Built lavishly at the dawn of the last great ninja war and continuously restored through years of prosperity and of great hardship by a tireless staff of former ninja servants, Ruomu, named after the sacred tree of a forgotten sun goddess, can be considered more than a simple training facility; to those who train within its solemn halls and painstakingly perfected dojo's the grand estate carries the same sense of importance as any temple, bound within Takigakure No Sato by a pair of massive doors whose patchwork wood blocks are carved into and decorated by the very ninja who train there.

It has been left in the care of several ninja in its day, those who possess a certain indefinable quality...or perhaps, those who possess the rare mixture of seriousness and humor, those who appreciate mischief and battle and see the two as dependent on each other in the world of hatred most often encountered by shinobi. Surprisingly, its latest owner is only a Genin of the Hidden Waterfall Village, a boy once cursed by those who were to take him in as a demon. He regards the enclosure as his own personal room and lives in one of it's many private suites, a constant reminder of the wandering Sage responsible for its original construction.

Ruomu is open to all, and has been known to host nearly every Kage of the Village at one point in time, even if only to stop by and say hello to the transient visitors who've come to train, or spar, or just to soak up the ambient atmosphere of purposes radiating from it's carefully arranged stone walls.

Built amongst a grouping of waterfalls and creeping jungle growth attempting vainly to reclaim the forest, it's inner workings can seem like a maze to the inexperienced. Ruomu is monitored at all times by it's Groundskeeper, Ulthane Genki, a veteran Samurai of the Land of Iron's private militia, and a man few ever see, and fewer are willing to make angry. He keeps a constant vigil on all that happens, has an affinity for warm sake, and is a well known gambler throughout Taki No Kuni.

^{INDOOR DOJO}

The Indoor Dojo was designed specifically for Taijutsu Practice, and is large enough to hold six-hundred shinobi at any given time. It can be divided at a moments notice into sectional training areas for a more private experience, and has occasionally been known to open up the entire floor for a sparring match between masters. Teachers of all kind and from all walks of life have private studios arranged in a pattern of increasingly wide concentric circles that surround the dojo itself, and several weapons caches bearing practice models of virtually every ninja tool in existence can be provided upon request.

^{OUTDOOR DOJO & CRAFTSHOP}

The Outdoor Dojo is actually a part of the Craftshop built onto the grounds quite recently. The craftshop, naturally, is a place where various builders and artisans can come to reflect and create, absorbing the natural aesthetic wonders of the nearby waterfalls which give the village it's name. The Outdoor Dojo is an ideal 100x100 meter area designated for Ninjutsu Training, where the sometimes harsh repercussions of wielding chakra to manipulate and/or control nature can safely dissipate and be trained into within an open area.

Within the meditation chamber, Genjutsu, and the perceptions required to intelligently perform such techniques can be trained at ones leisure. The rounded crystal in the center of the room can be used as a focus point for those that find their minds wandering...or those that find themselves under the influence of a genjutsu and wish to train techniques to break it. This room is a sanctuary, and beyond a mere practice area, a place where shinobi can come to be alone with their thoughts, and meditate on the coming obstacles or opportunities.

• ALL Takigakure Shinobi are welcome at any time, to train anything, or to spar or just have IC interactions with other people in the village.
  
• This area CAN be privatized and shut down, in the event that it becomes necessary. Notices will be given.
  
• All Current and Previous Kage keep on hold a private suite, within which they are allowed guests of their choosing. These rooms are NOT monitored by Ulthane, and as such, can be used to discuss IC information in private.

^{Doton Soushi no Jutsu (Rock Creation Technique)
Rank: "D" "C" "B" "A" "S"
Skill: NinJutsu
Effect: A technique where the user takes the time to formulate, or create Rock in order to use other types of techniques for great usages.
Special: "Handseals"
Drawback: Must be learned more and more in order to be capable of performing better, and capable of producing more Rock like formations for other types of techniques. Cannot be used on Sand
Description: What occurs is that the user takes the time to push down into the ground their own chakra. As the user does this the user takes the earth like materials found within the ground which is the components of soil as they begin to formulate and harden them all around in order to create harden rock like materials. The user may slam their hands against the ground in order to use this technique or just by pushing their chakra down to the ground. A user can gain the capability of grabbing onto the very ground and molding a piece of earth into a hardened like rock. The more the user learns and the higher the Difficulty class the user becomes the more they are capable of mastering this type of technique. When first learned the user is only capable of formulating rock into the size of their hand. When the user learns the "C" Rank, version this type increases to five meters in radius. Each time learned after that, the distance increases by ten feet giving a total distance of thirty-five meters in a radius distance. For each Difficulty class the User is the larger number this distance becomes. Each Difficulty class after C The distance increases by Ten meters. This means that if a user becomes S Rank in Difficulty Class and learns the S Rank Version of this technique the user is capable of formulating Rock within a Seventy-Five meters Radius.

He was in a nightmare. His hands were placed into the dirt and he was playing god. Creating a new earth. Molding the distant still molecules of rocky matter into singular solid forms, directing them with simple gestures of his hands that betrayed the complexity of the handseals he'd just performed. He was losing control. The earth broke apart. His control over the Doton element called for nature and shape transformation to simultaneously occur, and while his chakra was fed into the surface, above ground, the beginnings of life blossomed into view, and overhead, a massive boulder crashed smaller stones into itself and grew larger and larger. He was creating rock from nothing, creating a pit that the world itself would be shaken apart and folded into. He couldn't stop...


Akashita opened his eyes to madness. In the middle of the night, bad dreams and visions of turmoil splintered his fragile sleep, perceptual shards arranged in a fading mosaic. Bright sun overhead. Sound of water outdoors. He was in Ruomu, safe for a bit. The sounds of morning congealed to a vibrating whine that ricocheted off solid wall and step to end with him. His ears rang. His heart-beat sped up. He had been meditating and massaged a cramp out of his folded legs while the curse of his demonic bloodlimit had activated of its own volition. He squinted and exclaimed; attempted control, succeeded and looked out with the retreating red of life's secrets going back to show only the superficial surface of the world. Ulthane had set up the day's scrolls beforehand, and cleared his dojo of guests. He would be alone to train.

The scroll was large, contained techniques from various different elemental natures, and projected a path of training designed for both proper defense and blistering offense. Taking his small stature into account, many taijutsu methods for increasing his strength were included as well, though his focus would be primarily on ninjutsu, as well as increasing his knowledge of clan techniques. His first task would be the act of rock creation, necessary to utilize the Earth Release properly. He took a deep breath. Focused his chakra. Re-read the order of handseals, and began.

The handseals were slow to make; not a long string, merely one with a conflicting pattern of performance. His hands folded in and out of various signs; ram, boar, bird, dragon. As they clapped together, chakra pooled within him. It flowed in a clockwise pattern, unsure of where to settle, and as the signs completed, he placed both hands on the ground of the open air dojo around him and pushed his chakra deep into the earth. He felt the ground surge beneath him. Mineral composites and soil compacted into soft earth before solidifying, hardening. The separate components that determined the density of stone wove themselves together, ordered by the invading stream of chakra the boy directed below. Like lover's embracing.


The rumbling tremors working their way through the dirt and disturbing earthworms blind except for nerve-endings scorched by the new sensation of light were absorbed into the swirling mass of rock tying itself into an energetic shell. His fingers could feel the pressure of the earth beneath him changing. His palms were sweating. With a grunt of effort, he felt his chakra dig into the earth, uncovering a small pebble..then another...and another...until hundreds of tiny stones began to float up and spun, like planets orbiting the slow spiral of a dead star.

At the center of the new mass, an incredibly dense core of composite rock blended into black, while the pebbles raised by the shifting energy of his Doton release adhered themselves frantically. Akashita held out his hand, while remembering the nightmare that foretold an impossible but horrific outcome, and slowed the chakra within him that was screaming to be released in full force. He'd created a single black marble-sized structure of rock, and as he watched and focused, saw surrounding dirt from beneath him ascend to meet this 'core', turning themselves faster and faster, until before him, a fist sized lump of stone had been created.

He raised an eyebrow. Squinted. Rung his hands out and glanced at the opened scroll again.

Drawback: The user's hands must stay upon the ground at all time. When the user is capable of reaching "A" Class the knowledge of placing their hands onto the very ground becomes obsolete, and the user is capable of performing the technique without having their hands along the ground.
Description: As the user slams their hands against the ground, the user is capable of creating a miniature like earthquake along the ground. The ground rumbles lightly as the very earth moves in all directions in a fifteen-meter radius. Every time the user gains ranking in difficulty class the distance of the technique increases by ten meters.

Scroll was boring. He moved over the contents, perused the drudgery. Clasped his hands together, appreciated the movement of hands that formed symbols mimicking stars too far away to matter. But his concern wasn't for the sky. It was for the ground. Down below the earth, near the shifting tectonic plates that moved at the same slow pace as the planet. He would copy that shifting, lurching motion. He wanted to achieve the movement. Knock an opponent off balance. Inexorably tie their futures to something as infrequent and tangential as his own thoughts. The handseals were complete. His chakra burst forth...exploded....was contained within his own heart and pushed to travel along the same path as his blood as he barely had to crouch to reach the surface-land and placed his palms to the ground, instigating a flood of chakra.

It was pure energy; no nature transformation to cause the shift. Chakra to Doton Chakra. Insignificant to many, but useful. He moved slowly, methodically. Spread apart and picked out the tiny changes in the stone environment that would allow him to accurately move its mass, at first like a solid patchwork. Eventually, it would become a tremor. He focused on himself, on his vision becoming dizzy from vibrations grown out of control in their violent and somewhat melodic creations. A visualization exercise. Each granule of earth beneath his palms was connected to every other granule; if he moved one, the others would move in kind. The earth would split and divide and crack into pieces. He could push out all his might, moving each individual bit until the distinction between 'part' and 'whole' no longer existed. This was his own...special ability. He could form the incoherent mass of thoughts weaving inexplicably throughout his head into one steady stream of focus...and he used that focus to arrange his chakra.


He felt a trembling. The ground had moved, just a little. Tiny wooden practice dolls set up across the field spread their way out and over the extravagant outdoor dojo. He felt mad. Sickened by their presence. They hadn't been knocked down in the quaking earth. He released the ground, stayed kneeling, re-performed the same set of handseals and looked forward towards the land the training dummies sat on. His chakra bubbled up within him...seemed sated and starving contradictorily and simultaneously and truly. His hands smacked against the earth. Pebbles were pushed aside. There was a rift, riven earth, a disruption of stone that carried itself from where he made physical contact with the land, all the way to the wooden automatons who were pushed back by the wave of energy. The earth had split once again, this time on purpose, this time, an after-effect of the power of the jutsu. He shaped the chakra of the doton release with purpose, allowed the rumbling below his feet to carry him with it, unraveled more of the scroll that sat before him like every temptation of hell.

Hands removed from the ground. Shaking subsides while he looks on in bliss and insanity.

Rumoru. A building that was supposedly looked more like a temple than a training facility, even though it was the later of the two. Takeshi had heard mentions it throughout the village and it was his curiosity of the place that brought the young swordsman to the entrance. Lifting his straw hat so that he could get a better look at the entrance he was approaching. “Doesn’t seem that special to me”, he commented as he opened the door, striding into the maze like corridors that composed the beginnings of the complex. “Well great…” the swordsman muttered as he walked through the winding chasms. He walked through the corridors with only his own footsteps breaking the silence. Grumbling he thought about simply using his byakugan, but the sound of running water broke his train of thought.

Rushing out, the young genin saw a courtyard that could only be described as beautiful. Whistling in amazement he set out to explore the vast new area. “I have to admit ninja training facilities are better than what I expected.” As his gaze swept across the scene he took note of the buildings that were on the opposite side. Like the scenery the buildings had a majestic appearance, explaining the fact that it was compared to a temple. Walking across the field he slowly was able to hear sounds emanated from the buildings. It seemed that it was the home to craftsman, or at least a blacksmith as the sound of someone pounding an anvil could be heard. As he approached closer he also could see something he had visited often. A dojo, although grander than any he had seen on his travels, also could be seen through doors. The familiar sound of wooden swords clashing confirmed his theory.

All of these held possibilities to explore, yet Takeshi instead sought a small tree located in the courtyard. Although he had come to a training facility at the moment he had no desire to actually train, or do anything for that matter. He simple let his back rest on the tree as he sat down in the shade. “Peaceful scenery, the sound of training in the background, yeah I could get used to this.” With those words he pulled his straw hat down to covering a portion of his face, and prepared to relax.

Hours passed as the swordsman relaxed under the shade of the nearby tree. It probably would have continued for hours more if a sudden powerful gust of wind hadn't jostled him. "What was that?" he mumbled as he looked for the source of that wind. It was easy to find as he saw another large gust shoot next to him. Two men were training in the middle of the courtyard. That would have been normal had it not been for the fact that wherever the two men swung their swords spawned another gust of wind.

Although annoyed at being awoken, curiosity quickly overtook him as he watched the duel. Walking over to them, careful to avoid being blasted by win, he quickly shouted over the combat, "Hello! What technique is that?" The two men quickly stopped their practice as they addressed him. Takeshi soon learned that they were students learning the sword style known as Senkou Kensei Kenshiki. Marveled at this unknown style the genin asked where this style was taught. After hearing of the location, he quickly left the training ground.

It had been quite some time since a shinobi of Takigakure had ventured into the lush forest area to seek out the ancient fortress----Ruomu----to pursue efforts of training. Ginko walked through the renovated estate with her dual-filtered gas mask attached to her face. The Genin hadn't brought along with her any ninja tools, yet still dressed in her tactical vest, which was worn over a black shirt. Her pants were baggy and were a rich brown.. as she moved through the place, her footsteps faintly echoed throughout the barren training facility. She hadn't gotten lost through the natural labyrinth that the forest presented while she searched for the outside Dojo training area, where Ninjutsu was permitted to be trained. Sure that she was alone in the field, she began to focus her inner energy on the earthen element.

With Doton being her innate release, it was not a difficult task for the kunoichi to muster up the chakra required for elemental manipulation. Her level of control was currently questionable, yet still, she could prove to handle above-average techniques; slowly, she performed the hand seals necessary for the lowest level of Doton ninjutsu. Gin had no reason to rush in total solitude, for this is the time were she spent perfecting her techniques. This particular jutsu called for her to place her hands on the ground, so she did so while kneeling down; once her palms touched the surface of the earth, her chakra resonated with the element and coursed outward away from her body. The diameter around her began to slowly - barely - began to hum with her energy. She could see the blades of grass beginning to move rapidly, which was not caused by a sudden gust of wind. 

The Rikujo Doyo no Jutsu caused the very earth to vibrate around Ginko as she performed the technique. There had been several saplings around the vicinity that began to move vigorously from her usage of the technique, which caused several leaves to fall from their branches. The Waterfall low-ninja lifted herself up from her kneeling position and as soon as her hands left the surface of the earth, the ninjutsu was dispelled. She stood there for a moment, wondering about the potential uses of such a jutsu. It could be used to knock someone off balance, but what would she be able to do while it was required that her hands remain on the ground? Had she a partner with her, then this technique would allow her to work in tandem with that person to carry out a dual attack. Ginko was primarily a defensive type, so this technique would suit her well if another used a lethal blow on an adversary. Lifting her head to meet the horizon, she gauged the distance between her and another cluster of trees... she wanted to see just how far out the radius of this technique went.

Another set of hand seals caused her chakra to fluctuate outward in the same manner as before. She stood erect, but quickly knelt down and slammed her hands on the ground in the silent training ground to cause the jutsu to activate once she touched the earth. "Rikujo Doyo no Jutsu!" she shouted behind her metallic gas mask, wherein vociferation immediately caused the earth around her to tremble and quake in numerous directions. She lifted her head to determine the exact range of the basic earth-style jutsu, as the same saplings around her began to lose more of their early foliage. It would appear to Gin that the current radius was only ten meters, as the second cluster of saplings were just barely out of range of the ninjutsu. Since she felt comfortable performing the technique, she returned to a standing position and moved around the training area. Ginko worked her way towards an area of large boulders that sat in wanton places about the grounds.

Doton: Tamaishi Danmaku (Earth Element: Pebble Barrage)

Skill: NinJutsu
Effect: A simple technique used as a distraction in which the user uses a few hand seals concentrating along the chakra towards the ground. Doing so, the user takes the chakra and the rocks to push forth sending multiple small grape sized like pebbles towards the opponent.
Special: "Hand Seals"
Drawback: The amount of pebbles depends on the rank of the user.
Description: Small like stones are created along the ground in pebble form as they are pushed up along the ground and sent flying towards the very enemy or enemies depending on the type of distance the enemy or where the enemy is standing. This type of attack is somewhat of a basic like attack and is to be considered more of an annoyance or distraction.
Limit: Needs the Earth Release.

Ginko approached the boulder laden area with her dual colored eyes set on practicing more Doton related ninjutsu. She had wished for a second that there was another here to train with her, but maybe someone would show up later on if she hadn't left the training ground already. Looking at how large these pieces of exposed earth had been, she thought of a technique that would enable her to use the size of the boulder to her advantage had she not the necessary amount of ninja tools to throw at an opponent.

Quickly she wove kata, focusing her physical and spiritual energy on accomplishing a task associated with earth manipulation. What she was trying to accomplish here was simple for what it was worth: the rapid deterioration of the boulders into much smaller sized pebbles, which could be used to harass an opponent in the absence of her hira-shuriken. Gin pressed her chakra hard to cause the massive boulder in front of her to break apart into floating smaller pebbles of earth. The way her control and manipulation of chakra worked, it appeared as if though some invisible force was pulling chunks out of the huge piece of earth before it was reduced to nothingness. With a plethora of floating pebbles at her command, the kunoichi commanded them to hit other boulders within her proximity, which resulted in volleys of earthen material pelting against harder forces. It was sort of a disappointment to Ginko that these grape-sized pebbles produced no real damage to the much more durable boulders from which they manifested. If anything, this technique could be used to harass an opponent with volley after volley of pebble barrages, which could possibly lead up to a more devastating ninjutsu given how many pebbles could be amassed in so short a time frame.

"Tamaishi Danmaku," she muttered after using all of her prior earthen resources while performing the requisite hand seals. This time, numerous pieces of the earth rose up and broke down quickly into small sized rocks before the low-ninja as her chakra manipulated the earth nature. There had been a bridge near her location and below that, a flowing stream. She commanded the pebbles to barrage the small stream which resulted in numerous splashes across its running surface in a rather rapid pace. Judging from the damage that the Earth Style: Pebble Barrage caused earlier to the boulders, she figured that not much more could be inflicted against an actual human. Behind her gas mask, she frowned. While she saw herself as a defensive type, she assumed that she would have to learn another elemental release to actually inflict true damage on an opponent. Most of the Doton ninjutsu that she knew of only called for defenses or minor hindrances while another release was needed for a killing blow.

For a third time, she attempted the jutsu. Another boulder was quickly chiseled down to nothing as numerous marble-sized pebbles wavered around the kunoichi. Maybe she could use this technique as a moving defense, she thought since she saw no other true use behind the jutsu. Bored with solo training, the kunoichi left the outside training ground and returned to the inner realm of Ruomu to seek out a sparring partner.

The kunoichi returned to the inner workings of the ancient training facility and searched in numerous rooms for another soul. She wouldn't be fortunate enough to find a ninja of Takigakure, so she had decided to leave the place. Ginko decided that she would return to the village and quickly ran through the front door of Ruomu to head into the forest that separated her from Takigakure-no-Sato. The waterfalls around this exterior area crashed against stones as she leapt through the wet expanse, headed towards the tower of the Waterfall Shadow.

This skill is important for ferreting out advancing enemies or ambushes, generally real-time events and actions occurring, versus scrutiny, which covers static objects or areas. A Game Master may roll an Observation skill check for a Character any time there is an NPC, monster, event or happening that a character might notice, even if he did not specifically state that he is monitoring his surroundings. Characters are capable of noticing any event within their perception. Observation reveals only facts, not motivation. Each time learned user gets 1 die roll to increase the skill. If you are Schooled in Anthropology you gain a +10% synergy bonus with Observation checks that involve noticing disguise checks.

After months of vacancy, the doors of the Ruomu would open back up to welcome in the kunoichi Ginko. This region of the Hidden Waterfall village had been perhaps her favorite training spot; the structural content and open encampment had proven to be more suitable to her than the Danger Room. As Earth as her innate element, it felt only right to train on actual land. The comfortable ambiance of the Ruomu only furthered her pleasure in retreating here.

The Taki-kunoichi had possessed an eye for detail. Her heterochromatic eyes moved into the Taijutsu facility located in the insides of the training establishment. It was unfortunate that she hadn't a sparring partner to polish up on her fighting techniques, but then again, she could always conjure a Mud Clone to act as her training assistant. The broad wooden floor opened up into a wide area, whose walls were governed by sliding doors and armory components. Had she chosen to hone her abilities in here, she could move the white and nearly transparent doors to do so; but with a mere grunt, she continued onward towards the shower. Her tight black bodysuit contorted to her form and the latex added to her natural bosom. The gas mask she wore covered more than half of the girl's beautiful face, for having a fear of inhaling toxins cautioned her like no other.

Gin had moved to the back of the indoor dojo and stepped into a hallway that stretched the length of Ruomu. She studied the paintings on the wall for a time - she remembered seeing a few of these up close her last time here and recognized the faces of several former Waterfall Shadows. Rosalie's own portrait had been hung here and Ginko felt a bit sad at the retirement of the Lady Godaime. Once she managed to shake those feelings off, she would press further into the circling corridor to a humid and dank area. The showers. Her locker had been up ahead and most of her weaponry had been stashed away here. She would jog the rest of the way and embraced the warm condensation that caused the back portion of the hallway to become steamy.

Four. Two. Seven. One. The combination to her green locker; once inside, she would peel through her clothing to find a better training outfit than the tight bodysuit; afterward, she went on to check her inventory and weaponry: eight kunai, forty-five ninja stars, a grenade; stuck on the right side of the locker interior had been a score of exploding tags. She would then take her goggles from around her neck and hang them on the hook located inside. With one hand she would close the locker; with the other, she carefully tugged at the zipper that kept her black suit on her flesh. The sound of warm running water brought her to a place in her mind that reminded her of her Waterfall loyalty.....

She slipped out of her apparel and slid into the sultry heat of the shower water. This feeling had been entirely welcomed by the young woman; having spent a long time out within the district of Ko Village had laden her in sweat and automaton oil. Ginko felt as if she deserved this break from duty on her return trip home. The waters would run down her petite frame and into the drain pipes beneath her comely feet; as she lifted her face to the spout of the water, she would inhale through her gas mask as the metal filters brought her lungs pure and breathable air. She ran her small hands through her long silver hair and closed her eyes during this ordeal. Had this been genjutsu, then she would have never wanted to leave it. Yet it hadn't been.


Following her period of refreshment, the Genin returned to the locker room and dried herself off with a dry green towel. Her soft flesh was left immaculate by the wool-textured cloth that she dried with; even her steel gas mask seemed to benefit from a brief polishing from the comfortable feeling toiletry. Her senses would be alerted as the faint sound of footfalls echoed on the rounded walls toward her. Someone was coming?... No, from the way that the sound continued to diminish, she could only assume that it was a boy using the male showers right down the hall. A pity that he didn't brazen up and come to face her in the bathroom... With a shrug, she steadily dried herself until she was wet no more; then, she went to place on her training raiment. These would be loose cloths of fine silk; robes, which she felt comfortable enough to wear in the recesses of Ruomu, where few dared venture. Ginko applied a red sash around her waist and then red shoes to her feet. As she looked back at her reflection in the mirror, she tightened her eyes and tied a red headband around her brow. Now she was ready to train at the outdoor location. Coolly, she would step down the winding hallway. If she had happened to do so by chance, she would wink at the boy who had ran through here earlier.. sadly, she didn't see him among the faces of the Takikages.

As she stepped back outside, the maroon highlighted wood of the craft shop would catch her attention. Gin had never been in that part of the Ruomu, yet always trained somewhere near it. She would casually stroll over the bridge that bound her over a gap of coursing water. She counted three orange, white and brown koi fish before crossing to the other side. Seeing them reminded her of her former team of Genin - Janus and Ookami. Now she had had the privilege as a top Genin cadet to go on missions with Chunin ranked persons. She had recently returned from her second B-rank mission in Ko Village.. she vaguely remembered the faces of those she saved, but she did remember the Mechanist. Thinking of him and his mechanical creations made her hot. The woman ninja stamped the rest of the way to the green pasture some four meters away.

Boulders of assorted size lay here. One thing that Ginko did happen to observe was that she had truly been the last person to train here ---- The field was littered with smaller pebbles that hadn't been deteriorated back into mud by the rain season; she felt accomplished in her mastery of Doton.

Clouds overhead contorted and brought about strange shadows being cast down upon the kunoichi. She would look skyward in the open grassy area and observe for a time the passing birds and clouds. Each breath she took would be well noted: as she would inhale, she would think of the blue void above her; during each exhale, she would imagine herself plummeting down to the ground with no harm done to her body. So far, she had seen a flock of birds that circled an area of the forest a click or so away. Ginko wondered what could have been over in that direction to gain the acute observation of the sky-willed condors. A final inhale and she would stretch her torso; with a release, she reopened her eyes and focused onto a stone lodged into the ground in front of her.

Thus now begins her training.

Within a second's time, the ninjutsu specialist had managed to complete a set of seals required for Earth manipulation. The seal of the Snake, her favorite to associate with earthen jutsu, would be locked firmly by her clasped hands as her chakra erupted through her body. "Rikujou Douyou no Jutsu!" she hissed, slamming both hands into the ground with a steel seriousness. Whenever she did train, she took the task seriously; this was a time for her to brush up and perfect her skills, not lollygag with idle time. The earth would receive her palms as they pushed through the first layer of dirt, a testament to her increasing physical strength and manipulation over earth material. As her chakra pumped through the ground, the sensation of shaking would encompass the small area. Several pebbles that had been left during her former months here would tremble from the might of the earthquake; as did the stone in front of her; and as Ginko happened to glance over her shoulder towards the bridge, she vaguely noticed the water's surface rippling. Observing this, she realized that the scope of her technique had increased to roughly twenty meters. Despite enjoying the feeling of having dry earth clumping over her hands she removed them some time after she heard shouting in the distance.

Just when she thought she had been alone, a vague figured appeared over the horizon. She lifted her face and squinted - she could hardly tell who it was. But as she remembered hearing the footsteps back at the shower, she assumed that this could have been the man of her dreams boy she heard sneaking out of there. Waving both hands, the figure continued to yell. "Heyyy, heyyyy!!" Well, obviously they could see one another. A light breeze rolled through the area and brought Ginko a piece of rapt. The silky texture of her robes rubbed against her creamy skin and for a brief second, she had forgotten where she was.

"..H... Hey there;" he bent over, trying to catch his breath, "Yo!" rising, he flourished a smile. Her dual colored eyes got wide a bit, seeing the handsome man face-to-face. "I'm Hayato." Even though he was bald-headed, something about him was attractive to Ginko. Maybe his funny smile; yet as she was about to introduce herself, shadows formed over her and she was forced to look up, having heard the cry of the circling flock. "Ohhh, hey. Don't be alarmed.. these are my pets. I am from the Tsubasa clan. We handle birds and other stuff like that, so... yeah." A moment of awkward silence was shared between the two as Gin looked back up to the large-sized birds and the frail looking Hayato. He smiled and rubbed his shining head. "Aha.. so what's your name again?"

"Ginko." she decided after a moment of thought; though she found the boy attractive, she didn't dare reveal to him her surname. Despite that he had divulged to her his clan of the Tsubasa, she didn't know him well enough to share past things with him. Her dark past... the slaughtering of her parents in the capital of Seisui had brought her here to become a kunoichi. Perhaps sometime in the future, she could return to her home-city and find out about her lost files....

As she went on to observe the male, one could tell that he too was observing her. The silver-haired girl noted his strange dress: he had a green cape on and a yellow jumpsuit; odd, but eccentric and that had stood out to the girl. Of course with his bald head, he looked a bit comical, but that mattered little to the kunoichi - many had said her gas mask had been peculiar. She noted that his dark eyebrows could hold fierceness, if she could ever imagine him in an intense battle against an adversary. Afraid to lower her gaze towards his nether parts, the girl kept her eyes just at his pelvis, hanging there, was a green sash waistband that bore the Waterfall emblem. She snapped her eyes back up to him immediately: "You're a ninja of the village? What ranking..." Hayato would cross his arms and nodded his nugget head. The sun glistened off of it in the direction of Gin, and she was forced to raise a hand as a reaction. No wonder his birds are able to keep up with him...

The two would again meet at a stalemate wall of conversation. He would kick the dirt, now obviously shy from the reddening of his face. Following an ahem and a shake of his rotund head, he inquired; "Are you a ninja?.. That gas mask makes you look like a tough kunoichi, if you are one.. hm, maybe Genin?." Hayato snickered slyly. The woman closed her eyes and crossed her own arms; but then swiftly, she would perform hand seals. The Mi kata held firm, she would thrust her hands again into the earth. A small quake would happen around Hayato and he would seem confused for a moment. Seconds later, the rock form of a prison would rise about him; the Daichi Kangoku was created of hardened earth in the form of an open mound. Before she had the time to follow up the requisite kata for the Nobebou, he would emerge forthwith - spinning skyward with white wings sprouted from underneath his now flapping olive cape.

Ginko was now under the infatuation of his flight capability; as a young woman, seeing this man take to the skies did something to her. Her usually hard mien felt for a split of a second liquid as her heterochromatic eyes watched his fluffy white wings flap against the might of the wind. His avian aides accompanied him and cawed heatedly as if to signal an alarm. In a beaked drove, they launched themselves towards Ginko, who had now broken into a run in her loose silk robes. She was quick; capable of noticing the scattered stones and how to jump over them and around them with poise. She could hear the bald Hayato yelling to his birds - yet no avail. They chased Ginko in a frenzy, and now she was forced to command her chakra while casting seals. With quick thinking. the girl utilized her chakra to control Doton; with precise manipulation --- perhaps some even gained from the knowledge of Suiton --- she managed to slip underneath the earth via Dochuu Eigyo. For now, amid the subterranean holds of the Ruomu, she moved away from the aerial assault. "Awwwww, cmon, guys! You make me look like a terrible trainer... I know it's a lot of you, but bird's of a feather flock together!--I didn't give an order to attack.." Hayato would slump down and his creatures would nestle about him, saddened by their letdowns. The ground would shake a meter away from him and Ginko re-emerged.

"Perhaps it is you who is the Genin, Hayato. I myself have been the leader of two B-ranked missions, and I plan on attending the Chunin Exams." This woman had a keen eye; she observed the sounds in the squawks and the voice of the bald teenager while underneath the soil. She could understand that he still had a ways to go with training his animal companions.. but he had so many. This made her think for a moment of an animal companion.. although she herself would personally enough some vile kuchiyose. The birds would squawk and the Tsubasa clansman ordered them to stop.

Ginko quickly looked down at her white garments and frowned. She had gotten dirty fleeing from these birds! But maybe her and Hayato could take a shower together.. she didn't know. But since she was really dirty anyway, she threw out a suggestion. "How about a spar... I'd like to practice.. several styles of art with you." Inward, she would snicker. She had planned on using genjutsu on his condors and maybe Suiton to really give them a beating. Even though she liked the idea of Hayato, he couldn't've been above Genin level given his inadequate skill.

[Futabatei Ginko]

Back within the sanctum of the tranquil Ruomu, Ginko found herself wandering the halls of the ancient dwelling of Takigakure, lost in deep thought. She had for a while now been struggling with a personal conflict---with the Godaime missing, and her Chuunin comrades both having either died in battle or vanished from the world, the kunoichi did not know what to do with herself. She had thought that perhaps the Chuunin Exams would be an answer: yet upon injuring her leg after her travels in Tsuchi no Kuni, she found that source of inspiration to hold little water in her pursuit of personal growth. 

The showers located in the women's quarters of the Ruomu sprinkled warm waters on the statuesque frame of the Takigakure genin. She still, per protocol, wore her gas mask; the waters slid off of her skin, yet simultaneously embraced her frame as the warmth opened her pores and welcomed in a sensation of comfort. 

Perhaps this would be her last time within her favourite place within the hidden village since she had become a kunoichi. These things, amongst others, she thought about as she continued to shower; a heavy heat saturated the room, and caused a vapor to rise and flush out into the halls of the winding Ruomu. After the extended bout of solace, the earthen master stepped out of the showers and allowed her body to dry naturally in the drier air around the sanctum. Her silver hair clung to her back, having been extremely heavy and dampened from the three hour long round of relaxation. 

Once she put back on her clothing and gathered her wares, she did a small prayer in a quiet field outside the Ruomu. She remembered all of the training she had done here - both by herself and in the presence of others. But the memories of those people were fading... just as they themselves faded out of her life. For a long while, now, the woman had felt alone. Who was she, even? Should she return to Suigen for answers about her family's origins, or would that objective lead to further confusion and loneliness in her heart and mind? Ginko's heterochromatic eyes opened slowly from her meditation, and she arose to her feet, staring at the sun. 

She would then take her time to leave the renown Ruomu, which she had personally found to be a home within a home. She would indeed miss this place.
