It was midday, the sun was high and the heat was a bit overbearing. The summers of Konohagakure were always like this. My tongue clicked with annoyance. I was bored. I wanted fun. I was up in a tree, sitting on a limb, one leg resting on a branch, other swaying softly off of it. My mind began to wonder on what I could do to alleviate the boredom that was eating me alive. Lady luck was on my side today. I saw some random guy walk towards the fields I was in. No. I wasn’t just a random guy. It was Big G.
Big G was notorious in the red light district. The amount of women and men he had under his thumbs was staggering. A grin slowly formed on my face as my eyes widen in fascination. No one would care if this man went missing for a few hours. Hell, i’m sure no one would mind if he accidently died. The man was about 30 meters away from my position. It was perfect. I positioned myself, perched on the branch that I was on. I weaved through handseals and sent my chakra into Big G. I knew it had hit. The man’s body visibly shivered. The man would be experiencing his insecurities and fears slowly blooming into reality. I saw him jerk and jump frantically. Screaming at the air. I always wonder what my victims see. I want to know what makes them afraid.
I jumped down from the tree I was on and began to stalk my prey. Big G was so occupied by his latent phantasms of his fears that he didn’t even notice me creeping behind him. I slowly creeped up to his head and said “Run” in a whispering tone. Big G screamed in fright and darted off in the opposite direction from me. I cackled loudly as the man ran away. Away from his fears. Away from me. I slowly stalked the man, enjoying the panicked looks everytime he looked back to me. Each time I laughed. Laughed to show how insignificant the man was. I wanted more.
I weaved through handseals once more and diverted my chakra to the trees around us. My chakra warped around the bark of the trees, mimicking its shape, texture and looks. Five trees around the two of us forcefully shot out wooden branches towards Big G. The first pillar of wood pierced his legs, causing him to fall down. He turned around to see me still walking towards him. He tried to crawl away, but two more pillars went into his arms, pinning him to the ground. Finally, the last wooden pillar hit him in the chest. Big G screamed not in pain but of fright as I walked up to him.
“My my, I’m sure you’re familiar with this position. Hmm?” My voice was soft, silky and seductive in tone. My eyes held wild fascination for the man pinned before me. Helpless I took a knife from my pouch and crouched down to the filth of the world. “Don’t worry, dear. You’ll only feel a lot of pain.” Unknown to myself, Big G was seeing multiple images of women holding him down. Laughing at him, making him submit. But when he saw one pull out a knife. He lost it.
Big G started to scream, thrash, and cry beneath my gaze. I laughed in mirth as I sunk the knife into the pit of his arm, slowly cutting towards the bone and eventually all the way through. His arm was finally cut off, blood pouring out of the man’s wounds. My head cocked back, eyes glazed, right hand covered a portion of my face. I silently laughed. Laughed enough that my body rocked with it. I slowly reverted my gaze back down to the bleeding, crying and squirming pile of filth before me.
“Oh, you don’t get to die on me this quick, love.” My arms fell limp to my side as medical chakra began its way into my hands. Quickly enough, a soft green hue covered my hands. But I knew what I was about to do needed more than what I usually gave. My eyes were half lidded now as I put my glowing hands to the nub of an arm. The arm was already discarded to the side. I wanted the man to feel the pain of regrowing limbs. I forced more of my medical chakra into my hands and in return they pulsed with fervor. My chakra instantly latched onto the man’s arm and began its work. The blood that was previously pouring was now clogging up.
I knew the anatomy of an arm fairly well. The most painful process and way to make a limb was to start off with the base and begin with the bones. Now that Big G would not die from blood loss, he focused on the stub of a bone that jutted out of cut skin. I was at the Glenohumeral Joint and needed to reform the joint. OSteogenesis was fascinating. The formation of the joint composed of cancellous bones which was easy enough to form. I saw the spongy like bone began to form and crack as it formed the start of the humerus Compact bone was far easier to make.
I began to visualize the cartilage forming the main center of the ossification process. In return my chakra molded a perfect copy of the man’s humerus and it also started to form the forearm, slowly branching out into the ulna and radius. Now that the cartilage was formed, the process to turn that into bone would be simpler. I began to replace the cartilage with connective tissue. Osteoblasts began to cluster from the center and began to branch outwards towards the ends of the humerus.
The focus in the humerus paid off. Instead of the spongy, elastic like structure the ulna and radius was. It was finally a calcified looking bone. The body drew minerals and was enhanced by my medical chakra and the man’s body formed a cohesive bone now. Big G was below me wheezing and whimpering, too tired to struggle the power of my illusion. I chuckled seeing the silent tears roll down the man’s face.
