Flower Buds in a Sacred Place [Event|Private]
Titan of Stone
[Kuroi Enter.]
It had been a success, although Kuroi's mind did not venture anywhere near the journey that Krystal and Valerys had gone upon. Still, from somewhere deep inside Valerys was complimenting herself on acquiring an ally in this place. Perhaps this time it would last... unlike with the others. Passing through the gates was relatively easy for her, and Krystal who possessed similar abilities, and Valerys used Kuroi as a mask to appear like a regular (if not, particularly beautiful) citizen of this religious village. She had long blonde hair that braided on her left and right sides held up with black hairties. Her eyes were now a light blue color and she had a choker around her neck -- an interesting feature. she wore a black sweatshirt with white patterns, odd here in the middle of the desert, and a pink skirt. Her messenger pack was hung over her left shoulder and had a mechanically-folded spear, called Bitter Mercy, as well as two spring razors, an LED flashlight, and two kunai tucked away neatly inside. There was a jar as well that contained seven pieces of clear, crystal quartz.
When the two of them had passed the gate some distance and fell down an alley, of which Kuroi seemed to be the only one aware, she would turn to Krystal (assuming that she was still coming with her) and say, "Mmm, how nice to be free of the rest of the world and be here where no one knows our names." She'd lean in for a kiss, the sun now beginning to rise as it became early morning. They would have traveled throughout the night. Yet many of the city were already awake, many of them women, and singing could be heard from the occasional temple.
After a short introduction around Sukuinushi, and an appropriate time to readjust themselves, the two would end up in the same alleyway looking at the sun after it had passed some distance from its zenith. Although an hour or two before sunset, the light would begin to dim before long and Kuroi knew that a job needed to be done. Valerys' constant watch from the confines of her psyche both pleased and disturbed her, with a rush of fading self-restraint. She looked eagerly down the alley and said, to her beloved, "We are ready, then? Our first mission together -- it's actually kind of romantic~"
