A fight for the future! ((Open to anyone))

[Ryu]

Kanaye laughed as he heard Baki start swearing. Then he looked up and saw Maki diving down at him at an amazing speed. However he would not move, the fight would go on forever and they both would end up killing themselves if it didn't end soon. In a matter of seconds Maki dove off of the bird onto Kanaye with his blade held out.

Maki grasped the sword as he landed onto Kanaye... they both slammed onto the ground as Maki quickly recover and would plunge the sword into Kanaye's left shoulder.

Baki would watch in awe as they just collided...

[Ryu]

Kanaye just winced in pain as the blade came into contact with his shoulder. Blood started to drip out slwoly at a time, but if he wasnt to careful he could die from a simple wound like such. On his face he wore a blank expression showing no emotion not even pain or sorrow. He said then let his head bang against the cold earth. "Your a good fighter, ill give you that." was all he could say even in bad times such as a sword in your shoulder he still showes his respect to his oppenet.

Maki admired this respect even as a sword was driven deep into his shoulder. He took his hand off as blood dripped from the fresh wound. Maki still sat on his wounded opponent... Maki didn't want to continue as this was only a friendly duel. He just waited for the words...

[Ryu]

Kanaye stared up at Maki then began to speak. "Well its your choice rather I live or not. However you must understand why this battle had to end like this. If I wouldn't have taken the fall we would have ended up killing each other." He said with strength behind his voice. He closed his eyes for a quick second trying to recall the fight since it was epic.

Maki agreed with Kanaye's synopsis of the probable outcome of the fight. Maki grabbed the sword without saying a word he yanked it out blood poured from the wound. Maki pulled out a cloth and wiped the sword clean. He carried extra bandages to replace his own or things like this. Maki stood up as he left a roll of bandages. " Rivalry is hard to come by nowadays. See me when this fight will be more decisive." Baki joined them as they walked away..

[Ryu]

Kanaye was relived with Maki's choice, but he refused to show it. He had much more to live for such as the upcoming chunnin exams . "Thanks.." He mummbled as Maki left a roll of bandages. " I hope you plan on entering the chunin exams, I would love to face you one on one in it." Kanaye shouted as he somehow regained strength. With that he lifted the bandages wrapped the maround his arm then took his leave. "Rivals huh...." He mummbled under his breath with a smile.

Maki turned back as Kanaye acknowledged them as rivals and asked of his participation in chunin exams. "Nope I can't make it.... Mist is in a bind right now.... someone has to step up soon to turn Mist around...."
Maybe i'll go to the next one.."

[Ryu]

Kanaye turned and faced Maki then started to chuckle. "Looks like im gonna be one step ahead of you." He said laughing a little as he reached into his weapon pouch then pulled out his special kunai with his ingraved on it. "Here take this to remember me by" He said as he tossed the kunai making sure it lands a couple of inched in fron Maki

Maki looked down as an engraved kunai laid on the ground near him... Maki picked it up as he... looked back. "Thanks.... i'll see you again.... soon.."

[Ryu]

Kanaye nodded then made the tiger hand sign and vanished in a puff of green smoke. "And I will be stronger next time" He thought to himself as he returned home.
