It had been a while since Iyami had been out of the village, the amount of work he had to do regarding the karinui clan had increased exponentially in the last few months and it was getting to be quite the drag. With him finaly having a day off he decided to take to the country side and enjoy the land of rice paddies in it's natural beauty. Donning his sound head band on the side of his spiky black hair, he proudly showed off the scar across his face. While most of his body was bandaged underneath the black tunic and 3/4 length shorts, he had stitched into his clothing and onto his body 20 spools total of silk thread, and on his back a custom barrel of iron sand which thanks to his mastery felt as light as air. Within most of his pockets, special augmentations had been performed to fit more of the iron sand, topping up the amount that usually hid within his body or inside of the barrel.

As he walked about the paths looking over the staggered rice fields, the crunch of dirt underneath his foot wear, a few kikaichu beetles would nip out flying into the air around him before returning to the cocoon and nest they made of his body. As a gentle pitter patter of rain began to fall from the sky, Iyami pulled his cloak around him protecting the painting supplies, inks brushes and scrolls which slotted within the cloak pockets. He wasn't too sure about what was going on outside the village as of late, but he wanted to make sure he was prepared for it no matter what.

Standing by the shoreline, Hamura was looking out across the ocean. Up in the distance to the north was where the land of wind was, the place where he learned quite a bit about what it meant to be a shinobi. These days however, he spent his time within the Hallow, a place that now served as his current home away from home, if one could call it that. Being the nomad that he was, he never really got a new home after he had left the land of lightning behind, something he wouldn't really complain about either. He liked being outside, and given his naturalistic skillset, he had no trouble finding food, figuring out where to go or telling whether he needed to find shelter on account of incoming rain.

Still, the fact that Loki and Jormungandr had allowed him to sleep in their home while they awaited how things would be going for him in the institute had been nothing short of kind, just like how he had been allowed to borrow some clothing as he hadn't brought any of his own. As a fresh student at the institute, there were a lot of things that he was looking forward to, though there was something that kept him from settling down in the dorms today. Due to a bunch of thoughts in his mind causing a lot of restlessness in the rest of his body, he had taken himself out for a stroll that took him out of the Hallow, away from civilization and up to the shore. Though escaping civilization was quite hard on an island that was such a well known vacation spot, he figured he had done a decent job at it.

Part of what had made him rather restless was something that had happened roughly two years ago, back when he was still but a ten year old boy. At the time, he had experienced how a great deal of strange event had transpired within a rather small area. For whatever reason, people had been coming to the same location, as if drawn there by some strange force, which only seemed to further amplify the amount of strange things that were taking place there. From what he could recall, that whole business had happened exactly two years ago today, and that bugged him. A week or two ago, something similar had happened that caused undead forces to rise up and become far more active in certain portions of the world too.

Hoping that things would not transpire again, least of all this close to one another, he deemed it best to prepare for the worst. But as he was starting to fear the worst, it was as if the ground suddenly got swept away from under his feet as he started falling down. Watching as the shoreline disappeared right before his eyes, he suddenly found himself within what seemed like various large rice fields. Looking around as to orient himself, he saw but only one person, but did not want to draw any attention to himself before he had an idea as to where he was. Luckily for him, he had at least one of his pouches on him, complete with a few kunai, shuriken, smoke pellets and his trusty old Tanto. So if things took a turn for the worse, at least he had some tools on him to unfuck things.

Hitora was walking through Konoha, it was a beautiful day like any other, the young Shinobi was wearing a simple pair of pants as well as a gray short sleeve tee-shirt. On his feet were simple combat style boots that were well laced. He yawned as it was still early for him, having a rare day off without any missions or training. His black orbs danced around a bit as he looked around, wondering just what was going to happen today to make it interesting, after all when the day is as quiet as it is currently something interesting is bound to happen.

It was just then that the portal opened up below his very feet, suddenly he found himself falling, a voiceless scream emitting from his mouth as he tumbled through the blackness. Suddenly though he found himself falling a short distance to the ground, into some rice paddies. Slowly standing up, the man shook his now soaked hair as he saw two others near him. Sighing a bit he was reminded of a time something like this had happened back when he was still a hidden rain ninja. Hitora reached into his pocket and made sure his leaf headband was still there in case he needed it.

Hitora slowly started approaching the two of them and waved his right hand to get their attention “Hey fellas! Either of you know where the fuck I am right now? I sorta...took a wrong step and ended up here in this rice paddy…” Hitora then slowly stepped out of the rice paddy he had found himself in and shook as much water off of himself as he could.

When you throw a tanglefoot bag at a creature, the bag comes apart and goo bursts out, entangling the target and then becoming tough and resilient upon exposure to air. If they are hit completely they will be glued to the floor, unable to move. Even if they are not hit completely they will lose half of their movements to what was hit. These pouches release resin in a 2-meter diameter. A flying creature is not stuck to the floor, but if they are hit along the wing they will fall to the ground unable to fly. Iyami turned as he heard the splash in the water. Something or someone was here. While he scanned the environment, Iyami's eyes caught the glint of metal falling through the air... well less falling and more flying directly at his face. In a defensive reaction he ducked and windmilled round keeping one leg on the floor and bringing the other up and over his head rotating his body so that the projectile would miss him. From there a pocket of iron sand would evacuate and encase the flying projectile catching it and bringing it back to Iyami to investigate. It was a pen.... A well made and very fancy pen, but a pen none the less.

Keeping the pen secured in his iron sand, Iyami turned to where he heard the splashing before hand. "Is this your work?" his voice held authority but still respect, if he could avoid a fight right now he would. While he was awaiting a reply a voice chimed in from an alternate direction, turning he would see a soaked chap with black hair and fairly standard gear. "You're in the Land of Rice Paddies, the Land of Sound. Who are you, and are you the one who threw his pen at me?"

When someone called out to him and asked him whether this was his doing or not, Hamura remained quiet, still trying to orient himself while still keeping the other man's presence in mind. It seemed so hard to believe that what had happened to him two years ago had happened again, but worse. This time, he was the one that had been displaced through space and ended up somewhere else entirely. What with the whole event that had transpired in an old Telmarian settlement that sent him to an odd dimension roughly six months ago, getting teleported by Loki and now this whole business, he had more or less seen enough of the whole time and space shtick.

When yet another person came in the same way he did, but less gracefully in terms of landing, he figured that this person had suffered the same stroke of bad luck as he did. Immediately after he got up and looked around, he started talking to them and cussing about how he had no idea where he was. Wondering whether this guy was a shinobi at all, which he figured he wasn't due to the way he drew all this attention to himself straight away, it turned out the other guy was all too willing to respond. Claiming that they were now in the land of Sound, a place known for their rice paddies, Hamura shrugged deeply, barely even hearing the question regarding the pen being thrown at him and whether or not it had been the doing of the soaked man.

Luckily for him, there was nothing wrong with his hearing, and things that happened within this distance would not be missed by his ears. Walking away from the watery soil and onto solid ground, he did not want to ruin the farmland here, knowing how tough it could be as a farmer. As he stepped out, he noticed several peculiar canisters. Opening one up a bit to catch a whiff of the contents, he quickly closed it back up as the scent was rather hard on the nose. Taking them with him none the less, he let his presence be known. Or rather, he let the others know that he was not deaf or incapable of speaking.

As Iyami gave his speech about being in the Land of Sound, he noticed in the background some triumphant music playing. It was oddly good timing as the fan fare landed on the lands name giving the beautiful land a more majestic feel to it. Once the awe of the perfectly timed music wore off he turned to see the small holodisc, being made of metal he let his chakra elevate the disc as he turned it thrice in hand before switching it off. "I am afraid not young shinobi." Iyami stated as he turned to face Hamura. Iyami's own observational skills allowed him to pick out the shinobi and the feel of Hamura's metal gear inside the magnetic pull that his bloodline let him control. "Welcome to the Land of Sound, May I ask what it is you are both doing here?" Iyami sent the holodisk over to the floating pile of iron sand which held the pen aloft. What else was he going to find out here.

Can I get a bag of rice?

As Hitora fully got out of the rice paddy a strange man came out of nowhere all of a sudden, shoving a strange bag into his stomach saying something about his crush. The man was then gone just as fast as he had appeared. Attaching the waist pack to his belt at the small of his back he already knew what was in it, he could feel the grenade’s silhouette’s through the bag itself. It was then he noticed that one of the men had began to talk at him, asking if he had thrown a pen at him.

Hitora was a bit dumbfounded, he did not even carry a pen on him and shook his head a bit “No friend, I didn’t throw a pen or anything at you, I just...came here to this strange place that you’re claiming is the land of sound, specifically the land of rice paddies… which looking around seems pretty accurate I’d imagine.” To emphasize his point, the Uchiha physically turned his head a bit as if miming that he was looking around as he started towards the man. He was cautious but had no reason yet to activate his Sharingan and prepare himself for a fight he supposed.

Extending his hand to the one that had bothered to speak up so far he put on a smile and said “ Name’s Shigaraku, whats yours?” To any who already knew Hitora it was an obvious lie, but he knew that by now the hidden rain likely was hunting him, and since he was not in the hidden leaf doing what he could to keep his identity a secret was paramount.

The other shinobi made his way forward, this one had been a lot more forth right from the get go compared to the other, could he be less experienced than the other, or maybe arrogant and over confident. He couldn't tell where the other shinobi were from just yet but Iyami had his Sound headband proudly displayed on his head. "If it wasn't either of you, how did such a pristine pen fly with such accuracy at me then?" with a raised eyebrow Iyami was genuinely perplexed, he had heard tale of strange item fluctuations in space and time previously but it was not a phenomenon he had personally dealt with before. Being snapped out of his thoughts by the shinobi introducing himself, Iyami had his suspicions because it was a stranger in his land but he was confident and happy to introduce himself "I am Iyami of the Karinui, Sound Shinobi."

It happened again, while talking the fan fare and triumphant music sputtered into existence as he declared who he was. Turning his head to find a second holodisc, Iyami didn't take let his attention falter from the two new shinobi he had just come across. Using his chakra to move the disk once more, it was added to his collection.

THE LIGHT! IT BURNS!

Hitora smiled when he heard the music from some unknown source being played but before he could start to investigate it at all a blinding light appeared from nowhere, he was of course affected by it like anyone else would have been. The light was thankfully not there for very long, it took a few moments before he snapped out of the blindness with his vision being somewhat restored shortly after. It was then that he noticed the bottle on the ground, picking it up he knew this would come in handy at some point in the future.

Just before the light had blinded him the man he approached had introduced himself as well as asked how the pen got launched at him. With a slight shrug of his shoulders Hitora looked around “Maybe there is a famous guy around here and his fans are rabid as can be? Who knows, but if that pen is as nice as you say...finders keepers.” Hitora then smiled a bit, admiring his own admittedly bad joke.

Seeing a pair of flashes happen infront of the shinobi who was currently conversing with him, Iyami took a few steps back out of precaution, if the two people were on a team he would be outnumbered, but hopefully not out gunned. While stepping back a familiar cloth came down landing on Iyami's head. Reaching up and pulling it down he inspected the garment before looking up and around. It was a dress, but not any dress, it was one of the standard dresses he and his kinsfolk had made. Folding up the dress neatly, the fabric began to float over and land ontop of the iron sand pile he was starting to build up. "Famous or not, this is a weird amount of items spawning and appearing over the place. Have you ever encountered this before, I heard tale of it but I haven't been out in the country while it was occuring."

Hitora was a bit freaked out by the sudden appearance of the ghostly figure but before he could react further it placed down a bottle of some liquid and disappeared. Picking it up and placing it in the bag with the other one he got just moments ago he looked at the other man. “Yeah, a while back this happened to me, but its been a while, I thought I was going crazy back then too...but it seems to be pretty normal every couple years for this to happen now...” Hitora gave a small shrug of his shoulders wondering what all would happen.

Although his senses were telling him that the guy was lying about who he was, he figured he would let that go for now as it was not really pressing to him. Either way, he didn't really care. Listening to the two as they spoke about pens and how someone had thrown it at him, it was almost as if all of this was new to them. Suddenly feeling as if his pocket had gotten heavier and bigger, he carefully reached into it to find a large volume of senbon in them. Probably yet another something that happened due to the strange events transpiring around them, he decided to keep them as there was never really a shortage of weapons in the arsenal of a shinobi.

"This isn't the first time this had happened to me either, though last time, objects and items appearing was just about the least of your worries. Aside from people being pulled from their little section of the world, it did the same to creatures. If lucky, you'd see a single wild dog, but if you weren't, you'd suddenly encounter a giant scorpion that popped right out of nowhere and got up in your face."

Being glad that they were finally moving away from the subject of that damned pen, he figured he'd take the lead in guiding the direction this conversation was headed into. In spite of clearly being the youngest of the people present, he couldn't really say that he was intimidated by the others. Since everyone was currently still being fairly friendly and cooperative, Hamura started to wonder how he would be getting out of here and back to the Hallow. After all, he was supposed to be getting ready for his classes at the institute. For the time being, he would remain docile, at least up until the moment where he had to become something else.

Iyami looked over the young shinobi, he seemed to be very powerful for his age, class wise seemed to be on par with himself. Young shinobi these days were changing, becoming a lot stronger a lot younger... was this good, or was this bad. Sound had better keep up. As he reached down into his pockets to pull out one of his ink brushes, his hand fondled some balls which he didn't know were there. Pulling them out, he found 15 smoke bombs, he had never purchased smoke bombs before and could only put this down to what was happening with the other items. Tossing them gently to the iron sand cloud he was using to maintain the elevation Iyami kept watch trying to figure out what the others were going to receive

Hitora blinked a bit as the man in the dark cloak suddenly handed him a pair of what seemed like Masterwork short swords. He was surprised but he knew that at this point there was likely nothing to do other than accept the weapons. As he placed the two swords into his belt the man disappeared as quickly as he had appeared before the Uchiha. It was then that the third man had spoken up and said he had been through a similar event as this in the past as well, but he had been bothered by beasts of varying natures.

“Well...that sounds shitty, all we can do is hope that such things do not happen this time, that we are left alone by such horrid luck.” Hitora let himself smile a bit, an attempt at disarming the other two hoping to get some kind of information out of them, after all he was still a Shinobi so gathering information was paramount in situations such as this.

Though the responses from these men were more or less what he had expected them to be, he had figured there would be a bit more hostility, especially since all of those present here were clearly shinobi. Though the others probably had a few years of experience that equaled his total age, he figured they did not have his perseverance. While most would underestimate him due to his small statute and young age, he wasn't the kind of person who allowed himself to easily be shoved around, which often put him in some rather prickly situations. As it turned out, today's situation would not be all that different as there was something he had let slide at first, but decided to come back to now that everyone had adjusted to the kind of situation that they were dealing with at this point in time.

"But where are my manners, my name is Hamura, pleased to make your acquaintance Iyami. Since you're one of the local shinobi, I take it that means that the other guy and I are technically trespassing here. Which reminds me, what did you say your name was again?"

After addressing Iyami and inquiring on the status of things as they were apparently in the land of Sound, he turned his attention back to the one that had seemingly made the less fortunate portal leap straight into a rice paddy. Not really wanting to start any trouble when in a foreign land, especially not if it was the kind of trouble he could not get himself out of, there was something he wanted to straighten out before things progressed any further. How things continued from that point onward was entirely up to the other two.
