Upon the outside gates of the Tenshu Domain, the symbol can be seen, the bird formed by a multitude of ametrine stones.

The Tenshu

The Tenshu have been within Otogakure since its creation. They were present when the first Shinobi War concluded from its ashes rose the village. Since then, they have played an important part not only in the politics but also in shinobi life. The Tenshu have been known to produce elite shinobi themselves. Their life shinobi or not, is one of luxury and strict regiments. The life of the young Tenshu members may be one of prestige, but it is also one of pressure as the latest generation of this powerful family must constantly prove themselves to their elders, they must always surpass themselves for fear of being rejected by their family. Though Tenshu is a large family, their noblesse and prestige comes first.

It is not uncommon for members of the Tenshu to receive titles. These are unique to each individual. They may represent one's abilities, appearance, personality or may be linked to a specific event that transpired in one's life. The family is ran by Tenshu, Hirosaki. As the first born male son of the previous Head of Tenshu, he now runs the whole clan. His children are expected to become powerful shinobi or marry powerful shinobi to keep the chakra within their bloodline powerful. It is not rare for the Tenshu clan to adopt individuals. When one is adopted it is usually due to their power and potential.

The Tenshu do not have a specific dress code. When a member of the family gains the rank of Genin they are given the family's signature scarf of emerald and violet, the colors of the clan. Half-bloods and bastardswill be given a sapphire/violet scarf, signifying that they are part of Tenshu but are not pure-blooded. Wards, those who were adopted into the family due to being prodigies are given the turquoise and violet colored scarves. The scarves can be worn in any manner, as belts, headbands, bandanna, around one's arm, etc...

It is also common to see members of the family to wear clothing that is marked with the sigil of their clan. The amethyst colored peacock is regularly worked into the family's kimonos and other pieces of clothing.

The Domain

The estate in which the Tenshu live is expansive, expensive and extravagant. The Tenshu's wealth come from the first Shinobi War, at a time when the shinobi world was fractured, the clan of powerful shinobi pillaged weaker settlements. Since settling down in Otogakure, the Tenshu have of course developed a code of ethics and morals that have made them a lot less barbaric yet still ruthless. With all the riches amassed, they were able to construct a splendid castle. Its architecture is breathtaking and over the years, other connected complexes were constructed to house the growing family. Each room is furnished with beautiful furnitures, the best of foods is served to every member of the family. Rooms to meditate and teach are set on every floor. There is even a dungeon set below the ground, it has not been used in decades though.

The training areas for the young Tenshu is set out of the domain. There are Tenshu-only training grounds on the other side of the village, where the young and old of the clan may wish to test their skills, or practice.

The Family(PCs)

Pure-Blooded Tenshu
A pure-blooded Tenshu needs to be born from at least one Tenshu shinobi and another shinobi. The shinobi must not hold a Bloodlimit, and the pure-blooded Tenshu must be born from two married shinobi.

Wards of House Tenshu
To be adopted within the Tenshu should be taken as a great honor. One's skill and potential is the only thing that can make them enter the noble house. Adopted Tenshu have no genetic/blood link to any member of the clan. Like half-bloods they must constantly prove themselves worthy of being Tenshu. The Tenshu enjoy taking in young and powerful shinobi into their house and becoming their patron, instructing their different instructors to harness their abilities. Wards may take the name of Tenshu at the discretion of its Lord.

That specific day was somewhat like any other. The sun had been out for most of it yet the clouds were slowly dragging in. The grey cloak that was being spread upon the skies smelled of rain, or so Arisu thought. Her crystal blue eyes stared at the sky as it slowly clouded, a sighed escaped her thin lips before she sat upon the large stone steps that led into the Tenshu Domain. She would cross her legs, placing both of her hands upon her knees. Even if she was sitting upon dirty stone stairs, she still seemed elegant while doing it. The only expression which crossed her face was boredom. And she knew that if she entered the manor, things would get even more boring. There was little to no action within the walls of the Tenshu household, the rules were strict and the children of the Tenshu had more chances having fun far away from the castle.

''What a day.''

She whispered to herself as she looked about, wondering if someone would come by before she needed to enter the estate. She knew that her adoptive brother had not come back yet so she might be lucky enough to catch him.

Something stirred in the distance yet the blond kunoichi did not move. She was still looking at the sky, the grey sky being observed by detached, emotionless eyes. As Kouten called out to her, Arisu was pulled out of her state of reverie. Getting up to her feet quickly, she rapidly dusted off the back of her skirt. She quirked an eyebrow towards the man with the spear, unsure of what needed to be said or done. Both of her hands settled upon her hips as she looked at Kouten, scanning him from head to toe. She did not speak for a while, her body blocking him as she stood several steps higher. She flicked her hair to the back of her shoulders before she began speaking in her usual cold voice, not wanting to seem as if she cared about him.

''I could ask the same of you.''

Arisu placed both of her hands upon her hips as she listened to what her adopted brother had to say. As the rain fell from the heavens, the blond beauty remained completely dry as she stood beneath the roof that protected the stairs into the estate. She bit her lip softly, wondering for a moment if Kouten was making a stab at how Tenshu was run. The fact of the matter was that Arisu was born into the clan, the daughter of the clan's leader gave her a position of power. Of course being of the fairer sex, she could never becoming the leader like her father. And Kouten, having been adopted would need to prove himself constantly to others simply to remain in this noble estate. But being a male he could probably attain the leadership position if her father's biological children could not.

The next thing that happened was quite hard to pinpoint exactly. Arisu vanished from the spot she was, only to appear an inch or so away from Kouten. As she stopped, her hair rushed forward, some of them feeling the wrath of a few drops of water. As she landed only a few inches away from her adopted brother, she was still mostly protected by the small roof.

''I am just making sure that my brother is on the path to greatness, like I am.'' She explained, her crystal cerulean hues staring deeply into those hellish crimson eyes. Her eyes narrowed once more as she took a brief pause. She could not let him know that she felt close to him due to their position in the clan, but she spoke once more.

''It will take a lot of time and dedication if you wish to be my equal.'' She added, only to spite him.

As Kouten spoke, Arisu's features would melt and reshape themselves. Her fingers would close into her hands, tightening her hands into small fists. Her eyebrows arched while her eyes narrowed. She could not believe how he had spoken to her, she could not believe how insulting he was. Her path, filled with rainbow flowers? What did he know of her, of what she went through to please others, to please her own people? He could never understand what she went through. And she could never understand what he faced everyday. They were similar, she had somewhat realized that, but even he did not even consider them similar in anyway. She could feel her forehead ripple with lines as she frowned at him. But he had already turned around.

''You are right, we will never be equal! I will always be closer to the heavens than you.''

Arisu realised that she was still clenching her fists. Releasing the tension in her body and smoothing out the lines in her face, Arisu flicked her hair to the side as she rolled her eyes. The clouds had already passed, as if this meeting had summoned the rain itself.

She had other things to do, other places to be.

[Draven]

It was time to make an entrance. Draven had no idea what to expect. So he had some of his adventuring gear on. Loose black jeans, tight tattered black shirt, black combat boots, and a trench coat styled robe complete with a cotton hoody. The hood would be drawn up and he would reach in its pockets to make sure his nine soldier pills where presents. Life savers for sure...

Draven would have his head bowed so a shadow would be cast over his face, the hood creating a rather ominous effect. He was in reality a kind person, but he finds when interacting with new situations, one must keep people on their toes. It's a type of controlled chaos that he likes to live in if things go sideways.

If someone was observant enough they would note a tattoo underneath Draven's shirt. It would be of a large black crow centered on the chest with a 1 foot wingspan. Also not as observable was another tattoo on his left arm, running from shoulder to hand, a motif of a flock of 25, 1 inch wingspan crows, flying down that arm. Finally the oddest aspect of this man was a scar around his neck. In his past he had been decapitated, mistaken for dead and placed into the village crypts. While his head was placed back upon his body, a strange healing process happened where his head attached back onto his body. Though the real wonder was how he survived beyond such a most assured death...Thus the scar around his neck, all the way around his neck, was easily observable.

As Draven reached the gate he would reach into another pocket. He presented whomever with the invitation scroll. No words, just silence. He would be observing them just as much as they might be observing him....

NPC: Rikki, Tenshu Servant

Upon the immense gates to the Tenshu Domain was marked the symbol of the Tenshu, it gleamed in sunlight as the sigil was made up with violet precious stones. Before the large doors stood two guards. As they were handed the scroll, the shortest of the two studied the paper quickly before nodding toward his compatriot. The man opened the large gates and his friend handed the scroll to a short, red haired servant girl. She bowed before Draven, instantly knowing what this was about. "Follow me please, my lord." She said simply as she turned around. Though she wore the humble black clothing of a servant, as all Tenshu servants, the back of her dress had a bright violet peacock sown into it. She also wore an impressive necklace that shone with diamonds. The servants of House Tenshu were very well taken care of.

Soon they had made it through the immense and immaculate gardens of the domain and had entered the palace. Turning a few corners she stopped before a room. Sliding the doors open, she revealed an elegantly little study.

NPC: Lord Hirosaki

The Study

Within the study, at the central table sat Hirosaki, lord of the Tenshu Clan. His hair was kept short and was almost completely grey, only small strands hinted at a past in which he had been blonde. Behind Hirosaki, thin doors were slid open, revealing access to a small private garden. A small pond could be seen within, a bridge crossing it. The other side of the bridge there was a small area where a cherry tree grew. Several books and scrolls lined the walls as this was Hirosaki's personal study. "You are relieved, Rikki. Have a nice day." The man said simply before he lifted his gaze toward the man that had been led to his personal space.

"Draven no Shinda, thank you for heeding my invitation, please sit." The man said simply. "I will admit I did not expect you...To look so young." He noticed. From what Hirosaki knew, the man could not be more then seven years or so younger than him. But the man that stood before him looked like a healthy twenty eight year old. He seemed closer in age to Arisu than to himself. "I have tea." He said before forgetting as he reached for the teapot and poured some of its content in a small cup in front of Draven. It was Hojicha, roasted green tea.

[Draven]

Draven would follow silently. He had no idea what to say, and he was very busy trying to keep an eye on his surroundings. It was an interesting place. He had no idea the Tenshu had so much wealth. When he was growing up, he was always told to avoid the Tenshu, though a reason as to this was never given to him. It was odd now that he thought about it.

No matter Draven followed, all the way to this study. He would see the general style of the room and decided to reach down and undo his boots. Taking them off one at a time he set them beside the door before entering. The servant had been dismissed as he would look around this place.

Then Draven was greeted by a man with perhaps short silvery hair. Taking off his hood from his coat, a look of bewilderment was showing. There wasn't a smile on his face, or a frown, just a simple look of intrigue. And then a comment referring to his age, "I have an eternal soul that does not age. I have robed death on a few occasions and taken 20 years of youth from him. Though at the price of dark solitude..." he said in response though the full story would have been a much longer tale.

Thus the invitation for some Tea. Draven smiled as he took off his coat and folded it up. Placing it next to him as he sat down where the second tea setting was. Some tea would be nice, something to calm his nerves a bit, something to focus on. Being called Lord hasn't happened to him since he was very young, and from his experience it indicated an importance...Something was going on here...

The smell was delightful...

[Arisu]

NPC: Lord Hirosaki

Hirosaki waited patiently for Draven to settle at the table upon the large, comfortable cushions that lined the floor, surrounding the short table. The warm aroma of the tea mixed beautifully with the scent of nature that permeated from the open door to the private guardian. The lord was pleased that the man enjoyed tea, or at least seemed to deem it delightful. "I know that you are possibly not interested in a history lesson, but I believe it is important to why I have brought you here." The silver haired man casually explained. His features were stern, it was obvious by just the way that he acted that honor and etiquette were two things incredibly important to him.

"We Tenshu can trace our lineage back to even before the conception of Otagakure no sato. This palace itself pre-dates the creation of the village. My father always believed that it was our ancestor that decided the location of the village, as it was said he was friends with the very first Otokage. There is no proof to my father's assertions though." Hirosaki would take from time to time a sip of his tea, glancing toward Draven, noticing that they held their cups the same way. "As you may have noticed by the size of our domain, we have amassed a grand amount of wealth over the years. At first, members of my clan will admit, it was acquired during a time of war. But over the years we have adhered to a strict code of honor, we are an ancient and strong family with our traditions, and with our undying loyalty to one another." Hirosaki explained.

"For a long moment, my own father had lost his way when it came to the clan. He had forgotten the strict rules that we must adhere to. Our rules serve a purpose, and he had forgotten the purpose, the pride of our clan. He had taken his love of sake too far, and began meeting with...whores." Hirosaki looked away for a moment as he remembered the pain that his mother had felt. Especially that time she had understood that he had had a child with another woman.

"You were born of the union between my father, Lord Hiro Tenshu and a woman, whose identity has been completely erased from any records of Otogakure." The lord said as he slowly rearranged his scarlet kimono. He did not add anything else. There were many more details Hirosaki knew and would tell his half-brother, but he gave him a moment to take all of it in.

[Draven]

Draven was simply enjoying the aromatics of the tea while he listened to the Tenshu tale. The story was slightly entertaining, for a lack of a better term, because it really didn't involve him. But he would pay attention because the must be a reason why he was here. He was about to take a sip of his tea when Lord Tenshu would drop the bomb...

Such a claim, Draven set down his tea. He wouldn't quite stare at Lord Tenshu but he would try to judge weather the man was lying. His chakra sense would spark to life as he would investigate this. There was a lie detection component he had that accompanied such an ability. The lord was now under watch from this effect. Furthermore he was looking for any other chakra signatures in the area. An odd sensation of paranoia, thus a sense of all things Genjutsu would be present as well.

Draven would have to take this slowly so his eyes were closed as he contemplated how to politely put this. "I am a No Shinda, to imply my mother was a whore, and Lord Hiro Tenshu my father, will need some backing." He would softly say. He wasn't angry just at odds with this claim. It was something he wasn't accepting out right. It felt to him that there was some game being played. "I was to be the spark that reignited the No Shinda Glory, and if not for my untimely... absence, I was well on my way. If this is another coup to undermine the No Shinda name, then I will not be apart of it."

Mind's Eye of the Kagura

Effect: The basic technique needed in order to learn all Sensor Techniques.

Drawback: ---
Description: The basic yet complex ability that allows Sensor's to find, sense, and track individuals over a vast range. This ability is done by the user closing their eyes and opening their mind's eye in order to see the advanced chakra systems around them. At A rank and above, Sensors no longer need to close their eyes in order to access their mind's eye. The user of this jutsu can only sense those up to the equivalent class rank of the rank they know. (i.e. If the user knows up to B rank in this jutsu they can sense characters of all the way from D to B rank. The basic range of this technique is ten meters.
Limit: Must fulfill all requirements to become Sensor in order to learn this technique.

Mind’s Eye Extension [200 meters]

Skill: Passive
Effect: A technique used to increase the range of Mind’s Eye of the Kagura.
Special: ---
Drawback: --
Description: This technique is passively used to increase the distance of Mind’s Eye of the Kagura. At D rank this extends the maximum range of the technique to twenty-five. At every rank after D the distance will double until reaching a maximum range of two hundred meters.
Limit: Must know Mind’s Eye of Kagura.

Illusion Sensing
Rank: D, C, B, A, S
Skill: Passive
Effect: Allows the user to detect genjutsu.
Special: ---
Drawback: Does not break the genjutsu, only tells the user that a genjutsu is in effect.
Description: This technique allows the user to sense the various fluctuations in the chakra around them. These fluctuations will allow the user to identify that a genjutsu is in play. The user is able to use this technique with the same distance chart as Mind’s Eye of the Kagura. The user need not be affected by the illusion to see it. Also note that the user can only sense Genjutsu of the same rank of this technique. Meaning D rank Illusion Sensing can detect D rank Genjutsu and so on and so forth.
Limit: Must be a Sensor.

Lie Sensing
Rank: C
Skill: Passive
Effect: Allows the user to tell when someone is lieing.
Special: ---
Drawback: Cannot tell exactly what the lie is.
Description: This technique allows the user to tell when someone is lying via the various fluctuations in the chakra around them. These fluctuations in the chakra system stem from the dishonest emotions that are given birth through them not being fully honest. Fluctuations also occur when the opponent may be telling the truth, but leaving out a major detail. Mind's Eye must also be active in order for this jutsu to be used.
Limit: Must be a Sensor.

Mouse would head for the tall building in the village, she would be staring quietly at the village as she passed them, she had to wonder what it was like for them to live like that, but she wouldn't give them too much thought as she would move along, until she reached the gates of the tall building, where Draven had said out loud in the tower. She would pass though the gates, and into the land around the building. She would move until she found a safe bush to hid in, and she would wait for Draven to came out of this building for now.

NPC: Lord Hirosaki

Hirosaki did not move when he noticed that his brother used a sensor ability. Just like his daughter, he seemed quite powerful in the ability. Though Arisu did indeed need to polish some of the skills of the jutsu, she too was quite a gifted sensor. Draven would notice a few things around the mansion as he awakened his Mind's Eye of the Kagura. There were a few shinobi within the Tenshu domain, most of them acting as guards around the area. Others were actually training in in the different private gardens. One was in his room, losing himself in books. There were two very young boys, future Academy students who were already practising their weak jutsu. Hirosaki's nephews. They were also Draven's. The Genjutsu master would also be able to sense many more chakra signatures of non-shinobi individuals, some cleaning the floors, others in the kitchens. Rikki was returning to the gates to welcome whoever would come to them. She noticed that the gates were not yet closed, the guards only closing them now. The guards had probably been distracted. She shook her head, maybe someone could have slid in! Hirosaki would not be pleased.

"My words may have been misused. I apologize, your mother was potentially not a whore. In the world in which I live, honor is everything, so of course you can understand why I would judge a woman who helped in the losing of my father's honor." He said, Draven would be unable to detect any lies spoken by the man, it was all the truth.

"These are contracts between both of our clans. My father had a moment of clarity upon your birth. I do not know what happened to your biological mother, but he did sign you over to the No Shinda, a noble family who had no heirs." Hirosaki began as he slid a scroll for Draven to inspect. It held the two signatures of both men that explained that the young bastard would be adopted as one of the No Shinda. He took a short pause, knowing that there was much more to talk about. Draven had just learned that he had an immense family now, he was no longer the sole heir to an empty house.

[Draven]

Draven narrowed his eye at the scroll. He would carefully reach over and take the offered parchment. He looked over this scroll carefully. He wasn't an expert at such documents, but if he where to write one up this seemed to be how he would do it. Though something he knew for sure was his parents signatures. He had read enough of his own family history to know what his grandmothers signature looks like as well. And of course the No Shinda seal. This document was, well it was legitimate in his eyes. Furthermore this man had not been lying to Draven... Thus a long silence as things where playing out within Draven's mind.

Lost in memory, Draven could remember his grandmother to an extent. Though she died before he was even in the academy her attitude fit with this adoption story. Even his own parents had a certain detachment toward him. He knew he was a prodigy and heir to the family but he always felt there was a slight lack of, love... His breath started to shorten a bit, his eyes started to moisten with tears. The emotion he was feeling came from a reservoir of subconscious understanding, confusion, hate, guilt, and abandonment. To hell with trying to keep his concentration with his sensory capabilities, this document would have been plenty of confirmation. Hirosaki wasn't the one who was lying, no, Draven's life, that was the lie..."I, I..." speachless...

[Arisu]

NPC: Lord Hirosaki

"You, our father and myself are all Genjutsu masters, curious is it not?" Hirosaki said. He was not comfortable with all things emotional. He knew that was an issue he had had while raising his children. And they had not received much more love from their mother either. Being the heirs to such a powerful and wealthy family came with its drawbacks, like with anything else. The lord took a deep breath. "All Tenshu must stand together. Family has always came first. You are a Tenshu, regardless of if you would have known all of your life or if you just learned of it." The silver haired man explained calmly as he reached out for his tea cup and took a sip of its warm contents. He sighed, knowing fully well that this was not an easy situation for the Chuunin.

"Yes, you will be moving in, you will be learning of our ways, of our history. You will protect the children of the clan as they are our future and our blood." Hirosaki explained calmly as if simply stating this made it all bound by them. "Surely this new life is more becoming of you than the one you would live in the No Shinda manor." The Tenshu head explained his voice always serene.

[Draven]

It was like the weight of the No Shinda was on Draven's shoulders. Sadly though, he was the only one left, and not by blood relations. It felt as if that was a feudal fight. Him and that mansion was the only remains of the No Shinda... Perhaps it was time for the No Shina to be no more.. He would nod.

"I am still deed holder to the No Shinda mansion..." The weight of Draven's words sat heavily upon his own mind. His thoughts drifted to his time in the crypt, his hand instinctively itching at the scar at his neck. Perhaps the No Shinda had died that day, the day of that assassination attempt.. Perhaps it was time to bury the remains. "I shall hold the deed until if ever another No Shinda raises from their unfortunate grave in history. For at the very least they deserve that." With that he would accept. He was to be a Tenshu and embrace his true lineage. Elite family or not, a family full of life was far more preferred then an empty one. Thoughts of his 20 year solitude within the crypts still fresh in his mind. "But from this day forth, I am Tenshu, Draven Tenshu."

[Arisu]

NPC: Lord Hirosaki

Hirosaki did not speak as he let Draven realize all that was before him. He would need to retire the manor. Even if he kept it in his name, he could not hope to keep it running. He was alone in there, the Tenshu Domain on the other hand was filled with life. Of course perhaps it would take some time for Draven to acclimated to the life with such a large and harsh family. But most got used to it. "Take the time you need. If you wish I can send servants to the No Shinda manor to clean up and bring your things to your new room." The Tenshu lord began calmly, there was no need to delay.

"If you have other places to be, there is no issue, by the time you return, your things will be moved to your room." Hirosaki explained, still as calm as ever, as if this had been all a normal conversation. "And it seems that my father was the one to name you. Draven was our great grandfather." Hirosaki said with a pleased smiled.

[Draven]

Draven was still a bit shocked from the whole situation. Still silent. The ambiance and sounds from outside but a whisper to him. Though, he reached for the cup of tea and took a sip. It was good...

Looking up and nodding Draven smiled as the origin of his name was spoken, "Thank you Brother..." said as he let the word brother hang in the air. Truth be told he didn't know this man's name, but it felt right to simply say that. "And yes, the only thing of real interest in that mansion is a Smithing component. Though I don't believe that would be able to be brought here. In any event, I do have things to do unfortunately.
