The slums, they were painted with a grimy appearance and filled with foul, unsanitary people. It was disgusting, yet Sora would pay the poverty filled area no attention. He hadn’t come to this country to waste his thoughts on such meaningless people, people whom wasted day after day accomplishing nothing and awaiting their own life to pass. Meaningless indeed.[/blockquote]
As the Airontoku followed Dontay through the murky slums and into a lower level, they would finally arrive at what appeared to be an area where citizens took residency. If you could call this barren area ‘residency’ that is. A barely perceptible ten slanted at an angle on an apartment room door, and upon arriving there Dontay would knock on it several times. A sickly voice would be heard, and the two spoke for a moment before the door was opened and Sora had been ‘welcomed’ inside.
It was difficult to capture the man’s features, as due to the lighting you could barely make out more than his silhouette. It was clear he was armed, but he seemed to be at ease as he took a seat. It was then that the youth would be asked exactly what he wanted to know about the seal. What did Sora want to know? There was plenty he wanted to know, and if he wasn’t happy about it then Sato, Dontay, and the bearded samurai’s lives would be an ample exchange for wasting his Sora’s time. In fact, ever since brutally murdering Sato rather than simply knocking him unconscious, Sora’s attitude and feelings had been nothing but wicked. His usual nihilistic perspective on the world had seemed to have faded away.
“I don’t plan on wasting my time chasing rumors. I want a demonstration.”
For the first time since their departure from Yuki no Kuni, the Airontoku’s lips would part in order to speak. His hand still gripping onto the hilt of his Ryuujin Jaka, and thoughts of accumulating additional power filled his head. Sora, no, Cyprien, would form a smile as he finished speaking.
