the kages of each village to leave a short snippet about their village here to help give you an idea of where to start looking. If you are not sold on the idea of being a ninja you can also elect to be a 'non-ninja'. A player who owes no allegiance to a ninja village. A traveling sellsword, merchant, bartender, bard or anything you can imagine within our systems. By and large most players despite being from different villages, tend to Rp and do missions and events with other ninja and non ninja alike.
My name is Snowflake or snow and I'm the current Kazekage. My character is Shiki Senri, the white wolf. A monster hunter like his faceclaim, originally from the village hidden in the clouds. More likely to walk into the enemy with his chin held high and his sword in hand than skulk in the shadows with a dagger. Shiki is confrontational and maladjusted to diplomacy. My character retired from life as a ninja at the rank of jounin from the village hidden in the clouds and was asked by the now former kazekage to join the village hidden in the sand. Promoted to Jounin Commander by taking out a fortress full of mercenary ninja and rescuing hostages single handedly he was promoted to kazekage after the acting Kage came down with a terrible illness. Many view my character as an outsider and many view him as a traitor due to his roots not being from the land of wind. Controversy always seems to surrounded him given his immense power and wealth put him beyond the control of others. With a personal wealth beyond that of most villages and a level of chakra matching that of a Jinchuriki. Shiki cares for no ones opinion but his wife's and his worldview is that power confers the right to rule. The strongest have the burden of leading the weak and all those who would seek to shackle you with rules are those who assume strength over you.
Sunagakure is ruled on that philosophy and those with ambition can find its possibilities endless. Leadership roles and roles in Shiki's cabinet are earned through adversity and any holding the position means one must be willing to defend their position with combat to keep hold their status against any who challenge them. Even the title of kage can be earned by defeating the Kazekage. We are a village that aim to be the strongest not to conquer but to be the ones that set the rules of engagement. It is the destiny of the weak to be devoured by the strong and we have no desire to have our fates dictated by another. We have no desire to meddle in the affairs of world politics and no desire to control those that lie outside our sands. Ever watchful, ever vigilant and if we are forced to be forced into combat, we shall do so violently and salt the earth behind us. There is nothing we prize beyond freedom. As such we have a strong emphasis on our Anbu and military professionalism. We understand that our sweat in the training field is the difference between your own blood or your enemies that would run rivers across the sands. There is no closer kinship then those who spill blood together, who fight and die for one another and who push themselves to their own personal peaks for those worth sacrificing for. If my village is to be known for anything let it be known as the village who except no excuses for themselves.
Out of character I am very active, a moderator and a mentor for those with ideas and plans for their characters. If you have specific plot ideas you'd like to incorporate feel free to reach out to me so we can discuss setting up your character in our village.

Snow Village Introduction Greetings newcomers! Here on NFRP there are many options one may take in order to fulfill tons of role-playing desires. With the established non-canon universe we have here there are multiple places that are available for use as well for all types of characters. One of these many places is Yukigakure, or for easier terms: The Hidden Village of Snow.
Yukigakure is one of the ten ninja villages that Ninja and Non-ninja characters created on NFRP can be apart of and roleplay in. As its kage I am more than happy to give some insight on what could be expected as well looked into in regards to role-playing in Yuki no Kuni, and Yukigakure itself.
Obviously one of the main things about ninja villages besides: Missions, Shinobi/Kunoichi, and Conflict is of course the person in office. As the kage of Snow I'll take responsibly in introducing myself and my character. I take pride in creating content for people to take part in, so one of my main goals is to make sure anyone who joins the village let alone affiliates with it in some way, are accounted for in anyway possible.
If there is roleplay to be had, then there will be roleplay to be done. I am open to ideas and willing to share plot points in the hoping of creating some good stories and moments here on site. I am a big advocate of creating a universe in character rather than just moving things around based on out of character desires and needs, so based on what the current events are can effect how the in character universe is at least as far as Yuki no Kuni and Yukigakure are concerned.
As for my character she has plenty of roles to play as of lately, and although it may not hold all the information I trust that a good general bit can be looked over in her biography provided by the link above. However in regards to Yukigakure here are some links to useful and informative threads below dealing with the village:
